4 shifts to help you alchemize personal demons and baggage
fear of being alone is connected to your level of self respect when your *heart is too closed* you have created barricades that disconnect you from experiencing love moment to moment. this is *where* you are consistently noticing everything wrong with others and the world from, which is just reflecting your current perception of your own power. when you close your heart, and a positive…

Brainwash yourself with good habits. You need to do it the way you would train a dog - fetch the stick and get a treat.
I love listening to music but I also wanted to start listening to podcasts. I have to go to work everyday, and I prefer to drive myself to work and back.
I know that if I make myself listen to podcasts both drives, the habit will last not more than 3 days.
But if I make myself listen to a podcast on the way to work; and listen to my favourite music on the way back home to de-stress and relax; now that’s a healthy compromise. And it works for the long term.
The same goes with social media. I deleted all social media from my phone. I don’t have Facebook, Instagram, or even tumblr on my phone. The YouTube account that I keep on my phone has been very consciously kept; I only allow the algorithm to show me educational stuff like podcasts, history videos, news, psychology, stuff like that. Absolutely no entertainment. I keep all my social media (and my “fun” YouTube account which is basically Korean mukbangs and all sorts of useless beauty hauls that I honestly love to watch) on another device - my iPad, which I use for work. I check out what’s happening on tumblr or YouTube or Pinterest when it’s my lunch break or a coffee break. That’s another healthy compromise that works for me.
Going cold turkey with anything - stopping something addictive like smoking or drinking or suddenly starting a plethora of new habits- doesn’t work. You’ve restricted your mind and body so much that you keep remember the good old days where you drank like a whale and sat on the couch watching rubbish and you glamorise, romanticise and reminisce those times. Now you’re in that dangerous red zone where you know that if you see that bottle or the packet of chips, your body is going to reach for it before your mind can intervene.
Aim for long-term, sustainable albeit small habits, rather than complex overnight habits.

Goals for the following week
My main goals during my level up journey are getting hotter, smarter, healthier and becoming a girl with charisma. To accomplish those, I need to: - do my skincare every day - move my body for at least 30 minutes a day - increase protein and fiber intake - stop picking and scratching my skin (a bad habit which affects my appearance) - practice my social skills in private - study Japanese according to my schedule - start studying for the language Olympiad - engage in activities and hobbies that are not scrolling (eg. painting, reading and writing) - limit my screen time I know that seems like a lot, but I broke them down in smaller steps so that they are doable. I recommend you do the same. You won't be able to study five hours a day, go to the gym for 1h and practice your social skills for 2h every day, but you can study for 1h and a half, run for 20 min and talk to the mirror for 15 minutes. Doing these for 5-6 days a week will make you see faster results than being extreme for 2 days a week and then rotting in bed the following 5. Also, I encourage you to set goals and adopt behaviors that actually help you level up and be your best version instead of following an aesthetic and doing yoga before going to bed when you need to focus on your financial situation or learn a new skill. Are you ready for a new week, loves? Let's get it started!

Millionaires aren't working 24/7, waking up at 4 am, or showing off on social media.
If you want to be a millionaire, mimic their habits:
1. Read a lot
2. Set big goals
3. Think long-term
4. Take calculated risks
5. Network with high achievers
6. Embrace delayed gratification
7. Invest in yourself and self-education
Never underestimate the power of small habits.

your inner child is craving your warmth
Your inner voice is either creating heaven on earth or hell on earth for you and as you. Your inner talk sets the tone for the state of your inner world, which as a result you embody in your outer world. Your inner world is the reality you are creating day in and day out through your private mind. You can never escape your private mind. When you attempt to, it feeds & empowers the inner…

The 8 Habits of Highly Effective CEOs: Secrets to Leading with Impact
What separates the most successful CEOs in the world from the rest? It’s not luck, talent, or even genius—it’s their habits. Like the invisible scaffolding of a skyscraper, daily rituals shape the mindset, energy, and decisions of successful founders and leaders. In a world where more than 50% of CEOs cite “relentless pressure to perform” as their top challenge, habits aren’t just helpful—they’re survival tools.
For aspiring leaders, understanding the habits of highly effective people isn’t optional; it’s foundational. This isn’t about copying routines blindly. It’s about designing a lifestyle that turns chaos into clarity, pressure into purpose, and ideas into impact. Let’s decode the eight game-changing habits that fuel successful CEOs—and how you can adopt them to lead with resilience, creativity, and vision.
1. Do What Only YOU Can Do: The Art of Ruthless Prioritization
“If you want something done, ask a busy person,” they say. But successful CEOs flip this: “If you want something done right, focus ONLY on what only YOU can do.”
The role of a CEO is a vortex of demands—investors, teams, crises, opportunities. The difference? Elite leaders like Mary Dillon (Ulta Beauty) treat their time as a non-renewable resource. They delegate operational tasks to trusted teams and laser-focus on strategic priorities: shaping vision, nurturing talent, and driving innovation.
Why it works:
Leverages the 80/20 Rule: 20% of efforts drive 80% of results.
Builds trust in teams by empowering them to own outcomes.
Frees mental space for big-picture thinking.
Actionable Takeaway: Start your week by asking: “What 3 tasks will move the needle most—and require MY unique input?” Delegate the rest.
2. Manage Your Energy, Not Just Time: The CEO’s Secret Fuel
Time management is outdated. Successful CEOs like Indra Nooyi (ex-PepsiCo) know energy management is the real hack. Nooyi famously protected her mornings for exercise and family, ensuring she brought peak energy to critical decisions.
The Energy Blueprint:
Schedule “thinking blocks”: Guard 90-minute slots for deep work.
Recover relentlessly: After intense periods, recharge with hobbies or downtime.
Move your body: Physical activity sharpens mental clarity.
Why it matters: Burnout isn’t a badge of honor—it’s a leadership failure.
3. Seek Results, Not Approvals: Cut the Red Tape
Agility separates market leaders from laggards. Elon Musk slashed approval layers to three, empowering teams to experiment fast. Result? Tesla’s Cybertruck launched despite internal skepticism—and pre-orders topped 1 million.
How to streamline:
Adopt the “Two Pizza Rule”: If a team can’t be fed with two pizzas, it’s too big.
Replace “Permission Culture” with “Accountability Culture.”
Pro Tip: Ask, “What’s the cost of delaying this decision?” If it’s higher than the risk, act.
4. Treat Creativity as an Investment, Not a Risk
Creativity drives 65% of GDP growth —yet many leaders stifle it with fear. Phil Knight, the former CEO of Nike bet big on rebellious campaigns like “Just Do It” during controversy.
Cultivating Creativity:
Allocate a “risk budget” for bold ideas.
Celebrate failures as R&D costs.
5. Play Legos, Not Jenga: Build for Reinvention
Jenga is about avoiding collapse. Legos? Building, breaking, and rebuilding. Ruth Handler epitomized this by transforming Barbie into a global icon through constant reinvention.
Growth mindset in action:
Test small, scale fast: Pilot ideas quickly and iterate.
Reward curiosity: Encourage teams to ask, “What if?”
Why it matters: Industries evolve—leaders who adapt thrive.
6. Say “Thanks a Lot,” Not “Thanks, But”: The Gratitude Advantage
Satya Nadella of Microsoft transformed the company’s culture by prioritizing gratitude. His habit of handwritten notes to employees fostered trust and collaboration.
Why gratitude wins:
Strengthens loyalty: People stay where they feel valued.
Fuels innovation: Psychological safety unlocks creativity.
Try This:Replace generic praise with specific recognition. “Your creativity on Project X shifted our strategy” resonates deeper than “Good job.”
7. Be a Lifelong Learner: Knowledge as a Superpower
Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffett attribute their success to relentless curiosity. They read voraciously, stay curious, and adapt to trends before they become mainstream.
Learning strategies for leaders:
Dedicate daily learning time: Even 20 minutes compounds over the years.
Engage reverse mentors: Learn from younger teams about tech and culture shifts.
Key Insight: The best leaders stay students.
8. Communicate to Inspire: Turn Vision into Action
Oprah Winfrey didn’t just share ideas—she made audiences feel them. Her ability to articulate a compelling vision turned a talk show into a media empire.
Mastering inspirational communication:
Use stories, not jargon: Connect emotionally before logically.
Simplify relentlessly: If you can’t explain it in 10 words, refine it.
Example: When Howard Schultz returned to Starbucks, he reignited passion by refocusing on the “third place” ethos—not profit margins.
Your Habits Define Your Legacy
The habits of successful CEOs aren’t about working harder—they’re about working differently. They’re the quiet rituals that turn pressure into purpose, teams into tribes, and ideas into legacies. For aspiring leaders, adopting even 1-2 of these habits can ignite transformation.
Remember: You don’t rise to the level of your goals—you fall to the level of your habits. Choose yours wisely.

-Blip- There's a notification on Bruce Wayne's phone. Yes, *that* Bruce Wayne. It's... that new self care app that has been all the rage in Japan and has most of the staff in the Japanese branch singing its praises? ...did Bruce even download it onto this month's burner phone? Whether he did or not, the avatar is on his screen now; an adorable child like face with electric blue eyes and bright red hair, speaking in rapid Japanese. "I'm very sorry to have wandered into your phone like this. I believe I have gotten a little lost." @personae-obscura ((Have the world's sweetest and only good AI))
Honestly Bruce rarely actually uses his phone. This one, anyway; he keeps it for appearance's sake. It's not really unheard of for people to have business and personal phones, after all, especially in the social circles the CEO of Wayne Enterprises has to run in, so having multiple phones has never made anyone bat an eye.
Because he rarely uses it, he's never really bothered to keep track of what he has on it. In this particular case he remembers downloading that self-care app during his last trip to Japan, though he'd never intended to actually do anything with it. It seems to have taken the choice out of his hands, though, since he'd felt the phone vibrate in his pocket and is now looking at a face right out of one of Dick's - or Damian's - anime shows.
And it's speaking to him.
Some part of him is automatically on guard - it wandered into his phone? It got lost? Hm - but another can't help but blink at the face on the screen in reflexive bemusement. "…Lost…?"
#Communication#personae obscura#bruce ic#bruce verse: i am the night#[bruce has never been so thankful that his CEO persona is ingrained habit at this point XD]

So, Walt wants a Framework...
I may have created a monster.
See, Mondays are slow in the morning for us, and the weekend vibes don't really end until noon sharp. So, Sarah and I are discussing potential work-related upgrades, when Walt mentions that his trusty ASUS laptop is starting to feel sluggish.
I mean - you know me. You know Sarah, too. We immediately had Linux Distro boners, and considering how Walt isn't tech-focused and really needs a turn-key solution, Linux Mint was our best choice. Still, the hardware proper was aging, so Walt did as Walt does and took to Best Buy's website to show me the first page that crops up when you type "laptop" in their Search bar.
He wasn't wrong in the sense that swapping one entry-level device for another one would've done the trick; even a basic and bare-bones platform designed to run MS Office as its most resource-intensive task could've done the job. The problem is, I'm getting sick of dealing with bi-yearly comments related to how he's "unsure" of his laptop's performance. I want something I could overspend on intentionally in order to give him a nice, sizable buffer of performance that could last at least five years.
Considering, the best option really is a Framework laptop. I showed him the company's website, explained the business model to him, and now he's hooked, envisioning a future where all he needs to run presentations for the extremely rare event of his needing to beat pavement to find us clients is a snazzy lil' pouch crammed with a few Expansion Bay modules, including USB-C. It immediately turned his Pitch Brain on, and he started selling me on the worth of using sustainable tech in our day-to-day operations, to predictably and playfully poke fun at me for daring to use a boutique laptop (from Razer) in what is likely the least-sustainable choice imaginable...
I rolled my eyes. "It's a Blade 14 from two years ago; I can't just toss that out the window! Morally, I have to take that hardware to its limits first, and then worry about revisions!"
Walt scoffed back. "Aw, come on; it'd be a business expense! We should all get a Framework!"
Followed twenty minutes of Sarah and I trying to talk our now laptop-obsessed boyfriend into letting us keep using the same portables we already have, and doing our best to convince him that he's the one who needs an upgrade.
"But you don't even game on your laptop!" notes Walt. "Don't you wish you could do that on your off-time?"
I rolled my eyes. "Sure, hon - I'll just use the company Visa at 41 years old and just buy myself a new toy like I'm an idiotic Sales Rep who's just been slated for a fat commission! No! I cannot do that, Walt! Besides, my laptop is for work! What does it say about me if I use company hardware to frag noobs after hours?!"
Walt drew himself up, smirking. "I don't care what it says, because I'm the boss of this company - and the boss wants us to have sustainable tech, now. It's good for the planet, good for our image, and I'll have a reliable one-stop shop for any future upgrades."
I threw my hands up. "Fine, whatever! Let's just burn twenty thou plus taxes off of our operational budget! I love you, hon, but this is the shittiest idea ever, Walt."
Walt placed a hand on my shoulder. "I'll call Scrooge, get him to draw us up a budget with a few mockup bills. If it makes sense, we'll pull the plug. If he tells me I'm being delusional, then we'll just buy one for me."
Sarah gave Walt a circumspect look. "Fine. But if it turns out you just buy one for yourself, I forbid you from loading up our own Visa for Christmas gifts shaped like laptops, later on."
That knocked a few Machiavellian twinkles out of Walt's eyes - but not by much. I know the big guy; if he's convinced himself we deserve something, we'll get it, even if we issue moral objections. It might take years and he might use different excuses, but it'll happen.
Note to self: try and convert the BF to Ascetism, or at least Minimalism...
