High King Edmund Pevensie and King Caspian

He turns to Caspian. “King Caspian X,” he says, “Will you accept my oath of fealty?”

(He doesn't want to have to do this, pledge himself to someone else, especially when he has these feelings toward them, but if that's what it takes…he'll give up his Kingship. He can be an advisor, not a King, if that's what it takes. If that's what it takes , he'll do anything.)

Caspian stares at him, and Edmund wonders if he sees the sixteen-year-old kid Edmund, the thirty-four-year-old king, or something in between. Edmund can never quite be sure himself anymore.

“No,” Caspian says, and Edmund feels like he's taken an arrow through the chest. “I will not accept your oath of fealty.” A small smile crosses Caspian’s face. “I will, however, invite you to be King with me.” Edmund's breath returns with a violent snap. The twenty-three-year-old Prince's face is one of hope, the kind of expression that Edmund is more used to seeing on Lucy's face than a battle-hardened warrior. Edmund wants to reach out, to pull Caspian into a kiss, but not here. Not now. He doesn't even know if Caspian likes men.

(He wants to know, though. He wants to know Caspian almost as much as he wants to protect Narnia.)

Hello! Good timezone for everyone Im guess I’m advertising my caspeter fic again it’s titled “I’m holding on and letting go” this moodboard exists to represent the end of the fic which I’m kinda spoiling but idc because folks need to know that it has such a good ending after Peter’s tragic life in England in the fic. Remember there are trigger warnings for major character death, s/h and smut. The whole fic isn’t happy like this moodboard is while Peter does have some heavy angst. Missing Narnia and most of all Caspian takes a toll on him. He has dangerous coping mechanisms. He does make it back to Caspian. Which I adored writing those parts in particular my Peter is quite cheeky and sarcastic outside of the hidden angsty and depressive parts of his life. My Caspian is very innocent and shy but assertive and will still give Peter smoldering looks with his eyes when Peter wants to be cheeky.

Anyways I had so much with the process of writing this and so much support between @equixen and @an-angels-fury @cam-ba-la-che and I adore making new caspeter friends to add to the support and the conversation I love talking about them to everyone perhaps it will continue to write more of Caspeter’s eternal love and peaceful life in narnia universe that in indirectly made from my head lol

Also let’s all thank Aslan for the Royals and Dorian Gray for just existing and the photos work out so well for stuff like this.😉😍❤️❤️❤️❤️ also Fuego is a white horse is this au I know that’s not movie accurate but I like Peter having a white horse where he had the unicorn in the first movie lol 😅

I’m in the process of writing its sequel and holy smackers is it sexy and angsty again like this one but more so I think! Lol

Plot overview: Three years after being crowned King and Queen of Narnia, the newly-wed rulers embark on an adventure over the unknown sea, where rumors of disappearing people and a mysterious green mist have shattered the once-peaceful waters. Only so many other surprises in their wake and difficulties will come for them, their reign, their trust, and their relationship. Thankfully, a couple of familiar faces won't let them face it alone.

Series warnings: female!reader, yet reader *still* has no name other than her alias (the Silver Knight, y'all, keeping it cringe), also queen of narnia for obvious reasons i guess, hehe. canon-typical violence, the fic follows the plot of the third movie (so if you haven't seen it don't come for me), cringy dialogue too, anything else i remember will be specified in each chapter ;)

A/N: you asked for this, and i delivered. hope you enjoy this. also, this moodboard has been in my drafts ever since silver ended. also, when i thought i was done writing, i kinda suffered a whole mental breakdown and decided to start again, so that's why it's taken me a WHOLE YEAR to bring this to u (pls don't hate me).
