vicki, back when she was an angel :D you can see me be special below the cut !! (tumblr if you kill my quality again i will eat your children)

okok so

she has much pointier, more jagged lines than any human characters; this is an idea i had for portraying heaven!! where everything is clean cut, straight lines, each thing leading seamlessly into the next.. almost too perfect (?)

her outfit is a much more minimalistic version of her actual design, and heaven!vicki’s fit is supposed to be kinda like a soldiers uniform? might not do anything with that, but who knows ehe

you might notice instead of her traditional fluffy tail, she has wings instead. well, she still has her tail, but was always told to keep it hidden, and her wings are fake :3 just a little thing to allude that she was always doomed to fall, never quite right for her supposed role in the afterlife!!!!

and unfortunately, her tail and ears weren’t soft back then, instead feeling more like smooth plastic :(

HEY GUYS WHO WANTS TO HEAR ME BE SPECIAL ABOUT MELAI AND HER FUCKASS HAIR AGAIN WHO AM I KIDDING OF COURSE YOU DO

so, her “hair” isn’t actually hair; its kinda like a parasite that attached itself onto her head into her brain!!

Melai and the hair interact uniquely; it latches itself into her brain, thus serving as both an additional limb and an immediate tell as to her mood; 2 largely positive things. However, it will sometimes flare up and start acting of its own accord, pulling at the fine mechanisms of Melai’s brain causing migraines and cluster headaches that can last for days. However, if she keeps a consistent sleep schedule, the flare ups are far less likely, meaning that Melai is hypervigilant about getting her 8 hours every night (which im totally not gonna take advantage of in the story.. hehe)

She can’t exactly extract the parasite (?), as it would be both ungodly painful (imagine having a chunk of your brain ripped clean out of your skull levels of pain) and require a surgery for which sufficient tools simply do not exist, so she’s just learned to live with it. Below is a few doodlies i did of it earlier;
