Not that anyone asked, but one of my cats eats dirt. Like, not in trying to get the plant to chew on, he just. sticks his face under the lwaves and starts eating the fucking dirt.

Keep in mind, this is potting soil. And not just a little bit, noooo. This fucking cat put holes in the dirt. I come home, and theres just a fist-sized crater in the potting soil.

and the worst part, hE CAN'T EVEN DIGEST IT????? HE JUST VOMITS IT UP SONEWHERE ELSE 20 MINS LATER?????

My cat Moody does this and he's actually chewing on his tongue. He started doing it from mimicking me because I chew mine as a stim thing.

Cats can do this noise for various reasons. It's best to keep an eye on them, and bring them in if it's the first time you see them do it because it can be bad for them... but typically it's a stim thing or attention seeking behavior.

in a truly comical turn of events, the allergen-repelling pillow I bought for my highly-allergic-to-everything boyfriend has now been taken over and subsequently smothered in fur by my cat, whom he is highly allergic to. she absolutely adores him and I think this is somehow her way of showing that love, by sleeping where he lays his head in our home, but this does mean I have to buy another fucking pillow. because it absolutely is her pillow now. I think if he slept on it he would asphyxiate.
