Rating Cerise Hood ships

Cerise/Raven: this is actually really cute. I definitely see Cerise pinning a little bit. But I just love the idea of them. 8/10

Cerise/Daring: even as a kid I saw them as platonic. No chemistry. Some good fics tho. I don’t like it sorry not sorry 0/10

Cerise/Cedar: I have so many hcs about them. Like Cedar finding out Cerise’s secret and then learning how to tell misleading truths and Cedar specifically becoming a real person for Cerise! Otp 10/10

Cerise/Kitty: I’ve posted about them before. Like yk how parents say that boys pick on girls because they have a crush on them? That’s what Kitty would be like to Cerise. And then in exchange Brooke being a nuisance to Kitty by narrating her feelings. 10/10

Cerise/Maddie: not my thing personally. I see them more platonically. 2/10

Cerise/Darling: athletic girls who hid that they are>>> locker room 🤨. I read a rappel fic where Darling had a crush on Apple and Cerise had a crush on Raven and then the two of them made some bad choices together. Cute 6/10

Cerise/Rosabella: I just like the idea of Rosabella being with someone ‘beastly’. 5/10

Cerise/Charlotte Step: this is such a rarepair but like in once upon a twist the clock strikes Cupid, Cupid sees Charlotte play bookball with some girls and then in Cerise and the beast Cerise plays bookball with some girls. And her and this one girl are lowkey flirting the whole time. And I like to believe that that one girl is Charlotte and I’m pretty sure this is implied because one; clock strikes Cupid and Cerise & the beast are the first and second books in the series and it is confirmed that all the miss matched fairytales can all interact with one another in Rosabella and the three bears. 9/10

Cerise/Briar: way more popular than it should be. It’s not that popular but there’s still way too many fics about them. They don’t really have any interactions and they’re just not an interesting dynamic. 2/10

Cerise/Romona: 🤮🤮🤮. So gross. Im not even putting it here for scare factor they are genuinely shipped. I talked about Cerise/Briar having too many fics but they really take the cake. The amount of fics on ao3 with them tagged is insane. -♾️/10

Cedar / Cerise / Kitty

Ik that cedrise isn’t a rarepair but the other two are. They aren’t even a crackship, more just a rarepair, but all three of them together is definitely a rarepair/crackship.

First off, Cerise and Kitty. Like their little moment in one of the og webisodes - ashghghtsisks - my heart. Ik that it was lowkey a black mailing moment but like enemies to lovers! They have potential!!

And Kitty x Cedar. In a wonderlandiful world it’s basically just Kitty, Cedar, Lizzie and Maddie and there’s so many Kitty x Cedar (kitdar?) moments. There’s a part (spoilers I guess) where Kitty is narrating Cedars thoughts and it’s so funny. Idk why they aren’t shipped more together.

Anyways this is my petition for more people to ship them!!!

What's your crackiest Ever After High rarepair and the reason you ship them?

Mine is Briar/Cerise for the sole reason that they were the only eah dolls I had for a long time and I had to make up something for them to do. Also, Briar is an outgoing girl who hides more of herself than she lets on, Cerise is an introvert who is used to keeping secrets

(Ramona/Blondie is also a fave of mine, for some reason)

Cedar/Cerise - High School AU (Art Project Arc pt. 2)

IM FINNA ABOUT TO FINISH THIS LITTLE ARC

This is from @jashtah!!! This was an AU from an ask meme, ‘you broke my heart! no really you broke the heart sculpture/model i was making for art class that’s due tomorrow KILL ME NOW! AU’! I decided that it would fit in well with the high school AU canon for these gals, sooooo I’m finally getting around to continuing that AU!!!

Brief Summary: Cerise tries (and fails) to create an artistic masterpiece for Cedar.

Cerise didn’t know what in the world she’d gotten herself into.

She hardly even knew the puppet girl, Cedar, and now she was making an entire art project for her. She couldn’t help feeling responsible for the damage though, and the look on the girl’s face when she’d noticed her shattered project was enough to break anyone’s heart. So, after getting the rundown of the assignment from her, Cerise had sent the other girl on her way, and she’d entered the art room for the first time in her entire high school career.

All in all, this had been a terrible idea. The art room was very large and confusing. Cerise had no idea how to find anything that she needed. And she wasn’t very artistic. She was more into athletics.

Cedar had said that she was making a heart sculpture, so she assumed that she would need some clay and red paint. It looked like there was some clay sitting on a countertop nearby. Cerise walked over and picked it up. She could still knead it, which probably meant that it was usable. And there, by the sink, was a bottle of red paint. Perfect. Cerise carried her supplies over to a free table and began.

It was more difficult than she’d expected to push the clay into a heart shape. Even though the concept was simple, Cerise just couldn’t get it to look right. Eventually, she just gave up, and once the lines of the sculpture were almost smooth, she got up to get a paintbrush. The clay was mostly dry by now, so she was pretty sure that she could just apply the paint. Once her slathering was done, Cerise stepped back to take a look at the finished product.

For what had been almost an hour’s worth of work, it sure didn’t look like much. It was sort of lumpy and uneven. But hopefully it was passable. Cerise grabbed a piece of notebook paper and scribbled Cedar onto it, setting it near the piece, so that that other girl could find it the next day. There. That was probably almost as good as the original.
