So this is kinda a weird one for me. 😯 I've watched this spider ( #catfacespider ) outside my living room window for 3 months now. Let it sink in that I have (had?) #arachnophobia ... #veganism made me think about respecting all creatures so I made an effort to watch her daily. I checked for her in the morning when I opened the blinds, I checked for her during the day at least once and in the evening when I closed the blinds again. DAILY. 91 DAYS. I even have played with the thought of letting her crawl on my hand as the ultimate test. The past week has been extremely cold with -45 Celsius (-49 F) wind chill. I worried so much about her during that time, i was contemplating on taking her inside. The cold finally has killed her and now I'm extremely saddened. 😢 I honestly can't believe that I'm sad about her being dead. 3 months ago I was killing spiders that scared me in my house and today I'm crying over one being dead. Cat Face Mary has gotten huge!!! I'm sure she'll be making her egg sack any day! Bittersweet as we know she will die shortly after. We have enjoyed her all Summer and Fall by the porch light. #catfacespider #arachnidlove #spidereyes #lullaby (at Casa Feliz )
