Randomly decided I didn't want to be on the edge of the map after all and changed my base location on Volcano. >.>

I found my old ASE base!!! Was seriously considering taking the same spot but then I poked down the beach further and found this little penninsula-ish spot. It should be plenty big enough for my house and a dino pen. \o/

Checked out the ocean right there and I should be able to do a nice-sized water pen too. And I spotted a 140 basilo hanging out nearby so I gotta remember to go tame her next time I'm on here.

The wyverns on Aras are still going, we've gotten some good lightnings but nothing perfect yet, and the fires don't want to cooperate at all. Argh. >.<

And I've been breeding the gigas on N&A whenever I remember and we just got a double mutation on one. Not on any useful stats, but the baby looks pink and purple so I need to remember to get a screenshot next time. \o/

First of all, let me say something. I don't think that there are 5 single things that makes me (or anyone) unique per se. I see myself (and everyone really) as recipes. Idk about where you live, but here in my area, there are traditional dishes that, despite having a specific general recipe, do change from family to family (according on the specific place they developed in, their beliefs, economical possibilities but also ingredients they could use in specific times and circumstances): this made that same recipe take on unique traits that still these days made it so different despite being "the same" at the core. So imo, it's the same for us people: it's not a single trait or characteristic that makes us unique, but how they're mixed together. And the more you dig within yourself to define your own traits and characteristics, the more you'll see how special you are. For example, I'm not special because of my heterochromia iridium, because of my latex allergy, or because I like to study languages (there are so many people with different color eyes -for my same reason too-, many people being allergic to latex, and a lot of others who enjoy studying languages), but if I try to see these 3 traits together I am starting to become a more rare mix to find. And the more traits of myself I add/consider + the further I try to look at all of them too (eg. I like to study languages especially by listening to music), the rarer I become. Even "negative" traits ofc: these too add to my/everyone's uniqueness. Do you understand what I want to remind everyone here? Let's not stress on finding that special thing about us that makes us stand out cause we may just lose our mind on it and never be able to find it (especially if we tend to compare with others a lot). Let's focus on our whole self, as we should always do: even when we make a mistake or feel guilty, we're not just that mistake or thing, we're also successful, good and kind. We're just imperfect, but what's the problem? Everyone is. Look at others too as a whole, not as a single trait they show you in a specific moment/situation.

So yeah, let's jump to the second point here:

4 things I'm super passionate about and why:

photography - I think I got passionate even before I could walk. It helps me keep memories, channel my emotions, and it helps me relax and free my mind. It was there during a couple of difficult moments in my life. Photography is a very good dear friend for me, even if I kind of had to leave it aside for a while.

dogs - Had a beautiful doggo who taught me about unconditional love and always protected me. What else could I add here? Dogs just know a lot anyway. Every dog. Let them help you (love them when they come close to play, get a cuddle or lick my hands hehe).

music - Another good companion in my life. Been exposed to music all my life, been feeling it, been relying on it too during tough times. Music helps so much.

snow - I am a winter baby, and I love winter. And playing alone in the snow the whole day was my favourite pastime as a child. I used to go back home dripping in sweat and water, for the joy of everyone LOL. I also got photographed while playing once, and that photo became a painting.

studying/understanding - What's more satisfying than trying to understand what's around you, and who's around you? See their reasons, and maybe seeing things from a different point of view thanks to this? It may be a lot to deal with, it may get confusing, but if you give yourself time to get acquainted with it all, it just enriches you on so many different levels.

I’ve been doing a lot of online shopping the past few years even pre-COVID, but since COVID that’s all I’ve done until just recently as I’ve started to venture out to places like Target and Walmart. I haven’t gone to any clothing stores or any other store, yet, but I’m working towards it. Anyway, all that being said I do enjoy shopping online, but it’s nice to get out there and shop once in awhile. It’s definitely more comfortable and convenient for me right now, though.

1. What is the color of your hairbrush?

Just plain black. Nothing exciting unfortunately!

2. Name a food you never eat

Mushrooms, and at the moment, cheese. Damned dairy intolerance.

3. Are you typically too warm or too cold?

Both, but usually cold. My internal heating and cooling system is truly buggered, thanks to the fact that I was a premmie baby. Just one of the many fun side effects.

4. What were you doing 45 minutes ago?

Fannying about after having a shower. Every single day I do this and I don’t know why.

5. What’s your favorite candy bar?

CURRENTLY, it is the Galaxy Vegan caramelised hazelnut chocolate and oh my god it’s so good. A lot of vegan chocolate is really crumbly and whilst it tastes good, the texture is just off and that kind of ruins it for me. But Galaxy have really nailed the texture, it’s just creamy and good and just tastes and feels like real chocolate and I was honestly so happy the first time I tried it.

6. Have you ever been to professional sports event?

I have! I went to a few Scottish Premier League (football) games when I was younger, with my dad, before realising that I didn’t enjoy it much. I have also been to one singular hockey match, which really tells you everything you need to know about how I found that. Honestly I don’t really go in much for sports. I enjoy watching horse riding, show jumping and the like, and figure skating, and that’s about it.

7. What is the last thing you said out loud?

“WHAT ARE YOU EATING?!” To the doggo, who had just got a hold of the leftovers of my dad’s lunch.

8. What is your favorite ice cream?

Ben and Jerry’s do an ice cream that has vanilla on one side, and chocolate on the other, with a full ass BLOCK of caramel in the middle, and it is probably the unhealthiest thing I have ever consumed, but oh my god it’s so good.

Tea! Please assume that I am always drinking tea, it is a fairly accurate assumption.

Eh. It’s okay. It’s getting a bit old but I’ve been putting off getting a new one.

I did! I bought a new top for work, a white jumper bc white goes with everything and I’m a bit lazy.

On purpose? The 2018 Winter Olympic Ice Dance final when Virtue/Moir FINALLY WON THE GOLD!!! It was on until like 3/4am, and I had 3 back to back lectures the next day, and I was SO TIRED, but oh it was worth it!! I think the mens individual final was on the next night but I FULLY fell asleep halfway through 😬

Sweet and salty!

15. Who is the last person you send text message to?

My sister! I was ranting about The Crown and she was just kind of listening haha

16. Ever been camping?

Twice! Both my guide troop. Once just cause, and once bc it was the Centenary of Girl Guiding in the UK and all of the troops in our county pitched up in a giant field for the weekend, which was good fun! Would I do it again? Maybe not. I’m not really that outdoorsy, but I will give anything a go once.

17. Do you take vitamins?

Nope! I probably should, but I swear every time I start taking vitamin C I get a cold. Not sure if this is just my immune system being weird or if I am actually cursed.

18. Do you regularly attend a place of workship?

Nope! I am very much agnostic. I used to live almost right across the road from a church, that was fun on a Sunday morning no need to set an alarm, and I used to walk past, I kid you not four or five on my way to work, which is a lot considering it was ALL ONE ROAD and a fairly short walk.

Nope! I’m so pale I reflect the sun back.

Pizza!!! I miss it!!! Dairy free cheese suuuuuccckkksssss

I don’t like coffee. I like the smell but it is far too bitter for me and the caffeine makes me feel truly awful.

I have a pair of brown boots that are almost victorian in style, they lace up, and made of the softest leather and I love them to utter pieces.

On a normal day, usually any time after 10am. I like my bed and I don’t go to sleep until quite late. When I’m working, it’s usually between half past 6 and 9am.

Sunset. I am very much a night owl.

At the moment I just have my big thick duvet which keeps me very cosy and I never want to get out of my cosy bed, but I FULLY expect that to increase as it gets colder bc I am a cold creature.

My current job! It’s just a clothes shop retail job, but the company is so good (which is rare for a big company), the people are so lovely, the hours can suck sometimes, but I enjoy it so much more than waitressing and bar work!

Was your last breakup a bad one? I had a really hard time when things ended and we hadn’t even actually dated. We had something, though, going on for 3 years. The feelings were there and very real, at least on my end. He completely played and used me.

what is the one thing you remember most about January of last year? My doggo had a scary medical situation and we had to take her to the vet where they did lab work and had to give her the charcoal stuff to make her throw up. Then they had to put her on a IV for awhile before she could come home. It was very scary.

you look at the clock and it’s 11:11, do you wish? Nope.

how do you think you will look 3 years from now? A little healthier looking would be nice. I’d like to put back on a little weight and be less pale. 

once you graduate (if you haven’t already) are you leaving your hometown? Graduated almost 5 years ago and I’m still here. My family and I really want to move, but I don’t know when that will happen.

what is your dream job? I don’t have one. :/

what would be number one on your bucket list? There’s a lot of places I want to travel to.

how old do you think you’ll be when you make your will? For one of my classes in college we had to do that. It wasn’t an official one, but I mean, it could be. I don’t think I kept it, though.

are there any songs that you hear that just make you wanna dance? Upbeat, catchy songs will likely get a head bob and maybe some movement from my arms, hands, and shoulders, ha. That’s all the dancing I do.

what’s the oddest thing you are wearing right now? I don’t think I’m wearing anything odd. I guess some might judge for still wearing my Christmas pjs, but I don’t care.

I don’t have a menstrual cycle anymore cause of health reasons, but when I did I had the absolute worst cramps. I had really bad PMS/PMDD. What’s the most emotionally painful thing you’ve ever experienced? Losing loved ones. Have you had your heart broken? Yes, a few times.  What one thing would you change about yourself if you could? There’s so many things, but I think if I could change my health, mentally and physically, other things could follow. Who has hurt you the most? Life, man. What are you passionate about? Umm. Do you feel like anyone really knows you? I think my loved ones, especially my mom, know me pretty well, but not completely. I don’t even know myself in a lot of ways I feel like. Especially not this person I’ve become over the past few years. Do you open up easily, or does it take you awhile to trust someone? I finished my first ever read-through from start to finish a couple months ago, but the Bible isn’t something you just read once. I’ve been reading daily devotionals ever since I finished my read-through and there are passages included in them. I’m also about to start an online Bible study group soon. Favorite fast food restaurant? I like McDonald’s, BK, Taco Bell, Chick-Fil-A, and Jack in the Box. I haven’t really been into fast food the past few months, though. Favorite ice cream flavor? Strawberry. This may be old, but did you hear “yanny” or “laurel”? I think I heard Laurel.  Do you prefer silver or gold? I like both. What’s one color you look terrible in? Well, I don’t feel I look good in anything, so.  What are two colors you look great in? I feel most comfortable in black. Would you change your skin tone/complexion if you could? I’d like to be a little tanner. Do you think you look better with a tan? Still ugly, but I like being a little tanner. What color is your skin naturally? Pale. What state and country do you live in? California, USA. Do you think you have an accent? I guess we all do, but it’s weird thinking of myself as having one. It’s not recognizable or identifiable like other accents, such as a British one, a southern one, or someone from like Boston, ya know? No one would think, “Oh, she’s probably from California” just based on how I talk. Which accent is your favorite? Some southern and British ones. What store would you like to win a shopping spree at? I’d prefer like a Visa gift card so I could spend it anywhere. Do you think for yourself? Yes and no. We’re all influenced or persuaded in some ways, sometimes subconsciously. Ha, the most “rebellious” thing I did was smoke weed.  Describe your style in high school. Freshman year I was very girly and preppy, sophomore year I went through my emo phase, and junior and senior year it was just like teeshirts and jeans. Giraffes. ha. Who was your first roommate? I’ve never had one. Who was your favorite teacher in high school? Mr. Coffey, my sophomore history teacher. He was really cool. He was a huge fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and played them all the time before class. We talked about music and stuff. I was really into the band Hawthorne Heights at the time and he’d play them sometimes, cool. Looking back, he honestly reminds me of Rob Dyrdek both in how he looked and how he acted. …least favorite teacher? I didn’t have a least favorite, really. None of my teachers were horrible or anything. What is your least favorite color, and do you ever wear it? Brown. I have one pair of brown leggings. What are your top three favorite colors? Pastels (I’m grouping them as one, shh), dusty rose, and yellow. Favorite fruit? Bananas. Favorite vegetable? Spinach and broccoli.  Favorite flavor of tea? Peppermint or Chamomile.  Tea or coffee? I followed them after their breakup and through their solo careers, and now they’re back together with a new album and on tour.  Do you listen to Owl City? I liked a couple of their songs.
