12 weeks out from nationals —> 13 weeks post-nationals. • It’s amazing what you’re capable of when you show up every day, do the little things, and focus on the long-term vs what you can do in days and weeks. • To wrap a tangible timeline around that, this is after 3 months into my 2 year plan before I think about stepping on stage. • No matter how you look at it, progress takes time. Mentally, it's been one hell of a week. Between staying on top of client work, pushing new projects ahead, shifting the direction of my business, and writing my face off, the past few days have been FUN, but exhausting. • But, when it allows for moments of quiet like this, to enjoy a delicious shot of espresso before training chest & back, I'm reminded exactly why I do what I do. • Because, my work challenges me, contributes to the lives of others, and allows me to drop everything in favour of Thursday afternoon espresso. • I understand that work means something different to everyone, but I hope that you can find challenge, and joy in whatever it is that you do.
