Celetherian
("cele-" as in celebrity)
Definition: One whose theriotype is a specific, non-fictional member of a nonhuman species, that is named and known to the public.
Examples: One whose theriotype is Koko the Gorilla. One whose therioype is Laika the Dog.
Usage: They are a Celetherian. Their Celetheriotype is Dolly the Sheep.
Notes: Many therians experience their theriotypes as being a specific individual of their species. They may have memories or noemata of their life as that specific individuals, and details such as their fur color, body type, social role, and more.
Spiritual therians especially, often experience their theriotype as being an actual individual that once existed or currently exists in this reality (such as in a past or parallel life). It's just that typically, that individual may not be named or known to humans.
The only difference here is the experience of one's theriotype being an individual of the species that is or was recognized by the public eye.
Constructive feedback and discussion is welcome. We only ask that you not pass judgement on those who may experience this. All experiences of therianthropy should be welcomed.

Setting aside your personal feelings about factkin, the difference is pretty straight forward in most cases.
Fictionkin is when your kintype is a fictional character. So long as the character is considered fictional in this reality*, it doesn't matter how the character is portrayed. Having a kintype of a character portrayed by an actor does not mean your kintype involves that actor. Live action is simply one medium fiction can be portrayed in. If the kintype itself is fictional, it's fictionkin.
Factkin is exclusively when your kintype is a human being** that exists or has existed in this reality. So if your kintype was the actor themselves, then that would be factkin.
Some nuances under the cut:
* By "in this reality" we mean the consensus or shared social reality. We personally believe reality is subjective and that everyone perceives their own subjective reality. But for the sake of definitions we're simplifying "reality" to mean some shared perception of the world that is largely agreed upon.
Some people perceive their kintypes to not be fictional on account of how real it is to them, so they may not use the term fictionkin even if their kintype is widely considered to be fictional.
There are also those of us who don't perceive ourselves as being "from" a fictional source, rather that we are from a different reality - and there also just so happens to be a fictional media that superficially resembles our lives. In our case we still call ourselves fictives, mostly for simplicity. We know some fictionkin feel the same way.
** Factkin has historically been exclusive to human beings, though there has been some discussion on whether or not having a kintype of an individual animal that exists in this reality would also make one factkin. Many therians have memories of having been an animal that existed in this world. Some people specifically have connections to famous animal individuals, in which we've coined the term celetherian to describe this.
A question regarding Fictionkin and "Factkin"
Where do you actually draw the line between those two? Disclaimer: I personally don't really like people who are "Factkin" it's creepy i'm sorry, if you consider yourself factkin DON'T keep on reading.
So, one of my kintype's is a fictional character from a series, although i'd say i look pretty different than the actor who resembles the character i still feel it's too close to factkin. So here again, where is the line? If my kin is a character from a series but i look different than the actor in "my reality" but still have some similarities, is that still fictionkin? I mean, my kin is the character not the actor so the answer should be clear but i'm still unsure
I hope that makes sense, and again, please don't start any fights that's not the point of this post. Thank you
