Irmau is basically an SWTOR version of Hirimau Dahan, a tech priest character from a 40K book called Forges of Mars.

Irmau is, like, everything Thanaton hates.

He hates cyborgs, and Irmau is one.

He likely hates aliens, cause letting aliens have nice things is UNTRADISHUNAL (tm). Irmau is Rattataki.

Irmau is an upstart, apprentice to a Sith Lord whom Thanaton also hated. Irmau is a former slave.

Irmau is anathema to everything Darth Thanaton stood for.
