This week, I needed to go to three different stores and was procrastinating something awful. So, I promised myself a frozen custard if I finished all three in one day, and guess what? I finished all three in under an hour. ✅

Small rewards can be very motivating! Especially if it’s something you feel a tiny bit guilty for treating yourself to normally. Your whole mindset shifts. I earned this, damn it!

Daniel Kane knew that he was different. The older he got, the more he remembers about a different life. A life with a different older sister - Jazz - and not in Gotham, but somewhere in the Midwest. But he didn't dwell on it to much. He loves his sister Martha and he couldn't be happier for her. She married Thomas Wayne and they both seemed to be so in love. Then Martha got pregnant and a few month later he held his little godson/nephew Bruce in is arms.

Daniel stayed close to the Waynes and was more often in their house then not. But he also started to remember more, things that seemed impossible. Like a blues skinned, floating boy/man/grandpa. Sometimes when he looked in the mirror, his features looked wrong for a split second. White hair, green eyes and far to young. But he pushes all of this away and tries to live a normal life.

Then his sister and Thomas die. So he does the only right thing and becomes little Bruce's Guardian. It's hard, even with Alfred's help. But he tries do be there for him, while grieving behind closed doors.

When Bruce comes to him, to tell him about his idea to protect the people of Gotham, he first wants to objects, but something tells him that this needs to happen.

So after a few years Bruce becomes Batman. And Daniel worries every night, but he somehow knows that his nephew is doing the right thing.

And as their family grows, he can´t help but be grateful, even though his memories become more and more distorted. It was like he had a life before this one. A life of a normal middle class kid, then a teen hero with outlandish powers. But he was never much older than Damien in his memories, even though he got a new one almost every night.

At some point he started to write everything down. He hid his notes from the rest of the family, until one day when he had a strange feeling. He left everything out in the open for the others to find.

Daniel Kane wasn’t seen again after this day.

Clockwork had a sad smile on his face. But this was what had to be done to right the timeline. Danny Phantom couldn’t exist without Daniel Fenton, so he needed to make sure that this time someone was around who could also protect his human side.

After his identity got revealed accidentally and his parents captured him, it didn’t take long till his human half couldn’t take it anymore. He was only able to rescue the full Ghost of Danny Phantom and it took so long for the young ghostling to heal.

He send his soul back to reincarnate in the past so that they could change everything and he was again able to become the Ancient of Balance. But the moment that Daniel Fenton formed as a Ghost the soul of Phantom had to be reabsorbed into him. And so Daniel Kane would no longer exist.

But Bruce Wayne would still see him as family and Danny would get the family he deserved, even if he didn’t know this anymore.

Summary:

She discovers— much to her dismay— that fans are writing salacious, and frankly, quite shocking things about Ladybug and Chat Noir!  Scandalized, she’s ready to write fanfiction off for good, until she receives a link to a fic that’s too tempting to resist— leading her to #1LadyFan, a surprisingly good author that writes convincing romance, and seems to have an alarming amount of insight on the duo’s dynamic that isn’t public knowledge.  Flustered, irritated, and admittedly a little intrigued, Marinette creates the username PolkaDotPrincess and contacts the author to offer constructive criticism on what she considers to be glaring inaccuracies. Meanwhile, Adrien is thrilled to learn that his Ladynoir fanfiction is gaining popularity, and over the moon when a reader reaches out. After weeks of increasingly flirty late-night conversations with his mysterious online friend, Adrien notices that she seems to know an awful lot about Ladybug and Chat Noir. Marinette sat perched on the edge of her chaise in her pajamas, staring absently across the room at her computer as its Adrien-themed screensaver played across the screen. She squeezed the ends of her wet hair with the towel draped around her shoulders, soaking up the water that dripped down her neck.  She’d thought that maybe a nice hot shower would help take her mind off of the intrusive thoughts that had been plaguing her all day. Instead, all that the hot shower had done for her was to conjure up some equally hot images in her mind…  Adrien Agreste, casually lounging on his bed in only slippers and a bathrobe, wearing reading glasses (for some entirely inexplicable reason, as his vision was perfect, like him), with a laptop balanced on his lap. His vibrant green eyes were half-lidded as if in a trance, so deeply absorbed as he was in his reading…  Marinette stood up abruptly, her damp towel dropping to the chaise. Suddenly, it had become all too clear to her that— Adrien reads fanfiction. She stiffly marched the three paces toward her desk, her head swimming as she processed this morning’s shocking revelations. It's not that big of a deal, really. It’s just that— Adrien reads FANFICTION. And not just any fanfiction, but LadyNoir fanfiction! Okay, maybe it’s a bit of a big deal, because she couldn’t help but make the connection that— Adrien reads fanfiction about her! Marinette plopped into her desk chair, swiveling around to face her suddenly intimidating computer screen.  Sure, there was no way that Adrien could know he was reading about her, but the truth of the matter is that she is Ladybug! So if Adrien was spending his nights reading fanfiction, then that meant— Adrien reads fanfiction about her… being with another man!! She groaned loudly, her forehead falling onto the keyboard with a series of clacks.  Oh, this is just too cruel.

Pete had told Porsche there was no such thing as heroes or villains. What Pete hadn’t said — what Porsche hadn’t been ready to hear — was that this would not stop the world from treating them like villains anyway.

Pete doesn’t blame them. His hands have been soaked with the blood of thousands, children and men and elderly alike. Some of them had deserved it; some of them hadn’t, and they needed little help to despise Pete for it either way.

It is easy to feel like a hero when your hands are clean. Porsche’s hands aren’t clean by any means, but it is so obvious that Porsche is only familiar with the kind of blood shed in the ring. It has an honesty to it. It washes off. But the kind of violence that Pete enacted today, that Porsche will inevitably have to resort to in the future, will seep into his hands and stain him forever. People will see it written on his skin, and they will know what it means. They will hate him for it.

Porsche will learn to bear that hatred. He will learn that clean hands are a privilege, afforded only to those who pay others to do their dirty work for them. Though there is shame in being used like this, he will let himself be used, and he will see that the shame does him no good; he will learn to free himself of it in due time.

So here it is! The warm, weighted, humanoid, portable blanket! AKA: Ceph! These little guys are just the cutest. <3

(I've never drawn wings before, so I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I based them off of a Barn Owl's wings.)

I swear I'm accidentally making Ceph's hair longer and longer with every drawing. xD At least it's lore accurate? :D

This is so so cute! I love his little baby wings ((it’s funny how you based it on a barn owl’s wings given how birds are actually kinda important to the story!)) also yep! The hair is actually very lore accurate!

Here I am planning a sad Asha one-shot a few years before Ceph appears based on the song ‘Saturn’ by SZA and something @squiggledude pointed out to me with Asha’s birthday being right after the queens- but then you drop this with them both happy and it warms my heart!
