Well that was interesting. 🙈 Missed my ferry from Koh Tao. (Thanks @bigbluediving fam!) Missed my flight out of Koh Samui. Almost got arrested in Singapore (I have a lovely police statement souvenir now!). Delayed & surprise stopover on my following flight. And just drove through the dark in Philippines crammed in a van full of strangers (21 people + luggage fit in a 15 passenger van, right?!), nothing booked, and a barely working SIM. But! I now have a cold beer, a place to stay and made friends with an old guy named Oliver from Luxembourg. Toronto Raptors are playing on the TV, and my beer cozie is Australian, so I figure all is right in the world. 🙌 Malapascua (hopefully!) in the AM! (Assuming the boats aren't cancelled like they were today!!) Yet again- humanity pulls through, and life still doesn't suck! 💗 #CGadventure #philippines #backpackerlife (at Skip's Beach Resort)

Gooooood morning, Gold Coast! 🇦🇺 After 1 overnight ferry (& 1 ridiculous sleepwalking incident), 3 flights, 4 airports, 1 almost-missed flight, 2 signed medical waivers, 1 awesome flight attendant, 1 roadside barf stop, 1 epic case of altitude sickness 🤢 (oh and of course the 10 stitches) - it's definitely nice to finalllllly be home resting under the covers. Missing all & everyone that is Koh Tao, but looking forward to all the naps & crappy MTV shows for the next few days.
