You know what- while I'm reconning Kharon, I might as well retcon Sol Selma-Dona's name again. I have a close relative named Donna and I doubt she'd want her name to be used for a villain. Plus- Selma-Sol sounds a lot funnier as a pun name.

Because then you've got Kharon Selma-Sol as well which makes you really think, "Oh gosh- whyyyyyy?"

Selma-Dona's first name is actually Sol.

Sol Selma is her true maiden name....

On her liscense- is reads as Selma, Sol.

Selma Sol lol. Get it? Eeeeeh- it's a tried pun.

Selma-Dona Sol on the other hand likes money because it gives her power. She has all sorts of money at her disposal. But it will never be enough to satisfy her true desire for complete dominion over everything. Could this come from living a life of oppression and wanting power to fulfill that emptiness in her heart? Its hard to really tell. Perhaps she just wants to see if she can.

One kind of spoilery thing I'll drop about Cave Finders is that Claire loves money. Not in like a Mr. Krabs kind of way or Scrooge McDuck kind of way, but like in an Allen Walker and Uraraka kind of way. I'll joke about it now and again and when I get into the main story, you'll see her act kind of stingy or overly upset about how money is spent. She lost everything a long time ago when she first met Atka and was financially abused growing up, so her biggest fear is to be left with practically nothing again. Hence, she'll do what she can to keep it...

... except for the one thing that could have saved her.
