The Librarians are going to LA! I've received some news that made me very happy this week. My Librarians piece created while taking a character design course at CGMA 2D academy back in 2014, has been selected for the upcoming CGMA gallery show The Art of Creative Composition, amongst many other pieces of CGMA alumni and industry professionals. These guys were the very first character designs I was actually happy with, instructed by the great Nate Wragg. The gallery opening will be on Saturday 8 June 2019 at The Animation Guild Gallery 839 (1105 N. Hollywood Way Burbank CA 91505) from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. I'm taking a hardware and mecha design class on CG Master Academy with Michal Kus, and the first assignment was creating sketches of hardware pieces. The goal mostly focusing on shapes, form and perspective. Here we have a cargo transport, starfighter, battle cruiser, starliner, drop ship, and mecha tank. Here it is, I finally put together the work I have done during the 8 weeks course #characterdesign for #production.
