Celtic Fantasy Music | Fall under the spell of love in the tavern! #medievaltavernmusic
Celtic Fantasy Music | Fall under the spell of love in the tavern! #medievaltavernmusic - Immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of medieval taverns with this music collection. Immerse yourself in the magic of music in these places where love and passion reign. On a dark and foggy night of the Middle Ages, you encounter a warm atmosphere when you enter the door of a tavern. People sitting around wooden tables, clinking their glasses, laughing and chatting. In a corner, a musician adds joy to the atmosphere by playing his lyre. While you are sitting at a table and asking the waiter for a glass of wine, your eyes catch on a young woman sitting at the opposite table. You notice that he is looking at you too, and your eyes meet. At that moment, you feel as if time has stopped. The rhythm of the music changes and takes on a more romantic melody. You gather your courage and proceed towards the young woman's desk. You extend your hand to him and offer to dance. She accepts with a smile. At that moment, you fall under the spell of love in the magical atmosphere of the tavern. When you dance to the music, the rest of the world disappears and you just enjoy the moment. This story comes to life with the magical melodies of Celtic Fantasy Music. Immerse yourself in the Magic of Love in the Tavern! Thank you very much for listening. Enjoy relaxing, Sleeping, Meditation Music and have a wonderful day or evening! Relaxing Musıc ❤️🎼: https://bit.ly/3npb12h #celticmusic #fantasymusic #lovesongs

We spent our final day in London gorging ourselves on hot chocolate and fresh donuts at Camden Markets. It was an awful day weather–wise so we were lucky much of the market place was undercover. We wandered for hours winding our way through the cramped and crowded alleyways and left with (almost) empty wallets and very full bellies.
Through the afternoon we frantically tried to organize luggage storage for our bags as we would fly with Ryan Air the next day to Dublin, and had only booked cabin baggage (budget backpacking dilemma!). Luckily, with considerable persistence, we were able to convince the hostel staff to store our bags for us for the 9 days we would be away. So we repacked our bags and spent the evening getting even more excited for our Irish and Scottish getaway.
We woke at 4am and caught a cab to the closest national express bus station, from there, catching a 1 hour bus to Stanstead airport where Kirby proceeded to be violated by airport security staff who performed a very thorough frisking.
Once landed in Dublin we soon found our hostel on Bachelors Walk in the heart of the city and right on the door of the Liffey. On our way in search of breakfast we were confronted by 2 very drunk, very bold Irishmen (it wasn’t yet midday) who yelled in their thick accents “I love a good bull’s-eye” and “you have good hips” before stumbling off down the street. The rest of our morning and into the afternoon was spent orienting ourselves with all the essential landmarks; Tesco (cheap supermarket), cash machines, Penney’s (the Irish version of Primark/K-mart) and of course the best of the pubs and coffee shops.
Our first night in Dublin was spent pub-crawling through Temple Bar and just a few out of the 2000 + Irish pubs in the small city. We drank shots of mickey finns (yet to try Guinness) and cowboys but only made it to 3 bars before we decided to call it a night as the thought of snuggling down in bed out of the cold after our early start was just too tempting. We did manage to stay awake long enough to be serenaded by a traditional Irish band called The Band of Midnight Love.
Dublin day two consisted largely of eating (we’ve perfected the art) and a tour to Wicklow County which is about an hour out of Dublin, but the scenery couldn’t be more different. Winding our way through Dublin’s outer suburbs we appreciated the beautiful Georgian houses with their brightly coloured doors. Apparently before street numbers were common, people would paint their front doors a different colour to their neighbour’s to distinguish between their houses.
Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains delivered some serious Irish countryside eye-candy. The rolling meadows of heather, hawthorn and gorse were spotted with very plump and very woolly sheep and hundreds of little lambs (there are more sheep in Ireland than people). Apart from being the film site for movies like Braveheart and P.S I Love You, Glendalough is the site to a 6th century monastery and cathedral, as well as a graveyard of Celtic crosses and tombstones. The monastery is still in near original condition with only minor restorations after surviving attacks from Vikings, English and Welsh raiders who have contributed to its dereliction. But the land is beautiful, and despite the eerie cemetery, the surrounding woods, lakes and hillsides make Glendalough one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. It reminded me of home and has been the highlight of the trip so far for me.
Tomorrow we are joining another free walking tour to see all of Dublin’s main attractions. More photos to come :)
