The thing is. Mafia boss is never treated as sympathetically as any other bosses. Directors are just some celebirdies and Snatcher gets BFF contracted. It is some mafia goon that clings to the ship and not him, and it isnt that he is there and he doesnt have a speaking role like Cooking Cat (unless im blind), he isnt present in the scene in any capacity, no one is holding his jar. Even in the cut cafe scene he is like HEY?? I DIED?? and no one gives a darn. He willingly causes harm like Snatcher EXCEPT Snatcher doesn't seem to hunt people outside, its fae hospitality bullshit but he stays on his fucking lane. Mafia Boss' backstory, his motivation is that he got bored so he invaded an island and At Most Charitable Interpretation mass deported its locals.

Fuck, the fact you can even offer the time piece is enough evidence that Mu is in the right but thats where we leave off!!!!

i'm not in particularly sure what post of mine this is responding to (if at all and it's maybe just a random rambling!) so i'm gonna try and assume this was something i said about mafia boss' character but if it's not what i think it is i apologize-

but if this is about how mafia boss' character doesn't get much of anything compared to the other characters, i do for sure agree. like i am not heavily invested in mafia boss' character myself (he's mostly just a funny bastard guy tm to me; i don't necessarily hate him by any means just what he did i'm not a fan of bc. i love mu gjsfjafjjcwjc) BUT i do think it's lame as hell that compared to the other antagonists he gets very little to his character and doesn't really have much a motivation for anything beyond like. being bored one day and maybe the mafia's population problem. and like, if we're talking cut content, he also had one interesting aspect to his character which was literally ONE LINE before his boss fight that mentioned he saw the time pieces a long time ago and for some reason the devs cut it? but left grooves' line IN about how he saw one a long time ago?? weirdly inconsistent and rather unfair. (tho that like mb says is canon in my mind still)

and yeah, everyone else is also treated as though they are worth sympathy too but he's kinda cast aside! which on one hand i'm like okay this game is just being silly but also it does make me feel a lil bit bad for him tbh.... even though i do think he deserved some consequences for what he did (like i think all the antagonists do)

i definitely feel really sorry for mafia boss fans how dirty his character was done and i'm honestly all for people giving him more depth too. unfortunately i personally can't say what i think about the depth of his character is for me because if i'm honest, i don't really think much about him as a character on that level. but it really does suck that he's usually treated as just the butt of the joke by the game and not taken seriously as a character (despite the severity of his actions and also what he ends up being punished with)

actor showcase! everyone loves kurapika which, same 

ah so the director of this musical also directed the sailor moon musicals, which i didnt know existed but of course that exists...thats funny considering the hxh mangaka is married to the sailor moon mangaka 

anyways that was fun honestly!!!! i fuckgin love musicals, and musical adaptations of non-musical source materials can be like, SO different tonally, but this honestly felt like a fun filler 

it was really interesting seeing something based on the canon from this early on - as i said above, some of the characterizations (like the zoldycks) seems a bit different than we’re used to, but others were spot on - like hisoka only showing up intermittently to sow chaos and do nothing else vhjkadhbfhkjdsfnj im assuming the yorknew arc hadnt happened at this point, but hisokas actions in this musical were hilariously similar to how he acted in the yorknew arc, so, props. 

plus it was cool to see the ‘what if’ factor w/hisoka and illumi also being there, espec illumi interacting w/killua bc its so wildly different from how killua reacts to any of his other family members - hes clearly scared of illumi, in a way he isnt w/anyone else, and that was done well here w/the scene where illumi threatens killua’s friends to get killua to listen to him

also the angst was honestly great, and there was some REALLY sweet wholesome parts that i loved. and the music wasnt half bad either!!

i think the VAs did a great job playing the characters - hisokas VA was especially great (and i really loved kurapika too). gons hair was not very similar to how it looks in the show so it was a little more obvious that he was being played by a grown woman, but still a great performance. 

anyways fun times, i love musicals and this was a fun ole 2000s filler shounen musical adaptation

Its the thing i was teasing at in that post last night, and technically for like... four months? five? huh its been a bit since i second changed my url huh. Im not gonna go check or anything. If I were a bit more patient i wouldve waited for the archive collection become canon but im not. funfacterdroid is just more of my bran! Anyway! This post is my first impressions and opinions on each song on Back to the Egg! The Wings album i temporarily renamed myself after. (told ya i was gonna ramble wasnt i ydbfyufjd). It also happens to be the only wings album i havent listened to yet. And sure theres a bunch of singles and b-sides i havent listened to either, but this is the last one! I figured it should get some of its own treatment! I know that its gonna sound different to London Town and the two before it, cause McCulloch and English arent here. I’ve also heard that this album is bad and people called Paul a sellout because he transitioned to New Wave. New Wave is my favorite genre and I guess Wings werent ever that far from it? But they’re still a rock band at heart so i dont know how that change is going to fare. Enough introduction: Lets just go track by track! -Side One: Sunny Side Up-

Reception: Its just some radio garble, an instrumental meant to introduce the album. dont really have any opinions on it. Getting Closer: JAHBUDHSAUHJDHS WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! I didnt expect such a threatening title to be so upbeat. Like... opposite of Beware My Love. I do think its odd that there is barely any backup singing? Its not horrible just weird that this song, out of all the openers, doesnt. That outro is very much meant to be like a darker part of the song, like the dream sequence from A Day In The Life, but god dammit this song is just so upbeat! so weirdly cheerful and gentle! And... only 3 minutes? Rockshow and Jet were 4... eh those albums had a lot less songs, this one has 13 not counting Reception! Same as London Town, which i also really like! We’re Open Tonight: Oooohhh!! Very soft, I think I know what its about but when taken literally, to me it sounds like a quaint little shop trying to lure you in, sinisterly. I think the bass is making it sound evil to me, but thats a great thing! Clearly its trying to be like another I’m Carrying but that song fucking sucks!!!!!! I also really like how its only 1 minute, something so haunting about it. Not sure if thats positive or negative but the songs cool! Spin It On: hHEHEYEHY!! Getting Closer.... 2! kinda. Its much much faster and i can barely understand the words hes saying... or what hes spinning. The backing vocals are really cool though. the lyrics mention a pinball table? Y.. you know pinball doesn't spin right? it falls.... Questionable lyrics aside, theres really not a lot of SPEEDY Wings songs! Glad that one of the few is also extremely good!

Again and Again and Again: WOW OKAY! this is sung by denny, all of these songs start pretty fast unlike a good chunk of their past work, but i really like that! But it also means i cannot process a single thing denny is saying, i think he said something about a school? and being in a bad situation? ah whatever. Denny used to be in an R&B band and i really think thats going to work here! This isnt an exactly a Rhythm-y or Bluesey song, but He’s clearly having fun! thats why i love wings in general, its easy to tell that the band was having fun recording a song! Old Siam, Sir: A-hmm. Paul’s doing his squeaky voice again... I guess that can work sometimes but its absolutely not complimenting the piano in the background. Also, I feel like a squeaky voice wouldnt work the best for a story song. A story thats pretty incomprehensible too? Who is this lady! What the fuck is this village!! This is the song you wanted to make 4 minutes? and it fades out too... how much did they record... Arrow Through Me: So this is the one that the critics liked? Its the most synth heavy which i understand why people like, I like synths too! I like how the bass (which i think is also from a synth?) lines up perfectly with the horns! Its alright, it might grow on me later, but now its just a passable song. One i wouldnt skip. Plus I really like the reverb effects, the whole album has em but this one really makes use!! Kinda bad overall though.

-Side Two: Over Easy- Rockestra Theme: Just an instrumental. But one thats really important to music history! I don’t actually know the full story to this one, but I do know that i really like it! Plus the vocal effects on Paul’s... Scatting i guess you could call it? Whatever it is, it works! To You: This sounds... eerily like Getting Closer. But bad... Eh I like that organ. Not much to say really... theres only like one verse. After the Ball / Million Miles: Oh cool another medley. Last one we got was two albums ago! I guess since this is technically two songs id have to... review them both? After the Ball is exactly what it sounds like. A gentle rock song about seeing your love after a party :)! Pretty standard for wings. Million Miles! Sounds a lot like After the Ball but with an accordian? Fuck I’m not complaining. But also who the fuck is Deo. Winter Rose / Love Awake: Uh- Something is,,, wrong with Paul’s voice. like he damaged it? I mean its not horrible it just kinda takes me out of the emersion? Oh we’re already on Love Awake! his voice is fine now..! Man this song is mediocre! No wonder the 70s are regarded as lame./lh Weird that Linda isn’t singing backup here? Or if she is that Denny’s voice is just drowning her out. Winter Rose itself is kinda lame but its... sweeter I guess?  The Broadcast: SINISTER!!!!!!! I do not know who is talking but this sounds... dystopian. I don’t even know what the poem is about its just... the whole song is slightly off. But i mean that in a good way! So Glad to See You Here: MAN! They were trying so hard to be punk... Okay as a punk song this sounds horrible! But as a song in general i like it! It’s not mixed the best but i really like the lyrics! And I-HOLY SHIT WE’RE OPEN TONIGHT PART TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really didnt expect that,,, thats.... genuinely cool! Baby’s Request: Oh the finale! H..huh... Jazzy! And its about going to sleep.. i think? Regardless, Paul’s good at writing songs to fall asleep to, this isnt an exception at all!! Although it is weird that at the end the same horn plays as the one in Thrillington’s Monkberry Moon Delight... Its probably just a coincidence, i thought it was funny though. ---- Okay! Overall, I liked Sunny Side-Up more as a whole since i like 4/6 of its songs, but MAN So Glad to See You Here and Baby’s Request are REALLLY GOOD-But then again. I only listened to all of these songs once, and i wont listen to them again until ive finished writing this post, just to keep my first impressions fresh. I don’t really know what else to say that album was fun as hell! So I’d give Back To The Egg a... 7.8/10! I really didnt expect to like it this much. even though New Wave is my favorite music genre, i didnt think paul would be able to do it justice! Especially since the genre was just starting itself up... heh.... hope it gets archived soon.

OOC: so here's what goes down for this au alright! :3 buckle up everybody cause i have put a LOT of thought into this one XD  like nana and torino dont meet toshinori at all and toshi goes off to be like one of the first quirkless heroes so he's also like an underground type of hero like aizawa. sunshine man gonna batman his way into being a hero! so the fight with afo we see in that small short animation when toshi had to go to america at the end of his year at u.a still happens but its torino fleeing to america with nana in tow as she barely survives the encounter with afo there so they are there for a few years while she recovers her strength and does hero work there but she can't use ofa at its max anymore due to injuries. so she and torino have the serious discussion of passing it on so in case afo follows after them then the quirk would be safe for the time being. her meeting david was by pure chance, she was looking for someone to fix her hero costume and they just happened to run into each other. hearing about the work he's done she asks him to fix the costume and they become friends in a way like how toshi and david were and david making gear for nana to make it easier for her to use ofa and not aggravate injuries to incorporate it into her hero costume design. remember how i mentioned like afo coming after nana and torino? well he does end up coming after them to america after time has passed with david and nana getting to know each other and this time afo makes sure nana wont be able to make it. so david ends up finding her pinned under rubble and bleeding out. david trying to slow the bleeding so he can get her out and get help but nana just forces david to eat her hair so that ofa is passed onto him. like david wasn't even THOUGHT of to receive the quirk but nana knows she wont make it so david will have to do for getting the quirk which like until confirmed i also headcanon that one of the quirks in ofa is a durability type of quirk. cause for toshi to know that the quirk would rip izuku apart if his body wasn't ready was for it to happen to one of the previous user so i'm saying it was either black whip or the user before nana when they find out that happens. and the durability quirk is what saves david's body from being pulled apart when he inherits ofa because his body aint nowhere near ready to get that kind of power. so after david eats her hair nana tells him to go find torino to tell him what happened and he will help him from there, giving him a soft smile before she passes on, leaving david to go find torino with her torn and beaten cape in his hands to explain what had happened. torino helping david with learning how to control and use ofa once his body can handle it and he has light blue sparks coming off of him when he uses it as he finishes up with his college stuff which will help him with making his own hero outfits and support gear if needed. they would find out about the other quirks earlier on which i see david being able to adapt to black whip rather easy because of his bendy finger quirk. and because ofa amplifies the quirks of the previous users like it could amplify bendy fingers to where he could use it on his whole limb or the entire body even. 1- Pass On/Stockpiling 2- ??/speed or quicker react time? 3- ??/endurance? 4- Danger Sense 5- Black Whip 6- ??/ durability? 7- Float 8- Quirkless/Bendy Fingers in David's case 9- Quirkless/ For Izuku  this being me filling in the blanks on the other possible quirks until confirmation so like the years pass with david honing ofa and unlocking the quirks inside of it, getting stronger and becoming the number one hero in this case, his hero name being 'shield' off his last name. david being the kind of hero that knows the current system society has sucks and wants to show that nobody is above the consequences of their actions. like if he ever found out about what enji did then he would make it his mission to make sure that he pays for it like 'this is one thing this society wont sweep under the rug' and that's if enji followed the same things that he did in canon with him in this au.   now we are getting to the fight with afo and david and david legit would do far more damage to afo then toshi did. he's smarter, got access to the other quirks, smaller which makes him a harder target to hit for afo and david would make sure afo is dead.

like afo seeing this is going to be a serious fight when seeing david like this at some point during that fight the only words leaving david being "YOU WONT ESCAPE THIS TIME" Of course david wouldnt escape from the fight unscathed, not injured to the point toshi had been but still pretty messed up none the less. like to make this be dark and showing how far david was willing to go to make sure afo didnt escape this time was afo had got one of david's arms caught and was rushing towards him with an attack to kill but didnt see David then using black whip to not break his caught arm but SEVER it by crushing it and yanking himself free the rest of the way with his other arm using black whip to move out of the way.   david would still continue to do hero work after making sure afo is dead and he's recovered, not letting the fact he's down an arm slow him down at all. he has a prosthetic arm made he could use easy he just never does because he hasn't been slowed down by the loss at all. then things would play out a lot like they would in canon with david saving izuku from the hentai villain (sludge villain from epsidoe 2 & 3 cause we all know what it looked like there is why i call them that) and izuku asking if he can be a hero david not being harsh with it like toshi had with saying no he can't but is still going to be real with izuku on it like   David: wont lie to ya kid some villains just can't be beat without powers but i wont say it's impossible to be a hero without a quirk. a quirk isn't what makes a hero it's what they have in here that really is what makes a hero *pointing to his heart* i mean i got bendy fingers for a quirk pretty lame quirk compared to all the others out there but look at how far i got. if someone like me can make it in this society of heroes then you can find a way to make it work for you so like things would stay close to canon but with obvious variations to the story with david being the holder of ofa cause he wouldnt have a time limit on the use of it like toshi did.   david would be better equipped to help izuku better once the quirks start appearing because he's experienced them himself and would bring torino in to help much sooner, most likely during the training for the u.a exams. izuku definitely being horrified along with the rest of the class when they would discover how david lost his arm cause they'd know he lost it to a villain but they did not expect david doing it to himself and like he'd be like aizawa in a way with being a teacher, not wanting to crush the kids dreams halfway but also is going to be real about how things will be in this line of work so he would be in the middle of like aizawa and mic in terms of how he is teaching being real like aizawa but also trying to keep spirits up like mic does.he'd immediately be stepping in when the first bakugo vs deku fight got heated like it did just getting black whip to separate the two of them which would probably get some respect from bakugo because he would be the first one to seriously stop his actions towards izuku which nobody else has really done thus far.   david just slapping him on the back of the head with black whip if he goes too far or actively yanks him away from izuku like 'you listen here the world doesnt fucking revolve around you loud mouth! look youre going to have to accept that theres always going to be someone better then you but that gives you room to improve and be even better then before as long as you have something to motivate you' And that gets almost instant respect from Katsuki Allows him some more critical thinking. david taking time to focus on bakugo outside of class to work on himself and improve because mental health is always important to him so if any of his students need it he'll be right there.   helped Izuku with his confidence and self-sacrificing issues,being right there for iida when his brother gets hurt with the stain incident, Help Shoto with his own issues/smack sense into Endeavor. moment he sees mineta trying some pervy shit like 'get the fuck out of this class and out of this damn course until your actually ready to act like a decent person and not some horny dog' pointing to the door. david being the hero that will say nobody is above consequences and will make sure that people are heard regardless of if they’re hero or villain.

ooooh ive been waiting for this one. We watched this together on discord so you know my general feelings but Im happy i got this ask lol.

The new movie that everyone seems to love and adore.... that I dont. It was a pretty middle of the ground, meh overrated af movie. Not bad, just nothing special. I enjoyed watching it sure, but not something I have an inkling to return to anytime soon if ever. It was just ‘there’ for me. 

First, I’ll say the good stuff. The visuals looked really pretty. Nobody was THAT out of character of the existing cast (save for the ending), which i feel weird to have to even mention it as a positive, but nothing really stood out to me as a defining moment for the little cast we had besides Goku’s “youre not a bad guy, i can tell” or w/e. SUPER SAIYAN 1 IS STILL GOAT. It looked soooo good in this movie i wish we couldve kept it the whole time instead of Blue. But i will say, Blue looked much better in this movie than the series. The darker-blue with the lighter blue eyes was a nice change from instead of the ugly bluish-green the series did. Also the aura looked better. Backgrounds like the ice area and even Planet Vegeta were amazing. Action was great too. little Bulla was cute. The OST i liked (the chanting really grew on me) and Blizzard is a banger i love that song. Oh and the aritisic license they took for the fusion scene with the reds and blues spiraling together was great

Anyway thats all the positives I have lmaoo

This film includes Minus and I already went in depth on why I hate Minus with a passion and why it’s the worst thing to come out of modern Dragon so yeah moving on. But the fact that they devoted screentime to Gokus backstory which ultimately served no purpose to the story of the film and couldve been used more valuably elsewhere. 

I said the action was good, and it was, but it almost too good. At times it was so fast to tell that was going on and really lessened the impact for me. Like when they went into the other dimension or whatever, Gogeta went blue and Broly went LSSJ (idc if the name is different name, itll always be legendary SSJ to me lmao) so ast it was a blink and you miss it moment. like what? those moments shouldve been given even a little bit of focus. 

Next the cast. Goku and Vegeta. AGAIN. snorefest. no Gohan, Piccolo is just there to show them the fusion, Goten and Trunks are still kids and look like babies (and Pilaf gang is with them which is another can of worms), no Android 17, who the series established as one of the top 4 fighters on Earth. 

Do we get any of that? Nope. Just the two Blue and Bluer fucking again and again I. dont. care. anymore. Their dynamic is so boring and played out id rather watch paint dry. It was fun in Buu Saga, hell it was even fun in GT, but DBS constantly forcing this dynamic and Vegeta as the second Main Character needs to fucking STOOOP. Toei and Toriyama has no idea how to further Vegeta’s character because theyre stuck in this infinite loop. 

Vegeta doesnt want to help Goku, he mentions Bulma and/or Trunks, Vegeta blushes, and then he decides to help. THAT HAPPENED LIKE SIX TIMES IN DBS ALONE. It happened in Buu saga as well, but it organically worked cause it was the first time but Bulma and Trunks were ALREADY DEAD/ABSORBED. The look on his face wasnt blushy or pouting for a gag, dude was legit shocked. I rag on Vegeta but he had some legit great moments in the early arcs and later parts of Buu Saga. Anyway im off track. They repeat that same exact character moment OVER AND OVER. cant tell you how many times we had “my Bulma, my bulla, my Trunks, my cabba” in the Tournament of Power alone, and this movie is no different.

DO SOMETHING ELSE FFS

Then we have Broly. ohhhhhh boooy Broly. if you can even call this version of him Broly. His backstory is kinda the same as original movie 8/Broly LSSJ, but its more tragic becuase according to most fans, if youre background is a sobstory, that equals better character. NO. sure it could, but that trope was so worn out so long ago I hate it. “waaa his life was bad, hes not a bad guy” bruh i dont care thats not Broly. just make an OC if you wanna do that. but nope. gotta use the marketing! (More on that later)

People like to criticize Z Broly as “he hates Goku cause he cried” or “all he says is Kakarot” which both are false. On the first point, Broly is a psychopath. He was stabbed as an infant and left to die along with Paragus cause he was too powerful. Then that same day Planet Vegeta explodes practically on top of them. The rest of his life hes basically either being controlled or on a rampage. So that one moment of peace is “ruined” by Goku in a sense cause he subconsciously associates that with Goku. On the second point, Broly was already mentally unstable and then nearly dying, getting caught in the explosion of a SECOND PLANET and then being frozen for seven years will fuck anyone up in the head. Z Broly in the original movie was sadistic af and he had a lot of memorable moments and lines that werent just screaming Kakarot, that Second Coming made him infamous for. 

New Broly is legit a man-baby. People talk about old Broly having no personality and this new version having a deep character, but I dont see it. He acts like a child when hes with Cheelai and Lemo and then once the fighting starts he doesnt say a single word but yell. SOUND FAMILIAR?? But he gets a pass because the canon police says so right??? fuck off. New Broly is boring. Im tired of trying to make the Saiyans into ThEyRe noT aLl BaD sEe The SaIyAns ArE AcTuAlLy GoOd!!!11111 ugh i hate it. keep Broly a psycho and keep Bardock a prick. even that guy that went with Buzz Lightyear I mean Paragus was a sweet guy who couldnt fight because of course he was. At least they kept Paragus being a prick when he killed him. Tho his death was lame. 

Cheelai’s overrated af. Shes just green bulma lmao. and the fact that they included the “big soft-spoken man gets mad and saves girl from drunk lowkey-rapey pervert” trope just had me roll my eyes like dude stop. Lemo was fine? Nothing against him but didnt do much for me either.

FUCK. FREEZA. i went over this one before too so ill be quick with this as well. I hate hate hate the fact that they brought him back not once but twice in DBS, but even worse that they left him alive to do whatever tf he wants including going back to mass murdering people and expanding his army again. Goku and Vegeta just LET HIM LIVE. Why tf did they go all out and attack Broly, but not Freeza? when one of them was fighting Broly th other easily could have taken out freeza but nope we need a token villain like Joker or Skeletor cause unoriginality. Even at the end, Gogeta does a full power blast to wipe Broly tf out, but when Freeza tries to kill Cheelai and Lemo (two innocent people, feelings on them aside) Gogeta basically just shakes his finger like nuh-uh! dont do that! and then he flies off. Just let this mfer die already im sick of seeing his ass. FUCK I HATE IT SO MUCH GFGFFGFGFGF

Lastly this movie is legitimately Dragon Ball Fanservice The Movie. 

Gogeta vs Broly, which the games have been doing since fucking 2003, is the main point of this film. Theres no originality whatsoever. Minus is discount Father of Goku special, and then its a mashup of Broly LSSJ and Fusion Reborn (both of which are superior movies imo). This creatively banrkupt shell of a franchise cant think of anything new, so they legit remake an old movie, through in fusions because that sells like hotcakes, and make the animation pretty because thats all that matters.

Imo, this movie, like 99% of Super, is all flash and flair but no substance at all. At least this movie looked nice. unlike the show.

Randomly, i do like the misdirect involved in Kaine's backstory. Like you think that the people of the Aerie hate her and treat her as a monster because of her Shade-arm, but no that all happened AFTER they treated her like shit. They were just bigoted against a small child for being born intersex. She only got her Shade powers as a consequence of this shit village pushing her and her grandma to the edge of the forest and doing nothing to help when they were attacked by shades. Kaine was treated like a monster, so she became one in order to live. And she used that power to help people, even as she was treated as EVEN MORE of a monster because of it! kaine is so damn strong. She has every right to be a goddamn tsundere when her life was so shitty, god...

Tho i still kinda dont understand what exactly happened with Tyrann, tho? Like at first i thought the shade that possessed her was the same one that killed her grandma, but no that was apparantly the lizard boss you defeat shortly after meeting her. So where did Tyrann come from and why did he decide to save this kid and possess her body? I hope its not something like 'oh she was indeed born cursed and he was always trapped in her soul until that moment awakened him'. Like i mean that could have a bit of problematic connotations since i mean this is a male character possessing a female one and itd be messed up if they said she was only intersex because of the possession or something. Instead of just the fact that many women across the world are born this way and it doesnt make them any less of a woman.

Anyway its still not exactly a good representation of intersex people because of the whole fetishization of her and the DAMN STUPID excuse that she likes wearing lingerie 24/7 because it makes her feel 'more like a real woman'. :P But still man its literally the only case i've ever seen of an intersex character who's just intersex, yknow? Like not a 'magic alien whose species is always like this' or 'a magic fusion of a cis man and cis woman' or some other fantasy excuse to portray a real person in a way that validates that they dont exist in real life. Nonbinary people often get the same treatment, since conflating gender and biological sex is a big bigoted cliche, sigh. Like man intersex people have the exact same rates of being queer as anyone else, there is literally no correlation between genetalia and being more likely to be trans. Execpt that intersex people end up with very similar types of predjudice and hell, because of the way society treats them. The absolutely disgusting medically accepted practise of amputating functional genetalia and tertiary sexual characteristics from LITERAL ONE DAY OLD BABIES because they're intersex is just so fuckin messed up! And most of the time these kids are never even told by their parents that this was done to them, so they just grow up with all these health problems and dysphoria while being gaslit about the cause of them. Like seriously when you're rolling a damn dice on which gender to turn your kid into with goddamn invasive plastic surgery, of course its gonna be wrong half the time! You're just picking what they fuckin 'look like', before theyre even old enough to know! Its so relateable to the trans expperience yet EVEN WORSE because you know your parents knew ALL ALONG and they consented to mutilating you to try and "fix" it! There's so much real life predjudice against intersex people and honestky i would say there's even less awareness or acceptance than for trans and gay people.

So yeah its REALLY IMPORTANT to have positive and realistic representation of intersex people. And not just lame corner-cutting where the character is technically intersex yet the story treats it like an impossible fantasy thing and refuses to address any of the real life issues these people face. So yeah man at least Nier does indeed have an intersex character who is indeed intersex and is canonically stated to have been born this way and also canonically stated to be a real woman and only villains treat her as anything less. But it still sucks that the positivity about her also escalates into gross 'lol f/uta sex object' stuff. *sigh* Again, another way the predjudiced depiction of nonbinary trans people gets mashed into the same thing by bigots. And hell there's also the conflation of cis gay men with trans women, because seriously bigots have no damn concept of any sort of reality, apparantly...

Gah the whole thing pisses me off! It also sucks how its hard to represent intersex people in anything except an M-rated game like Nier. (Tho kinda ironic that they can show all this gore and sex but still dance around in metaphors when explaining this..) Like I mean its absolutely possible to talk about being intersex without talking about how people have sex, like seriously saying otherwise would be just as bigoted as saying trans people or gay people are inherantly sexual. But to an audience of cis people who dont know much about LGBTQ community terms it would be kinda hard to make it clear when a character is intersex rather than trans or nonbinary. Like before i read the artbook details i thought Kaine was just a DMAB trans woman based on how its described ingame. And saying 'someone who is both a man and a woman' would be implying intersex and nonbinary people are the same thing, when most intersex people still identify as male or female rather than nonbinary.

Like the only time i've seen intersex representation handled more clearly and more canonically confirmed than Kaine was Angel in DDS2. It was a really good way of explaining it respectfully to a cis audience, just "Angel is a woman but she's both Sera's mother and father". (Due to some complicated in-universe sci fi science where she could extract both her sperm and egg cells and use them to make a clone of herself that could telepathically communicate with the sun. This story is kinda weird lol.) But on the other hand i dont really count that as much of good representation as Kaine, since this one singular sentence about her being intersex is very hidden in an optional area. Aside from that all you get is characters mentioning how she has an 'androgenous beauty' and her boss battle transformation is designed to look 'half male half female'. (Tho at least its 100% tasteful and just a nonsexualized monster vaguely shaped like a dress and a trenchcoat split down the middle, with half lipstick.) Oh and yeah also she's a friggin villain and a manipulative abusive parent, so yeah. She is a synpathetic villain and she's apparantly reincarnated into a happy life with her dead boyfriend at the end, but still she's the primary evil force for 75% of the whole series and never atones for what she did to her daughter.

So yeah sorry this just turned into a rant about how the Two Only Intersex Characters In All Of Fiction So Far are kinda not perfect, and also both from pretty old games too. I really hope i can find some more representation someday, sigh...

1.How does your OC react when their rival is grovelling at their feet for their life? Xam: he would probably feel like garbage cause his rival is max and he tries really hard not to push her that far. He would get down at her level and help her back up as silently as possible cause holy fudge he didn’t mean for it to get that far

max: she wouldn’t feel bad because Xam tends to do this a lot. She would give him a speech about being over dramatic and then pick him up and give him some warm milk.

Saber (color fury): she would sternly tell Speed Demon to get back up and calm down. Saber is stern as heck when it comes to Speed Demon and canonically it would never get this far but if it did i feel like Saber would never let it get that far again. Her point (what ever it was) was made very clear.

Speed demon: never in a million years would this happen to him and he knows this so first thought would be 1. who is this and why are they pretending to be Saber? legit Sabers too bull headed to grovel. second thought would be “does Saber know she has a double who is doing a horrible job at being her?”

okay so this one time Floopy really wanted to one up Green dog in an attempt at impressing Bunny so he dyed his ears green but he didn’t bleach them so they came out a yucky blue-green and it was so bad Bunny called them the three leaf clovers until the dye was out of his ears.

Rio once flipped off a bird and thought it was the greatest joke ever.

Gabreal (color fury) doesnt actually have to do a flip every time he does a water shield. hes like sportacus with his unnecessary flips.

4. How would your OC react to meeting someone who is attempting to impersonate them?

Speedy: first he would mentally check to make sure he didn’t clone himself or left a portal to another dimension open and then proceed to quiz the impersonator about all the science stuff he knows that no one else knows cause if speedy knows nothing he knows guitar, skateboarding, and science.

Dogo: “NEW FRIEND! HI FRIEND! you look like me! COOL! FRIEND FRIEND FRIEND!” (legit hes too innocent for this it would be Speedy Bunny or Floopy dispatching of the impersonator)

Affable: totally goes with it. someone wants to take HIS place in HIS LIFE? SURE! GO FOR IT MAN! the people who will know the truth are the ones he cares about so whats the point in ruining this? yeah let that poor sap be hunted down or forced to confirm or what ever else affable thinks will happen if people he doesn’t trust get too close. HA!

Owen: not so much “goes with it” more so “watch the sparks fly”. trying to impersonate a ninja won’t end well and a ninja with a powerful magic user, a fire and ice elemental golem, and a talking dog was god tier powers as friends? yeah man wheres the popcorn? gonna get front row seats to this.

Saber: strait up call them out and throw them in jail. no ifs ands or buts. plus impersonating a super hero is like impersonating a police officer levels of bad in the color fury world. its also nearly impossible without the right power so kudos to the person who can pull it off.

Mixmatch (color fury): honestly she would kill them. like shes cute and adorable and family friendly but shes still a wild animal/hence man to a evil sorceress. something trying to take her place in her territory is the same as a animal trying to take the place of another in a pack or pride or herd. it doesn’t end well and i kinda just realized that myself....

the bye bye man was just plain bad. it wasnt hilariously bad. it wasnt even cringe-ily bad. it was just plain bad.

if youre morbidly MORBIDLY curious i recommend you go see it ONLY on a nice saturday night when theres more likely to be more people watching it. those are the ONLY circumstances you should see the bye bye man under. because with any luck youll have an audience like ours where nobody took it seriously and you could all laugh about how bad it is together.

it’s not worth renting and its def not worth buying. not even for a small viewing with your friends. fifteen bucks is also a steep price to pay for a communal bonding experience, so allow me to recommend: not watching it at all. or tbh paying for a better movie and sneaking in to see it

its only any good with an audience that makes fun of it. and even then it was only good for about fifteen minutes.

its a worse version of freddy krueger. nightmare on elm street had charm to it, yknow? it was kind of a comedy. it made fun of horror. freddy was an enjoyable character. there was also a story behind it, even if it took a few sequels to get to

the bye bye man, seemingly, is an escapee from the teenagers prison part of fosters home for imaginary friends because the first and only time he was every mentioned coming up was when a kid blamed killing his entire family on “the bye bye man.”

the reason its a ripoff of freddy krueger, by the way, is because the bye bye man only exists as long as anybody knows his name. as long as someone remembers he exists he DOES exist. which makes it an obnoxious and probably lame metaphor about how we “give our thoughts power”

the film also neglects to tell what would happen if you said “bye-bye, man” to someone. we dont know if that would summon him

but basically what happens is someone learns his name and because LOL ITS SO RIDICULOUS LOL (the movie acknowledges this but acts poorly on it by not even making it interesting or a big deal) people spread it and tell others. but theres no reason hes named the bye bye man. theres no big fuck at the end where some deep hidden meaning (or even obvious meaning in that he makes you go bye bye) where it ALL MAKES SENSE AND GIVES U CHILLS

if they wanted it to be better, to prove how ridiculous it was we could “give power” to this idea and spread it because its silly they LITERALLY just should have gone with “peepee poopoo man” like honestly

but we get 0 backstory as to where he came from. not even like. “OOO EVIL INDIAN VOODOO LOL” like NOTHING WE DONT KNOW WHERE HE CAME FROM THEY DIDNT CARE THEY JUST WANTED TO THROW SOME SPOOKY AMBIANCE AND SOME JUMPSCARES TOGETHER AND MAKE SOME MONEY IT SUCKS SO MUCH

once you know the name you start hallucinating and all you can think about is the bye bye man and you end up coming into danger the longer it is until something bad happens.

HOWEVER

only one character dies because of this. she sees a car crash and a dying family and runs to save them (which is the same way the family of the person she was driving with died, which means it would have made more sense for HIM to see that and get worked up over it. not to mention she was canonically sensitive to spirits so just by being in close proximity to him itd make sense shed see their death scene which means we dont even know that the bye bye man caused that to happen. and shes the only case of the bye bye man “killing” anyone. just knowing his name torments people with intrusive thoughts and nightmares which could be explained by................................ mold or mental illness.)

so bc you know his name you get nightmares and nono thoughts and the only way to kill him is to kill everyone who knows about him so they cant spread his name. but somehow he always sticks around. BECAUSE SOME ASSHOLE WHO KNEW NOBODY COULD KNEW HIS NAME. CARVED THE BYE BYE MANS FUCKING NAME INTO A DRESSER FOR EVERYONE TO FUCKING FIND. IF HE KNEW NOBODY COULD KNOW HIS NAME. WHY DID HE PUT IT THERE? OR DID THE BYE BYE MAN PUT IT THERE? BUT CAN THE BYE BYE MAN STILL EXIST IF NOBODY KNOWS? CAN HE MANIPULATE THE PHYSICAL PLANE? if the bye bye mans name exists on paper but nobody knows it, by platos/socrates forms does he still exist in some capacity?

let me make a list of all the things the bye bye man HIMSELF has been shown to do DIRECTLY (there is no proof he even causes the nightmares)

poked the guy in the forehead (im not even joking. he doesnt do shit at the end. he just boops the guy on the head to the tune of the doorbell ringing and then the guy kills himself because its “too much” apparently)

so yeah the movie doesnt even prove that the bye bye man is doing anything actively malicious. maybe the bye bye man WANTS people to forget about him maybe he doesnt want people getting into his business

-no backstory -harmless antagonist -boring jumpscares -unlikable characters (he has ONE intrusive thought his gf is cheating on him with his bff and “SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG HERE!!!!” and immediately starts grilling them, assuming they ARE having an affair) which brings me to: -barely anything happens and they start freaking out because somethings wrong (she zoned out and doodled in her notebook and he had a nightmare, and suddenly theyre super defensive about it) -a twist at the end that doesnt even ultimately matter -FUCKING OPENING FOR A SEQUEL LIKE PLEASE FUCK OFF -stupid name with a DECENT concept that was executed horribly because they didnt know wtf they were doing. the concept, btw, was only DECENT. and even if it had been a dumb metaphor about the power we give to ideas, maybe that should have been focused more heavily on than being a throwaway line ONCE during the beginning of the movie -annoying seance scene with nonbelievers and SUPER DUPER REAL PSYCHIC, WE SWEAR

MAN NOW I’M RANDOMLY GETTING THE GHOSH FEELS AGAIN

damnit i just think of an oc who vaguely resembles him and now I’m back in the quicksand?? seriously i literally HAVE NEVER EVEN BEEN ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME all i’ve done is see a bunch of lets plays that’re always filled with ~lol gross he looks gay here~ type jokes and gahhh...

And seriously i still don’t know if any of those Kinda Gay Moments were intentional or not, cos the playstation version is really badly translated sometimes. maybe I’m just projecting :P

and seriously he’s SUCH A WASTED CONCEPT! He does nothing! he only exists to be a vague obstacle in other people’s plots to cause stuff to happen. His rivalry with the player is never really explained and never gets a conclusion either way! I was really thinking ‘holy shit this guy looks like a romance route’ but nope instead like three other people get to have the tsundere type smoochies and he just gets a fuckin fully drawn swimsuit scene that appears for five seconds and seemingly serves no purpose. Seriously fuckin walks into your swimming pool in tiny speedo and says ‘ohohoho you should be grateful i am here’ but NOPE NOT A ROMANCE OPTION, NEVER

A HETEROSEXUAL MAN WHO TOTALLY HATES YOU

Seriously, you get SO MUCH consistant hints that he DOESNT hate you, though! its like The Lore is hinting he’s a more complex guy who’s gonna get some kind of payoff to this but NOPE even if you don’t believe that the fact he follows you around everywhere and constantly tries to impress you and his sister says he never shuts up about you and asks ‘seriously, what is your relationship with my brother?’ is actually supposed to be Potentially A Gay Character Whose Route Was Removed, then seriously it still comes off as like.. dude does not hate you He feels like a very performative parody of the weirdness of these rival characters. Why can’t i get my settling our differences route? Why cant i get a conclusion of him actully doing ANYTHING in the plot?

and seriously even if he was supposed to be 100% hateable and just exist to get his ass kicked, he DOESNT EVEN DO THAT! there’s no resolution to the rivalry, there’s no way to actually prove him wrong! i was pretty much only invested in doing [blablabla insert gameplay thing here] because the game always had ghosh come in and be all ‘ha ha u cant do it��. And then even when you max out the whole town, clear the tower, defeat the big bad and are dating all the girls simultaneously, he still doesnt even mildly change his dialogue. You can convince the whole town you’re awesome except him! And you dont even get any kind of knock on effect of that! He’s so defined by being The Better One, yet he doesnt even get to react in shock when you succeed at the stuff he was also aiming for?? And his personality doesnt get even slightly humbled by that? And he just continues doing the same generic rival dialogue even though the tower has already been finished and he’s already lost?? HIS PLOT IS LIKE THEY GAVE UP HALFWAY IN

and DEAR GOD I am just so re-obsessed with this damn game now that I know there was a gameboy port/adaptation/spinoff that ACTUALLY DID GIVE GHOSH A GODDAMN PLOT there’s no dating routes and no town customization and it’s generally universally worse gameplay, but apparantly the few characters who didn’t get removed in this version all got LOTS MORE DEVELOPMENT WOW and fffffff this game is so obscure and i cant even find much info on this even more obscure version!! all i know is that there’s this mythical Ghosh ending, and they renamed the monsters better translated names, and there’s some new characters added that have Backstory Importance so apparantly the whole plot got a real good sparkling lick of paint, not just mr rival dude

and like.. okay... I don’t actually know if this is true or not since I’ve never played the gameboy version and nobody has done a goddamn half decent lets play anywhere as far as I know but tvtropes says ghosh’s expanded role includes ‘his father was also killed by the final boss’, which seems like a bit of a lame way to give him a sympathetic backstory. literally just he had the same sympathetic backstory as you. And seriously who WAS his father? your father was the bad guy’s former friend he betrayed, who made this big sacrifice to stop his evil plan. How could they manage to slot in a second dad into that plot, even? so like, even if this fact being true would COMPLETELY DISPROVE my dumb fan theory, HERE IS MY DUMB FAN THEORY:

What if Ghosh’s father WAS the big bad?

Seriously, its always struck me as odd that him and his sister have no family resembelance, and the only character in the cast she looks like is inexplicably the bad guy. Seriously its quite uncanny! Ok kinda spoils to talk about it, but here’s Ghosh’s sister (not the spoils bit) and here’s the mystery bad guy. And in the brief time you get to see him pre-superform, you can see his outfit looks super similar to Ghosh + sis! I don’t know if its just a coicnidence, or maybe Selfi wasn’t intended to be Ghosh’s sister in pre-production, or something? But I do have this wild theory that this dude was supposed to be their dad and it just got cut out. A lot about the endgame is quite rushed in the playstation version!

So like.. here’s my theory/way to make Ghosh actually relevant/way to make the big bad come less out of nowhere at the very end of the plot, and have to exposition his entire backstory at you in his one and only cutscene. Cos seriously if he was your dad’s best friend who supposedly vanished alongside him, why does NOBODY EVER MENTION HIM? nobody in the town seems to have known he existed! What! My thought is that it coulda been way better integrated if you just hear all these lil stories throughout the worldbuilding about how Ghosh’s dad was totally a great hero too, and stuff. And it’d maybe give Ghosh a bit more motivation to have started his rivalry with you in the first place, if he’s had to deal with being constantly compared to you in a lesser sense. Cos that’s the thing about ‘my father died too’ as a plot point that really should have been expanded upon! The player’s dad is specifically The Most Famous Legendary Monster Tamer, who almost succeeded at beating the tower. Ghosh’s family is rich, yeah, but you’re The Famous Kid. Even if you start off as a total newbie to monster taming and it feels like everyone in town hates you cos theyre saying you wont be as good as your dad, all Ghosh can see is ‘they wont stop talking about your dad’. And sure, maybe he’s just a normal jerkass jealous guy, but maybe its a bit more sympathetic cos its ‘my dad died too, and nobody even remembers him, because he was a ‘failure’’. That would make a lot of sense to define his entire personality into what it is nowadays! And of course he would feel all tsundere as fuck about seeing you as a friend, its like his entire reason for being your rival is just because of something you didnt even do, something HE didnt even do, something two dads did a decade ago and he’s got only second hand info on. And he’s trying to retroactively justify it by finding evidence you’re totally as weak and terrible as you NEED to be, in order to fit this narrative. But also ‘hey I’m defining my life by defeating you and restoring my father’s honor’ can kinda turn into ‘hey i’m defining my life by following you around everywhere and impressing you and asking if you want to hold my hand a little’. (Seriously if the game wasnt intentionally writing him as a love interest, they made one hell of a coincidence! And then like 45 other coincidences every ten minutes in every dialogue!) And then your friendship route with him could just be him loosening up once he gets to know you and realizes all his preconceptions were complete nonsense. And like.. ‘hey ghosh i still like you even if you’re not the most famous and most rich guy ever’. It could be quite easy to make his character more well-rounded just by saying he’s so boastful to compensate for some self esteem issues? Seriously MAN I know none of this is canon but it just frustrates me that it would slot so well into canon!! so much potential!! you dont even have to change a thing!!

AND THEN the reveal of the bad guy could actually mean a bit more! I mean, its still a ‘whoa’ and quite sad just because you’ve spent the whole game hearing how your dad was such a cool guy (theory: his full name is literally Cool Guy) and then you get confirmation that he is indeed dead after all this time of trying to find him. And that he got betrayed by his best friend and all. But.. we dont know anything about the best friend!! he was never mentioned before! He only makes a big impression cos he’s very scary in the ten minutes of screentime he gets the only personality he has is just generic mwahaha villainy and like.. a vague implication that his motive was jealousy or something? thats what got me started on wondering if him and Ghosh are related, cos it would be a really interesting story parallel if the rivalry was destined to repeat itself with their kids. And like.. in the original dads it was a guy pretending to be a friend when he really only saw your dad as a rival, and now its his son trying so hard to be a rival when really he's in denial about being your friend. And it could be SO COOL to explore Ghosh’s reaction to this revelation! The betrayal would feel so much more personal cos we’re not just hearing about this guy betraying someone else a decade ago, we’re seeing him betray a main character right now. And like.. in the original we just hear ‘yeah, your father Guy thought he was good when he was really bad’, we the player are never fooled into thinking this guy isn’t bad, cos the first time we even SEE him is when he does [spoily thing] and [spoily character] is [spoilstuff] and then wham final boss, the end. I guess they kinda substituted it with that other twist? Betrayed by a different character even if this backstory betrayal is super obvious non-twisty. And like.. it could be an excuse to give big bad dude a bigger plot role, too! like, we could hear abot him second hand from Ghosh, we could maybe see some other flashbacks of his journey with your dad prior to the betrayal. Maybe he could even appear in person before the big reveal scene on the top floor? You could find him inside the tower and he could be like a mysterious mentor dude who seems good before the big reveal. And the dad thing could be a great misdirect! The player could think ‘oh, the reveal is gonna be that he’s secretly ghosh’s dad’ and not expect that ALSO he was a bad guy all along! Oh and MAN what if he does the whole ‘come join me, we can rule together’ thing with Ghosh??? Loyalty to your pedigree bloodline that you were once so proud of, or to the protagonist you’ve always pretended you had no loyalty to, but secretly admired as a friend...? And srsly the similarities in their characters are such a good thing for a conflict like that, even if they WERENT supposed to be related! It could be a piercing question to Ghosh, how far are you willing to go in order to prove your the best? Would you kill for it? I mean man Ghosh has more deep plot metaphor connections than the protagonist could ever dream of! A confrontation between these two would have been so damn cool!!

Oh and MAN what if it isnt just one short scene of ‘yeah no fuck u dad i’m saving Koh’, what if he gets a full arc of maybe temporarily switching sides for a while?? That could be SUCH a good twist on the formulaic nature of Ghosh’s role in the plot! So much would change if he was suddenly absent from his comic relief appearances in every scene of everyone else’s plot forever. And it’d be so depressing to see the second floor of the tower finally be empty again for the first time since the tutorial level! (In the game itself, one of his only real roles he fills is being an optional boss fight every time you pass this early room, and giving you a variety of helpful items if you win. he’s kind of an honorable rival beneath all that trash talk!) And like.. man.. imagine how on earth you’d explain this to his sister! it could even be a chance for a big ‘the hero’s fall’ type part of the story? after all this time of winning over the loyalty of the townsfolk, you could suddenly be back to unpopularity cos nobody believes you about Ghosh. he was the town hero! he would never have done that! And even if you chose to lie about it to uphold his positive image with the town (+5 Ghosh romance points?), you’d still get a negative reaction cos you cant explain why he went into the tower with you and never came back. You get treated as if you committed the sin that the bad guy did all those years ago! And maybe this could be another way for the romanced characters to have a minor effect on the plot? like, only if you finished their route do they believe you, and become the few people who keep supporting you from this point on. (Mom would be the only one otherwise, cos she really needs to get a chance to shine. It sucks that her role is so minor after the prologue!)

And then maybe ultimately you find out Ghosh’s betrayal was a lie and he just tried to trick his dad into thinking he was on his side so he could help you take him down in a big ol spectacular battle scene! Woo! Like, instead of [spoily spoils] being brainwashed by big bad and not being able to resist him in order to not kill you, but somehow being able to resist him in order to summon a lgendary sword you can use to win in a glorified cutscene, because the whole fight meant nothing and blablabla. (That sucked! At least the LP I saw last had the player try a bunch of cheats and kick the dude’s goddamn ass with overpowered monsters in an awesome montage just to prove that this was indeed unwinnable.) Nah, it’d just make more sense if your dad’s legendary sword was sitting there the whole time from when it first happened, and like... it just becomes unsealed when the villain starts his spell using your blood and etc. ‘Whoops I accidentally armed you with the key to my own demise’, karmic takedown! And maybe Ghosh plays a role by tossing you the sword, or holding the guy back while you get it, or something? And [spoily character] could still have a redemption cos maybe they could do a ‘kill me to kill him’ moment. Can’t break free of his control, can’t not attack you on his command, but since they’re now linked together in a terrifying final boss body horror mashup, they could sacrifice themself to be a weak point to him. It would make more internal sense than ‘i cant disobey him until the most plot important moment for no reason’. Also it would clear the air a bit about whether that character is meant to be like.,. actually choosing to betray you, or being brainwashed? Either way I’d still love them tho, its still a good plot to think of someone who was used as a literal weapon for so long that they lost hope in ever escaping and just agreed to do spoily things and trick you into thinking they were an ally, just because it meant they could get a chance to pretend to be a normal person for a few months. I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS FOR YOU, SPOILY CHARACTER! OR there’s also the consideration that this endgame plot was so vague and badly translated that the first time I saw it I thought that it meant [spoily character] was actually like an artificial creation from big bad splitting himself into two. Which would have been a real good plot too, if someone literally born from the bad guy’s blood could still choose to be good and turn against him!

And also I dunno, maybe we could have a bit more explanation on why on earth big bad can even do this brainwashy fusion thing in the first place. Honestly, just saying ‘he’s Ghosh’s dad’ would kinda explain that? Cos Ghosh’s lil sis is the only mage in the town and its implied to be rare or something that humans can have magic without the assistance of monsters. So like... just say that her dad’s particular magical talent was this thing of stealing other people’s powers. ...tho again it makes it weird that her and Ghosh dont have any resembelance and he’s just a sword guy?? Hmm ADDITIONAL THEORY: ghosh isn’t actually a blood relative, he was big bad’s adopted son. that could give him even more reason to blindly believe his dad was good even though he doesnt know anything about him. And even more reason to be excessive about reminding people he’s Totally The Heir To The Richy Richerton Family, Here Look At My Cash. And like.. defining himself by proving his own worth as the town’s one true hero.  Mannnn goddammit why am I stuck having so many feelz about a minor as fuck character in a game nobody’s even played...

Oh and I did not know that Ghosh is an indian name meaning ‘quiet’, thank you google! Its a bit confusing tho cos some sites say its pronounced ‘goash’ like I assumed, but some say ‘gosh’? Then again, there are names that’re just pronounced differently. *shrug* I wonder if they intentionally picked that name as an ironic one for him? or, well, the game has a lot of random english names for ‘exotic factor’ so they might have picked it randomly too. Seriously, there’s literally a girl named Selfie. TFW your english is so bad you accidentally predict slang from years in the future...
