So I never did tell you guys about this AU I had where Mob runs away from home after the new years incident, eventually being found my Tsuchiya and brought into Claw, where they ruthessly try to train and manipulate the kindness and pacifism out of him, until one day it just all gets too much and he explodes, destroying the whole facility, which brings Mob to Shou's attention and he decides he Needs Mob by his side to defeat his father, and they basically become worsties (Mob not wanting to fight at all and fearing his powers more than ever, and Shou being. the opposite of that), until they succeed, which causes them to split basically out of the trauma of Mob truly fucking killing someone, and Shou realizing maybe he didn't want his dad completely gone after all, and then Mob basically becomes even more homeless and completely alone, until he meets Reigen who's working at a flower shop and beefing with Minegishi and their flower shop business, and tada, he has a child now I guess.... did I? Anyways-

in a better timeline where theo is actually a character and not just a plot device he and rakiel develop this weird and confusing dynamic where rakiel is still very clearly theo's older brother except for those moments where his inner ahjussi comes out and he parents theo more than his father ever did and he slowly starts taking asterion's place as theo's father figure.

neither of them really notice because 1) lee han was an only child and he's not really that aware of what is or isn't normal sibling behavior and he doesn't really care either he just sees theo craving approval and being lowkey passively suicidal and goes "is anyone gonna take care of that" and then doesn't wait for an answer before doing it himself and 2) because theo has been neglected his entire life and doesn't recognize what rakiel is doing as 'parenting' because, well, asterion never did that with him so his first experience with that kind of care and treatment is from rakiel so he automatically files it as 'hyung behavior'. so none of them actually realize when their dynamic blurs the line between siblings and parent-child.

but asterion does. just... way too late. when he's already lost his chance with not one, but both of his children. when one son is forever out of his reach and the other has filled what should've been his place with someone else. only then does he realize what his neglect and putting his title as emperor above that of father has cost him. when there's nothing he can do about it.

he wanted his sons to grow up without needing him. and they did. they don't need him anymore. and he didn't realize how terrible of a thing that was until it was far too late to fix it.

Thinkin TFA au thoughts

Skyfire starts hanging out with Cosmos more doing their little planitary research podcast. They actually end up becoming really good friends.

Cosmos introduces Skyfire to the Cybertronian version of DnD. At first he's thinking it's a wast of time/highly illogical- but eventually becomes engrossed in lore and character making. He goes to little hangouts to play and makes more friends. Possibly some enemies too. Most Autobots seem to be accepting of this ex-Decepticon, but not all.

Skyfire definitely goes into infodumping mode when Powerglide asks him how his day was. He gets totally lost and confused in it, but he's used to Skyfire going on and on about complex bio chemical algorithms and other scientific stuff. Powerglide loves listening to Skyfire drone on and on, he'll happily fall into recharge listening to him, especially after being stuck in a cramped shuttle with Dogfight grumbling all day. Powerglide is happy Skyfire is finally getting out of his shell & making some friends.
