CeeCee has earned the heartbreaking distinction of AHS-Newark’s second longest current resident, waiting for a forever home since July. Please share! CeeCee and her kennelmate, Rose, were picked up as strays on 7/3 and have been living at the shelter ever since. CeeCee is one of the easiest dogs I have EVER handled at the shelter- if loose-leash walking is something you enjoy, this is your girl! She is sweet and friendly, a mellow, gentle, cuddly girl. There’s nothing CeeCee enjoys more than love and affection. As soon as we took her out of her kennel, a time when most dogs are anxious to get outside, she hopped up for a hug right there in the aisle. Her eyes are sad and it’s crushing to think that shelter life and the long wait for a forever home are starting to break her spirit. We took a long walk at the park, CeeCee enjoyed a bone in the car, and she politely rested her head in my hand for some chin scratches which shows just how much she craves and enjoys affection. Once she started snoring in the backseat, I was a goner and continued to drive around, past the shelter, just to let her have some peace and quiet for as long as I could. CeeCee does great with her friend Rose, they can be adopted separately at this point, but has seemed a little tense when meeting other dogs. A meet and greet would be required if you have a resident dog and CeeCee would be perfect as an only pet as well. I spent all of last night (2:30 to 11:30) jumping around different magma servers and drawing these losers XD.

I needed more Eliad practice anyway, but I had to stop because my hand was starting to hurt like a bitch, LMAO!

Definitely gonna be joining magma servers more often cuz this was fun as hell and it pushes me to draw my characters more.

So one of the people I’m in a Discord server with (@itzyecho/@echoarts03) is working on a show called Exuberant and I wanted to make some fanart about her characters Ceecee and Eliad. After I saw her describe them as having a father-child relationship, this was my first thought:

Exuberant Masterpost

Written for a class back in my sophomore year of college, Exuberant found its way to my heart, and I decided to continue working on it, even after the semester ended!

PLOT:

When best friends Brianne and Gabby uncover a powerful relic that a dark being has corrupted, they find it transforming the once-benevolent world they have grown to love into a hellscape run by a powerful god. As Eliad’s dark reign spreads, the two are marked as threats to his rule. With their world’s fate in the balance, they must find a way to stop Eliad. Faced with an impossible choice, Brianne and Gabby must confront Eliad’s overwhelming power and their own fears, knowing their lives—and their friendship—may be the ultimate sacrifice.

CHARACTERS: (WIP/More will be added in time!)

Brianne (Bri): Brianne, or Bri, is a 15-year-old with a fiery personality and a strong sense of loyalty. She is protective, impulsive, and often finds herself in trouble, usually bringing her best friend Gabby along for the ride. Despite her recklessness, Bri remains deeply committed to making things right, no matter the cost.

Gabriella (Gabby): Gabriella, or Gabby, is the cautious and level-headed counterpart to her best friend Brianne. While Bri is outgoing and impulsive, Gabby prefers to stay in the background, often acting as the voice of reason. Her primary goal is to keep both of them out of trouble, though she often ends up reluctantly following Bri into risky situations.

Eliad: Eliad is a God with the power to see into the past, present, and future. He is the embodiment of fate—wild, unpredictable, and unwavering in his own methods. Eliad thrives on disorder, whether it is his own doing or the result of external forces, making him a formidable and dangerous entity who demands control and rarely tolerates dissent. (VA: @bendava)

Ceecee: Ceecee is Eliad's 16-year-old right hand who he took under his wing when she was 12. She looks up to him greatly and is quite possibly the only mortal who has his respect. She's a bit of a smartass and, just like Eliad, has a bit of a swollen ego. Father-daughter bonds, amirite? XD

Connor: A quieter soul with a knack for history, 16 year old Connor is one of Gabriella's friends, and a secondary character to the series. He's incredibly smart and often tries to knock some sense into Bri when she's scheming to cause trouble, but it rarely works, lmao!
