Lucifer agere headcanons

He tends to regress either very little, 1 or younger, or regress to a middle space around 10 with no real in between 

He has a much harder time with his regression than his brothers and does it very rarely 

Lucifer is a prideful man and hates the vulnerability that comes with regressing, especially because his regression age can get so young. He feels like he needs to always be big so that he can take care of his brothers 

He has a bad habit of pushing his regression off as much as he can so that he can take care of everyone else. He has such a strong will that he rarely slips unless he is 100% alone with no chance of anyone needing him 

Logically he knows there isn't anything wrong with being little but it hurts his pride that he needs it. He thinks that if he were just a little stronger, just a little better, he wouldn’t need regression at all and it frustrates him endlessly that he relies on it so heavily 

He has an easier time regressing to his older age because he still feels somewhat in control 

When he’s in his younger headspace he becomes somewhat helpless. He can barely walk and fine motor skills are almost gone 

When he’s in his babyspace he doesn't have any real control over his emotions the way he does while big or even while in his older headspace 

Lucifer will go completely nonverbal in his younger headspace and ends up crying or babbling to communicate his needs and becoming very frustrated with both himself and you when he isn’t understood 

Since he usually regresses alone his younger self is not used to having someone there to take care of him. Once he has had a taste of having you there to care for him he can’t get enough and becomes very clingy. 

Little Lucifer tends to have issues with his memories and generally gets memories from when he’s big in blurs or flashes which he quickly loses hold of. He knows how he feels about things but the actual reasons why often escape him 

Naptime is huge for Lucifer when he’s regressed. Because it’s one of the few times that he physically can’t get any work done he doesn’t feel guilty for getting the sleep he desperately needs and on more than one occasion Lucifer has spent his entire regression fast asleep 

If you carry him and he will hide his face in your shoulder in embarrassment to avoid having to look into your eyes but he really does like it 

If you are watching him he will do bathtime. When Lucifer trusts you enough to watch him while regressed it means he trusts you with everything and this includes bathing him while he’s tiny 

Little Lucifer loves music and has several records that he likes to have on specifically when he’s little. 

He isn’t a very active little all things considered. He does so much every day that when he finally allows himself to regress he doesn’t want to do anything that takes a lot of effort. This, combined with the fact that he won't regress outside his room, means activities are somewhat limited 

His favorite snack is poison apple slices with honey and and warm milk 

If he’s little he won’t leave his room so unless he has snacks tucked away or you are watching him and willing to run down to the kitchen he doesn’t usually eat while little

He loves when you bottle feed him. He finds it incredibly soothing to be held close to you while he eats 

He has one stuffed animal that you got him after learning about his regression which is a peacock and a baby blanket that he loves to be swaddled up in. they are his biggest comfort items when small 

On his own he will remove a few of his layers and let himself be less formally dressed when little. If you are there taking care of him he will let you put him in almost any outfit you want as long as he thinks it looks good 

Lucifer started using a paci when he started sucking his thumb while regressing to try and avoid that particular habit. The downside is that he often times finds them to be yet another frustrating roadblock to making his wants and needs understood 

Getting him to wear diapers while little is the biggest struggle. It’s the thing he feels most insecure about regarding his regression and for a long time he decided it was better to have to clean his sheets every time he regressed rather than risk being caught purchasing or wearing diapers. Even with a caregiver he trusts it’s terrifying and deeply embarrassing for him and being changed usually results in him crying. With a lot of praise and comfort he is learning to accept it though 

Absolutely no one knows about his regression besides you. Barbatos has his suspicions but he would never let Lucifer know about them out of respect for the man. He only told you after you two got together and made a pact because he didn’t want there to be anymore secrets between you 

He started regressing shortly after the fall when the weight of becoming a demon, loosing his sister, birthing satan and adjusting to his new life became too much

Say further into the relationship, when the ROs and MC are together, the RO has a nightmare one night (involving the MC or not, up to you) and wakes up, looks to where MC usually is (for comfort, or to remind themselves MC is there and safe, etc) and MC...isn't there. How do they react? (Bonus for their reaction to MC coming back a few minutes later)

Mal - Lays there quietly, watching and waiting. Quite possibly pretends to be asleep when they come back. But then rolls over and hugs them.

Teddie - Gets up and looks around, growing increasingly agitated if he can't find MC. Tries to act like he's not too bothered/upset when he finds them but uhh. Isn't good at it.

Kay - Pretty agitated and worried, calls out to them. Holds them close when they get back.

Wil - Gets up and waits up. Doesn't rush around but trusts that MC just needed something/space. Talks to them about it when they get back, checking in and reassuring if possible.

CG - Does not do well with it. Immediately up and out of bed and running around searching. Chides them in a kind of way that only happens when a person is deeply worried.

Alistair - Calls out, but then stays where he is and waits for them to come back. Similar to Wil, would check in with them when they get back and offer reassurances, but much more likely than Wil to share a little of his own nightmare.

Beth - Does Not do well with this. Bordering on panic. Scrambling around trying to work out where they've gone, calling other people on the phone if MC isn't in the building. Frantically chews MC out when they're reuinited, but clearly too shaken to have any teeth.

Tiny baby. Never older than 3

Regresses probably around once or twice a month on his own although if Beel regresses it does usually trigger his own regression as well 

He is able to resist his headspace pretty well but why would he? He likes being little so there is no reason to exert energy into putting it off 

He really enjoys his regression. When he’s little no one expects him to do the things he doesn't have energy for. All the things that are bad habits when he’s big become perfectly reasonable behaviors when he’s small. No one is going to be upset when a baby has a hard time sleeping through the night or when they need to nap in the middle of the day

Belphie has a hard time with hand eye coordination and when little. Zippers and buttons are his enemy and he always needs you do help him get dressed 

If beel is regressed with him or is taking care of him he sometimes tries to hide when he’s upset so his twin wont worry about him 

Prefers to just point or make sounds to communicate when small. Not big on talking. Somehow Beel is always able to understand what he is saying  

Very sleepy and moody. He tends to fuss if left on his own too long or if he’s kept up when he’s tired 

Belphie probably spends more time asleep than he does awake while regressed 

The second he regresses it’s like his legs stop working. He won’t walk anywhere and the only way to move him is to carry him which he has no complaints about 

Being in warm water makes him sleepy and so he takes a bath alone while little. He knows falling asleep in the tub is a drowning hazard but he still grumbles and whines when you insist on keeping him awake until he’s out of the bath

He has a star mobile he’s obsessed with if you lay him down under it he will spend hours just looking up at it

Belphie loves to be swaddled up in his blanket

Despite being very sleepy most of the time  he is always willing to play with beel when they are little together. He loves to spend time with his twin

Really likes soft foods like yogurt and applesauce while little and loves to be bottle fed 

He has a lot of stuffies and shares some other toys like blocks and balls with Beel 

Big blanket boy. He has a star baby blanket that he is glued to and it’s a big comfort item for him  

Belphie mostly wears pajamas when he’s regressed.  Things that are loose and soft and breathable are ideal. He also owns several of those baby sleep sacks 

He does like using a paci and he finds them soothing although he tends to lose them in his blankets when they fall out as he sleeps 

He does use diapers while regressed. They are just another thing that takes away responsibilities for him while small and he really loves that 

Beel knew about his regression first but he didn’t really make much of an effort to hide it and the rest of his siblings know too 

He is very nervous when he first tells you about his regression even though he knows that you will be understanding 

Part of the reason he tells you is that he really does want a caregiver. He loves Beel but he needs someone who is big enough to help him with all the things he’s too little to do and since he and Beel often regress at the same time he’s usually not able to do that 

If you put belphie in time out for any reason Beel will sit by him in solidarity until he’s out

Lucifer would be one of the best Care givers you could ever ask for

he would be strict but only when it involves your safety and well being

if he has a lot of work to get done he´ll bring you into his office with him so he could keep an eye on you while getting his work done.

you want your daddy to hold you. he´ll sit you on his lap while he works

depending on what age you regress too he´ll be strict on a bed time, bath time, dinner, TV time, etc

you're not allowed Mammon unsupervised. that´s all i gotta say about that.

he does´t really want to leave you alone with any of his brothers but sometimes he has to, he´d prefer to leave you with Beel because hes the less likely to get you into trouble. besides him letting you eat whatever you want.

if he could take you everywhere he goes he would.

Lucifer knows you so well so if youre non-verbal he´ll know what exactly what you need from just a look.

he would keep your little stuff in his room and office for whenever you feel little. he has your favorite snacks ready too

you´re not allowed out of The House of Lamentation without him when little.

gotta hold hands when you're out in public so you don´t wonder off.

he would care for you like you´ve never been cared for before.

if anyone even dares to judge you he´ll shut it down immediately, hanging them upside down if needed.
