Y'ALL I FOUND THE MOST CRAZY THEORY.
So i was sliding through TikTok and a user made an edit in which Cersei talked to Catherine about a child of Robert that she lost due to a fever. Well... What would happen if that child is Gendry.... I know, i know, it's crazy but if whe stop to think about it, it makes a lot of sense (obviously this theory will be factible only on the series, because in the books for now, we don't know if Cersei had at one time a child of Robert). But I think this could be the type of surprise plot twist that George RR Martin do.

Game of Thrones Rant S8
*surprise surprise there’s spoilers below*
Alrighty everyone let’s talk about tonight’s bullshit episode 👏🏻
I’m feeling like a numbered list suites tonight best so we can keep track of all the fuck ups (that I can remember cause there’s bound to be more than what I noticed).
[1] Varys died-We all saw this coming because the Red woman mentioned that neither of them would live but damn I did not expect Dani to use the infamous ‘death by Drogon’. Tyrion...their friendship made him being honest with Dani about the betrayal feel so wrong. Varys trusted Tyrion with his honest opinion since the two had grown so damn close and he just died in a snap after calling Tyrion an “old friend” and all he got was a weak ass arm hold and no words???? Granted Tyrion was on thin ice but cmon, that friendship deserved more.
[2] Jaime and (I refuse to say his name) horny fish man fight and JAIME gets THAT injured?!?! Fish man is meant for the sea, and while he is at least a decent fighter and Jaime has to use his non-dominant hand they didn’t give Jaime a whole lot of credit for his skills there. Fish man made it look way too easy to beat Jaime who fought WHITE WALKERS and lived to tell the story about it. But fish man managed to nearly kill him...doesn’t add up to me.
[3] Dani Dani Dani, D&D did you so dirty. First off there’s no way her ONE dragon managed to do all that damage NO INJURIES while the last one was killed so easily by the spears. That was so far fetched. No consistency there. But they finally showed the real ass Dani has gone Mad Queen card. I think a lot of us thought she’d murder innocents but hoped she wouldn’t and if she did then she wouldn’t to the extent she did. The Queen we came to love went against her own character ideals. She killed innocent people, which she always wished to protect, instead of just going straight for the castle where Cersie would be. Dani would NEVER, especially with the spear threat gone, there was literally no reason to kill all those people and put her own troops at risk. She’s going through grief and anger but I still stand by the belief that her character wouldn’t do that and it was purely done for shock value &/or plot convenience. Yes Dani has made questionable moves and had a hard time but NOTHING justifies how off color her character was in this episode.
[4] They really made Sandors brother THAT invincible :/ I figured the fight would end in a mutual death but I’d hoped they’d be more evenly matched and it wasn’t even close. Sandor did not get the revenge he fucking deserved and I’m pissed he had to jump into FIRE of all things just to kill his brother. The knife to the head should’ve done SOMETHING at least. You can’t make someone that OP 🤦♀️ But I’m so glad he convinced Arya to leave, the only good thing tbh cause he’s the only one who could even hope to talk her out of it. It’s kinda like he knew he could get her to leave but wanted her to be with him until his end.
[5] Jaime’s character development was flushed down the 🚽. I really hate that he went back for Cersie and they alluded to them dying together getting crushed by rocks. There was speculation that Jaime would possibly kill or help kill Cersie and that he left Brienne the shitty way he did to make sure she didn’t follow while he went to kill the queen but NOPE! The ship got to fuck and then he broke Brienne’s heart to go back to the woman he finally got to detach himself from. IT MAKES NO SENSE! Brienne brought out the best in him, Cersie brought out the worst. He acted like he’d moved on and I’m just so mad they made him default back to a version of his old self. All that hard work on his arc for nothing just like Dani.
[6] Jon, my son, you’re smarter than this. I know he’s blinded by love and by the fear of being king but seriously how could he not try to stand up to Dani before things went to shit. He’s been a puppet who can only mutter “she’s my queen” and in regards to the throne “I don’t want it”. At the end of the episode you can tell he’s changing his mind about Dani (how tf could he not at that point) but it’s crazy to me that he couldn’t face it before seeing the massive consequences.
[7] They really let all the non-white people go head first into battle AGAIN! Again I repeat. Both against the white walkers and Cersie all the white folk went in comfortably after the characters of color and were painted in a more calm state of mind (minus the unsullied because..well..they’re always ‘calm’). Writers..we aren’t gonna let that slide 🙃 especially since the Dothraki were the ones seen on horseback murdering innocents running around and raping people, meanwhile Grey Worm is depicted as leading the charge against the soldiers who surrendered cause they knew they lost. MAKING EVERYONE WHO ISNT WHITE AN ASSHOLE. Then they show Jon (who, if you didn’t know-is a white male) stabbing a soldier and saving a woman from being raped (no one else is shown doing this, just the goody two shoes white boy-Who yes I know he has a golden heart and his character WOULD do that but it would’ve been nice to see OTHER people saying Fuck This to Dani’s rampage since it was clearly insane and wrong).
And thats it folks, this has been my TED talk. I’m POSITIVE I missed some shit and I’ll be mad about it later but peace out for now, I’m gonna go be upset in a corner somewhere rewriting GoT in a fanfic doing all the characters and their arcs justice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Time to say shit everyone's already said,
Game of thrones season 8 was incredibly underwhelming. Lots of people have already said this but I'm going to go through my points on why the final season was so disappointing.
To start off this dumpster fire I will talk about the highest assassination of character in the form of daenerys. Daenerys is the character who's brutal murder of character is the most obvious to the viewer. The first problem that automatically becomes clear to me at least is the care she shows for her dragons. Her dragons are her children. She views them as her children and she believes they are the only children she can ever have, but she has no reaction to having to fight the corpse of her child. Remember when her dragons were stolen and she was horrified by even the prospect of them being in danger? But when having to fight the reanimated corpse of one of them she is almost unfazed? They should've at the very least shown her being hesitant to attack and try to reason with it to no avail. Okay onto the whole queen of the ashes thing, there wasn't enough time for this transition in character. I'm not even saying you can't make daenerys go crazy. You can reasonably make her character go in that direction and not make it feel forced, but you need to have reasonable development to get her to that place. As example of a villain in got where you can clearly see how they got like that I will use cersie. With cersie you can understand how she got like that, with tywin's parenting, an arranged marriage with no love, losing her children. You can understand why she acts the way she does. Why dose she fuck Jaime? Cause he's the person that's always there for her and she can trust him. Why is she protective over her children? Becouse she was taken away and practically sold to Robert and felt like property. She dosent want to see that happen to her children and she does love her children. You can understand her motivations, but with daenerys it's basically the northerners liked the northerners more than her and they killed mellisandei and her other dragon. That's it. That's all they show to make her crack? In the course of like 2 episodes no less. She's fine one minute then the next she's burning thousands of innocents. If they just took their time then it could've made sense. If they didn't feel the need to rush and shorten the end we wouldn't be here.
Jon's whole character is rendered completely useless. Jon did barely anything this whole season except say "she's my queen," and, "I don't want it," Jon does nothing which is extremely strange to see cause for the majority of the story him and daenerys are the main characters (there are alot of main characters I mean central characters) jon feels useless to the narrative which helps in this season feeling off. Jon feels like he has nothing to do which makes him seem bland and pointless. Not to mention how rushed him and daenerys' relationship is. Contrast his relationship with daenerys to his relationship with ygritte. With ygritte it feels more natural and fun, they play off eachother more and have way more chemistry. Again not to say you cant make daenerys and jon work. You can if you GIVE IT TIME. So many of these problems would be solved with more time to flesh things out.
So I guess it's time for me to talk about the night king. Arya shouldn't have killed the night king. And if they really had no other choice they could've at least made it affect arya in the slightest bit. Like at all. She killed the night king and just didn't care. People only moderately even mention it. They could've maded it so that people were swarming her at the celebration which made her uncomftorble so she snuck out. But I think it would be much better if bran killed the night king. Like imagine if bran warged into the night king and then destroyed him without even lifting a finger. Or imagine bran kept warging into different animals and attacking the night king to slow him down and distract him from someone else actually killing him, then you could even still have arya actually kill him, bran would just actually be doing anything. Personally I like the idea of bran warging into the night king and destroying him from the inside out. Also if bran kills the night king you have a better reason to make him king. Give me a reason why anyone other than the starks would be fine with bran being king? They didn't even question it, just sorta yeah I guess this crippled 18 year old can control the entire 7 kingdoms. Oh and then the north gets independence? Which if the north was given independence then you know the ironborn would be like, "umm we'd like independence?" And then everyone else would want independence too. Like you cant just have one kingdom leave and have no issues. Like how fast do you think the ironborn will start a revolution?
Time to mention some small things that irked me. First, yeah gendry being king of storms end is cool and he is sorta the only even sorta baratheon left but like he can't read. That's not even a joke. He actually probably can't read. He said he barely knows how to use a fork. He's not gonna know how to be a king. Okay second, DAENERYS STRAIGHT UP USED JORAH AS A FUCKING HUMAN SHEILD. Third I think Jamie should've died at the battle at winterfell protecting brienne or stayed with brienne. It litterily made zero sense for him to leave. He made fun of the fact that he was fucking his sister! Fourth, why did they tell the unsolied to start their own house? They-they're all castrated... They can't start a house? Fifth, more people should've died at the battle of winterfell. It just felt like sorta a let down. You could barely see anything and not enough important characters died. Sixth, uhh Jon was sent to the wall as a punishment but then he just sorta left with the wildlings? How is that a punnishment?
So... uhh... in conclusion to this mess of a post season 8 of game of thrones felt like they had an idea of where they wanted to go then when it was too late to turn back they were told they had to go in a completely different direction. It was rushed and sloppy and needed more time to breath and develop characters, thus leading to the anger generated towards it.
#game of thrones#daenerys targeryan#jon snow#also the whole jon being a targeryan barely amounted to anything#anti d&d#arya stark#gendry baratheon#gendry waters#i didnt even mention tyrion#cersie lannister#jaimie lannister#bran stark#the three eyed raven#the night king#got#got season 8#i didnt even mention everything#im mad#and the longer i sit on it the more angry i become#nothing bonds people quite like screaming about got season 8 in the kitchen#im like genuinely mad#the more i think about it the angier i get#i didnt even go into how mad i am that arya's asassin skills barely get used#the early seasons were so good#and thinking about that makes me mad

Game of Thrones Finale
Here be spoilers for the last season of GoT. Turn back now or forever hold you peace. Trust me, I am not holding my peace, I feel like going to war and breaking a bloody wheel over the back of D&D’s heads.
I knew going in, this wasn’t the ending I had been hoping for, or even expecting for nine years. After the penultimate episode the writing was clearly on the wall, so I watched this final chapter, ready for crushing disappointment and grief. D&D did not let me down.
They completed their character assassination of Daenerys with all the clumsy, lazy, pretension and dreadfully written dialogue as one might have come to expect, if they had been paying attention since the start of the season.
When left to flounder in the seas of uncertainty without the masterfully crafted scaffolding of GRRM’s books to hold them afloat, the writers sunk the whole thing gleefully. I’m absolutely certain they took great pleasure in destroying every logical expectation.
This constant need to justify their own twisted ending and eradicate certain characters development and arcs, left me feeling bewildered and horrified. The beautiful woven foreshadowing that had been building since season one seemed to be cast aside at the last and replaced with some Frankenstein monster, cobbled together from a need to be “different” to “surprise”, to be “edgy” and “subversive”.
This isn’t how good writing is done. You don’t change the track of a story just because it’s deemed predictable or because fans guessed the ending.
The onus then, is on the writer, to follow through and complete the story while still making it enjoyable and intriguing. It isn’t to upturn the apple-cart and refill with limes. It’s to take the damn apples and make pie. Make it interesting, draw the audience in, there is nothing wrong with giving the audience what they want. There is nothing wrong with delivering a satisfying and sensible conclusion. There is nothing wrong with giving the main character/s a happy ending.
Their fear of cliche, lead them straight into trope hell. The “face heel turn” of Daenerys from Liberator and Mother to Tyrant and Murderer was sloppy, poorly written and did not have a justifiable history to back it up.
Do not even get me started on how they killed her. JFC. Could they have been anymore obvious about how that was gong to go down? Talk about cliche.
Murdered by the man she loves, who loves her and who is also her only family. We’ll talk later about what they did to poor Jon. Just for reminders sake though, here she is, held in the arms of the man she loves as he promises her she will always be his queen, kisses her and stabs her right in the heart. **blood boiling**
Turing Sansa into Littlefinger 2.0 made my inner rage monster scream. Her transformation from the “The High Queen” to “The Chess-master” makes me think the North isn’t in any better hands than it would have been with Littlefinger in charge. How convenient that none of her siblings will be nearby to notice. Bran in the south, Jon in the True North and for some inexplicable reason, the girl who spent eight season finding her way home, decides to go gallivanting off into the west on some LotR, knock off elf quest.
Arya’s end is as unsatisfying as every other one. She spent years growing stronger, learning to kill, striving to be No-one. Her whole character arc was about her coming to terms with her loss and recognising that no matter how far she ran, she would always be Arya Stark.
Then is was her journey home, learning that she could go back, that even changed by war and blood, family meant everything. Her clarion call, that the “lone wolf dies but the pack survives” has been with her every step. It’s the message her father taught her, one she held too. Why on earth would she leave her pack behind?
What even was the point of having her and Gendry meet again and come together if she was just going to walk away? I’m not saying a character has to be defined by a romantic relationship, but why bother giving the fans a few crumbs just to spit on it an episode later? This is clearly baiting of the worst kind. I’d rather they met as friends and parted as friends than the shit show of having Gendry propose, only for her turn him down. I mean, she could have learned another lesson with the Hound, that defining your life by revenge and forgetting to live only ends in death. Her returning to Gendry after that would have made sense. It would have made sense for her to go build a pack of her own. But no, that would be too easy. What shall we do with Arya? Lets put her on a bus!
He did love her. Jon was crazy about Dany. She was crazy about him. This is the man who puts family first, who lives by his honour. He is his Uncle Ned come again. Ned, who lived and died by his oaths. The only time he broke them was to protect his sisters son, to protect Jon, his family.
This is why they had to destroy Daenery’s character so completely. They had to make her the worst villain imaginable to make it look even remotely plausible that Jon would;
1. Break his oath of fealty
2. Murder his own blood.
3. Betray the love of his life.
They had to preserve Jon’s good name, oh yes, because Jon wouldn’t kill her for power or because she lost her temper and disagreed with him. No. They destroyed both Jon and Dany with this plot.
Jon is now Queen Slayer and Kin Slayer and he has broken his word, his oaths of loyalty, his unspoken oaths of love and protection, which she rightly expected from him as her blood and her lover and has been reduced to a shadow of the man he was meant to be, the king he could have been.
He is cursed by the gods in the eyes of most Westerosi, or he would be if they knew the truth. After all, look at how the nobility treated Jaimie after he killed the Mad King. It didn’t matter to them that the King was evil, no, what mattered was that he broke his oath.
Oath breakers are anathema in Westeros.
So much for a Targaryen Restoration. Goodbye Iron Throne. The whole point of Jon’s character was just erased. Did he defeat some great evil? No. Did he overcome war and death and end triumphant on the throne as the last dragon? No. There was no point in bringing him back after his death in season six. Anyone could have went to bargain with Dany and the outcome would have been the same. Ugh!
Jaime and Brienne. The love story/redemption arc I was so invested in. One hand gives and the other takes away. In the end it seems that Jaime learned nothing, according to the writers that is. I call bullshit. Jaime had redeemed himself. If he had to die, it should have bee while killing Cersei. The foreshadowing of him being Cersei’s death has been around for years. Cersi didn’t love Jaime, she loved controlling him. Cersei loved no one but herself. That was the lesson Jaime was meant to learn. Thanks so much for taking away eight season of character development and self realisation.
Tyrion got shafted too. His speech near the end, it was a load of cow dung. In the end they left Tyrion to be Westeros’ own comic relief. The Small Council was a bloody farce. All that scene did was reinforce my belief that nothing in Westeros has really changed. It doesn’t matter what title you give someone, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Give it ten years and Bron will be the power in Westeros in all but name.
Now who have I forgotten? Ah yes. My Special Mention.
Sandor went out the way he meant to, bringing an end to his brother. But not before the writers gave him a brief moment with Sansa. There you go Sansan fans, he called her little bird! Now shut up and let us kill him in a fiery fall of doom.
Death by fire, the worst death they could give this man. He wasn’t a good man, it’s arguable that none of the characters were good people. However, Sandor Clegane suffered more than most. He spent his life, angry and bitter, seeking revenge for himself and his sister and father. I think, if they had to kill him, they could have given the man a better exit than him tossing both himself and his brother into the flames. It was cruel to make that the only way out, the only triumph he could claim. I think Sandor should have lived. He deserved to find a life of peace after all the fighting he did. It is not poetic or clever to kill a character off with the object of their own fear. It’s not clever when they do it to a villain, it’s doubly unfair to do it to a hero. He was a hero by the end. Sandor deserved better.
Now look, I‘m not saying that in a show like this, that everybody should live or necessarily get the end they deserve, but, they went too far in the name of shock value, leaving no one happy, well, virtually no one. I guess the rabid Sansa fans who loathed Dany are feeling pretty good about now.
(Yes, okay that was mean, but I got sick of seeing it in my timeline and unfollowed a few people.)
I was always very much of the belief that Sansa and Dany had more in common than would drive them apart. I didn’t expect an easy friendship or alliance, but I did expect them to find common ground and be able to build a relationship over time. Strong women supporting each other is what we need more of on TV. Not this misogynistic desire to see two strong women fight over a man, which is essentially what they reduced Sansa and Dany too with poor Jon caught in the middle.
In conclusion...
I feel as though the writers went into season eight with a clear idea of where they had been building and then someone get a bee in their bonnet and posed the question, “Who is the least likely to end up ruling Westeros?”
The answer of course is Bran. Bran the Broken, how fucking ignorant is that? How about Bran the Burdened or Bran the Broker or Bran the Benevolent, if you’ve really got such a hard on for alliteration?
So now Bran, who is so disconnected from feeling that he can’t love anyone, sits the Iron Throne and is somehow meant to be a good ruler.
All that’s needed to achieve this happy ending for the writers?
Goodbye Character development and epic love stories, hello smear campaign, death, destruction and the end of one of my favourite canon ships to ever sail.
Rest in Peace Jonarys. I believed in you.

Here’s my take on how they fucked up character writing in season 8
spoilers below the cut
The Night King:
Starting here because there's the least to say about him. Why? Well that would be because he was barely in it. The series OPENS with him. He's death incarnate, the biggest threat, and what was supposed to be the great unifying factor. The thing that stops the squabble for the Throne to make everyone come together for the biggest battle of all. And then they kill him. In the first battle they fought him in. Ruining almost a decade of build up. This was where the season became irrideemably bad. There is no fixing this. You don't kill a magical king from thousands of years of threats and then be like "wow now the real threat....DrUnK LaDy iN cAsTLe. The Big Bad of the series had less of an impact that fucking Joffery or Ramsey Bolton. The south doesn't even know he exists. What the fuck.
Jon Snow:
Jon's ENTIRE character is written about the Night king and Martyrdom. Just hear me out. Jon never wanted to be Lord Commander, King, Lord of Winterfell, anything like that. His ENTIRE motivation as a character was about saving humanity from the Night King at any cost. Why? That is because the Night King is the biggest threat here. Like I understand we are all entitled to opinions but this is pretty objective. He's like the global warming of Westeros. This is why we see Jon running past Sam and other close characters to get to Bran. He isn't being a coward. He knows this is beyond him and his family and friends. The world is at stake. Jon should have died with the Night King. That is where is character arc should conclude but since they killed him so stupidly early, he outlives what he should and becomes a complete and utter dumbass. He just swoons for Daenarys (and I'mma touch on her in a second) and ignores his SISTER's warnings, and when Dany had completely lost it, his dumbass is over here like "I mean she queen and also hot so it's her choice to be a tyrant ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ " What the FUCK. He doesn't even decide to kill her until Tyrion is like "Bruh she is gonna fucking kill your sisters." and even then he fucking hesitates. Jon went from being a character that had a role to fill and meaning to being "HEY GUYS THIS IS THE MAIN CHARACTER!!!" and it absolutely destroyed him.
Daenerys:
Alright so I know this is gonna be an unpopular opinion but just hear me out on this one. Dany was always gonna go crazy. People have been loosing it over this and I feel like this was the only thing they did right, but just hear out my reasoning. The Targaryans are horribly horribly inbred. This means that it's not like Dany is 50% her mother's genes and 50% her father's. Both her grandparents and parents were brother and sister, and there's incest all up that family tree too. There wasn't a 50% chance that she was gonna go crazy, it was basically a guarantee. Now the way the show writers did it was absolutely nonsensical. NO she didn't go crazy when she witnessed her brother's death. He was her abuser and sold her basically into slavery. Nonononono. We didn't see the Targaryan madness in here until season 7ish or so. She gets paranoid, starts questioning Tyrion. Now in Season 8, however. She apparently watches 2/3 of her children die, Jorah dies, she's under all this stress and she's fine but then Messandi dies and she snaps? I understand they were close but she sees the dragons as her children and watched them both die horribly, including one being brought back from the dead????? That would have been the 'breaking point'. And even if she went crazy WHY THE FUCK would she burn down the red keep if that has the throne she wants so bad??? Honestly Dany fans have every right to be the most pissed about this. Ultimately she was destroyed the second she met Jon Snow because at that moment, she wasn't Daenerys anymore, she was "Main character's love interest, but make it edgy." She even said how she loved Daario and left him and felt nothing but then she meets Jon and is like "oo he hot tho" like dude no. Women are not fucking dumb. Dany would have never done that. Like in episode I think 5 when she's like "Oh I've never begged before but I'm begging you Jon, don't tell anyone~" bitch NOOOOO. She would have never never never never never done that. Did the writers rail cocaine before writing this? Like yes, she got shafted in writing and it's probably due to sexism with the love interest stuff, but it's not because she went crazy. He character was ruined long before that.
Jorah Mormont:
This one pisses me off the most. They killed him for fodder at the Battle for Winterfell. But hey, he's not Jon so who needs him, right??! So let me explain this one. Jorah's character arc is about his pledge to Dany, right? He needed to live long enough to see her go mad. That was literally the point of his character. What the fuck was it all worth including him?
Grey Worm:
"Dany went crazy so also I guess I will by association." I mean fuck him as an individual character I guess????
Tyrion Lannister:
He's just fucking dumb now. He's fucking dumb there is no "drinking and Knowing things" he knows nothing he has no idea what he's doing, that was the entire point of his character too.
Jaime Lannister:
Okay so I'm a little on the fence with him, not gonna lie. On one hand I do agree, it felt like all of his character progression was for nothing. But On the other hand, he was always a dynamic character and going back and forth from Cersie and redeeming himself, and in the end, it was Cersie. I honestly don't hate this. A story doesn't have to end happy to be good. His was a tragedy, and his love for Cersie killed him. That's not a bad ending for who his character was, BUT they handled it horribly, and made Brienne of Tarth a fucking damsel in distress to aid his story. So I'll leave that there.

Being angry that the show didn't go the way you wanted it to doesn't mean the episode was bad?????? It was a great episode with so much fucking, symbolism?? And emotion??? Sansa's foreshadowing had me screaming????? The many faced god is literally doing everything in his power to keep Arya alive because she's gonna need to kill the mad queen?????
I don't understand why everyone's so mad like... Not every death needs to be revenge-y, drawn out, and violent to be meaningful.
Sandor died in by throwing hisself and his brother into FIRE.
Cersi and Jamie died selfishly. They died together, like how they were born, and with literally the whole kingdom falling onto them. Because they couldn't rule it! Because they failed it! It came falling down on them!!
SANDOR FELL INTO FIRE
The mother and child died directly in the dragons flame, with the girl clutching her white horse toy, burnt and bloody, and Arya feels this personally affect her. She rides a bloody and burnt white horse off through the fire and "snow", probably off to fight Dany. The many faced god still had need of her
SaNdOr DiEd iN FiRe
John literally kills his own men and tries to stop them because no, this isn't right, and this was the greatest mistake, because everyone else was right.
How could nobody see that Dany was crazy when so many people were screaming SHES CRAZY!! As they were burned to death??????
Again, we all fell in love with what we wanted Dany to be, not who she really was.
#spoilers#game of thrones spoilers#im so ANGRY because i thought it was fitting and good#but everyone just wanted dany to win even if she is a tyrant??

Game of Thrones Rewatch
Season 2, Episode 7: A Man Without Honor
1. i always wonder why they kept the stag on that one gear in kings landing. the baratheons dont control it anymore...unless they are foreshadowing hat gendry will be sitting on the iron throne since he is the only baratheon left--that we are aware of
2. where was theon sleeping? i doubt he was sleeping in his old bed chambers
3. oh man theon has really had some crazy eyes before he puncehd that guy
4. it’s interesting that theon is enjoying the hurt now but wont be later
5. “it’s all just a game”...yeah, a game of thrones :O
6. damn, bran knows theon pretty well
7. man, this scenery is beautiful
8. ygritte is pretty good at reading jon right away...and succeeding at getting under his skin
9. i love the banter of her being a free woman but not really being a free woman if she is his prisoner
10. i cant help but thunk that the whole this “land is my and but not your land” discussion reminds me of the whole takeover of native american lands back int the day
11. good question--why are they fighting?
12. the actor who plays the new mountain has a good intimidating voice--but i am still glad they recasted him later
13. i looooooooove the shot when tywin looks at arya when she asks him if he has ever lost a war--SUUUUUCH a great close up shot
14. i think thats why tywin likes arya...because she reminds him of cersei
15. it’s nice to see tywin warm and affectionate but firm and not always hard like how we see him when he gets to kings landing
16. yeeeeees tywin, teach her the game of faces!
17. if there was nothing in the vault, then what was xaro planning on doing with dany if he convinced her to go see it?
18. “a man who is others say he is” makes sense
19. i always forget that mance was a member of the night’s watch
20. “you know nuthin’ jon snowwww” ho! she said it! now we can add that phrase to the repeated phrase drinking game
21. “theyre not my enemies” true true
22. what medical benefit does oil of roses have?
23. damn you robb and your love...stop trying to impress talisa
24. guess what, theon, you WILL be seen as a fool and a eunich by your own people...even if you did succeed in finding bran and rincon
25. i think id much rather be seen as weak than cruel. i wouldnt want to choose but i could still be weak and nice.
26. what did that guy find? must consult GOT wiki page
27. i honestly forgot that jorah left to go find a ship
28. good question: why are dany’s people
29. i wish dany had emoted her disbelief better about not believing that the people of westeros were celebrating visery’s return because she looks so naive and airhead in season 1 during that scene
30. i mean that is one way to distract someone
31. i still think that the handmaiden was the one who told cersei that sansa got her period
32. similar to tywin, it is nice seeing cersie being nice toward sansa and not so manipulative; it does reinforce that her only redeeming quality she has is her love for her children
33. i would really be surprised if sansa got married later on
34. young jaime is such a douche
35. he has a good sense of humor though
36. it is true...jaime is pretty useless without his abliity to fight well
37. damn...jaime hit that guy 9 times...thats soo much
38. i always forget that that’s how jaime escapes
39. jorah is like “how the FUCK did you know that i betrayed her before?”
40. what the heck is she tattooing on his back? what religious purpose does that serve?
41. but yay for man buttt
42. xaro subtext: the city opened for me, and so will you
43. bro, you look like you live in the house of the undying
44. so thats what lord carstark looks like?
45. honestly though, there are too many tertiary characters in this show”
46. i do love how jaime realizes that cat is more wolf than fish..good personality comparison
47. rain from above” aka wildfire?
48. at least tyrion admits when he is wrong
49. ugh i also do like the brief moment of hoensty between tyrion and cersei....i hope we can see that again in the future
50. jaime isnt wrong through...he is pretty honorable
51. cat...if only you could have resisted jaime baiting you
52. theon’s look “what have i done!?!”

Hey Court, what's your thoughts on tonight's episode of game of thrones.
hey! i have a few
1 // Arya is SO BADASS. i knew she was pretending to be Walder Frey way before she pulled her mask off. my suspicions were made stronger when she saved that servant girl from drinking the poisonous wine and when she went on about the details of who those men killed, i was like ARYA I SEE YOU GIRL!
2 // Ed Sheerens little guest appearance. if my memory serves me correctly, that was the only good singing i’ve heard on the show but they could’ve found someone else to do it. to be quite honest, i didnt recognize who he was until my sister was like ‘ED SHEEREN??!” they better not make cameos a habit. no more famous randoms please! it’s distracting. like throwing Usher into The Walking Dead or something
3 // Jon and Sansa. i’m glad they’re back ruling Winterfell (much thanks to Lady Mormont!). i think Jon was right to let bygones be bygones and let those ppl keep their land. past grievances don’t matter bc WINTER IS HERE. and when he said everyone including the women and girls should band together i was like good call. he’s a good leader. random reminder: he’s also a Targaryen! presumably!
4 // Little Finger needs to keep his looks and his thoughts to himself !!!
5 // Lady Mormont. the little girl queen. i’m a big fan of her. she takes no shit from anyone and like i said, her support put Jon back on the throne. her line “i don’t plan on knitting by the fire while the men fight for me” killed me lol. yes girl tell em!
6 // Cersi and Jamie. Jamie brought up a good point when he was basically like who are we fighting for? all their children are dead and if Cersi were to stay on the iron throne, that would be it for the Lannisters anyway. all that fighting for FOR WHAT? also, she’s crazy as hell. i have a feeling Jamie is going to the younger brother that kills her. not Tyrion. only time will tell
7 // Samwells montage was funny. idk why the hell he waited so long to steal those keys and do what he went there to do though. time is of the essence! and WINTER IS FUCKING HERE
8 // Jorah and Sam meeting! Samwell found out where to find a lot of dragon glass and thats good for so many reasons. one being that dragon glass is said to have crazy healing powers and maybe he’ll be able to heal Jorah ???
9 // i wish i got to see more of Dany but thats how i feel after every single episode. i’m glad she landed safety and got straight to business

✨ Spoiler Warning ✨
🌸💕🌻💖💜🦋💛🌼
Season Finale feelings. A lot of people hated it but I didn’t mind it. Mostly because I didn’t think the it was gonna be too original. There was no good way to end the show. There never is. Which is also why I don’t believe the ending to SPN will be remarkable either. Ending a show so many love is hard and you can’t please everyone. And so often show writers try. They give you too much to appease everyone. Every person gets a piece of something. But that doesn’t work when it doesn’t weave together by the time the credits roll. So many shows go the route of showing everyone’s fate. So I thought it was a fine ending. Not a actual terrible one like HIMYM.
✨🌙🌻💛
Now let’s talk about what happened in the episode.
Bran is the ultimate player in the game of thrones and one of the most manipulative and here’s why. He seen it all falling together in his favor and he didn’t stop an entire city being burned to the ground. He didn’t send a raven. He didn’t try and keep Dany from getting to this point. He seen it all played along. In the beginning he’s told he’s gonna be Robs banner man in the future. That’s his life’s work. And in the end he’s the king of the seven kingdoms.
Also I loved Sansas end. She deserved to be queen. I thought she was gonna be queen of the seven kingdoms but she still got it. And her dress was so beautiful. Just how she likes it.
Bron got his castle finally. Fuck yes. And Kingslanding is going to have a better sewer system. They are going to not rebuild the city but make it better. Which is great. See if it ended with that I’d have been happy with it all. They should have shown Jons part before that so it ended on the small council and the game of thrones never ending.
Now Jon being a wildling was the best ending for him. We all know Bran knew what he was doing. That’s what Jon had always wanted in the first place. Being among the wildlings had always felt more like home than anywhere else for him. He was told he wasn’t a bastard and yet it didn’t wash off the years of being treated like one . He still didn’t feel like he was worthy of anything through it all. But he felt like he was worthy with the wildlings because they don’t see life like that. They don’t label people that way. They just live. They are free of all of that and that’s what he deserves. To live a life of non judgement. There was no one at Castle Black. He was sent to a free life. No one was mad other than Greyworm.
Finally let’s get to Dany. You watch this show and watch the Rise and fall of two women playing the game of thrones. Dany and Cersi. Both going mad with power but in different ways. In the end Jon stabbing Dany was the only way. Her views on what’s just was crazy and the world didn’t need that. There was no talking her down and she was way too powerful. So sadly she had to be put down.
Drogon. His emotions were wild. I thought we were gonna be shown that Jon was a true dragon as well. But he didn’t try and kill Jon. He melted the throne in representation that he was mad that she died for it. My boyfriend thinks Drogon is a rebirth of Khal Drogo. But let’s be honest here Drogo wouldn’t watch his beloved have sex with someone else. But I like that Drogon has a personality.
Also Wolf got his pets.. finally.

S7, E3 (continued rant)
Why the fuck did Dany's people get overthrown so easily? It kinda proves Tyrion right about a foreigner trying to invade a land they're unfamiliar with.
Man. It was hard seeing Yara captured while that piece of shit Theon escaped with his life.
The best thing about it, though, was seeing Jaime humiliated by Euron. I haven't forgiven him for being a shitty human being and I don't get why other fans have.
Then Cersi rapes her brother later . . . And they showed Jaime's ass? Well. At least they're taking steps toward equality. . . . Man gets raped while drunk, man shows ass = win/win! (In case you're that dense, I'm being sarcastic)
And they used the Sand Snakes to make us hate Cersi more . . .
. . . ugh.
Brown women are never allowed to weild power or . . . win. At anything in Game of Thrones. Ever. Brown women are just plot devices.
A brown woman would never get ot be Cersi or Dany. No. We are always Misandei or Ellaria or Namless Background Token #5. Regulated to the sidelines, used to make all the white women more interesting.
What hurts the most is knowing that the books are vastly different. D&D just don't give a fuck.
That aside, it was finally great to see Dany and Jon Snow -- the story's leading protagonists -- finally meet, fire and ice coming together.
Dany thought Jon Snow was crazy for going on about White Walkers, meanwhile, she's got THREE FUCKING DRAGONS.
I was glad when the episode addressed the absurdity of her acting like Jon Snow was nuts.
It was heartbreaking seeing Sansa reunited with Bran. From her perspective, Bran must be out of his fucking mind. Becoming the Three-eyed Raven totally changed him. He's a total robot now. When he saw Sansa, he barely had a reaction.
And yeah. I take back what I said about Bran being the only smart Stark. He's actually pretty dumb. His meddling with the past is why Hodor lost his mind and also probably why the Mad King went mad.
Bran is responsible for tearing apart his own world. Which is why I can't imagine why he would be chosen to become the new Three-eyed Raven. He's dumb and destructive and has a propensity for destroying himself and everyone around him, just like all the Starks. This was something the original Three-eyed Raven knew but chose Bran anyway?
Maybe he didn't really choose him. Maybe that's just the way it played out and he knew he had no choice but to embrace it.
"Give me ten good men and I'll impregnate the bitch"
That was gross, Tyrion. But why not use raping a woman as an analogy for invading a fortress? Women are castles. Why not?
And then all those Unsullied running through a tunnel that is symbolic of a woman's vagina being flooded with sperm . . . yeah, that was weird imagery I didn't need. (I can't wait til this season is over and I can fully abandon this blog.)
After hoping that Yara, Ellaria, and Olenna would not fail miserbly in my last few posts, you can imagine that this episode really sucked for me.
But at least Olenna got a really great final scene. It was so awesome to see her admit to Joffrey's death and the look on Jaime's face . . . priceless.
Also, it was hilarious to see everyone on the show saying what I'd just said on my blog, like, an hour before the episode aired: Dany's not perfect, but Cersi is worse.
Cersi is pure evil. Lol. When Jaime defended her, I thought "You fool." And then Olenna said exactly what I was thinking.
For a split second, I had actually hoped that Brienne would help Jaime break away from Cersi and break out of his love-blind devotion. Oh, boy, was I wrong.
What was the point having Jaime and Brienne kinda sorta start a romance????
I guess Brienne functions as a foil for Cersi, to show how evil she is and the man Jaime could be when away from her influence.
Too bad. As much as I hate Jaime, I do love a good redepmtion arc, and it would have been pretty great to see him turn his back on Cersi in favor of Brienne.
Ah well.
As a side note, I still watch Rick and Morty, even if I do have less respect for the writers, so all my rants about the show will be on my blog from now on instead of here.
Just too lazy to make a GoT blog, I guess.

Tonights Episode of GOT **SPOILERS!!!**
Well I feel all kinds of feelings.... I can see all sides right now, we all do. So yeah... I feel pretty torn. On one hand I was with Daenerys when she asked John Snow to not tell people about his true identity, but then he did anyway and I was mad at first, but then Sansa told Tyrion and I get why she did. I get it. But it really saddens me that we’re seeing Daenerys sinking. I love her and she has been such a strong and lovable character! And she’s lost so much that the north and Sansa could never truly understand what shes been through and all that shes accomplished. The part where everyone is praising John and there's no one there for her broke my heart! :( She’s lost everyone. And now they killed another of her dragons and murdered her best friend and last trusted advisor. I’m literally dead inside after this episode... When she was looking over at her dragon like that I knew something bad was about to happen to him! And then it did... Fucking bullshit!!! I love the dragons so much! And the very saddest part in this episode for me was when John didn’t even say goodbye to his wolf, tbh. Like fuck him for that! Go pet Ghost and tell him what a good boy he's been! Wtf... He is such a dick for that.
Anyway...
So my theories are all pretty much the same. Arya kills Cersei using Jaime’s face, Gendry takes the iron throne. John and Daenerys die --but my newest theory is this: Daenerys kills John. I feel like she would if he becomes enough of a threat to her, especially after everyone knows who he is now, after she specifically asked him not to tell anybody... She’s also going to go crazy and set a bunch of innocent people on fire most likely-- OR maybe John kills Daenerys?? if she goes full mad queen. I don’t think he’d stand for that. I hate that that’s happening, but I get why it would.. Look at all the shit happening to her! And now here comes perfect John Snow to take everything that she has slaved her whole life away for. I think even though they’ve got love for each other one of them is going to kill the other and the other one is also going to die at some point as well. I don’t think either of them are going to live... My perfect ending would be Daenerys not dying, not going crazy like everyone expects her to, and her burning Cersi alive with her dragon.-- Honestly, I love John Snow but he’s also kinda “meh..” to me. I think Daenerys truly deserves the throne, but is that going to happen? Most likely not! I don’t think he’s going to be the one either though... but who knows! This is Game of Thrones, anything could happen! Maybe we’ll get a happy ending? Did I see Jaime and Brienne ever hooking up? Nope! I know she had a crush on him but I didn’t see it being reciprocated but I guess it was kinda? That was strange. So yeah... it’s up in the air what’s going to happen next and I am for sure not ready! Two episodes left! Are you kidding me?! I feel SO SAD!
I did read though that they are starting filming for the GOT prequel series and another spinoff got series even after that. So this is not totally the end.
I have other good shows like the Hanmaids Tale and Outlander to hold me over until then. ALSO Lord of the Rings TV series!!!! So hyped for that!!! Anyway... off topic! But that’s all I have to say about GOT right now. Who knows at this point what’s going to be.. We. Shall. See.

So, I Quite Liked Game of Thrones, Series 8
So, I realise that I’m kind of late to the party on this, but I recently watched the final series of Game of Thrones... and I don’t get what all the moaning is about. Yeah, that’s right: I’m the most unremittingly negative human being in the universe and I genuinely don’t understand why everyone hates the last GOT series so much. Frankly, my only gripe is that nobody took Grey Worm aside and slapped him so hard the rod flew out his puckered, fantasy-equivalent military-shill arsehole.
Don’t get me wrong. I’ve heard the specific complaints people are making- I just don’t really get them. The one with the most validity is that the show moved away from a focus on political intrigue with a strong dialogue base to a more action-oriented bloodbath. But surely we all knew this was going to happen, right? Like, the whole point of the political feuding and scheming and endless manipulation was that it was all keeping people from uniting and confronting the real existential threat: an ever-expaning army of fucking ice zombies. At some point, obviously the wordy infighting and increasingly machiavellian sadism (entertaining though it was) was going to get resolved so that we could see how humanity fared in a war against a big fuck-off army of ice zombies. I even kind of liked the fact that, in true Game of Thrones style, the show kept going for a few episodes after the White Walkers were defeated, just to demonstrate that even surviving a sobering war with the living dead isn’t enough to stop human beings murdering one another in petty power games.
Speaking of which, Dani going nuts and crispy-frying a whole bunch of innocent civilians with the scaly, fire-breathing equivalent of a nuclear bomb was a stroke of genius. Her whole freaking character arc was about how her self-proclaimed heroism started out as genuine and gradually became a thin veneer covering a bubbling cauldron of homicidal craziness. It’s not really GOT’s fault that audiences didn’t realise that and were consequently shocked and apalled when the show finally had to spell it out for them. The problem there is that audiences have been conditioned by years of lazy telly and films to give smug, murderous, self-righteous sociopaths in fiction a free pass provided they a) own a vagina and b) can be used as empowerment porn by the kind of person you wouldn’t want to be stuck in an empty train carriage with without a powerful flameflower handy. To stupid people, that last point probably sounded problematic, so let me stress that I’m all for interesting and bad-ass female characters in genre fiction (can I get a cry of Jadzia Dax from all you Deep Space Nine fans out there?!). My point is just that the mainstream film and television industry nowadays confuses ‘interesting and badass’ with ‘sadistic amoral trash-fire’ so often that it’s become Standard Operating Procedure, and we can’t blame Game of Thrones for being the only show in years not to tongue that particular anal cavity.
In unrelated positivity, I’m also glad that Bran the Three-Eyed Raven ended up on the throne instead of one of the prototypical bookie’s favourites. I mean, he’s an all-knowing elder-something far removed from human vices and failings. While he’s probably not entirely knowable, he can’t possibly fuck things up any worse than actual proper people did, so fair play to him. Besides, it frees Jon Snow up to go back beyond the Wall, where all the sexy red-headed wildling chicks are. Sure, he had to act all put-out and humble when they sent him north for killing Dani ‘crazy-pants’ Targaryen, but that just comes naturally to him- he’s got mournful face. We all know that in, like, two weeks, he’ll be balls deep in someone with flowing auburn locks- maybe a woman, or maybe that big fella with the beard, ‘cause there was definitely some homoerotic tension there. Either way, if you listen very carefully when the north wind blows, you’ll hear the faintest of cries. That’s Jonny-boy, having a slightly mournful orgasm. I don’t know about you, but I find that an oddly comforting thought.
Oh, and Arya Stark going off to discover the new world is just awesome. Dumb as soup, since it came completely out of left-field with no hint that there even was a new world to be discovered until the last possible minute, of course. However, it’s so awesome that I don’t care if its stupid, so make of that what you will.
There’s lots else I could mention- the surprisingly bittersweet end of Jamie and Cersi Lannister; Tyrion and a bunch of other misfits actually having to run Westeros while Bran contemplates infiity; that one fucking fight you know the one I mean. Basically, though, I just thought it was all pretty good stuff. Not as well-scripted as the early series, but that’s to be expected when a show starts to run down its clock and needs to get to its big dramatic payoff before the money runs out. So yeah. I didn’t hate. In fact, I rate it a solid ‘okay’. I liked it about as much as I like getting a free blowjob, but not quite as much as I like having a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake- and yes, I did get that the right way round: I’m nearly thirty and my fucking priorities have changed, alright?
