hinata was a ray of sunshine; everyone knew that.

you felt like you'd burn if you get too close to him, your fingertips feeling that gratifying burn when you graze his soft, tan skin. he always managed to bring a smile on your always frowning face, always made you laugh when you felt like crying.

in your eyes, hinata was the kindest man you knew who always had an amicable energy in his veins. that serotonin in your veins, the adrenaline rush in your brain. the one that made your heart pound.

so seeing him tower over you, cheeks flushed, breath of sweet vodka, eyes drooping in some kind of flirtatious approach with his hand beside your head, pressing against the rough texture of a brick wall, you feel butterflies prodding at your knees to weaken them.

his eyes— usually full of exultation, are now heavy with amorous vigor. the corner of his lip is twitched upwards, his other hand using his thumb to graze the skin of your chin, tracing up to rub the moist skin of your bottom lip.

"you..." he murmurs, eyes glancing between your lips to your eyes. you can't help but keep your lips parted, head tilted upwards to look ay him. this feeling is foreign, this sight is bizarre. "do you know how beautiful you are?"

there's a shaky sigh that leaves your lips at that question, your head tilted upwards to look into his eyes. "thank you...?"

"you have no idea what you do to me, sweetheart," he chuckles, his eyelashes fluttering, his voice deep. hinata wasn't lightweight; a few sip of vodka felt like drinking water to him, but you're beginning to wonder what it is that gave him the courage to speak to you like this.

your hands wrap loosely around his wrist, the other on his chest. you feel the hard muscle tense beneath your fingertips. "what do you mean?" you ask, breathless.

"you drive me crazy," he smiles, his bottom lip catching between his lips. "you and your voice, your laugh, your smile, those gorgeous fucking eyes,"

his hand that was on your chin cups your face, his thumb on your cheek, tilting your head upwards so that your lips were directly parallel against his. there's a small sound emitting from the back of your throat that just made him a little smug.

"so, so beautiful," his eyes trace the features of your face, like mapping and placing a pushpin on the parts he loved the best (he loved your entire face). "so gorgeous. fucking stunning."

"shoyo,"

"i want you," he inches closer, nose nudging against yours. "you're everything that i need."

then his lips hover over yours dangerously, like he's tiptoing the edge of a cliff, experimenting the way the skin of his lips graze yours. you want to melt into him, get your fingers lost in his hair, get lost in him.

"can i kiss you?" he almost sounds taunting, like he knows you want him to kiss you. "pretty please, angel?"

"yes," you breathe out, the hand on his wrist coming up to grip his hair. "please."

his lips taste of alcohol, sweet alcohol and him— full of fervor, hunger, desire to take over you, sweet yearning. his tongue wastes no time to graze the bottom of your lip and slip it inside your mouth.

heavy breaths. his body inches closer to yours and locks his legs between yours, the hand against the wall wrapping around your waist to push you against his chest, his mouth moving against yours in harmony.

"shoyo," you murmur against his hot mouth. hinata smiles.

"yeah?"

"nothing," you laugh, rubbing your hand against his chest. "just wanted to say your name."

hinata moves the hand on your cheek to the back of your head, gripping your hair lightly. "i love it when you say my name."

I can barely remember off the top of my head but somewhere in film gold we get a MICROSCOPIC doflamingo crumb from tesoro & that they were business partners somewhere along the lines ... will tesoro ever make any sort of mention or appearance in your fic? it's an odd question but I feel like people forget tesoro exists when talking about the taller op men/op dilfs and I'm missing him really badly right now😭

Man, it has been... A while since I watched Film Gold. Apparently, yes, there was a short little second or a few seconds of showing Doflamingo being Tesoro's business partner and I'm not surprised at all, they're businessmen at the end of the day.

I just can't remember the scene at all and no way am I rewatching the entire movie for that.

Man, I remember writing one fic where Reader is a warlord and all the warlords go to Tesoro's casino, and Doffy knows the place from top to bottom and gets you and himself VIP access 🤣 there is also one where it's the Donquixote Pirates too 🤣 it's more of a crack fic though cus Doffy just acts like such a kid at a birthday party all happy and excited telling the other warlords where to go while simultaneously trying to impress you with all the MOOONEEEY 🤣🤣 I think I sorta made it that Sengoku forces them to go cus there is someone suspicious there and so the warlords have to catch that punk and that's that.

Not gonna lie, I really liked the layout of the casino, it wasn't just gambling stuff. I loved that race the Straw Hats had, and I remember there is fanart of the warlords doing the same and Doffy sitting on the hood of the car (which is pink of course) — BRILLIANT.

I'd def be in the entertainment part of the casino, racing cars & playing billiard or sth... Somewhere where I can't lose money or get into debt 😭

I just know I bawled my eyes out at Tesoro's backstory with Stella 😭😭. Like goddamn, the anime team (or Oda idk if Oda worked on this movie for the plot/char designs) really like making me cry.

You know what, I could add Tesoro somehow into the fic. He's a fun guy. Hang on, I need to remember the lore about Tesoro..

First up: Fiera!

The second doodle is a bit of a better Fiera-Hair. She's not as spinelly as I drew her at the top!

What is she up to? No idea! Adventure is out there and she's an on fire ribbony mess. She's carpe dieming that SHIT

Both she and Fino got a lot of Winter's more angular (pointy) features, and are very lanky. they have no fluff or curves. They are also both very tall!

Jacqueline also lives for this magic moms thing, she thinks it's funny. Her fave video is one where Bianca charges in and goes MOM SHOW THEM HOW YOU DO YOUR HAIR and Jacqueline goes WELL, I FREEZE DRY, AND IT'S VERY EASY. "Do you have to do this now?" Kenma asks.

He starts the countdown; there are less than ten minutes left before the stream starts. He switches the window to troubleshoot one of the settings before checking the stream link works on the various social media sites.

You?

You're braiding his hair.

"I just want to do something special for this stream. It's my second one as your girlfriend."

"You don't have to do anything special."

"Please just let me do this."

Kenma sighs and does a sound check. A few people in the chat say they can hear him. He tells you to speak into the second mic, which is clipped on your shirt. He got it specifically for you.

"Mic test. Testing," you say and Kenma gives you an okay.

The braids are done and Kenma can't see your mischievous smile. He can't tell the difference since it's similar to his usual hairstyle: half up and half down.

You crouch behind his gaming chair and slowly unzip your backpack.

"Hey, try these on," you tell him, slipping a pair of black gloves with gold trim over his hands. They reach up to his elbows.

"Y/n, what are you doing?" he asks without looking up. He squints his eyes at the chat and you're thankful they're distracting him.

Three minutes are left until the stream starts. You pull out a blue and white coat from your bag. The sleeves are short but the coat is long with a golden edge along its hood.

You take his hand and put it through a sleeve.

"What are you doing?"

"It's a gift," you tell him. "My first one for you. I want to show it off to everyone."

Kenma turns his hand over to investigate the gloves and looks down at the coat. "Wait a minute. Is this–"

"Here, put this broach near your neck."

"That's a Geo Vision."

"Hurry up! The stream is about to start!" you rush him, buttoning up his coat.

"If you're doing this because of the last stream, I already said I was sorry–"

"You know I couldn't get him on his rerun banner. I got his weapon on max refinement and everything! This will"– a laugh finally slips out –"make me feel better."

Kenma reaches for the gloves but you hold his hands down. He attempts to twist your arms to escape but your grip is firm.

There are three seconds left.

"Y/n! Stop! Just let me–"

"Please, Kenma?" you plead. "He's my favourite character and I didn't get him."

The stream starts and the camera catches you both standing with your arms twisted around each other. You and Kenma sit down.

"Welcome to my stream," he recites. "I'm Kodzuken. This is my girlfriend Y/n and today I'm…"

Kenma looks at you and you bat your eyelashes at him with an innocent smile. He grimaces as he rubs his temples.

"... going to play Genshin Impact dressed as Albedo."

Bonus:

After the stream ends, Kenma removes the coat and gloves and hands them to you.

"Why did you even want to get Albedo?" he asks.

"Oh you know…" you play it off. "I need a character with a lot of damage and he'd be a good fit with my other characters."

"Don't you usually want characters because of how they look?"

"Do I?" You glance at him and he raises his brow.

He's played Genshin Impact with you long enough to know you were lying.

"Okay fine. He just looks a bit like some guy I used to have a huge crush on. Happy?"

TPN s02e05

Ha! I can finally say that I was right! THEY WERE SPEEDRUNNING FOR NORMAN. Am I happy about it? Of course not! But let’s start from the beginning. 

Basically, this episode was the last turning point - they could either go for something amazing or fall into 6/10 at most. I don’t think you will be surprised how it went, in my opinion. 

- So, we didn’t have major timeskip in the last episode, but in this one... oh, boy! Remember how I was hoping that they would show us how they survive after losing everything? How we might get new stuff? Well, I was wrong. But that’s not the for thing. We were lied about getting anime original. What we are indeed getting is “The Promised Neverland: The Abridged Series”. They are getting scenes that will go manga readers go “Ah, I remember! It was an amazing moment”, but all we are getting is an image without context and emotional bearing.

- Farm have been attacked - cool, but do you remember that anime onlies don’t know about mass produced farms? Because that’s an important detail. Well, at least that told me that Norman is indeed alive.

- The scene between Emma and Ray would be sweet... if it had any meaning. We didn’t seem them grow as friends. We didn’t see them travelling and fighting in Goldy Pond. We didn’t see them gain more respect for each other. So why should I feel anything about it? Look at the picture below. It’s still, it has no colours, you don’t hear anything, and yet it tells you a lot about their wonderful relationship. Anime failed miserably here

- You know what people who are running away do? Light up buildings that haven’t been used for ages because, yeah, nobody will catch them, right?

- And that just make me ask: where is Isabella? Why they gave her that amazing scene in the last episode if it doesn’t seem like she became a major threat. They have been on the go for almost a year, for heavens’ sake!

- Again, the scene with the old demon would be amazing if we got more from Emma in this season. All we got is: she is kind for everybody. THAT”S WHY GOLDY POND IS IMPORTANT! Because she needs to come out of her comfort zone! Because she realizes that sometimes kindness isn’t enough. That’s why her later acts of selflessness are so impactful - because despite everything she is stil herself.

- x2 Again, the scene with demons trying to save their siblings would be amazing if it was done better. Don’t expect the viewers to become invested because you show them suffering children. That’s not enough. That’s why worldbuilding is so important. To be clear, manga also wasn’t perfect in that sense. BUT! I think that attack on the capitol, killing of those who drunk cursed blood and Ayshe backstory are well written and make it all better. I’m just greedy and want more. 

- Remember how this anime actually had good chase scenes? I’m waiting more Ray is Sasuke memes because it looked Naruto parody, not gonna lie.

- And now for the big one. Remember how in the manga you suddenly find out that William Minerwa is actually alive and is planning to destroy the farms? Children are taken to a secret hideout that became home to many cattle children. Emma decides to meet the big boss herself and then

Easily one of the best wholesome moments in the manga. But it keeps going!

So! Surely anime will give us something similar amazing, right? Right? Or, you know, you can just turn Norman into Robin Hood and make him take off his mask in the middle of a town filled with demons. But that would be silly because he is the smartest child from Grace Field, right? RIGHT?

Guys, I tried to stay optimistic, I really did... but this episode broke me on so many levels. It’s not just that they are changing things up. It’s that they take things away and don’t offer anything in return. 

Anyway, I won’t drop this series because I appreciate interacting with this lovely community. I think that TPN fandom is really amazing and I adore talking to all of you. Fortunately, we still have manga, fanarts and fanfictions! On the topic of that, since I’m about to graduate, I will soon come back to my own post-canon fanfic. I honestly can’t wait because I didn’t have time to write anything in months.

So, in conclusion, TPN deserves more than that. It’s not a perfect manga, but that doesn’t stop me from loving it. And as for the anime... if season 1 is Empire Strikes Back, season 2 is Rise of the Skywalker
