Hinata has beaten Kageyama in an official match! This has been like, almost a decade in the making. (Remember, this match is in the year 2018.) He’s been waiting for this for seven years. Seven years of intense training and hard work and pushing himself to his limits time and time again.

I’m just drowning in emotion. We all have been waiting for Kuroo to make an appearance. He was officially the last one to not have shown, whether in flashbacks or watching the game. Of course he’s a promoter for the JVA. If he wasn’t a pro, this would have been the next logical step. I could never really see Kuroo stepping away from volleyball, unlike Kenma or Noya, who enjoyed it yes but it was never a true passion of theirs.

(Although, I’m a little bummed my theory was wrong—)

Their dynamic is exactly the same from high school. It’s been SIX YEARS and they still act like they did in first year. I’m screaming.

I have a feeling that ch. 402 will be the final chapter. It just makes sense now that the Black Jackels vs. Schweiden Adlers game is over. We get one more glimpse into the pro volleyball world of Hinata and Kageyama, and then we say goodbye.

UGHHH!!! My heart. I'm so happy Furudate added this scene to show that they're on good terms. Just having Kageyama asking to play volleyball again and them agreeing was a simple way to show they're alright. Kageyama and Kindaichi are just so sweet here.

And Kunimi just being Kunimi. Hehehe. He's a realist. And he's going to be a grumpy old man when he's 70. lol. (Can you tell his my current fav? lol. I still hope to write a long fic for him one day.)
