Thank you, Next (Kimler Geldi Kimler Geçti)
It was such a good and feel good tv-show !
I needed it so badly.
The story was nice, the cloths amazing, the boys handsome . What else to ask.
The music playlist was excellent.
The actrice is also so beautiful.
But I don't understand why Seyyaz was interested to Defne instead of Leyla. And how after trois months or more Defne was not showing her belly if she was truly pregnant.
Also, is Leyla's oncle gay and in a relationship with his law partner?
But thank you, finally for a turkish tv-show, the characters are able to kiss and more.
The only problem I have with the show is that the image they show of Istanbul is incorrect. They are showing an idealistic Turkey, a Turkey that doesn't exist unfortunately.
Unfortunately, the traduction was so terrible. I'm very grateful that I can understand Turkish.
Some quotes (in French):
"- C'est fini, point. C'est de l'obsession, pas de l'amour." (Leyla - Episode 2)
"- Je veux savoir si ça va, je ne fais pas une fixette." (Leyla - Episode 3)
"- Pourquoi je te ferais des excuses ? (Cem) - Aucun remords, en plus ?" (Leyla) - Non. J'ai obtenir ce que je voulais. (Cem - Episode 5)
"- Un vrai défilé de prétendants." (Leyla - Episode 5)
"- Veinarde ! - Arrête. (Episode 5)
"- Quand on découvre leurs défauts, a-t-on encore envie d'eux? Ils savent nous captiver, et un jour, sans savoir comment, on se retrouve à l'autel. Et ensuite, c'est... Le mariage. Le malheur. (...) Comme s'ils se faisaient tous refaire le visage. On est entourés de faux jetons tout ridés à l'intérieur, mais botoxés à l'extérieur. On s'accroche à une illusion pour ne pas s'avouer qu'on s'est trompé. On appelle ça une relation à long terme."
(Leyla - Episode 8)

Cam Tavanlar - Episode 5
I love this show, but I also dread this show...
Poor teary Cem. He’s so good at being panicked.
I almost forget we made it out already and started to worry myself.
Forgot the dude was hiding muscles.
The concerned husbanding coming from Cem is going to kill me.
Of course Leyla noticed his injury.
The fact that they only had one day is so stupid. I & They need way more.
I think I did this the last few reactions, but I do not care about the restaurant stuff. If the chef is there to light a fire under Cem or push Leyla towards Cem then cool, otherwise, everything that is not Cem and Leyla is wasting my time.
I don’t really buy that the Chef is in love with Leyla. Like, it was two kind of cute scenes that pale in the chemistry of her main love interest.
Can the show at least give me some more context for why Leyla keeps pushing him away? I understand that she thought he had a girlfriend, but it doesn’t make sense why all these years later she never lets him speak.
If the two Chefs are going to start hooking up as a way to deal with their frustration with each other, then that would not be a waste of my time.
Cem’s shoulder is concerning me now.
If the Chef is in love with Leyla, then watching Cem and Leyla make pasta like they are the only two people on the whole planet very awkward. The way he never takes his eyes off of them is making me more interest in his character.
The way Cem keeps smiling like he is doing in spite of himself does things to my soul.
MAGIC APPLES!
Did Leyla just tell Cem he is hot to his face?
I’m not complaining about the dancing (sex) happening right now, but it seems really weird that Leyla would agree to dance with him. There seems to be less and less explanation why she is always divided between extreme hot and extreme cold.
LOL at the Chef seeing them dancing and walking away.
I hate that the Chef is being encouraged. That feels a little cruel.
I hate these old dudes.
If they actually learn from the fact that they are miss-communicating so much then this is rad. If they are going to point it out and then never allow the characters to develop then I’m going to end up rage quitting another dizi.
I want Leyla to move into Cem’s apartment. I like his kitchen better.
I knew the doorbell wasn’t going to Cem. I can’t have nice things and why not just nearly repeat scenes from an episode or two ago?
I’m now realizing I’m salty and that I might want Leyla and Cem together TOO much.
They hate me so much. They literally know they need to talk. They are dumb and I hate them.
Chef might be my new favorite character. I think I called him boring before. Literally might be the only thing besides how pretty Leyla’s smile is to make Cem move.
Leyla looked like she stopped breathing when she saw him.
GITME!
GITME!
GITME!
THE THINGS ONE WORD CAN DO TO ME!
I love that Leyla invited Cem to join them eating. Even more that she keeps trying to keep him around.
I’m going to hit that waiter dude with a car.
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU LEAVE ME LIKE THAT?! WHO IS THAT CHICK?! WHY IS THAT CHICK?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

2. Bölüm
So I'm keeping up with the week of summer dizis with this second installment. May I first congratulate our lady Meriç Acemi for giving a good thought on the subject of the dizi, glass ceilings is a great start to say something about the feminist movement. She placed romance at the right amount to not make me give up (What? I'm here for the comedy and the romance and if there is no comedy, than the romance has to make me keep it going) and to make me feel proud of watching it. Second, did I say before that the opening song is not very good? It doesn't play well with the show, at all. Third, Şinası was the best side character of this episode, probably will be for the next ones that will come.
Now I have to say that this episode wasn't better than the first, they are in an equal foot. While the first brought a mysterious haze or suspense about what the f*ck happened between them that made the good chemestry fall apart years ago (Suna, where are you? Get out of the cave you went woman! You brought our lovebirds in this predicament, probably without intention, and now you don't help us understand 😤). At last, without making us waiting a lot, they are putting the pieces slowly and in the perfect pace. I liked Cem's talking with his dad and grandad, seemed like family really and he doesn't have a problem with his father which is new to me. Serkan Bolat, Can Divit, Yaman Koper, even Akgün has a problem with his dad (in Can's case was with the mother but you get my point). It was very new to me on this show to see an old white man who is apparently good, even cool saying some wise things without disrespecting the entire female population (although I cannot guarantee that I truly understand what they said, the subs are not very much reliable after the "hell" and "god" thing on the other dizi I wrote about). Their banter was surprising, didn't think it would go that way and it amused me a LOT. Wow! That old lady with lots of cats has me getting my feet to build my future to be like her (not so much as I'm me and she is her), I'm gonna be the old cat lady with no kids, maybe a dog will be there, who knows? Certainly not me. Cem's looking at her before and after waking her up was what I assigned for this summer. It is good to know that at the same time they talk about important stuff as the injustice Leyla suffered in those white old hands of those trash guys, they gives us romance. The name of the restaurant (Lujuria) is really cool because apparently every good thing that she remembers is related to Cem. All the little details in the Asude restaurant, like the font in the middle of the restaurant, the egg meal that he made that day she put on the menu, etc. Her friendship with Şinası is so wonderful, he abandoned his work in the Asude restaurant to work and help her in her own project. I mean, that's friendship goals and his panic outbursts are really funny, sometimes are even relatable. I loved when Inci hanım, together with Cem, sat down on a table in front of Lujuria just to watch the success of Leyla. That old white guy was so afraid of Leyla, because he knows she is good in what she does (laghed so hard on that!). Anyway, today I'm not on the mood to post something but my virgo sign says that I'm too right minded to left this as late as it is. So I'll say that I'm very happy with the result of this dizi until now. I have to say that I don't see this series on the long run, hoping they will not disappoint me on that (like putting lots of unnecessary plots just to try to make it survive).
That's all for now!

I really don't want to watch Cam Tavanlar if it's only going to hurt me. Maybe skip until next week and do the episodes together? I was so happy at the end of last week's episode!!!!!!!!!

So, I started watching Cam Tavanlar!
My first impression lived up to what I thought and expected of it. I cannot explain the rage I felt after what the dizi showed me. In the middle of the room, apart from Leyla, I only saw shit. Every man there was an excuse of the word "man", because there are many other words to describe them. Let me say some of them: scoundrel, asshole, shit, twat, dick... Sorry for the vocabulary, but it was necessary as I'm sensitive to chauvinists being chauvinists in front of me so I need to pull some energy out. Anyway, I'm very optimistic with the dizi as it is an unusual theme occurring in the diziland, very much looking foward to the next episodes too. Kinda nervous with Kubi's character as he is a man and can unfortunately disappoint me in the middle of the script, BUT I'm still okay with him for now, even swooned a little (or maybe a LOT) with him there (Cem is a romantic guy, what can I do if I like a soft guy in romcoms?). He's alright for now, but I'll observe him just to make sure that I'll not get my hopes up for nothing you know (what can I do again? I'm just a girl standing in front of a computer, always expecting something from the dizis that I'm watching and having my heart broken from them), because my expectations cannot be broken again in a spectacular way (like Sen Çal Kapımı had me before and Her Yerde Sen before then).
That's all for now!
