michael had wanted to take a little trip with finn and, honestly, what better time to do it than valentine’s weekend. he had to pay a little extra for booking so short notice on a major holiday for plans like this, but he thought it was worth it. all they did in castleby was have dinner together—it would hardly be special to do it on valentine’s day too. he kept his plans pretty vague, other than letting finn know the hotel he’d booked, his boyfriend had no clue about the itinerary. he packed a small suitcase, a few things from around the house that he thought would be useful, and went to pick finn up in his trustworthy jeep.

it wasn’t that long a drive, and michael enjoyed the road trip. he wasn’t much of a morning person, but he didn’t mind getting up at 5 am for this, plus, he loved driving, he found it very relaxing, and finn quickly learned that michael loved singing in the car—and he could actually sing very well. they checked into their cozy room, and the first thing michael did was was throw himself on the bed. “this is a lot nicer than it was in pictures. and that’s saying something.” it was lovely, comfortable and rustic and very romantic. fireplace and all. “come here.”

Bio: 

born in jacksonville, florida, and that was the state where he resided until he graduated the university of miami and moved to castleby for a change of scenery. growing up, he was forced to practically raise himself, having lost his parents at a young age and ending up in the care of his deadbeat uncle.

he didn’t grow up in the best of environments, surrounded by bad influences, petty criminals and emotional abuse and manipulation. he figured his ticket out of that life was through education, so even though he had issues with authority figures and got into trouble for his behavior, he always kept good grades.

for michael, getting into college was the easy part—it was juggling his classes and two part time jobs to pay for tuition that was more of a problem. four months into his first semester, while working as a barista, he met an older gentleman that would become his sugar daddy. he was able to quit his jobs and focus on school, as michael found it very easy to entertain the man with his company.

their relationship lasted all four years michael was in college and not a day more. as soon as his last tuition had been covered and he graduated, he tried breaking up with the man, who was quite infatuated with michael. when he was unable to leave the relationship, he decided the only alternative was to ghost him and move away, able to support himself now with his shiny new degree, working as a vet tech. castleby is calm and beautiful, and always welcomed him with open arms. he’s happy with his new life after leaving the ghosts of his past back in florida.
