“Oh, right! Sorry, Kushina haha…” Minato apologised, he ended up rambling after he said that he loved her. It was a bad habit of his, feeling like he had to explain it like he did his jutsu. So he kissed her deeply on the lips, longer than usual too to make up for his blunder.

“Better?” he asked her innocently.

Minato could not be happier, spending the rest of his day with the love of his life after working hard as Hokage. With his hand holding Kushina's, he led them to Ramen Ichiraku, where they soon sat and ordered.

"What do you see in our future, Kushina?" Minato asked Kushina curiously. This was also his chance to know, so he could make it come true if it was within his power,

Kushina smiled, feeling warm in her soul. Minato was an amazing person who managed to win her heart with his kindness and tenderness. She really wanted their future child, if they had one, to be like Minato. Well, so does she. But more like Minato.

"Ramen is a great idea."

She followed him, enjoying the fact that he held her hand.

Catching Up Over Tea [Jiraiya & Minato]

“Oh it’s my treat of course! It’s rare for us to be able to catch up like this after all! Also, it’s the sensei’s right to spoil his favourite student from time to time haha!” Jiraiya insisted with a laugh, going in and then sitting down with Minato at a teahouse

“Happy New Year by the way, got any plans for the year? New Year’s resolutions?” he asked his student curiously while they waited for the tea after ordering.

(cc) Jiraiya: So, what does Kushina see in her future with you?

(cc) Minato: Well, she said a future child…

Team 7 Kakashi [Minato x Kushina, Hokage AU]

Minato looked at the potential team formations at his Hokage desk, but one in particular he focused on was the potential Team 7. It would be led by Kakashi the former genin under him, and top students Sasuke Uchiha, who was rumoured to be just as great as his older brother Itachi, and Sakura who had top grades, with his son Naruto who honestly didn’t do that great.

He was worried about Naruto, especially since Kakashi had failed all the teams before at this stage. Naruto’s chakra control was below average, though he managed to learn the Mass Shadow Clone jutsu after stealing the scroll of forbidden jutsu out of desperation to graduate from the Academy. He wondered if sealing the Nine Tails inside him was a good idea, though it did save the village from a worse disaster, and he left enough chakra in Kushina to save her too.

“Kushina,” Minato smiled at his wife as she walked in, his mind still distracted at the potential Team 7 before him. “What do you think of this team? I hope Kakashi won’t be too hard on them with his test,” he asked her, showing her their stats for her opinion. He could be overly worried at times, but Kushina’s positivity, warmth and support was there to lesson his self doubts.
