I'm not like necessarily against breeding and owning purebred cats like from an ethical standpoint but I don't really... get it.
#like purebred dogs i 100% understand#just bc theyre bred for such specific things and theres so much variation between them#that they allow you to really find a dog that suits your lifestyle#but... a cat is a cat#not they dont have different personalities or even that certain breeds dont behave in certain ways#its just that like. youre never going to get a cat is purpose-bred for a particular task.#certain cat breeds may be like more/less outgoing or higher/lower energy but i dont think its a signficiant enough difference#to justify buying a purebred vs just getting a shelter cat#< FOR ME personally im not judging ppl with purebred cats idc#txt
