Diary of a Cat Owner’s Musings

So, I learned something interesting today about calico cats. Turns out, they’re not a specific breed, but it’s all about those beautiful tri-color patterns. Who would’ve thought?

Now, let’s talk about my chatty cat. Seriously, she’s a real talker. Her meows are like her way of having a conversation with me, or maybe more like giving me orders. It’s usually a mix of “I want food, some cuddles, a bit of petting, and lots of attention” – and the order of those demands can change at any moment.

Let’s switch gears to my dear cat, Rosie, and her feline buddy, Wilfred. I have no idea where I got that name – it just seemed to fit my quirky personality, I guess. Anyways, things were going just swimmingly between Rosie and Wilfred. They were like two peas in a pod, inseparable, young kitty love at its finest.

But then, out of the blue, Rosie turned on poor Wilfred one day. I mean, it was like she suddenly decided he was the enemy. He bolted over the fence, and for a while, he became a master of disappearing acts whenever Rosie showed up.

I’m not sure what caused this cat drama. Maybe it was Wilfred’s timid nature, his dainty paws next to Rosie’s, or his general skittishness. Whatever it was, Wilfred found himself in Rosie’s “bad books,” and she ruled her territory with a firm paw.

Life with cats, I tell you – it’s an unpredictable adventure every single day.

How do the strawhats have enough money for all the shopping, repairing, and replenishing that the crew needs for their journey?

Easy, boring, answer: After they save a village or country, they are gifted large sums of money. Like a stupid amount of cash. An inconceivable amount of berries. Given the political state of most of the places though, I would say this theory is unlikely. These places need the funds to rebuild themselves, nor would the strawhats in good faith accept such a sum (except Nami).

Better, fun, answer: The Strawhats drain casinos in the middle of the night. Now this can mean that they steal from them, yes, but I really mean that the Strawhats have some really good skill sets in order to seriously cash in on casino games.

Games that require counting? Zoro, Nami, Robin, Franky, and Sanji have all got those down.

Games that require persistence and facial expression awareness? Robin, Luffy, Nami, and Zoro are fine tuned (slightly paranoid machines)

Games that require pure luck? Luffy. Put this boy in front of a slot machine and watch the 0’s leave your bank account and fall effortlessly into his jort pockets.

I’m just saying. It’s a completely ethical way to make millions of berries.
