Cave Tubing at Nohoch Che’en Reserve

After our adventure at the Xunantunich Mayan ruins, we changed into our swimwear and headed over to the Nohoch Che’en Reserve for our cave tubing adventure! 

King David grabbed us some tubes and we journeyed through sections of river and the thick forest towards the cave. 

The scenery was amazing!

By the time we reached the cave we were really excited! The natural beauty was overwhelming. 

Donning our life jackets and helmets, we finally got to climb into our tubes to begin our cave adventure!

We entered into complete darkness for a moment before everyone turned on their lights. King David showed us the markings on the cave walls and explained their historical significance. 

Emerging from the cave meant getting blasted with the full light of the sun! It took a moment to adjust!

King David was always ready to capture that special moment!

We had to repeat our trek through sections of river and thick land and sadly leave behind the cave. 

Cave tubing was a breathtaking experience and we highly recommend anyone who visits Belize tries it out!

01/06 - WAITOMO CAVES (2/2) After some tight squeezes and waterfall hops we reached the real reason for caving in this particular spot: the glow worms. We reached a long tunnel with high ceilings and linked up ankles to shoulders in a tube train. Then we drifted along the tunnels positively gaping at the otherworldly ceiling of this cave. Glow worms (Arachnocampa luminosa) are actually a species of fly larvae which uses glowing excrement as a sticky fishing line in order to trap insects. They spend much more time in their larval form, as the adult fly has no digestive system and has only a couple days to mate and lay eggs before the life cycle begins anew. All of the amazing photos taken of us and the caves were provided by #thelegendaryblackwaterraftingco who guided us on this amazing adventure. お絵描き配信について

おはようございます、桜月です。

本日は特に何かあったということでもありませんが、何となく思いついたことがあるのでTumblrに書こうかなという感じです。

現在色んな原稿作業に追われているわけですが、僕の描くイラストとサークルで出す新刊の宣伝・告知・発信の思いを込めて、『Cabetube』というサイトで時々イラストの作業配信をさせて頂いております！

こちらの配信について、現在告知をしているSNSはTwitterとPixivだけなのですが、試験的にこちらでも告知をしてみようかなと思いまして･･･

僕は主にブログとして活用することが多いTumblrですが、このSNSはハッシュタグ機能によってTwitterと似たような部分を持っているので、それを活用してこちらでも色々な方に発信できるんじゃないかと思いついたわけです。

何故いきなりこんな話題が出てきたのかといいますと、  先日の配信中に外国の方が見に来て下さったのですが、言葉は分からないもののお互いに翻訳サイトを活用することでお話し出来て楽しかったのと、自分が英語が話せないからといって無用に外国の方を避けることもないよなぁと感じまして･･･翻訳サイトを使うだけで何となくお話できちゃっているわけですから。誰であろうと、僕の描くイラストに対して興味を持ってくれるのは全く悪い気などしませんし、むしろ見てもらえるのは��しいというわけです！

そういった経緯がありまして、しばらくの間は配信をする際にはTumblrからも毎度告知をさせて頂こうと思います。どうぞ宜しくお願い致します！
