hi :D We are only 2 friends who have followed the work of @bamsara from the shadows (English is not our first language so there may be incoherence in this text xD) it has taken us time but finally we are encouraged to publish our small works inspired by the great work of Bamsara as a way of thanking them for sharing their great talent

clown1 : Solar lunancy is a fanfic that me and my friend love a lot and well for their birthday I wanted to give them the bound fanfic as a present, however as English was not our language I took the time to translate the fanfic to Spanish. I planned the gift 5 months before clown 2's birthday and the translation took me about 3 months, I read the fanfic several times when I was translating it and even so it had several mistakes because time was running out, but I had a lot of fun reading and translating the fanfic, and the emotion on clown 2's face was worth it.

clown2: after the beautiful gift from clown one (who introduced me to fic and bam's art) I decided to go all out and make the y/n solar lunacy jacket it was a somewhat chaotic process because I decided to dye the fabric myself, hand paint it and put the jacket together but after a few months and a lot of trial and error I think I managed to do justice to the design bam made and since I had some time left over I decided to make the freddy ears to complement the jacket.

(I had also given her the name tag as a gift a long time ago, so the cosplay is complete)

clown 1 : I met bam when I entered the Invader Zim fandom thanks to his fanfic "Cryptids, Emotions And The Possible End Of The World" I loved and still love this fic for how funny and cool it is, being this fanfic the first one I read in the fandom as well as being one of my favorites within it. However, just after bam wrote "A moment" I decided to make a small animatic drawing several scenes from the fic. The process was fun, as such I really like to make small animatics (although I don't have the same time as before). I made the animatic some time ago but after I made it I couldn't bring myself to send it until today xdd (I never knew if bam saw it).

fanart of chapter 4 of @bamsara 's Galaxy Days!! my irl got me into iz recently so ofc the next step was scouring ao3 for any and all good fic and I loved ceatpeotw so much I had to make something 🕺

I'm gonna ramble about my artistic process under the cut lmao

This piece was so weird to make bc I started it at a point where I was very frustrated with my art. Ever since I finished my senior year AP portfolio I've felt like if my art isn't improving with every piece, it's worthless and a waste of time. That made it pretty difficult to just make anything at all. Dib's face was such a massive struggle and I'm still annoyed by how massive his forehead looks but I just let it go bc it's kinda on-model for him lmao. Halfway through this piece I kinda had to step back and just mess around, doodle, and try to remember what it was like to make art that made me happy, instead of just being for a grade. All in all I'm very happy with the direction my art style went in this one ^_^ It's a lot less painterly than what I usually do and I like it a lot

Invader Zim fanart – CEATPEOTW

So... This fanart is a little old, I made it a few months ago, but I'm still a bit proud of it. It's from a scene from a fanfic that I read a while ago; beautiful, gorgeous peace of work. Now, this is made with love for a tremendous gem, I may do more, I may not, but it was an important part in my life during the time it lasted, and it will always have a special place in my memory and my HYPOTHALAMUS, because that is where we feel feelings and stuff.🫵 (But yes, let's say that I'll keep it in my heart, for more poetry/Jk)

Ahem, I will treasure it as a nice and exciting work from an amazing writer. Anyway, I'll leave the fanart here.

And yes, it's not very clean... What's more, it's on a squared paper... It's always the squared ones... But, I did it from the heart, at school. I would like to change that green-blue background for an intense red, to give more weight on the scene, but it is in traditional... So it is left for a possible redrawing in the future.

My new (old?) IZ hyperfixation has led to me binging all of Bamsara's Zim fanfiction, and WOW, this series got its claws in me from basically line one and never let me go. An absolute must read if you're a fan of Zim and Dib going through the horrible ordeal of accepting that they actually may, GASP, like each other and everything that comes with that. It's so good. So I decided I had to draw a scene from The Trees Have Seen You Savage, and then the rest kind of just… happened. Whoops.

Huge thanks to Bamsara for writing these in first place, and I hope it’s okay that I illustrated this! I may do a few others from the series too, we shall see how long the funni alium obsession consumes me

Today marks the third anniversary on the start of my favorite fanfiction ever written!

@bamsara is such a good fucking author, and I cannot begin to descriptive how much I'm in love with their work ❤️ The things they create move my feelings to the core of my heart, and I'm so happy to have found this kind of art in my personal hell and home Tumblr.

During the lockdown on 2020 I spent almost half a year isolated in my apartment in a city away from my family. My only comfort being animal crossing videos, feeding pigeons in my window and reading anything could find in here. It's an understatement to say reading Sara's work helped me to overcome a very hard time in life and I'm always going to be so very grateful for it.

Even if this story it's never fully completed I wouldn't change a thing about it and I hope they feel proud of what they have accomplished.

Sara you deserve the world! Don't ever think otherwise.

I was wondering where in the time line of the galaxy days/ cryptids series does dib learn what the Pak Zim gave him actually does?

Also maybe we get to see stich (IZ or SL) in a Halloween costume next month. I miss stitch.

Major Spoilers for Paklet AU since this was drafted for the written story but the chapter it belongs to isn't finalized or published anywhere

AFTER Galaxy Days was supposed to be another installment which would have been the last/second to last depending on the length, which would have brought upon the Intergalactic War against the Irken Empire and when Zim would have given both Dib and Gaz their Paklets.

Dib gets, uh, stabbed. Just like he was with the ghoul. You know. Really bad. Right through the gut. Yep. The kind that kills a human very quickly.

I won't tell you who does it or how he gets skewered because that's a major plot thing there, but I need you to know that the incident with the ghoul that started all this is how ends too.

✨It was foreshadowing all along✨ Or history just repeats itself when you learn nothing about taking up out-of-league battles you're far too confident, or emotionally invested about.

However despite the obvious and what is surely a catastrophic injury, Dib does not die though! Weird! It's almost as if there was something uh, keeping that from happening. It is REALLY not normal to stay alive after you get mutilated like that, much less heal within hours without so much as a scar.

Not gonna go into detail, but he figures out that the weird 'friendship' bracelet that Zim promised was just a signifier of their truce that prevented his death, and he has to figure out the extent of it all on his own because Zim isn't exactly available for him to confront about it.

(Also I might draw something for Stitch tbh, either in a Moon costume or a Gir Onsie)

@bamsara Sir I’ve read almost all of your works in AO3 and loved every single word you’ve written BUT when I read CEATPEOTW (English is not my native language and this thing is hilarious to say out loud), and you were releasing the mermaid chapters, I literally fell in love with the ending of a chapter.

“Dib pushes the laptop off of his lap watches the alien beside him ramble. “You are red when you angry. You are red when you are humiliated, red when you cry-” A shot of embarrassment runs through Dib at the mention and he tries to beat down the feeling as his alien rants. Unfortunately, his counterpart notices, and there’s almost a chuckle in Zim’s voice when he calls him out for it. “You DARE have the guts to say Zim doesn’t make sense when you don’t yourself?”

Zim raises a hand and cups Dib’s jaw and the investigator freezes, amber eyes darting to meet focused purple. Zim wears an amused grin. “ In all our battles, I hear your pathetic, puny pulse race and your face grow red with fury! But this?” He presses his claw gently into Dib’s cheek to prove his point. “This creates the same effect.””

To me it was the most intimate moment ever shared in a fic, and very few things have made me feel so flustered and shy like this did.
