One of the reasons why I don’t usually post about test performances is because of my fear of what other people would say but you know what, it is my account and it’ll be fun to look back on these words years from now. This is a reminder of how students have the capacity to put in the effort and triumph over obstacles for our dreams and ambitions.
Weeks before our battery exam, my heart went from being happy to being broken then mended again. Tears were shed, and I felt the pressure brought upon by the expectations on me. I started browsing through my notes, but the time supposedly spent for the review was mostly allocated to studying for the final tests, as those came first. Hours supposedly spent at study areas were spent running errands for our organization’s last major event. Balancing my responsibilities and having emotional fluctuations affected my focus and concentration, and left me with limited hours to review.
The day before the exam, I spent the morning teaching kids. In the afternoon, I read as much as I could. After dinner, I felt sleepy before 11PM and told myself I’d wake up early instead. Next thing I know it was 6 o’clock in the morning and I was not able to rise on time.
The battery exam is a comprehensive examination taken by the 4th year students of our school before they could proceed to their clinic year. It was nerve-wracking going through the pages of the tests and finding difficulty on the provided questions. In the wide spectrum of things, this may seem like a small win but a wave of gratitude, joy, and relief washed over me when the results were announced.
I am writing this to immortalize this memory here. The battery exam journey reminds me of fries, rice porridge, and different flavors of artificial milktea. But it also reminds me of holding on tight, having faith, and having perseverance. Here’s to believing that we are capable of achieving greatness even in the most challenging circumstances.

Reflection and Planning for Tomorrow using Canvas
Before calling it a night, I reflect on the day's accomplishments and set goals for tomorrow. I use Canvas. It is an app that has modules, activities, and a list of announcements that our professor posted for our class. This software also captures our online activity. This kind of tool allows us to communicate with our teachers and classmates, which makes it quite useful in my opinion. I use Canvas to set priorities for my chores and make a successful plan.

How to be a US Pharmacist if you’re a Philippine Registered Pharmacist.
Tumblr media
(Overview of the process ⬆️)
Maraming nagtatanong sa page ko kung paano daw maging US Pharmacist as a Filipino Pharmacist. Kaya, I'll just create a one big post about it. Oo nga pala, it's really hard to get a work visa/sponsorship from the US kung foreign pharmacist ka.
So, kung wala kang way na makapunta ng US to legally work (like a petition, etc) it'll be difficult (Unlike sa mga nurses). I'm no visa expert and won't be able to answer any at all.
but if you're already in the US (as a citizen/permanent resident) and you have a BS Pharmacy degree from the Philippines, here's for you!
First, let's talk about qualifications:
1. You have to be a licensed pharmacist in your home country first. kailangan, board passer ka muna sa Philippines. HINDI REQUIRED ang ANY work experience to qualify for the exam.
2. Your education should be a MINIMUM of 5- years if you graduated after Jan 1, 2003. Kapag 4 years lang natapos, you'll have to go back to school for another year (CLINICAL PHARMACY) or PharmD (plus 2 years). NO EXCEPTIONS. again, di naman mandatory ang pharmD. Okay na yung clinical pharmacy. Also, Not MS/PhD kasi i-evaluate siya case by case and hindi guaranteed to qualify.
Pero kung grumaduate ka before ng Jan 1, 2003, you can take the exam with a 4-year degree as long as you passed the other requirements like TOEFL, good standing w/ your license sa PH, etc.
After meeting the education requirements, no need to study again in the US.
For me, I graduated sa CEU-Manila noong 2015. Kulang yung 4- years na degree ko kaya I went back to school noong 2020-2021 (Clinical pharmacy). I'll link below my experience a full-time student sa Philippines while also working full-time in Texas.
Let's talk about the exams you need to take:
1. TOEFL (ENGLISH TEST) - there are minimum scores you need to achieve. Kahit offered ang TOEFL sa Philippines, it's only acceptable by the US kapag tinake mo siya mismo sa US territories or parts of Canada. You can take this exam with a US tourist visa. TOEFL ha, not IELTS. You can take this anytime kasi 2 years naman ang validity niya.
2. FPGEE (Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Exam). Itong exam na ito ay para sa mga Pharmacists educated outside of the USA. Kahit sa Philippines ka grumaduate, or UK, or Canada, Australia, SAME EXAM for EVERYONE. You need to pass this exam in order for you to INTERN sa desired state mo. This exam is usually administered ONCE A YEAR DURING FALL. You can take this exam with a tourist visa. Btw, it is important to say na kahit na qualified ka na to take the FPGEE, it doesn't guarantee your US tourist visa acceptance. kaya plan accordingly.
question about how to apply? please join the PH FPGEE support group. I already posted the detailed instructions on how to file your application. here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/filipinofpgeesupport/
Next step is INTERNSHIP. Once you passed TOEFL and FPGEE you're given an FPGEC certification which is a requirement for foreign pharmacists to start Internship! With internship, US tourist visa is not allowed anymore. You need to have a work visa na. Example sa California ay 1500 hours. Sa Texas ay 1740 hours. CHECK your RESPECTIVE state's Board of Pharmacy.
3. NAPLEX (North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination). I've shared to you my experience when I took it. Ito yung exam na tinatake ng mga FPGEE passers after internship and PharmD graduates ng US. Please see my posts about sa details ng exam and my experiences. I'll link them below.
4. The last exam is MPJE/CPJE. Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination® aka the LAW EXAM. Kahit naipasa mo yung NAPLEX pero hindi yung MPJE, you won't be able to practice as a US Pharmacist. This is a very tricky exam and it should not be taken lightly.
after you take these exams + Internships, you're now a US Pharmacists!! Good luck everyone and I encourage you to read the official BULLETINS only from the NABP site.
If you have any questions except VISA, feel free to message me as I have taken all the exams na. I'm here to help yo Pero before you ask anything, please read this "frequently asked questions": https://theilustrado.com/faqforcc Any repeating questions won't be answered kasi nakalagay naman na diyan. 🙂

Bully List
Armela Pamilosa - CEU Nursing Teacher - about 50s in age (2007)
Whenever I am around she keeps telling that only those who have high IQ can play instruments because there are some that plays instrument in class.
She also said that only good-looking students and have no pimples are accepted at UST.
She also said at review in the last semester of my course that she supposedly will attend Born-again Church and did not because Pondang is gay as what SRG is also telling and I am assuming that she knew about Word of Hope, my religion and my UST entrance exam.
On our clinical duty at NCMH Psychiatric Hospital. I was dumbfounded because she shouted at me. I really do not know the reason because she is like that only to me. She maltreated me just like what the other teachers at CEU Nursing and Dentistry and yet to other students, they have cordial relationship unlike mine. I do not know why. I am thinking that maybe because I gave burger, lighter and cigarette to one of the caretakers (Extra) of the hospital and other stuffs they requested like towels, shorts, shirts and toiletries, shampoo, soap and toothbrush and toothpaste. She also said that Piolo and Butch are gay and doing oral sex in the hospital and have teeth that is why it is easier for them to have oral sex. She said that on the van service.
I have good intentions because I am thinking of providing dental service since hospital dentistry is also done in CEU while studying. Maybe they need dentures or restorations of teeth or cleaning just before I entered Nursing at CEU. CEU Dentistry have no Psychiatric Affiliations.
I am thinking that Armela Pamilosa is related to Ana Carla Bernardo Cortes and Ferdinand Abon because the had a corny joke that Ibon becomes Ebon in Pampanga Apalit Calumpit.
I am disheartened because I remembered that she always have her laptop connected to HDMI or projector. I am wondering why, looking now that I am endangered because I do not know her classes or who are her students since 1999 happened.
They are also telling in the service that some of the patients in the mental hospital are strangled to lose consciousness. Thinking now since 2019 happened that they are threatening me. I got strangled at NCMH. I am thinking that I am sane and mentally capable, just depressed and fatigued and I want to sue NCMD and DOH and CEU. I am suing NCMH for medical malpractice, negligence, malevolence, battery and assault and battery by lack of consent.
2. Cristine Reyes
She gaslighted that those who cannot be trusted in small things cannot be trusted for bigger things. (She might learned that I will study and continue my Pre-Medicine course to Dentistry.)(I always laughed at the back of my mind because she has the same name as the bold star, Eva Fonda was shown then in 2009.)(She said it because I failed to buy seedlings and pot at a store in Plaridel which will be needed tomorrow morning and due to time constraints, it is already nearing evening, I attempted to look at the shop that she said near Padilla Hospital and I failed to buy it because I cannot find the shop and thinking it is already close, I used my resources at our home like some of our plastic pots and seeds and I think 100 Pesos is not enough for jeepney fare alone from Malolos to Plaridel.) I was 18 then.
3. Amelia Valencia
She told her students that they honor their professors, just take for an example, the Japanese students bowed at their teacher as their honorific.
The Japanese are disciplined citizens because their environment is clean. (They saw before that I never threw trash and I put the candy wrapper in my pants and not on the streets)
The Muslims like the Catholics pray at 3 pm at ABS-CBN after It's Showtime. The Muslims bowed and close their shops at 3 pm.
She got angry at me because I failed at playing Memoirs of Geisha with subtitles using my laptop in school. The term subtitle or additional title for Books and Movies like subchapters became an issue at schools in .srt.
She told their trip at China, the Chinese cannot speak English. (I know it because I went to Hong Kong and even the Japanese can't speak English)
She let me report Buddhism although she knows about my religion and about the country of Japan (thinking that she maybe know about Padilla, a hostess in Japan)
Her daughter Eamor introduced me at 17 years old at Sodom and Gomorrah and the bad rape jokes that for me are just silly jokes. I also learned that she is paranoid that some knew her and called her at church due to Friendster although they are unknown. I just got a hunch that maybe she is related to Pasia Tores due to her looks and true enough seeing the BSN passer now 2024, her surname was Tores.
They also had malice because for me only doctors should wear Blazers due to conduct and medical ethics and not due to personal attacks.
I just look who is less uglier in the class.
I'm just sick of the pikot system. I have high grades, line of 9's and 92. I should be in A.

Blog 5- The Future Is Bright!
Choosing Occupational Therapy as a career choice as a young and naïve teenager just out of Matric, was not a choice that came easy. I remember spending hours researching what the degree entails, what type of fields I could see myself in as well as what the need is for an OT in society. I spoke to qualified OTs about their passion for the job, the good and bad and realised that it was where I would find my place.
The future of OT is bright, our role is being given the recognition it deserves. There are many evolving areas of OT, I will discuss 2 that were most interesting to me
OT In Mental Health
There is a growing recognition of the interconnectedness between mental health and physical well-being in occupational therapy. CEU Outlet. (2024).
OTs are becoming a more permanent part of the team that treats mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression and stress related disorders.
For me, OT in mental health is such a vast area since mental health is so different for each patient, no two patients are the same. To prepare for our growing role in mental healthcare, I am trying my best to read more books on mental health, and the role we have to play in it. After my psychosocial block I am more confident in my knowledge on where OT fits in with mental health and how occupational intervention is imperative for the healing journey of a MHCU.
OT and Technological Advancements
Since the world is becoming more and more digitalised, OT being the evolving and dynamic career that it is, is poised to undergo significant transformations. Jobya Inc. (2023). The integration of technology in healthcare has increased since COVID 19. Occupational Therapists offer remote consultations and interventions using telehealth principles. telehealth allows therapists to reach more patients remotely. This expands access to care for those in rural areas. American Profession Guide. (2023). Providing service to patients in the comfort of their homes enables OT to be as client centred and individualised as possible. Remote OT services reduces travel time and costs as well as reduces the risk of infection.
As an OT student, studying in South Africa, it is important to take into consideration the context of most of our population. Whilst telehealth may be an amazing innovation which does prove immensely useful in 1st world countries, it seems like a distant reality for me as a South African health care worker. Majority of our patients do not have access to technology or reliable internet. Due to the socioeconomic gap in our country telehealth seems like a great option but it is an option that does not yet fit into our society.
In the future of my career, I would love to see South Africa improve and evolve into a country that uses technology and telehealth to our benefit.
To prepare for the changes OT may see to come in the future, I am trying to ensure that the theory and basis of our career is not lost along the way. Trying to enrich myself with knowledge on the science behind what OT is, the proven outcomes and the projected enhancements will hopefully enable me to become an OT who is dynamic, creative and progressive.

Central European University is an undergraduate- and graduate-level "crossroads" university where faculty and students from more than 100 countries come to engage in interdisciplinary education, pursue advanced scholarship, and address some of society's most vexing problems.
CEU is accredited in the United States and Austria, which means that the university offers English-language bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs in the social sciences, the humanities, law, management and public policy. Located in Vienna, the heart of Europe, CEU has a distinct academic and intellectual focus, combining the comparative study of the region's historical, cultural, and social diversity with a global perspective on good governance, sustainable development and social transformation.
Founded in 1991 at a time when revolutionary changes were throwing off the rigid orthodoxies imposed on Central and Eastern Europe, CEU is based on the premise that human fallibility can be counterbalanced by the critical discussion of ideas and that this critical spirit can be sustained best in societies where citizens have the freedom to scrutinize competing theories and openly evaluate and change government policies.
CEU is one of the most densely international universities in the world. Its rare mix of nationalities, ethnicities, and cultures creates an ideal environment for examining "open society" subjects as emerging democracies, transitional economies, media freedom, nationalism, human rights, and the rule of law. It also brings multifaceted perspectives to all aspects of community life.
CEU is known for excellence in teaching and research--with purpose. At the core of its mission lies a set of principles: the pursuit of truth wherever it leads, respect for the diversity of cultures and peoples, and commitment to resolve differences through debate not denial.

LIFE & TECHNOLOGY

M3 POST TASK A: “Life & Technology” - Individual Task
Tumblr media
MAXIMIZE EFFICIENCY.
I use my laptop for tasks that cannot be accomplished on my cellphone. For example, I have a rush task that requires some image editing and attachment to the file. It takes too long to work on my cellphone, so I use my laptop instead. My laptop greatly assists me with my education and responsibilities; all of my credentials, files, and documents required for my studies are saved on my laptop. Also, when I'm at home and have an online class, I use my laptop. Its larger screen and higher sound quality than my cellphone allow me to have a more productive learning experience. It also provides me with a better entertainment experience for watching movies on Netflix and Disney+.
Tumblr media
TICK TOCK, GET UP, AND GET THAT DEGREE!
My alarm, or clock, is a lifesaver for me. This application is something I use on a daily basis. It makes it much easier for me to get up early when I have an early class. It also serves as a reminder to be more conscientious about my time management.
Tumblr media
A THING THAT SILENCES MY THOUGHTS
My AirPods are quite useful in many situations. I listen to music with my AirPods. And when I'm outside and have an online class, the noise reduction feature allows me to hear the discussion. I use my AirPods whenever I work on my tasks since I need to think without distractions and silence my thoughts in order to focus fully on what I'm going to do.
Tumblr media
MY DEFINITION OF PRODUCTIVITY
Canvas is one of the most extensively used learning management systems in educational institutions, allowing learners as well as instructors to post and engage with academic resources online. I used the Canvas platform to accomplish my academic activities. One of the most popular platforms in use at colleges and universities these days is Google Meet. I usually use this platform for my classes, as it is the first one used for online learning. Google Meet is how I stay in touch with my lecturers and fellow students. I accessed my educational resources via my CEU Gmail account. And I used Google Drive to store some of my important files that are needed for my requirements and activities in school. Also, the Zoom platform is sometimes used when the school is holding an event because it caters to all the students who want to join. Lastly, there is the Canva platform, which I also use very often to edit my presentations for my reports and other activities.
Tumblr media
COMMUNICATE WITH ME!
Messenger is my most often-used application or platform. This is what I use to communicate with others. I used it frequently, especially during school-related activities. Messenger is the primary channel for disseminating information from my teachers, groupmates, and others. I also use this to stay in touch with friends and relatives whom I can no longer see due to my hectic schedule.

A Week In Bali
Alhamdulillah tsumma alhamdulillah.
So, besides the kosan yg super alhamdulillah sesuai ekspektasi (plus ada dapur bersama jadi bisa masak juga! Hemat-hemat , ceu) i would like to reflect my pre departure training journey kali, ya.
Menurut gue, Australia Awards were very thoughtful of arranging this pre departure training!
Tumblr media
Hal yg menurut gue sgt.. wow?! Krn jujur kayanya beasiswa sebelah gak sekomprehensif ini mempersiapkan awardee-nya! Tapiiiii.. sebenernya wajar aja AAS udh se-prepare ini soalnya usia beasiswa mereka udh 70 tahun coy!!! Kl selama 70 tahun ini kualitas mereka masih sama kek beasiswa sebelah ya aneh bgt sih jujurrrrrr.
Dan saking detailnya penjelasan step by step mereka, gue merasa kuliah di bulan januari nanti masih jauuuhhhhhhh bgt :”) padahal kl dihitung waktu cm tinggal 3 bulan lagi, tp krn stepnya masih banyak dan panjang jadi kaya “haaaah ini tahap pertama dari segala uneasy yg akan lo hadapi di dunia master nanti coyyy” every end is another beginning, ya gak sihh? Mungkin this is the end of my scholarship hunting, but this is the new journey to become a master student.
In between that, ya harus siap2 jual barang - pindahan barang jugaa!!
Kenalan sm org baru, berasa blm punya anak! Wkwkwk!!
Mudahkanlaah yaaAllah! Mudahkaan! Aamiinn yaa rabbal alamiinn!!

Who Requires Rigging Certification Training
Inspecting an old home or vast premises that contain dark and dingy corners carefully before moving in is essential. The moist areas not only entrap water but may be overrun with molds, too. This infestation is a health hazard that can pose severe risks to one’s health and property. The building structure may deteriorate once the molds convert it into their haven. The molds or their spores may not always be visible. Being down with allergies regularly is a sure-shot indication of molds in the property, though. The best way to identify their presence and take remedial measures is to have professionals inspect the area thoroughly. The National Association of Mold Professionals (NAMP) has designed a course to identify molds by educating the students. This specific training course is aimed at people hoping to take up mold inspection as a profession. The student may opt for the mold certification online, which provides complete knowledge about molds and informs the student about protection from hazards.
A non-profit organization, the NAMP courses are recognized as the best nationwide. The certification training is in high demand among the following:-
Almost anyone likely to come across molds during work can join the training course and earn the requisite certificate. The students taking the course usually include:-
· Home Inspectors · Builders · Remodelers · Plumbers · Electricians · HVAC Contractors · Pest Control Contractors · Carpet Cleaners · Fire, Flood, and Water Restoration Contractors · House Designers · Architects · Engineers Interestingly, the NAMP Mold Inspection and Remediation course has been approved for professionals engaged with the following associations:
· National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI) - 16 CEUs · The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification (IICRC) - 1 CEC · ASHI® - 2 Membership Renewal Credits. · The National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) - 16 CEUs · State of Louisiana Mold Remediation Licensing - 24 Hours
The working individuals may find it hard to make time to attend classroom training. This certification training course can be taken online at one’s convenience. The student can log in at a convenient time once they have registered. The time is not too stringiest either, with six months being the limited period for completion. The student becomes informed about the following once the course is completed successfully:
· The role and services offered by a National Association of Mold Professionals (NAMP) Certified Mold Inspector · Discussion on the characteristics and health impact of fungi and the signs that indicate the presence of toxic mold · Understanding various ways to control mold · Identification of the mold detection tools used by professional inspectors · Use of special personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect oneself · Identification of the areas and methods used to inspect the exterior & interior of building premises, attics, basements, crawl spaces, foundations, roofs, and kitchens, bathrooms, and other rooms, including passageways
· Knowledge of mold testing procedures and related legal requirements · The right interpretation of laboratory results Heavy machinery operators are advised to take the certification training approved by OSHA to ensure safety when rigging certification training cranes or operating heavy machinery.

How do I get a Medical Coding Certificate?
Medical coding is a rapidly growing field in the healthcare industry. It involves converting medical procedures, diagnoses, and symptoms into universal codes for insurance purposes. If you are interested in pursuing a career in medical coding, obtaining a certificate is a great way to start. A medical coding certificate program will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a certified medical coder.
Here are the steps to follow to get a medical coding certificate:
1. Research the Requirements: The first step is to research the requirements for obtaining a medical coding certificate. This may vary depending on the institution or program you choose. Some programs may require a high school diploma or equivalent, while others may require prior healthcare experience or a college degree.
2. Choose an Accredited Program: It is important to choose a program that is accredited by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). These organizations ensure that the program meets the standards and requirements for medical coding education.
3. Determine the Format of the Program: Medical coding certificate programs are offered in different formats such as online, on-campus, or a hybrid of both. Consider your personal preferences and schedule when choosing the format that works best for you.
4. Enroll in the Program: Once you have chosen a program, you can enroll and begin your coursework. The program will cover topics such as medical terminology, anatomy, coding systems, and insurance processes. You will also learn about the different code sets, including the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS).
5. Complete the Required Courses: Most medical coding certificate programs require students to complete a specific number of courses, which can take anywhere from a few months to a year to finish. The courses will cover the fundamentals of medical coding and will prepare you for the certification exam.
6. Gain Hands-On Experience: In addition to coursework, some programs also require students to complete an internship or externship to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting. This is a valuable opportunity to practice your skills and work with experienced professionals.
7. Take the Certification Exam: After completing the required coursework and gaining hands-on experience, you will be eligible to take the certification exam. The most common certification for medical coding is the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam offered by the AAPC. The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions and takes about 5 hours to complete.
8. Maintain Your Certification: Once you have obtained your medical coding certificate, it is important to maintain your certification by completing continuing education credits (CEUs) every two years. This will ensure that you stay updated on the latest changes and developments in the field.
In conclusion, obtaining a medical coding certificate requires dedication, hard work, and commitment. It is a valuable credential that will open up various opportunities in the healthcare industry. By following these steps, you can begin your journey towards becoming a certified medical coder and embark on a fulfilling and rewarding career in the field of medical coding.
