Got around to downloading Petz 5 last night. I forgot how much I love this game:)

I'm teaching my 6-year-old niece how to play Petz. She immediately picked the cat I named after Reva from Star Wars as her favorite, and has decided she's a queen, so I had to make a quick custom throne room for her.

Been a minute since I've posted petz things, so I thought I'd do a quick little advertisement for my adoption site.

We've got Hybridz(Black Mist is a great place to go to read more about those), wildz, catz, dogz, litterz, singles, OW, mixies, pure bured, brexies.

I bred my first kitten from my naturally raised profile!

When I brought Pumpkin and Butternut out for the first time as adults Butternut spent a lot of time pouncing on Pumpkin.

But I guess that Pumpkin found it endearing because they quickly bred.

Butternut seemed to be even more angry during her pregnancy, but Pumpkin was patient and sweet with her<3

And on May 17, 2023, Squash was finally born! She's constantly being watched by an over-protective mom and an adoring dad.

When they're not busy only having eyes for each other...

Figured out how to recolor bandanas (and have sprites that don’t crash my game)!

There are other programs to use, any hex editor I Believe will work but I'm not familiar myself with that type of hexing. The most common programs(the ones you'll be able to find help in the easiest) would be

LNZ Pro (LNZ)

&

PetzWorkshop (PW)

Both are from Sherlock Software. Free download.

Also from there if you don't already have it is PetzA which is a life saver. Highly recommend. And Tinker if you want to get into toyz hexing.

For hexing I also highly recommend Brynn's Autospotter(for random spots) and the anchor utility(it is a life saver for anchoring and texturing paintballs especially if you have more than say a few).

These three were done using all the above programs. They aren't breed files, just petz but still.

Ikr, I love it!!!!! I played Dogz 4 and Dogz 5 when I was a kid, I loved taking pics of them and dressing them up and making those cute little webpages haha

Later on, I got back into it and started downloading hexed breeds and playing around with that. I've been wanting to make my own hexed breeds but idk how to do that, is there a program I'd need to use?

max had catz 5 and chloe had dogz 5. max was diligent about naming and caring for about 5 cats and chloe had over 60 dogs and half of them all ran away. i will not be debating this

Valentine's Event Showoff

This amazing Russian Blue mixie was adopted from PAAC's Valentine's day event. She was bred by @shortbread-kc and she's amazing.

She'll be joining the show crew(how do I not have nothing but RBs on that crew? Fail on my part)

She was my friend while I worked on another project, playing in the background. She was determined to get a toy on the cat tree or chair.

And she did!

Though the second toy she tried was so close but so far.

More petz, adopted May 13, 2023

Kitten the Ragdoll and Dusty the Kelpie were adopted together because Dusty came out while I was playing with Kitten and they immediately hit it off so I couldn't turn Dusty back in. I was originally going to get a tan/brown Ragdoll but when I saw his color I kind of fell in love and kept playing with him. Kitten likes to act like he's too dignified for Dusty, but he's not fooling anyone, he adores her. Dusty is a little more foolish than most of my petz, but she fits right in. I haven't had them out separately yet because I think it's super cute that they're friends and it feels weird to only have the one.

Toes the Cymric VPZ. He's super playful until I take pictures lololol. He's also constantly scratching my carpet or making biscuits, so I'm lucky that it can't get ruined.

Last but not least for today, Duke the Poodle. As a kid I was never big on the poodle, but when I played a few years ago I had a poodle I absolutely adored, so I guess this is me trying to get that back. He's more standoffish than my last poodle, but I still think he's nice to have around.
