Handmade needle felted creature patch on sweater. Made with old craft felt found in our dark dank dungeon.
Blessed by our familiar.

Things you need:
Felt (wool preferred, mine was rayon), wool fiber for eyes and lips, felting needle, foam block for needle felting, scissors, threads, sewing needle, water, soap, wool sweater or cardigan.
1) Design your creature. Simple shape with a face is easier.
2) Cut your felt into the outline of your creature.
3) Cut the hole in the shape of your creature’s open mouth. Be slow, it’s easy to cut too much.
4) Needle felt the lips around the mouth hole. Lightly knead those plump lips with some hot soapy water. This agitation tightens up the wool and creates a denser felted item. If it shrunk too much, needlefelt more wool to desire size and knead again with hot soapy water.
5) Needle felt 2 dome shaped eyes. Knead it with soapy water.
6) Sew pupils onto felted eyes.
7) Hem the edge of felt with any hemming stitch of your choice.
8) Patch is done! It’s good enough to be sewn on a wool sweater or cardigan of your choice.

Remi works with a hesitant, erratic violence, creating a piece as light and fluffy as she is, and signing her work by hole-punching it with her teeth.

Timmy uses bold, strong lines to evoke some kind of powerful event, echoing his powerful presence and loud voice.

Nubbins, truly inspired, creates a high-energy piece that symbolizes the void where his brain should be, surrounded by chaos and mischief.

Kona, a reclusive avante garde artist, refused to work with me around. Only in quiet solitude did she create this haunting, introspective work.
