So about them not being able to live without each other...

I've read analyses saying Eddy himself kinda desires Kevin's acceptance cause it would make it easier to be accepted by everyone, but I think more than that his rivalry comes simply from being the lowest on the totem pole and feeling a visceral schadenfreude at ruining things for the popular kid who seems to have such an easy time in life. So he LOVES aggravating Kevin and trying to find ways to potentially make a fool of him in front of the others or undermine his cool facade This Won't Hurt An Ed). I feel like maybe Kevin would miss Eddy more than viceversa. Cause Eddy's outcast status means he's got nothing to lose, he's got no way but up, and his main detractor being absent would help him climb up the ladder - you could argue Kevin is mainly useful as a "hater", an obstacle that pushes Eddy's motivation to keep going against the tide. Meanwhile Kevin needs the Eds and Eddy in particular to prop himself up, his bully behavior comes out of insecurity but luckily for him, Eddy's activities are often dishonest, so he can sometimes paint himself as a defender of the cul-de-sac from scams. But more often than not, he sabotages and puts Eddy down because he's jealous of the attention (case in point Your Ed Here). What a little prick... I still love him tho lol. Eddy being gone would expose Kevin's negative traits more to the other kids (selfish, insensitive and what not) and make him risk losing his friendships, which are generally more superficial than the brotherly bond the Eds have (what if he's also subconsciously jealous about that? mmm...)

On a more positive note, IF we imagine they might have some fondness for each other deep down, especially if they get on friendlier terms post-BPS... in this case it's interest to imagine how they would react to one of them being gone. Ironically I think they would miss each other less. Because they are now more comfortable with each other and themselves, and they don't need a friendship because they already have other people who are close to them that they love. They leave each other space, and if they end up losing touch, at some point they might meet up again, perhaps accidentally, and it would be a very pleasant "hey let's go have a drink and laugh at our stories of childhood" type of thing. Although I have a bias cause I love the idea of them effectively staying in touch as good friends.

She didn’t give a source for this last part (I presume she was spotted at the Sydney show because the article says the same). The fan says “apparently” about the shows and the breakfast.

So I went to Yan Yan’s instagram to track if it would even be possible for her and Harry to have hooked up in the US (I obviously don’t believe it, but would the narrative fit?)

Well, Harry was “dating” O until November, correct? Yan Yan was in New York until early November, then she went to a Chanel event in Miami for a few days, then back to NYC until early December. She posted almost every day, tagged her locations and the captions are like “today I took a stroll” or “finally arrived in Miami.” Harry was in LA the entirety of November with his residency, until very late November when he went to his Latin American leg of tour, which finished in mid December. Harry did a pit stop in LA after Brazil (AFTER Yan Yan was back in NYC), then straight to London, where he stayed until late January, then flew to LA for the postponed shows and the Grammys. Yan Yan went to Australia in mid January and has been there ever since.

Harry followed Yan Yan in 2020, so maybe they hooked up before O? Wrong, Yan Yan was in a relationship with Nathan Jolliffe, ever since 2017, they broke up in July 2022. From my experience, the word ผัว /pua/ is notoriously confusing to translate in English because it's a colloquial expression for a (longterm) male partner that can denote 'husband' (the formal expression is สามี /saa mee/) but doesn't necessarily have to be a married partner.

Longer unnecessary explanation of the word ผัว /pua/ under the cut below cause I already feel obnoxious enough 🌚 All of that to say though- it's another PoohPavel vs. PavelPooh situation hence why Pavel says he's the hubby (ผัว).

It's not the first time the word has come up btw: I remember Pavel calling Pooh ผัวเด็ก /pua dek/ (= young(er) man/hubby) and the both of them bringing up fans' funny tweets re: Charlie's death, namely that Babe should find himself a new man (ผัว) lol

Of course none of this contradicts the possibility of a special episode and a wedding, I just mean to say that Pavel isn't alluding to that 🙏 He's just being his usual self, playing with and teasing fans

ผัว /pua/ is a pair with เมีย /mia/, as in ผัวเมีย /pua mia/ = (married) couple, husband and wife. The same thing applies to เมีย /mia/ = a (longterm) female partner but not necessarily married (the formal expression for 'wife' is ภรรยา /pan ra yaa/).

I'm pretty sure English can do this too ('He's my man', 'I need to find myself a man' etc.)?? But I like to compare it to how, in German, people will call someone's male partner just 'Mann' or diminutives thereof (can denote 'husband', doesn't necessarily have to be married though, I've certainly heard colleagues refer to their boyfriends as such). In German that works for wife/woman as well but I don't know how to explain this for non-German speakers 🥴เมีย /mia/, for example, is etymologically linked to ตัวเมีย /dtuua mia/ (= female animal) and fellow German speakers will recognize the similarity to Weib->Weibchen (/Frau->Frauchen) and Mann->Männchen.

In rl gay/queer spaces, I've noticed that the word ผัว /pua/ seems to have the connotation of 'the one who takes care of the other one', be it in terms of behavior, money, sexual position, dominance, whatever - I'm clearly not an expert because I'm not a native speaker so take this with a grain of salt, please!! Example off the top of my head: P'Jojo in that Last Twilight reaction to ep. 6 saying that having a man (ผัว) like Mork would be lucky.

Slight tangent but I wanted to put the use of these words in BL into perspective as well: In The Eclipse, for example, they took that old trope of calling one guy in an mlm couple the 'wife' (เมีย) and had Aye use it to tease Akk. In LITA, on the other hand, it's only used in jest at first, like Payu telling Rain to introduce himself as Payu's 'wife' (เมีย) at the races so people will know who he belongs to. But then Rain calls himself เมีย /mia/ when he's trying to cheer up Payu in ep.6, later on both tops refer to their partners as เมีย /mia/ in earnest while talking about them, and ผัว /pua/ is also the word Payu tries to reinforce the difference to with regard to พ่อ /por/ (= father, daddy) in the infamous couch NC. Issa whole thing in that show.

So with the Hannah (Trents gf) drama:

-At her birthday party her friends with public accounts put up pics with Trent which got re posted. They assumed that Andre and Alice page were the ones who sent to a Trent page and all the friends blocked their only fan account. One friend didn’t get many entries so asked a Trent page (THE ONLY FAN PAGE TRENT FOLLOWS) to promote which she did and followed her, once giveaway was over they went and unfollowed. -Hannah would use coloured emojis on her page and comment on her friends accounts etc. Loads of fans called her out for this and for months and months she carried on. -Trent followed Hannahs PT page, she gained loads of followers and then she went and removed every single Trent and LFC page on there but went back on public and fans were like why block and remove but then go back public, it’s like she’s never wanted a relationship with the fans. -There are multiple pics where Hannah has been blackfishing where she’s even darker than Trent and it’s angered everyone for obvious reasons. -Recently there’s been tweets found of Hannah’s best friend using the N word (she’s white) and it’s like Trents out her preaching about racism yet surrounding himself with people like that. Her friends are obvious tories like Hannah and Halloween dress up like trump etc so as you can imagine most LFC fans HATE tories and it’s confusing as she’s a whole ass Tory. -Recently someone came to tumblr and said they have Hannah’s priv pics which Hannah them immediately went and removed Saffie Khan (Curtis gf) as if she was the one passing around pics. This made so many people confused as Saffie is LOVED by LFC fandom and it’s like Saffie would be the last to be sending around private pics of another wag.
