Undertale, Homestuck, and uh, Firefly?  I’ll go with Firefly, sure.

First character you loved:

UT: Alphys.  My first playthrough she was easily my fave. HS: I guess Rose, I saw a lot of myself in her at the time (partly because she looks a lot like me lol, easiest cosplay I ever did.) Firefly: River.  Do I even need to elaborate.

Character you never expected to like:

UT: Papyrus actually rubbed me the wrong way at first.  So did Metaton, but Imma go with Papyrus because I love him now even if I can’t fucking write him in character or draw him. HS: ok im sure someones gonna hate me for this but Caliborn.  It’s obvious why I didnt expect to like him but the bits between him and hussie were weirdly... endearing?  He’s more fun to watch than the other assholes in homestuck at least, which endears me to him somewhat. Firefly: Jayne.  Again, do I even have to elaborate.

Character you relate to:

UT: Alphys again, lol.  Crippling self doubt and anxiety, inability to face one’s own mistakes, being an ass online, basically me. HS: Probably PM?  Its been too long since I read Homestuck christ.  But I’m definitely the kind of person who’d latch on to something that seems possible to accomplish in a post apocalyptic world and go to any lengths to do it. Firefly: River.  I don’t even have an explanation for it she’s just the only one I can think of.

Character you would slap:

UT: Metaton.  There are so many things I want to slap him for. HS: God ALL OF THEM.  Except calliope.  But if I had to pick just one... Eridan. Firefly: Mal, easy.  Kaylee deserved better.

Top three favs in order:

UT: Chara, Sans, Alphys HS: PM, Calliope, dave Firefly: River, Book, Kaylee

Someone you initially liked, but ended up disliking:

UT: I... can’t think of anyone.  There’s like two characters I dislike, and I hated them from the beginning. HS: Dirk honestly.  Not my least favorite character but definitely less cool than I initially thought. Firefly: Mal.  Again, not my least favorite character, but he is such an ass to Kaylee and thats just inexcusable.

Someone who grew on you:

UT: Sans.  I almost hate that he’s one of my faves because of his... reputation... but my first playthrough I didn’t think much of him, and as I learned more about the meta he started to get interesting and now I’m in hell with everyone else. HS: Vriska.  Her speech about being a hero is one of my favorite monologues in the whole thing.  Im so proud of her. Firefly: I guess, Jayne again?  He’s an ass but he owns it and I can respect that.  I also have a weakness for characters who constantly have their loyalties questioned.

3 OTPS:

UT: Charisk, Alphyne, Soriel HS: Rosemary, Davekat, uhh, god damn i cant think of another one Firefly: Noticing a lot of canon ships?  Prepare to be surprised because the only ship I have in Firefly is Inara x Literally Anyone Besides Mal She Deserves Better God Damn It (ok i do ship Kaylee and Simon a little)
