Soooo I just finished the game...and I absolutely LOVED it. Now ever since I've played both Dating Start! and Act to Flirt (all within a span of three weeks actually) i have become a certified Sans simp, I stan my favorite skeleton so much. Sooo yeah ever since valentines I have been fangirling over him up to now, and wowieee this game elevated my simp level. Soo I guess what I'm saying is that I really loved your rendition of Sans here. It was really a good choice to make a separate route cuz yeah, it really needs time and multiple resets to get Sans to trust you. Though I have to confirm, how does he remember? Dreams? Does he dream of the human and remember his feelings through those dreams? Or is there another method for retaining some bits and pieces throughout the resets.

Oh yeahh I loved the music as well. Soo I have loved the theme "it's raining somewhere else" and I looked it up constantly on youtube. I even found this vocal cover that I liked that I played on repeat. So imagine my utter delight when that was the credits song for Sans's route. Yeah and the chibi version of them added to the cuteness as well. And the version of tears in the rain that plays in his route? That was also so good! Like it fit that uhh moment so well. Like the despair and heartbreak in that scene...ahh the music really reflected it. I also loved other pieces of music as well, like the tracks during Asriel's battle, yeah that was so cool.

I just really really love this game.

Aha I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!!! And honestly, despite how weird this might sound, I am a little happy that AtF 4.0 got delayed a bit, otherwise its release would have been far too close to Dating Start!'s. I was definitely a bit worried about that when I saw its release date but I guess my inability to write fast helped in that scenario at least dvhdb

But yes, Sans (and most of the other characters, as he also says) remembers things through dreams! Every reset they end up waking up (or "waking up" if they were already awake) with a vague sense of déjà vu that they can't quite place, with some vaguely retained memories. Sans, however, is one of the best at remembering things, not just because of his observant nature and understanding of timelines... but because he's trained himself to remember them as well. But that's a story for another time.

But I'm glad you really liked my cover of Tears In the Rain!! Ever since I heard the song I always thought it was a really fitting scene for Willo and Sans in general, but there wasn't really any calmer versions of it, so I tried making my own... which, I'm not really the best musician (or at all trained either), so I was definitely pretty nervous it would stick out ;w; but I'm glad you thought it flowed really well!!

Asriel's battle themes are also a couple of my favorites. I didn't make those obviously (you can listen to them here, here, and here!), but I spent a fair while looking for something to give me a really similar feeling to hearing "Hopes and Dreams" for the first time. I've... actually been pretty particular of most of the music 😅 I really think the right music at the right time can change the whole mood of a scene.
