AMALICE HUENE is my pwotr oc! she's a dhampir sorcerer, specialising in necromancy, and takes the trickster mythic path. her mother was a half drow necromancer obsessed with undeath and the taboo, and her father was a vampire disgraced from his moroi house for crimes against his kin. amalice is the very definition of chaos, and despite initially fighting against her darker nature in her youth, the birth of her mythic powers dooms her to a life of violence, indulgence and depravity. her madness only grows over the course of the crusade as her powers intensify. by the end, she has married daeran, overthrown galfrey, and crowned herself and him as monarchs. the history books remember her as the mad queen of mendev, for better or for worse.

THALIA WOOTEN is my star trek (new movie trilogy) oc! she's a xenobiologist and uhura's roomate at starfleet who gets assigned to the enterprise at graduation. she's a perfectionist, definitely a little analytical, and her quarters are always coated in plants. her parents always pushed her to be the best, and this pressure put a strain on thalia's relationship with them, especially with her father. somewhere on the five year mission, the feelings she had been quietly (painfully) harbouring for her captain, jim, turn out to not be as unrequited as she thought.

have some amalice’s on this fine saturday night (x)

amalice spent her life fighting against her inherent nature and bloodline and power because she wanted to be a force of good in the world (unlike her parents), but from the second she was given her mythic powers it’s corrupted and maimed her into exactly the kind of person she didn’t want to be

amalice is literally so chaotic. she kills people on sight for looking at her funny or if she’s in the mood for it, but then ember can look at her with her big void eyes and suddenly she believes in the power of good and second chances, but then the queen will ask her to do literally anything and she immediately starts doing everything in her power to piss said queen off, but then she gets her hands on a very powerful and very evil sword and lies to a priest about it being destroyed even though she has no clue how to use a sword, but then she walks in on camellia literally cannibalising some random guy in an abandoned building and her reaction is ‘that’s gross but … you do you i guess, wanna be friends btw?’

prior to the crusade, amalice had always fought so hard against her inherent nature and magic because she wanted to be a Good Person, but no matter how hard she tried she was never quite able to shake the weight of tragedy and poor luck and evil that she’d inherited from her parents. it got to the point where she was dragging her goodness and hope behind her like a broken leg and she lied to herself that she was ok with that, that nursing a perpetual limp and leaving a blood trail in the dirt was the price you had to pay for being good. it wasn’t until the crusade and the exponential growth of her magic and the corruption of the power that came with it that she finally severed that rotting part of herself and let herself just be who she wanted (powerful, carefree, and above all, selfish with her life because it’s hers, isn’t it?)

also then the juxtaposition between myana and amalice as queens in the pathfinder universe. myana, who rules with a council to keep herself in check and always does what is best for her people and is a champion of freedom and peace and love. amalice, who rules because she likes the power it gives her and will happily murder people in front of her whole court and is a figure of chaos and indulgence and depravity.

about to think some post-wotr thoughts that are so cringe and self-indulgent for amalice

amalice is a very charismatic person who has quite good control over her own emotions, but her fangs and magic always give her away when she’s pissed

the irony of amalice saving the world and, for all intents and purposes, ending the crusade as a hero, only to go insane from her powers within months of the war ending
