The expected 2024 CB1000 model has been delayed, with only limited details revealed until now. It was greenlit in Europe and new documents confirm it will come to the USA. Things were pretty mellow regarding Japanese mid-size bike development in the mid-1960’s. There were two-stroke 250’s, 350’s and a 500 from three makers and Honda started offering the CB450 about 1965. Then in late 1968 we opened our copies of Cycle and Cycle World to photos from European industry motorcycle shows and saw the Honda CB750! Four megaphone mufflers, the brilliant engine sticking out from under the candy apple tank and that glorious machined brake rotor up front. If you were riding around 1969, even if you loved British bikes or Harleys, you couldn’t help but stare.
In that era the 750cc bike, a “45,” was king and what was road raced and dirt tracked in most places. In fact the Dick Mann ridden Honda CB750 won the Daytona 200 in 1970. But Honda realized riders might want something a bit smaller, more manageable. In 1972 they offered the CB350F and CB500 Four, both in-line fours mimicking the big CB750 though with vertical cylinders. Later each was punched out to 400 and 550ccs respectively. The 350’s and 400’s were sweet, but typical of in-line fours of the era, you had an 8500 to 10,000 RPM redline and you’d better use it to get some acceleration. The CB400F’s remain very collectible with their 4 into 1 pipe and decked seat, production Cafe Racers of sorts. The more docile four pipe 350F is collectible too, but the exhaust systems are very prone to rust through and maybe one in five good bikes have stock exhausts any longer.
The 350F rolling chassis is pretty typical for the era, a mix of tubes and stampings. Like its big brothers, it has a disk brake in front, and drum in the rear, free standing tach and speedo, flip gas cap, dual seat. As 350cc bikes, this 350F, the CB/CL 350K3 and SL350 Motosports were sold in dealerships side by side in this era. The F was sold 1972 to 1974. Of all the Honda fours, the 350 is likely the smoothest running, essentially vibration free.
This 1974 Honda CB350F with an aftermarket four-into-one exhaust was donated to the National Motorcycle Museum by Suzi Bellville and Hall of Fame inductee Eddie Fisher and we’re happy to have it on display.
Specifications: Engine: In-Line Four-Cylinder SOHC Type: Air-Cooled, Wet Sump Bore & Stroke: 47mm x 50mm Displacement: 347 cc Ignition: Battery & Coil Carburetor: Four 22mm Keihins Horsepower: 34HP / 8000RPM Redline Starting: Kick & Electric Clutch: Wet, Multi-plate Transmission: 5-Speed Final Drive: Chain Driven Frame: Tubular Steel Cradle Suspension: Hydraulic Fork / Swingarm, Dual Shocks Brakes: 260mm Disk Front / 179mm Drum Rear Wheelbase: 57.5 Inches Wheels/Tires: 3.00 x 19 / 3.50 x 18 Weight: 352 Pounds, Dry

A Honda szabadjára engedi minden idők legharcosabb lódarazsát - 2025-ben jön a CB1000 Hornet és az SP változat
A sikersztori a pörgős, energiával teli, A2-es jogosítvánnyal is vezethető CB500 Hornet 2024-es érkezésével folytatódott, most pedig a modern Hornet família két legütősebb tagja, a CB1000 Hornet és a CB1000 Hornet SP kerül bevezetésre. A 2023-ban bevezetett CB750 Hornet visszahozta a legendás Hornet (magyarul lódarázs) nevet az európai köztudatba. A streetfighteres stílus, a lehengerlő erő és a pontos kezelhetőség elképesztően népszerűvé tette a modellt, 2023 értékesítési adatai alapján kijelenthetjük, hogy Európa legkedveltebb naked motorját tisztelhetjük benne. A Honda új naked zászlóshajója az intenzív gyorsulás és a rendkívül pontos kezelhetőség erős kombinációját kínálja, hogy maximális vezetési élményt nyújtson kezdve a forgalmas városi utcáktól a kanyargós hegyi utakig. A teljesítményt a félelmetes CBR1000RR Fireblade-sornégyese biztosítja (151,8 LE/111,6 kW csúcsteljesítményt ad le 11 000 fordulat/percnél és 104 Nm-t 9000 fordulat/percnél), méghozzá rövid áttételezésű váltóval. Az új, nagy torziós merevségű hídvázhoz „nagy dugattyús”, fordított Showa SFF-BP teleszkópvilla kapcsolódik, Nissin féknyergek lassítják a modellt. A Honda új zászlóshajója, a CB1000 Hornet SP verzióval együtt érkezik https://youtu.be/e0KPo4K6IP0?si=3qi92VYYJXvwbo4h - A CB1000 Hornet a CBR1000RR Fireblade négyhengeres erőforrására épül - Az új, nagy torziós merevségű acélból készült hídváz, a rövid áttételezés és a Showa felfüggesztés klasszikus Hornet kezelhetőséget biztosít - A színtiszta és agresszív streetfighter stílus a Hornet védjegyének számító keskeny derék és széles orr-rész váz köré épül, nagy teljesítményű dupla LED-fényszórókkal - Az SP változat nagy teljesítményű Öhlins felfüggesztéssel és Brembo fékekkel – ez a sportosság, a dinamizmus következő szintje A szuperkompakt, vetítőlencsés, LED-fényszórópár és a jellegzetes, szárnyakat mintázó Hornet-tank már önmagában ámulatba ejtő, de az elölről hátrafelé radikálisan elvékonyodó formaterv a látványos, minimalista stílusban fogant farokidommal és üléssel válik teljessé, s persze lódarázsszerűvé. Mindennek a stíluselemként is szolgáló, új, feketére festett hídváz ad kontrasztot, amelyhez térhálós, acél segédváz kapcsolódik. Fekete az erőforrás, a két kerék, valamint a lengőkar is, ahogy az egy ultramodern géptől elvárható. A minimalista megjelenés egyben prémium technológiákat rejt.

On the boulevard one of the big reasons why the federal government meaning mostly match proper they don't want to make the electric bike on the street work is because of the silent and Aaron Mike did say that and he hasn't addressed it and he said I should decide to make noise and people find a way for not to make noise Susan how can I make it make noise so you have to have air she makes some stupid thing that amplifies the sound of the electric motor as I can outtake I have an intake and an outtake so he's going to work hard and it might sound and it also will keep the components cool then you can rig it so you can close it and still go 80 miles instead of 85 and you only use it every once in a while but really you're going along and you are in trouble and you juice it up to 200 and you close it out and then please consider driving off you can't hear you you go off the road on exit and then you go into a trail and they don't know where you are and they can't hear you and you can still keep moving it is superb then go between yards they have no idea you're between the arts but with a dirt bike they can identify you with a Harley-Davidson they can identify you with Japanese bikes they can identify you in with a Honda like a regular one they're fairly loud is almost no motorcycle that's quiet if it is if it goes too slow this is a great idea and it's mechanical everyone will copy it for cooling
Thor Freya
You think it's a terrific idea he's been working on it and you can't make the noise mechanical like with a device or noise maker and they don't accept it but the cooling works for me I know what he means it comes in and you can hear the electric motor it'll go on to like some sort of on cone horn it's way too expel the air and it would make it weird noise and people would actually like it they like revving it and stuff like that they have a clutch and bigger motors to make bigger noise and then you can close the gates on the outfit on the intake and they think you'd be in trouble a really good close to the outside if you had to but this is a nice idea and it would not exposed to the elements that much you can face it down and it would be louder and people get hit on these things and it makes it safer
Mac daddy
I have one designed for it it makes it louder it's not wicked loud this is loud it's like a Honda cb500 if you have it way up it gets louder just like the motorcycle and the decibels are almost the same it's a little bit lower but it's loud enough for people to accept it and I can sell the design and for portion of profits I have a patent if anyone's interested you can get going on tomorrow and for real this is just a opportunity of a lifetime
Daniel
Would you need a design work and I used to paying for it but it might help us both of us
Trump
Maybe I should go in between and it was suggested I think it's a good idea
Bg
Good
Olympus
Outrageous and it took a long time but this is what it is people need money and it's starting to get tight but this idea is awesome he had in the beginning because it's the dangerous the bikes are dangerous and he knows you can cut the air out he helps make cutouts now you heard about them and you found out they give you more power we had something to do with it that's Freya and I and a few others
Thor Freya
Olympus
Well we were working on it but it's been around for a long time and they know about it and boy doesn't even get loud and it makes it more difficult they should have a stealth mode that you going to as a different mode
Hera
You just have four exhaust pipes and you run it through the second two and you have four they come out and it looks cool
Thor Freya
