"He seems like a good guy, he's very close with Natsu and them. Why do you ask?" The bar maiden asked towards the other.

“Is that so? That’s good, I’m glad that he’s fitting in with them,” Kaito replied, though part of him hoped Chase wasn’t also dragged into Natsu and team’s shenanigans by association.

“Well I’m just curious about the extent of his powers, but I don’t want to be too forward or obvious about it, like asking him for a spar,” the Ice Dragon Slayer admitted. He was sometimes quite socially awkward, especially with newcomers, but he meant well.

“So could you set me up with a job with Chase? You can add Gray into the mix too if there is room for it,” he requested of Mira. As the person he thought was closeted with organising the job board, Kaito thought she could do him that favour. It was obvious that Kaito could do with more friends, especially guy friends.

White Day 2024 [Kaito x Mira]

kaito-yuki “I’m sorry for missing Valentine’s Day, Mira. These are for you,” Kaito said as he approached her at the bar, presenting a bouquet of white flowers. His S Class job took longer than expected, but he at least made sure he wasn’t late for White Day.

"Oh no worries Kaito, your prescense is enough of a gift for me. But thank you for the present." Mirajane replied towards her partner with a smile. As she accepted the bouquet of flowers. While also presenting him a plate of his favorite food. "Here have some food, you must be starving from your trip back here." She replied towards the other, placing the bouquet in a nice vase filling it up with some water.

"You are very kind as always, Mira," Kaito replied gratefully. Then again being an S Class mage herself, she understood some S Class jobs took a lot of time. She was always considerate that way, having his favourite food on the side for when he returned.

"Thank you, I appreciate it." As Kaito dug into the food, he felt the fatigue from the job and travelling back fade, now he could hold a conversation better too as he became more attentive to his surroundings.

"How has the guild been while I was away?" he asked curiously, wondering if he missed out on anything while he was gone.

"Thanks," Kaito spoke, then was intrigued by the mention of Meredy. "Meredy? What an interesting pairing."

His curiosity aside, he was sure Mira would keep him updated. "I'll be training at Mount Hakobe if you or anyone needs me, I'll see you later," Kaito said, giving Mira a quick kiss before leaving the guild.

"Sure thing, I can ask him as soon as he returns from a joint job request. He was requested alongside Meredy, the two of them have been requested together a lot. And have been getting awefully close. I've even seen the two hang out together in their free time."

Mirajane replied towards the other with a smile. It was nice to see Kaito branch out and try to gain more friends.

“I see. If you want, we can spar sometime to test it out,” Kaito suggested, as he was curious too. “We haven’t really fought properly since, you know…”

He still felt some guilt for what he did back then, torturing Elfman to make Mira use her Satan Soul, having sided with Laxus at the Battle of Fairy Tail. But he was a changed man after his defeat by Mira, and took some time to do some soul searching. In a way, he became closer to the guild thanks to her, and he was grateful for it.

"Pretty much the same, guild brawls, usual partying. Nothing out the ordinary." Mirajane replied towards the other with a smile. While she poured herself a glass of mango juice and sat next to the other.

"Though I have been taking some time off to practice my take over magic. It has been a while since I've had to use it." The barmaiden added to her comment. As she wanted to stay in shape and hone her magic. Just in case the situation called for it.
