Just curious, but do you have any designs or ideas of Tiramisu/Mochi's mum's old Coven? I know you mentioned that one of them was something of a father figure to Mochi

actually not yet!!!! sometimes i think about young tiramisu and magg-lynn but i never got around to formally designing them...

and youre right there is someone in tiramisus past that is STRONGLY hinted to be mochis dad!! though in the latest version in my head hes actually from (and is still in) the snakes guild. i havent decided what he is to the snake witch yet, either a family member or a close family friend, but either way had obligations to them and couldnt be with tiramisu (but hes the one...tiramisu loved him and still loves him and hence never found another man to marry and raised mochi on her own)

all that is still in beta anyway, but i think it would be neat to have a guy show up from the desert region and has the exact same hair color as mochi

Mel was such a startling surprise this season and I LOVE IT. I too wondered about the healing thing, though not in context to herself, so thank you for prodding my brain. I had wondered if she doesn't do something to help Caitlyn's life after the fight, as her wounds were terrible AND she'd had the shit kicked out of her. New to being a mage, perhaps she could only do triage level healing, but in a great many people's cases, that could have been enough.

Shes choking here mind you, she's being choked, you can literally hear it, air being almost impossible to breathe in, yet she STILL reaches out for Elora, screaming for her and trying to get to her, she's not scared for herself at this moment. She just didn't want to lose her close friend.

Do you know how painful it is to scream without having enough air in your lungs?? You can hear the raw, brutal and burn of her voice.

and y'all were a little too quick to judge on why Mel slammed "kino"s face into the wall. No she's not becoming violent, the foe killed her brother and Elora, that's the least insane thing she could do at that moment.

And this poor woman hello??? I'm still not over all these frames.

The fact that she was panicked from DRIPPING WATER just makes me wonder how painful it really was, the torture she'd been through this entire episode was insane. I'm surprised we haven't seen her bruise or bleed at all throughout the entire season, makes me wonder if she has healing abilities.

What kills me the most is that even after being hurt both emotionally AND physically, she still thinks of others rather than herself, she only ever started worrying after she woke up, she was scared, panicking, yet she never speaks of her pains, she was upset over the death of Elora. That's all she thought of, not the horrors of being grabbed, but the horrors of being unable to move and do anything within her abilities to save her friend.

She'd always been like this, ever since the death of that unnamed girl that hangs over her head, death haunts her, that's the price of having been blessed by kindred apparently.

I didn't know Chen Lijun before watching this year, but I'm incredibly grateful I do now. She is insanely talented (and disciplined), and I adore everything about her.

Though she is known for her expertise in classical art forms through her Yue Opera training, she has shown the ability to also take on modern genres. Whenever she’s on stage, she exhibits an amazing amount of grace that is both strong and soft, handsome and elegant, masculine and feminine. It’s such a pleasure to watch.

Note: Ride the Wind (formerly known as Sisters who make Waves) is a Chinese competition show that invites 30+ established female artists from across the entertainment industry to perform as girl groups. CLJ is a Yue Opera artist: a traditional form of theatre that combines acting, singing, dancing and martial arts.
