DEBIT OR CREDIT-
➳ request: headcanons about arranged business marriage with the host club? Like are they trying to keep it under wraps for the sake of the host club or are they not trying to hide it at all?
➳ character/s: suoh tamaki, ootori kyoya, fujioka haruhi, hitachiin hikaru, hitachiin kaoru, haninozuka mitsukuni, morinozuka takashi
➳ warnings: swearing, marriage, reader is rich, established relationship (haruhi, honey, mori)
➳ notes: when is it my turn to marry mori-

HAHAHAHA
bitch can't keep a secret for more than 5 minutes
haruhi not being a girl is the only exception
he doesn't know a thing about you, but you're attractive and he's sure he can learn to love you
also he doesn't wanna disappoint his or your family by saying no
and he's very confident in his rizz
certain you will fall in love with him
but because he can't hide this from people, he did lose some customers
because some of the girls find it a bit too weird flirting with a taken man
rightfully so
and he pouted about it for a while, but also knows that as flirty as he does get with his guests
you are first priority
you're the one he's marrying, and he will be faithful to you
will actually reel his hosting back a little bit to give you more comfort
the club is partly responsible for that after expressing concerns
── 𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈 𝐊𝐘𝐎𝐘𝐀.
he probably never brought it up cause no one asked
even then, he's probably gonna lie and say you're not engaged
he won't do anything to prove otherwise though
it'll take a long time before he starts showing that he likes you in a remotely romantic way
never mind platonic
this is a business thing and a business thing only
is what he'd like to say
but after the club find out, they urge him to be more involved in this future marriage
will start hanging out with you more often and being a little more talkative at family dinners
he won't be affectionate with you past a simple kiss on the back of your hand
when he starts getting more involved in his father's company
taking over the company
he will open up a lot more to you because you were there and supported the journey even though you didn't really know him
it's a long journey, but it's worth it eventually
extreme patience with this man
── 𝐅𝐔𝐉𝐈𝐎𝐊𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐔𝐇𝐈.
100% a charity case
but you were dating before your parents said you should marry a commoner
to make it seem like your family aren't anti-commoner
it was kinda stupid, but hey, it meant you'd be allowed to marry haruhi so you weren't complaining too much
nothing in your relationship changed, because the people don't need to know of the business arrangement
haruhi is very much like
"damn rich people-"
but people never knew you were dating it the first place
only the host club knew and you had to duct tape tamaki's mouth shut
but since neither of you were out as a couple, you saw no need to tell people
and it was much easier to keep it under wraps
the host club did throw an engagement party for you guys though
there was no escaping that one
but it wasn't on campus grounds where someone could see
overall, pretty happy you didn't have to fight to marry the person you love
── 𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐑𝐔.
hides it because of the whole brotherly love thing
also because it'd be a funny prank to suddenly be married
what a whacky turn of events
even then, people would probably think he was joking if he said he was engaged
kyoya would be the one to tell the people (tamaki) that it isn't a joke
hikaru isn't really a fan of this arranged business marriage thing, but he's also not too fussed
just another person to prank-
he started to appreciate you more when you first told him apart from kaoru though
and then you did it again
and again
and every time since then
maybe getting married to you wasn't such a bad idea...
after the base getting to know each other, it's a much easier time bonding
because he knows you're not an asshole for sure
and you're not putting up with his shit, so he might as well get on your good side, i guess-
── 𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐈𝐍 𝐊𝐀𝐎𝐑𝐔.
less likely to hide it than hikaru
but he's not gonna be overly vocal about it
because of the brotherly love gimmick-
he won't announce that you're ENGAGED
that's a big jump for everyone, especially tamaki
tamaki would lose his mind if he ever found out one of the shady twins was engaged
but kaoru will show you hints of affection
initially as teasing, but after getting to know you a bit more outside of business affairs, it becomes more genuine
still not massively open about it though
a lil affectionate noogie or arm around your shoulders
he won't pretend like he doesn't know you or that you guys aren't together to some extent
but he's not gonna go parading that around
would be kind enough to tell you about the brotherly love gimmick though
so you don't call off this engagement because you think he's genuinely romantically and sexually involved with his twin
when you first told him apart from hikaru, he was in love-
── 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐙𝐔𝐊𝐀 𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐔𝐍𝐈.
not capable of hiding it
he can't hide his love for you because he was gonna marry you anyway??
very cheery when you walk into the room
"LOOK IT'S MY FIANCEE!"
always feeding you cake, even if you can feed yourself
always cuddling you, will cling even if you're walking
his family are probably much more chill than the others
so he got to pick who he married, so long as it would benefit the haninozuka's
puts some serious boundaries in place if he continues to host though
platonic sessions only now
just a nice snack and a chat
will get more serious if any girl tries to push that boundary, especially if you're nearby
is constantly asking you to show off your ring to people
holds that hand all the time as well, because he can feel the ring
and be content knowing that he gets to marry you
── 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐙𝐔𝐊𝐀 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈.
doesn't hide it and would probably mention it when it first happened
doesn't wanna be heckled by anyone, but wants people to respect your relationship
an absolute gentleman
also doesn't have a super strict family in terms of dating
just as long as they make him happy and he makes them happy, and there won't be a scandal
often kisses your ring when you're just sitting together
tamaki screamed and probably broke the windows because how could he not know???
mori is probably a little bit more talkative in public when you're around
probably won't even host anymore, he'd quit once you got engaged, even if you said he could keep doing it
now he's just a honey bodyguard
he'll still talk to the girls if they ask him questions, but he wants them to know that he's off limits
does so many little favors for you, you're so spoilt (he doesn't go overboard)
unless someone outright asks him though, he won't disclose that you're to be wed
being in a relationship is serious enough in his eyes, and this was technically supposed to be business stuff anyway
maybe he'll show off a little at host club events-

Can you do ohshc host club with a s/o who is like Diluc from genshin impact
I most certainly can! Gender-neutral Reader. Anyone can read this, you are just a member of the Host Club (remember that Benibara charmed the girls in Lobelia).
Does not include Haruhi. Feel free to request her, though.
Tumblr media
Tamaki Suoh
Before he truly got to know you, he was aware that you were of noble descent (probably because of Kyoya). Your family owned a winery, and a lot of rich families loved to import the wine from your specific winery. Hence why you got all that dough.
However, he also knew of your father’s passing. Since you were the oldest out of you and your younger brother, you inherited the business as well as the money. It also left you with habits of isolation that he tries repeatedly to break through. Eventually, you accept his invitation to the Host Club. After all, ladies like people with tragic backstories.
Eventually, he cracks through your cold exterior and gets to the gentle person that lies underneath. He charmed his way into your heart, so to speak. All the visitors notice the chemistry between the two of you and absolutely eat it up. One of the girls even pushed Tamaki to confess, which he did.
He confessed to you underneath one of the cherry blossom trees. His palms were sweaty and his knees were heavy (there’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti). A huge weight was lifted off of his shoulders when you accepted the rose and placed a kiss on his cheek. He was frozen in shock as blush erupted on his face.
Tumblr media
Kyoya Ootori
He was also aware of the family you came from. In fact, he was the one who suggested getting you recruited into the Host Club. You were from a very rich family, and you just became heir to the winery that his parents often order wine from.
Kyoya also knew of your father’s passing, and that’s how you became the heir of your family’s assets. Also, your younger brother was said to be a flirt. Even if that was the case, the Vice President saw more value in you than him. People love to romanticize a single, saddened person who is surrounded by alcohol.
You do eventually join the Host Club, and you both work side-by-side together in running the financial aspect of it all. That’s how you grew closer together, and now we can see Tamaki pushing Kyoya to confess his undying love for you.
He actually takes his advice, and tells you in passing. You weren’t the type to make a big deal out of things, so he figured this wouldn’t be an exception. You nearly dropped the folder you held, had you not been keeping a vice-like grip after he let it slip. You told him that you felt the same way, and he gently pressed a kiss to your temple before getting back to work.
Tumblr media
Mitsukuni “Honey” Haninozuka
Let’s be honest, you were probably shocked to see a child-like person running around Ouran Academy looking for sweets. It wasn’t a usual occurrence for you, especially since you had just recently transferred here with your younger brother.
Honey knew about you, but he didn’t know you. When Tamaki gave orders to get you recruited, he tried to use his child-like charm to try and get you to accept. Who can refuse him? Obviously not you, because you agreed.
He has to admit that your routine also worked on him for whatever reason. You would pour the visitors some drinks as you talked about taking care of them, if only they would accept your alcohol-earned money. To set aside all they ever knew and allow you to protect them. He kept getting distracted from work, and Kyoya encouraged him to confess so that he could get back on track.
One day, he hands you a box. When you opened it, you found that it was a cake he made for you. The frosting on top read as follows: “Will You Go Out With Me?” You let a small smile grace your face for a moment before accepting. After all, who can refuse him?
Tumblr media
Takashi “Mori” Morinozuka
It was an unusual sight for you, seeing a tall (fine-looking) gentleman escorting a child-looking student around Ouran Academy. You both officially met when you stopped him to ask him for directions to a certain class. Turns out, you both were heading in the same direction.
Tamaki had told the whole Host Club about your known history when he simultaneously ordered them to ask you to join the club. Instead of pulling off any sort of stunt, he just asked you like a freaking normal person. He felt glad that you accepted, but he didn’t show it.
He was secretly happy that you took to being a host so quickly. The host life wasn’t for everyone, after all. In fact, you got the most requests. He grew slightly envious of all your visitors, since you had them hooked onto your sad, ‘lonely’ charm. He didn’t get distracted, but Honey noticed and told him that he should tell you.
He eventually did, with a note. He wasn’t great with words, so a note would be the next best thing for him. It was surprisingly very sweet and romantic. As Eliza from Hamilton said, “He made palaces out of paragraphs”. He let a smile out when you accepted his confession.
Tumblr media
Hikaru Hitachiin
Like with Haruhi, he was in a few of your classes. When you were introduced to everyone (as you were a late transfer), you both met each other’s gaze. He quickly looked away, but he knew karma had to get back at him because you were sat right next to him.
When the President of the Host Club voiced his desire to have you join them, he was exasperated. No one would allow him to get you out of his mind, would they? After class, he decided to ask if you would be interested in being a host, and he was surprised when you accepted.
He honestly thought you made a great host. You even charmed a lot of the other hosts, and the visitors… don’t even get me started. Your promises of taking them away and taking care of them really felt like a personal attack for him because it secretly made him swoon. However, he constantly got distracted because of you. Kaoru eventually made him go confess to you.
When he did, he decided to do it in a very unorthodox fashion. He requested you to be his host, and in your private session he told you about his feelings for you. He let out a breath of relief when you accepted his love.
Tumblr media
Kaoru Hitachiin
He was also in a few of your classes. He was appointed to show you around Ouran Academy. It was then that he got a text from Tamaki. He explained that he had to go because there was an emergency Host Club meeting.
The next time you both met up with each other, you asked about the Host Club. He gave you the basic introduction, and he remembered that Tamaki had asked him to recruit you. He was absolutely ecstatic when you agreed to become a host.
He also thought you were a great host. Not only did you bring in mountains of revenue, but you also got into his head. You were like a siren, talking to others about your sad story and how you would never leave him them. He started getting distracted, and Hikaru got angry and made him confess to you.
He did it by handing you a rose everyday for a week. When he gave you the 7th rose, you knew what he was up to and accepted his feelings. He wrapped his arms around you in a hug, just happy as happy can be.

Okay— okay. Here me out. So I had this picture in my head of Eddie with his hair over his face, kinda looking like he wants to sink into the ground. And I could not figure out where this character archetype was familiar to me. And then it occurred to me: He’s Tamaki Suoh. This is relevant only in the following discussion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My friend and I, now discussing ST character archetypes in comparison to Ouran, thinking about how in that pairing structure that would make Steve Haruhi, but, of course, character wise, that archetype doesn’t work. (Steve is Takashi if Dustin is Honey but Karou if Robin is Hikaru, in which case Jonathan is Takashi, which probably works better.) And I pointed out that if anyone was Haruhi, from an archetypes perspective, it would be Will, to which my friend pointed out that Will also has a single doting parent (Ryoji).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then it occurred to me.
If Haruhi is Will, she’s more than likely El and Will rolled into one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Sunshine children)
WHICH MEANS RYOJI IS JOYCE AND HOPPER.
I repeat. Ryoji Fujioka is the mixed archetype of Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper.

The Case for Takashi x Haruhi P.4
Welcome back to the Case for Takashi x Haruhi, the series that travels through the manga and makes a case for why they should have been together. If you haven’t read Part One, Part Two, or Part Three they will be linked for your convenience. I would advise catching up before moving forward with Part Four. Because there is so much to unpack from Volume 5 it will be split between Part Four and Part Five (due to the length of the post being too long).
Please Note:
This post will contain examples from the manga so if you haven’t read the manga yet be prepared for “spoilers”.
This is all in the name of fun. I am by no means insulting or discrediting other pairings. I am just a person trying to spread more MorixHaru love into the world.
Please feel free to agree or disagree.
Shall we begin?
We begin Volume 5 with Haruhi first learning about her inadequate test scores, landing her the third rank in her class. The Host Club is surprised considering how intelligent she is and they offer her their condolences. The anime doesn’t include this episode but the live action does.
I’ve mentioned before how in the anime Takashi isn’t shown to comfort Haruhi in any way. He is either standing off to the side or appears disinterested altogether. Even during the beach episode when the hosts had a serious conversation with Haruhi the anime showed Takashi completely separated from the conversation; peacefully eating his crab without a care. However in the manga this is obviously not the case because Takashi is actively listening and involved in the conversation, even patting her head when she agrees to apologize.
So it’s safe to say that outside the manga Takashi is not as supportive and comforting as he truly is. The live action does a better job at displaying his sensitive personality but the anime almost portrays him as a robot compared to his manga self.
With that being said, we see another example of Takashi comforting and supporting Haruhi in a way the anime (for some reason) chose not to express. The twins give her a noogie but Takashi also offers a pat on the head.
Tumblr media
Why is this important? Takashi actively cares for Haruhi. He’s not in the background silently watching as he does in the anime. Takashi wants an active role in Haruhi’s life, not just a by-stander who happens to know her (as we sort of see in the anime). He wants to be called her friend rather than an acquaintance and to me that is very important.
Anime Takashi isn’t as involved with Haruhi as Manga Takashi. Not only does the difference create an injustice for the pairing but also for the character. Takashi is more layered in the manga but in the anime he’s barely a two-dimensional character with absolutely no background history. In fact, the anime doesn’t even introduce us to Satoshi, his younger brother yet we meet Yasuchika, Mitsukuni’s younger brother. If I’m not mistaken, the episode in which Yasuchika declares Mitsukuni an “alien” and agrees to duel with him - that is the same episode we’re introduced to Satoshi however he doesn’t make an appearance in the anime. Takashi’s life is swept under the rug once again, giving him the short end of the stick. Takashi’s character isn’t recognized which pushes him further into the background.
In the manga Takashi has more facial expressions and is shown behaving like his sensitive caring self. This is important because most of his “acts of comfort” are directed on Haruhi.
Tumblr media
The hosts ask her to choose which host will be her private tutor for the make up exam. Although it’s not made clear which subject Haruhi flopped in, each host offer their expertise. There’s a tiny little detail in this frame that I found quite interesting.
Takashi offers to help her in history. Why is that interesting? Haruhi’s favorite subject is history. Now, this doesn’t mean she’d need help in history. I find this detail interesting because it further proves why they are compatible.
Tumblr media
We are going to fast forward into the next episode when the Host Club joins Haruhi in Karuizawa. This is also when the Refreshing Battle takes place, which we will dive deep into.
The first little detail I’d like to discuss is their respective jobs. Tamaki and Mitsukuni are busy fixing a fence while the Hitachiin twins are escorting guests to their rooms. Kyoya isn’t actively participating which we see later on. So where is Takashi?
Tumblr media
I’d like to point out that Takashi isn’t with Mitsukuni during this Refreshing Battle, like we’d expect. Normally Takashi is always by Mitsukuni’s side and chooses to participate in whichever task he’s doing. Usually the pair chooses to stick together like the Hitachiin twins. However this isn’t the case here. Mysteriously, Mitsukuni is keeping Tamaki company outside while Takashi is inside... with Haruhi.
Tumblr media
Now this may not seem like a big deal but let’s continue, shall we?
Takashi is inside meddling with the tables when Misuzu asks Takashi to fix a table’s chair legs. He responds with, “Certainly.”
Tumblr media
Notice how he didn’t respond with his usual “sure” or silent nod. Takashi is trying to act refreshing. Takashi is actively trying to win the Refreshing Battle.
I would also like note that Mitsukuni isn’t taking this battle seriously. He’s a smart individual. He knows how to flaunt his cuteness. He’s strong enough to perform physical labor. Yet he chooses to goof off and watch Tamaki fix a fence. He isn’t even helping with the fence but simply keeping a conversation with Tamaki. Mitsukuni isn’t trying to win the Refreshing Battle, he’s just trying to have fun with his friends.
So if Takashi knows that Mitsukuni isn’t trying to win the one free room wouldn’t that encourage him to also not win? If Takashi was simply going to follow Mitsukuni wherever he went it wouldn’t be fair to the other hosts to potentially win without really intending on staying in the room.
Tumblr media
Kyoya also reveals how the hosts plan on staying in Karuizawa; at Mitsukuni’s vacation home because it’s the closest. Kyoya even had Tachibana deliver his luggage there. So Mitsukuni never planned on staying in Misuzu’s pension because he could look forward to having a sleepover with his friends.
So why is Takashi trying so hard to appear refreshing? He wants to win the room! He actually wants to stay in Misuzu’s pension. He wants to win this opportunity to experience a “bed and breakfast” with Haruhi.
Tumblr media
There isn’t any reason for Takashi to be chopping firewood but he is. Why? I have a theory that goes beyond trying to win the Refreshing Battle and it ties with the hosts’ confrontation with the Zuka Club.
Takashi wants to appear strong and masculine around Haruhi. Yes his stoic personality naturally makes him appear strong and masculine but he doesn’t boast about it. I feel Takashi is taking this opportunity to “show off” his strong masculinity... for Haruhi. Doesn’t it seem a little odd that when she’s inside he’s also inside casually picking up tables like they’re paper weights and when she’s outside he’s also outside casually chopping firewood while shirtless? I honestly cannot believe this was all coincidence. I truly believe Takashi was trying to inadvertently attract Haruhi’s attention. This is Takashi’s equivalent to flexing his muscles for her.
Kyoya asks Haruhi if she’d like to bet on the winner and though she declines he begins ruling out potential winners. He quickly rules out Mitsukuni and Tamaki, keeping the twins as a large possibility. However he makes sure to address the “dark horse” raising in ranks; Takashi.
Tumblr media
Kyoya theorizes that if Mitsukuni drops out then Takashi is sure to follow. This is where I strongly disagree with him. Yes, I think Kyoya is wrong. I believe if Kyoya didn’t interfere with the Refreshing Battle then Takashi would have won. If Tamaki never found the piano the Hitachiin twins wouldn’t have felt threatened enough to devise a sneaky plan. Takashi would have quietly won. Misuzu continually gave Takashi refreshing points while the other hosts were slowly losing points. I believe if Kyoya didn’t interfere then Takashi would have won the room and he would have stayed in the room.
Tumblr media
Still not sure if Takashi really wanted to win? Let’s take a look at this frame. While most of the hosts seem horrified that they’ve been “shown up” by Takashi the only host who seems happy is Mitsukuni. Why is that? Why would Mitsukuni seem excited that Takashi is doing well for himself in winning refreshing points?
Mitsukuni knows Takashi wants to win and he’s silently rooting for his victory. This would explain why Mitsukuni ws comfortable staying with Tamaki instead of helping Takashi with menial tasks. Mitsukuni knew Takashi wanted to steal this opportunity just like Tamaki and the Hitachiin twins.
I also believe Mitsukuni knew Takashi wanted to “show off” to Haruhi which is also why he chose to leave him to do as he pleased alone. Mitsukuni probably knew that if he hung around Takashi he wouldn’t have made as big of an impression. In a way, it was as if Mitsukuni gave Takashi his blessing.
Overall; Takashi tried to hit two birds with one stone by attempting to gain Haruhi’s attention and win the Refreshing Battle.
One final small detail I’d like to point out before we end this post; when Kaoru saves Haruhi from a fallen window notice where the hosts choose to stand. Mitsukuni is with Misuzu while Takashi is with Haruhi.
Tumblr media
Why would this seem important?
I believe this is when Takashi is beginning to think about pursing Haruhi. It might seem like a stretch (and it probably is) but think about it; Takashi made sure to check on Haruhi before seeing where Mitsukuni was. Usually Takashi stays near Mitsukuni but in this episode Takashi ventured out on his own. Takashi created his own spotlight, in a sense, by choosing to be alone. Mitsukuni was obviously alright with that, as mentioned earlier, and here we see Takashi is still standing in his own spotlight. When the Refreshing Battle neared its end Takashi didn’t return to Mitsukuni’s side... he went to Haruhi’s.
That concludes Part Four of the Case for Takashi and Haruhi. Thank you for reading and look forward to Part Five coming soon!

Apocalyptic OHSHC Story Idea: (MoriHaru centered)
A mysterious deadly virus devastates the world with rising death rates and no known cure or preventative. The only known fact about the virus is those with blood type O are somehow immune.
Society quickly crumbles as terrified chaos erupts. Neighbors turn against neighbors, families are torn apart, and new cults are formed in wake of the immunity revelation. The virus spreads quickly, leaving little to no chance of survival once it hits a city.
The host club are no exception, suffering at the hands of the virus. Kaoru is the first to perish, so unexpectedly that they didn't notice Hikaru showing symptoms. A few days later Hikaru dies, using his last breaths to make them promise they'll survive.
Their families are struggling to keep their empires from crumbling, centuries of progress and wealth nearly collapsing when all their staff abandons their posts to escape the chaos and few of the aristocrats manage to seal themselves in underground bunkers. After word of the Ootori's bunker quickly succumbing to the virus, the respective heirs of the host club make the difficult decision to not bury themselves with their families and stay above ground to find sanctuary elsewhere. The world has already ended, they do not grieve throwing away their fortunes. Their inheritance will mean nothing in the light of survival.
The hosts hear of a community in southern Russia that are accepting healthy outsiders. They debate on whether it's worth the risk but news travels quickly and the regrettably learn it's their own chance.
They set out to travel, first by car until the roads are too congested with abandoned cars, then along the highways until they realize they're easy targets for muggers and gangs, then by foot through forests and valleys where they can hide and forage.
Mitsukuni is the next to go, eventually passing beneath a weeping willow with Takashi sitting by his side, allowing the hanging branches to shield his tears but not his cries. All that's left is Tamaki, Takashi, and Haruhi.
Tamaki knows he's the next to die. His fiance has blood type O, as so does his friend, and he knows he cannot survive this. He can offer her empty promises on borrowed time until the inevitable. A few weeks later his ending begins. He coughs up blood as his fever rages even higher than the day before, his violet eyes dulled with his surrender. Tamaki makes Takashi promise him that he will protect Haruhi and care for her. Takashi agrees, vowing to get Haruhi to the community in Russia with whatever it takes. He promises that she will be safe and live a long happy life. With this, Tamaki feels he can finally let go. Takashi has to tear Haruhi from his body, tolerate her fists pounding on his back, her shrieking demands to let her go, but he carries her away just as tears spill from his own eyes.
The two travel in silence for a long time. Haruhi feels she will never forgive Takashi for not letting her grieve longer. Her anger slowly slips away day by day but the scar remains until one evening, he confesses what he promised to Tamaki, that he will do all he can to care for her in his wake. Haruhi seems to accept his vow but not his person. She will respect his loyalty but she won't allow herself to replace him with Tamaki. In the end she'll realize she doesn't have to replace Tamaki for she can love Takashi while keeping Tamaki's memory alive within her memories.
Months into their travels they must pass a rural village and are surprised to see there are still people living there. They are scared, not dangerous, but a mother approaches the two and begs them to take her two children who are blood type O. The mother is not and knows she doesn't have much time. She needs to give her children a fighting chance to survive and they would surely die here without her. Takashi and Haruhi eventually accept the 5 year old girl and the 3 year old boy, promising the mother they will bring them to Russia.
The elders in the village warn of gangs who scour the rural villages in search of blood type O's they call "type o's". They kidnap them and deliver them to cults and medical labs who are still performing experiments on their blood in search for a cure. Those are kidnapped are never returned and their bodies are later found in the rivers. The elders warn them not to believe their lies and to avoid them at all costs.
Shortly after they leave the village they do come across a gang who wants to take the children, promising they'll give the children a better life, that they have a facility specifically for type o's to live and flourish. Takashi manages to fight them off but not without a knife wound in the side. Luckily it didn't puncture any vital organs so Haruhi tears his shirt to make gauge, just enough a band aid to allow them to keep going.
Haruhi never thought herself to be motherly, as growing up without a mother, but she grows very attached to the children and does all she can to soothe their fears, feed their empty stomachs, and hold them close at night. Takashi makes it a habit to wake up early before the sun rises so he may be on guard, start a fire, and check the traps he set up the night before. Haruhi prepares their food, mends their clothing, and kisses the scrapes and bruises the children get after playing with sticks in the dirt. Takashi even creates two dolls made of sticks and cloth for them to play with.
A year has passed by the time they reach another rural village with people living inside. All the others they've passed through were empty, either deserted or filled with corpses, to which they covered the children's eyes as they walked past.
When they enter the village they are met with type o's, mostly friendly but some a little odd. They decide to stay for a few nights to rest and gather supplies before pressing on.
The first night Takashi and Haruhi meet with the others around the campfire after putting the children to bed. One man expresses his anger over the fact his blood is type o, saying there is no rhyme or reason to who survives and who lives, that mother nature has cursed them all even with an immunity. He says the type o's aren't the lucky ones, they are the unlucky ones who weren't meant to survive but will. They are "typos", as he says.
Haruhi offers that though they cannot explain what has happened they must press forward with their humanity. A woman in the circle bitterly laughs and says there is no humanity in what has happened, to both those who have died and those who will live on. She says she knew wonderful selfless people with all of the good of humanity wrapped into one person who succumbed to the virus, picked off by nature like a cruel punchline. There is no humanity anymore, only the animalistic instinct to survive. That, that is all they are now, animals living in the houses humans once built.
Takashi and Haruhi know they can't stay for long, that this isn't as safe as they thought. They decide to leave in the morning, packing their supplies the night before to make for an easy exit. However, while they sleep a man from the village tries to kidnap the children, waking Takashi and immediately forcing him to draw his knives, crushing the man's neck against the wall, pinning him. The man pleads for them to understand, that they need more type o's or else their village will die. They're way of life with die. They're traditions and history will be nothing but ghosts if they cannot replenish their population. Only a few in the village are actually type o's, making the rest vulnerable and desperate. The man tries to lunge for his knives but Takashi breaks his neck just as he moves. Haruhi turns the children away just in time but they hear the body slump to the floor. They are certain they must leave now. They have overstayed their welcome and they know the man did not act alone.
They escape the village, the two holding the children with their supplies on their backs while they run to make as much distance as they can. Eventually the yelling in the distance stops and they know they are safe again - at least for now.
A month later they come across a barn where five people are surprisingly living. Takashi and Haruhi are hesitant, keeping the children close behind them, but the people aren't dangerous and greet them with rabbit and leek stew. Haruhi and Takashi end up staying a few days at the barn, exchanging information and enjoying the pleasant company. The children find ways to play in the barn while Haruhi keeps an eye on them. It all seems well until one morning when a man allows the boy to come with him to the barn to help with the animals. It was innocent enough, the man wanted to show the boy how to collect eggs and milk the cows, but the boy accidentally startled the mule, making it kick the boy in the chest, breaking his ribs and puncturing a lung.
The men of the village say there is a hospital a day's journey east and Takashi and Haruhi frantically prepare to join them when they hear yells in the distance. The men know the voices to be a cult who collect the type o's to sacrifice as worship. None of the barn people are type o's and the neighboring cults know this. The men urge Takashi and Haruhi to head towards Russia and not follow them to the hospital lest they risk their little girl. Against their better judgement, Haruhi and Takashi head their advice. Haruhi kisses the boy's head and promises him she will find him again. The men promise to bring him to Russia after he is treated at the hospital. There is little time to waste. The boy's injuries are getting worse and the cult is moving in closer. They all leave in their separate ways.
Haruhi cries for days afterwards, holding the girl close as if to never let her go, mourning the loss of their boy. Takashi can only kiss her tears away and promise they will see him again.
.
.
that's all I got so far. but I felt inspired after seeing a news article saying people with the blood type o are less likely to get covid and I thought "hey, Haruhi and Takashi are canonically blood type o".

Hi how are you what’s up? Mwah <3
ANYWAYS
I NEED ALL OF THE OURAN CLUB X READER ROMANTIC HEADCANONS NOW PLEASE-
Host Club Relationship HCs
Anon I love your energy I hope you're doing well! Also fair warning since this is the first time I'm writing for Ouran! <3
Also, I will be using They/Them Pronouns for Haruhi !
Tamaki Suoh
Oh be prepared to get SMOTHERED in affection
Literally he's so clingy there's not a chance someone would see you two apart (aside from Club hours)
But with him being known as the princely type, he's quite the master at romance !
He'll be celebrating all the small anniversaries and holding candlelight dinner dates for the both of you every time
Also remember the weird Tamaki is the Dad thing? Yeah, the position of Mommy (regardless of gender) goes to you now
So expect your ever so loving boyfriend to drag you into the Host Club's antics frequently
Kyoya Ootori
In all honesty he can be rather detached and seem like he doesn't care, but he makes it up with his reassuring words and and actions
He's very observant, so much so that it's nearly impossible to get anything you want to hide by him
If you're ill? He's getting you the best doctor there is stat. See a clothing item you want while you're around him? It'd arrive on your doorstep the next day with a loving note attached to it
To onlookers, it might seem like Kyoya might be buying your affections, but it's not really the case
Although he's in a host club, Kyoya isn't the best at maintaining his romantic endeavors due to his cold demeanor
Behind closed doors he is trying to be just as loving as you can be and it's easier that way too. When it's just you and him he could finally have a chance to relax and spend more quality time with you
Haruhi Fujioka
In all honesty, your relationship with Haruhi is as normal as it can be
I can also imagine them going for more low key dates like simple movie nights and dinner at their home
Plus Haruhi is like the perfect partner omg-
They can actually be so comforting when you're stressed and someone who you could easily be vunerable with
Haruhi isn't one too be touchy and clingy, but they'll gladly settle for holding hands with you if you ask
Hikaru Hitachiin
Although he's not as clingy as Tamaki, I put him in the top 3 for the clingiest people in the host club
He always likes having you nearby him whenever it's possible and he'll always be attached to you when he spots the opportunity
The boy just has attachment issues don't mind him
Also I see him being the more jealous one of the entire host club
He gets moody if he gets jealous, making passive aggressive remarks to the other person
If you point out that he was jealous after his mood is better, he'd immediately get flustered and act like it didn't happen
Kaoru Hitachiin
He's another host to give you the most normal relationship (as normal as he can be when involved in the host club)
He's less clingy than Hikaru and (in my opinion) the best host to manage a relationship with you
I'd imagine him being afectionate still, holding your hand to classes and leaving you with a small kiss before you two leave
He's also more understanding, being a great listener and a decent source of comfort
Takashi Morinozuka
First thing: you will be carried. Like all the time
It doesn't matter how big you are, Mori loves carrying you around
Mori is a man of little words, but his actions are enough for you to know his affections
He leaves lingering touches and small kisses, all soft and gentle with you
When he does choose to speak, his words towards you are filled with so much love
He's also very protective of you, intimidating anyone or any fangirls who would give you trouble for dating the silent host
He's so soft for you omg
Mistukuni Haninozuka
The clingiest host out of all of them (unexpectedly)
If you are taller than him, there's no escape from being climbed like a tree and have Honey latch onto you like a koala
He loves gifting you Usa-chan privileges and encourages you to stop by when he's working as a host
He also loves gifting you various sweets and cakes to try ! He loves picnic dates and brings in so many cakes for the two of you

Hello there! Could I request the host love with an animal-loving s/o? Like, they would happily pet a snake or hold a tarantula or spend hours at a zoo or aquarium. Thanks!
Animal-Loving S/O
FANDOM: Ouran High School Host Club
Character(s): Tamaki Suoh, Kyoya Ootori, Kaoru Hitachiin, Hikaru Hitachiin, Takashi Morinozuka, Mitsukuni Haninozuka
Type of Request: Headcanons
Word Count: 284
Note(s): Okay but snakes are so pretty, I love them (am I able to hold them though? depends on the day xD). I’m happy to write this for you!
Tumblr media
Host Club
Tamaki and the twins definitely make faces when you want to pet snakes or hold the spiders.
Honey will watch from a distance and state that the reptiles are cute but you can be the one to hold them.
Mori keeps an eye on you just in case the animals do try to take a nibble. He knows they’re supposed to be pretty docile with living in captivity, but still. He’s going to be protective. He’d also be down to holding a snake.
Honestly, Tamaki prefers the petting zoo area rather than the reptiles/amphibians. Let him hug some goats with you instead of wanting to run from a snake.
Kyoya also probably watches from a distance. He’d reluctantly hold a spider or snake or something if you pester him about it but he’s mostly just going to keep an eye on you or read the exhibit information signs.
Kyoya probably has some allergies to some of the animals (like the ones in the petting zoo) so he’s just going to watch from afar the majority of the time rather than engage with the animals himself.
Kaoru definitely prefers looking at the cuter animals with you so you might have to do the snake petting by yourself. Like Kaoru would comment on the scales being pretty but they’re also scary.
Hikaru will try to act cool when it comes to you hanging with the spiders but as soon as he touches one, he is going to try and pass it off so he can bolt.
Haruhi is probably as unphased as you are with the animals. She’s not a huge lover of them like you, but she’s perfectly fine joining you with holding the animals.

The Host's most frequently used apps on their phones/tablet + phone cases.
Tamaki:
Tumblr media
Tamaki has a clear phone case and uses it as photo album. Maybe he'll stuff receipts in there. A memorable movie ticket. He definitely has a poloroid picture of Haruhi and him or of the Host club. Most likely also has a dumb faded sticker that he won't take off. Not because he likes it but because it's been on his phone for so long now that it feels personal. Like a friend.
Most used apps
SNOW (photo editing app)
Fruit Ninja
Group messaging app
Kyoya:
Tumblr media
Kyoya has one of those middle aged dad phone cases that doubles as a wallet because convenience purposes. Most likely leather. It was a birthday gift from Tachibana.
Most used apps:
His bank app (checks it at least once a day for security)
A Virtual book app (lol like a kindle?). He reads.
Group messaging app
Hikaru:
Tumblr media
He doesn't have a case.
Most used apps:
Spotify
Group messaging app
Instagram
Kaoru:
Tumblr media
He has one of those squishy glitter phone cases (for now). He isn't loyal to his case at all. He has a lot that he changes with his outfit. His phone is technically an accessory right?
Most used apps
Pandora
Browser (he shoppin)
Group messaging
Takashi:
Tumblr media
Takashi's got one of those super bulky heavy duty cases. It's probably one of those water proof ones. It makes his phone seem less tiny in his hands. And he's less afraid of dropping it this way.
Most used apps:
Browser
Group messaging app
YouTube
Mitsukuni:
Tumblr media
Big bulky pink phone case that can barely fit in his pocket. Lots of charms on the end, that he probably bought from those commoner claw machines. His ringtone kind of sounds like the ringtone on plastic toy phones for children, because it sounds cute. He's living his dream.
Most used apps
Candy Crush
Group messaging app
Tiktok
Haruhi:
Tumblr media
She doesn't have apps. Or a case. It's a Motorola. She's had it since high school. Lots of scuffs but it's in working condition!

Distraction: MoriHaru
Granted, this is not good, and barely proofread. but an office au gets me like nothing else 😩
-
Ouran High School Host Club
Takashi Morinozuka x Haruhi Fujioka
Office AU, established relationship
-
Takashi sorely needed a distraction when someone knocked on his office door, and when his wife walked in with a freshly brewed tea, his wish was granted.
“You seemed like you needed a refresher,” Haruhi explained as she closed the door behind her. The click-clack of her heels broke the monotony of the fan perched upon his desk as she drew closer. “You looked like you were about to fall asleep in that meeting. Keeping the other board members on their toes, I see.”
Her husband chuckled, always amused at how she knew what he was thinking. He could raise an eyebrow or flex a certain way and she could immediately diagnose what was plaguing his mind. Such empathy and ability to read minds made her a good lawyer--and a good wife and mother.
“Thank you,” he mumbled, taking the drink with a humble nod of the head. Steam fogged up his glasses, so he took them off, laying them on his desk without decorum. He hated wearing them--contacts were much preferred--but on nights with little sleep and days with even littler time to moan and mope, there was no way his eyes could handle it.
Haruhi watched him lean back in his chair, rolling and cracking his neck with lackluster enthusiasm. Running their own law firm was difficult, but parenthood had made it twice the struggle. Since she had given birth to their fourth less than six months ago, he had insisted on carrying most of the burden of raising their children, and it had taken its toll. His gray eyes, though still full of love, had lost their sparkle; though they looked at her with adoration, they were red-rimmed with exhaustion.
Luckily, she knew exactly how to fix that.
“You’ve been so tired recently,” she whispered, walking behind him and running her hands over his shoulders. His muscles were tight enough to snap under her fingers, refusing to flex even as she poked and prodded. The starch of his suit offered no help. “Take off your jacket, Taka.”
“Not nearly as tired as you,” he said, but obeyed, arching to slip the navy off and draping it against the back of his chair. “You’re the one who just delivered another child.”
“Yes, but it’s been a while.” He hummed as she dug her thumbs into his shoulderblades. “I’m recovered. The baby is in daycare, now, but the other three are still rough-and-tumble with you as their target.”
Takashi bit back a moan as she worked out a particularly deep knot at the base of his neck. The tea, the dark, rainy day outside, his wife’s soothing voice and hands...he could have fallen asleep right there. “I’ll be fine. It’s you I should worry about, still catching up on your old cases. I shouldn’t have let them give you so much right before you went on leave.”
She smirked at his clenching fists, proof her magic was working. “I’ve popped out four of your huge babies. I’ve dealt with paperwork more painful than the last. I’m fine.”
He rested his head back against her abdomen, where she had so recently carried his son. It amazed him, truly, how she could create and nurture a human life over the course of a year and bounce back so quickly. Then again, this was his Haruhi; everything she did defied the impossible.
Worrying for him was the last thing he wanted on her mind. “Please,” he said softly, reaching up to take her hand. She lowered it to his face, caressing her knuckles against the taut skin of his jawline. “I don’t want you worrying for me.”
“But you do everything concerning the kids and the firm,” she replied. Her voice soured with insecurity. “I don’t want you to burn out. We are partners, not only in this business, but in life. Our employees need both their bosses; our children need both their parents.” She shrugged her other hand through his hair. “And we need to spend more time together. I know you are just trying to give me a break, but I’m not going to stand by and watch as you burn the candle at both ends and end up scorching your palms.”
Takashi turned and kissed her hand, taking a swig of tea. She was right, as usual. He had learned better than to argue with another lawyer. “As you wish, my love,” he whispered, pressing another kiss to the ring adorning her finger.
“So that is why you’re going to leave work early, go out for dinner with Mitsukuni, and when you get home, you and I are going to have some nice drinks, a hot, candlelit bath, and a long, deep sleep.”
Takashi shot up to face her, disbelief written in the lines on his forehead. “That’s not possible,” he said. “I have to take Mako to her soccer game, and we haven’t hired a sitter--”
“Taken care of.” Haruhi grabbed his jacket and pushed it into his hands. “After Mako’s game the kids are having a sleepover with the Suohs, and Dad said he would take Umake for the weekend. He missed having a fussy baby, apparently.” After more urging, he slipped on his jacket, mind stuck on tired airplane mode. “Now go.”
“Mitsukuni…?”
“Has a table reserved at six. Now go home, one of the interns can take care of the rest of the paperwork.”
“But you’re picking Umake up from daycare, how can you watch Mako’s game? Who will watch Isao and Mari?”
Haruhi chuckled and pushed his back, urging him to move. “Tamaki will be there with his own little ones. Fairly sure that between me and him and all the other parents on-site, I can hold a baby on my hip and keep track of two toddlers while my other kid plays soccer.” She swatted his butt, a playful jab that always spurred him to action. “Now go. You’ll be late.”
Takashi turned for his computer. “My files--”
“I’ll save them. Go, Taka.”
By now she had successfully prodded him to his office door, only by his own sheer dumbfoundedness that revoked his ability to resist. He quickly resumed brain function, glancing down at her and grinning. “You did all of this behind my back.”
“It’s the only way to keep you from noticing.”
He lowered the shades to his window before grabbing her by the waist. With energy he hadn’t felt since teenagehood he nuzzled against the top of her head, nearly lifting her out of her high heels. “My devious little tanuki,” he chided, kissing her deeply, enough to ensure her lipstick was now smeared onto his skin.
“Always and forever,” she giggled, lightheaded with passion.
When they kissed again, he lifted her with enough strength to have her toes slightly dangling in the air, watching the blush sprawl across her cheeks with half-closed eyes. His strong, steady hand kept her pressed close to his core as his other snaked dangerously close to her bum. Up off the ground, she wound her arms around his neck and held on for dear life, fingers buried in his hair and the collar of his shirt. He couldn’t even remember the last time they had made out like teenagers--but she was right; it was a luxury they should indulge in more often.
Takashi lowered her back down to the ground, smirking as she tried to unsuccessfully straighten her wrinkled skirt. “Have I told you I love you lately?” he asked.
“Every single day,” she replied, crinkling her nose. “Now go. You have more of that waiting for you tonight.”
Hmm, he thought. Maybe I should get distracted more often.
As he exited his office with one final kiss, Haruhi turned around and began tidying up his desk. She gathered the proper paperwork, sorted his files, and had just shut down his computer when she saw the paper cup left behind on the coaster, what had set this whole idea into motion:
He forgot his damn tea.

OHSHC: Mitsukuni (Honey) x Fem!Reader Fluff
A/N: Okay so this was something I wrote WAY back in 2013 when I was obsessed with Ouran Highschool Host Club. So I did make a bunch of revisions (like fixing typos and changing up some of the events that occur).
But if you wanna read the original check it out on my DeviantArt!
Welp, hope ya'll enjoy this!
Tumblr media
It was a lovely Friday afternoon. School was out and most students were eager to go home.
But you, on the other hand, decided to visit the Host Club for a few hours. You always looked forward going to it everyday after school, though not just because you desperately wanted to be swooned by handsome men.
You just liked to observe the hosts indulging in their element, be it Tamaki’s flamboyant acts or the Hitachiin twins’ performances. All the while, you drank tea and ate delicious pastries whilst chatting with other ladies who babbled about their crushes.
Most had their eyes on Tamaki, for obvious reasons, but for you there was a different host that stole your heart every time, without fail:
Mitsukuni, or “Honey” as everyone liked to call him.
You did have a slight crush on him, considering you both shared classes and hung-out quite often on the weekends. But even after all the years you’ve known him, you never actually acted on this crush, not wanting to take away his duties as a host.
Besides he might treat you extra “sweetly”, but you assumed he was like this with all the other girls.
Unbeknownst to you, however, Honey didn't see you the same way as he saw them. To him you weren't just another visitor to entertain.
He saw you as something, well, more.
........
'Okay this wasn't...what I expected. But I guess I'll have to stay for a little while longer..' You sighed as you looked down at the blonde who was now laying on your lap.
Honey must've had a sugar crash, since he fell asleep on the same sofa you so-happened to be on, even though the club meeting had ended fifteen minutes ago.
'Poor guy must be tired, running around and entertaining..he deserves at least this.' Relaxing back against the sofa, you gently stroked his hair with one hand, and kept Usa-chan wrapped around your free arm. You were sure he wouldn't mind it, given that he's let you hold it before.
All the while, you hummed a gentle song, taking note of the tiny smile that adorned his sleeping face. You knew very well that you shouldn't move, but you didn't mind it.
Being able to get this close to him made it worthwhile.
Haruhi, Mori, and Kyoya would glance over every so often while they were cleaning up, smiling at the scene. Meanwhile, Tamaki and the twins were hiding behind a nearby couch, looking at you with comically-wide eyes. They wondered how you've managed to not wake up Honey at all, and how you were so calm.
You looked over and gave them a bemused smile, waving politely. Honestly you didn't know what their deal was. They were staring at you like you were about to invoke the wrath of god.
Or in this case the wrath of the loli-shota.
"H-How does [y/n] do that?" The frenchman stammered as he gazed at the twins.
""It must be Nekozawa's sleeping magic. Maybe she's in cahoots with him."" The brothers replied, trembling too.
"You guys are acting insane." Haruhi sighed as she walked past the three with a porcelain tray in her hands. "She’s known Honey-senpai for years, so..it's obvious they're close. Doesn’t take a genius to know why she’s not afraid of him.”
"But why does she keep choosing him every time she visits?!! A-Am I somehow unworthy?!!" Tamaki cried out, already tearing up. "It makes no sense!! Mommy!! What do you make of this?!!" He swung his head to the already-annoyed Kyoya.
"Tamaki..our job here at the club is to make every girl happy, right? That includes Miss [L/n]-"
"B-But-But..she could at least give me a cha--!!"
"If you'll let me finish..." The black-haired male huffed. "Like every girl here, she has the right to choose whichever host she desires. You don't get to make that decision for her. So I suggest you keep it down, lest you wake up Honey-senpai." Fixing his glasses, he turned back to his laptop, ending the conversation.
Tamaki pouted in defeat and got up from his hiding spot. The twins followed him to where you sat and crouched down, now more curious than fearful.
"Gentlemen." You sighed quietly, waiting for them to get to the point so they could leave you alone.
"How are you able to keep so calm??" Hikaru hissed.
"We told you how he acts when his nap is disturbed.” Kaoru added. “You’re taking a big risk-”
“You’re overreacting a bit.” Finding it hard not to chuckle at their bewildered expressions, you kept your gaze on Honey instead. "I see no reason to be terrified of him waking up from a nap. People get cranky after naps all the time. But they eventually get over it, don't they?"
Then you glanced back up at the three, smiling reassuringly. "I do believe that little “horror story” you told me. But don't worry, if anything happens I'll protect you guys, okay? Nothing bad will happen to anyone here...especially not Honey.” You patted the sleeping blonde’s head.
The twins were relieved--moved, even--by your response, but Tamaki on the other hand seemed a bit freaked out by your promise to protect them. He tried grabbing your shoulders to yell about how “guys should protect girls, not the other way around”, though the duo managed to restrain him.
"B-Boss!! Cut it out!"
"You're gonna wake him!!!"
Unfortunately, the commotion they were making was exactly what stirred Honey from his rest. The three hosts immediately retreated back to their hiding place, expecting their fellow club member to awaken in rage.
But all he did was open his eyes and rub them tiredly.
"Morning, Hon." You chuckled, ruffling his hair lightly.
As he realized you were still in the same spot as before, he smiled up at you. "Did I really sleep all night, [y/n]-chan?"
"No, only for a little while." You allowed him to sit up, and you handed him Usa-chan. "Have any good dreams?"
"Hmm..yeah, I did." Honey took his rabbit plushie, legs swinging as he tried to recall the details. "I..we were at a fair with lots of cake and ice cream! Then I...o-on the ferris wheel I might've..." He hugged the rabbit closer, to the point of hiding his blushing face.
You tilted your head in curiosity. "Might've what?"
"A-Asked you out and..and k-kissed you."
His response stunned you, and you could feel your heart skip several beats. In truth you've had similar dreams, although you never did get to the kissing part--instead you'd wake up with disappointment, never knowing if he accepted your confession.
"You know I dreamed of that, too. But..I never knew what your answer would be." You sighed despondently. "No matter how much I try to fall back asleep..I can't finish that dream. It's a shame.."
He shyly looked up at you, and he set down Usa-chan before taking your hands into his own. You gazed at him with surprise, wondering what he was going to do. "Honey? What-?"
His face inched closer to yours, and before you knew it, he kissed you perfectly on the lips.
Yep! Right here and right now he was kissing you!
The kiss tasted sweet, much like his personality and all those desserts he's had throughout the day. And you were in shock that this was really happening, but you smiled into the kiss, wanting to return it before he got the wrong idea.
When you both broke apart, Honey's eyes were large and tearful. But they were happy tears. "Y-You really do like me? But..I-I thought...I was too-"
"Honey, there's nothing about you that I don't love." You chuckled. "You're a good-hearted, smart, strong, and kind man. And that's all I could ever ask for. We've been great friends for a while and...the fact we share the same dreams must mean something."
"Something like...u-us being a couple, right?"
"Exactly, and right now..I wanna make those dreams a reality. Will you help me make them so?"
He was so overjoyed that he embraced you tightly, nearly crushing your spine. But you hugged him back, resting your chin on top of his head. You could feel his vigorous nod and knew that this is what he wanted for so long.
Of course he was probably still worried about his position as a host, so you looked to the others in question. "A-Ah..I meant to ask-"
"I see no issue with this," Kyoka smiled lightly. "I trust that this newly-blossoming relationship will not interfere with club activities."
""We knew you two were gonna get together eventually."" The twins spoke in unison once more, although they were just glad that Honey didn't snap at anyone this time.
Haruhi and Mori only flashed smiles at you two, the latter happy about his cousin finally confessing to the one he loved. He’s known about it longer than anyone at the club.
Once you let go of Honey, he jumped up and grabbed your hands, pulling you to your feet. "Takashi!! Can [y/n] come over for the weekend??"
"Sure, why not?" The tall male nodded.
"Yaaaay--huh? Tama-chan?" Honey blinked as he noticed the only one who didn't react positively was the club leader himself, who was sulking in the corner. "Aren't you gonna say anything?"
"Yes..I'd say we're all done here," he sighed in an exasperated tone. "If [y/n]'s happiness lies with Honey-senpai then...that's how it is, I guess. The host club is dismissed. You’re all free to leave now."
Of course, that wasn't the kind of send-off anyone expected. But the other hosts left, figuring Tamaki would eventually get over it. Though you told Honey to wait outside for a moment, not wanting to end this day on a sour note.
You reentered the now empty music room, seeing the princely-type staring out the window solemnly. Part of you felt guilty for not spending more time with him, even though he was often a nuisance trying to steal your attention.
"Hey, Tamaki-senpai..I have a feeling I somehow offended you by choosing Honey over you. And I'm sorry-"
"Nonsense." He glanced back at you, the brightness returning to his violet eyes. "I'm so obsessed with trying to charm every lady that it turned me into a blind fool. Until now I never realized that, in the end, it's what makes you happy, not me. I won't get in the way of your relationship with Honey-senpai. Cross my heart."
He made a gesture to seal that promise, smiling softly. "I mean it. I'm very happy for you two and I wish you all the best."
Knowing that he wasn't angry or upset anymore, you smiled and rewarded the "king" with a peck on the cheek. He gasped lightly and stared at you, touching the spot where you kissed him.
"Thank you. It's because of you and this club that I got to know Honey even more so...I owe you at least this. Have a good weekend." You winked before you turned on your heel and ran after your new boyfriend, leaving an incredibly flustered Tamaki alone in the room.
'Ahaha..her heart may belong to another, but she took the time to repair mine.’

Tell me more about autistic Kaoru
OF COURSE. his biggest special interest is Cinderella. Absolutley adores that movie and watches it constantly. Was mostly into it as a child/in middle school but he still loves it and talks abt it. Watched it so much I think Hikaru is able to recite the whole thing word for word.
He also had an mlp phase that he's very embrassed abt (also bc Hikaru routinely made fun of him for it) (but Hikaru also watched it with him so what does that say about him...). His fave was always Rarity. Didn't watch the later seasons as he kinda forgot to. G5 was announced when he was in college and it brought all the memories back and somehow he and Hikaru convinced the whole Host Club to watch it with them. Hani loves it, Haruhi thought it was cute, Tamaki cried (hes emotional), Kyoya doesn't give a shit, and Takashi liked it but you wouldnt know that bc he never talks lol.
Since his autism isn't severe, it wasn't really recognized and he didn't get diagnosed until after highschool. He and Hikaru never really thought about it much, they just figured that's how Kaoru was. Like, that he just loved certain things a whole lot and was compelled to talk abt them for hours, that he got really fidgety when excited (I would think pacing/moving around a lot), and that he just hated certain textures with a passions (when he was a little kid he cried if people tried to make him wear socks normally. He hated the feeling so bad he Must wear them inside-out) (no im not projecting what are you saying haha) and that he could be overwhelmed and unable to do certain tasks (executive dysfunction) for "no reason"
It was actually Haruhi who, after being Kaoru's friend for all of highschool, suggested he get tested because she thinks he MIGHT be autistic. So he did, and well what would you know. At least it explained a lot of things he couldn't adequately explain before.
Side note I think Hikaru has ADHD. He moves on from topics/ideas at the speed of light and gets bored very, very easily. Its a known thing that the twins will stop doing something if it gets boring, but I like to think 90% of the time it was Hikaru who decided those things were boring and Kaoru just followed along bc he didn't care one way or the other. He's always looking for something to keep himself occupied so that's why he comes up with so many crazy ideas. The introduction of the Host Club actually helped improve his quality of life bc 1. it gave him something to do and someplace where he could excersizes his ideas and 2. it was able to teach him some patience since he DID have to be still and slow occasionally just chatting with people. I also think it helped both twins with getting used to routines, since they never cared much for school (Hikaru struggled to pay attention and Kaoru did as well because he thought it was boring).
Hikaru got his diagnosis the same time as Kaoru since they figured they should both get tested just in case (and because he didn't want Kaoru to feel singled out). He didn't expect anything to come from it but surprise!

Your thoughts on Tamaharu and Kyokao?
TamaHaru
Don't Ship It
Why don't you ship it?
Cause I am a brat and it’s canon. But really, anime ending...kiss kiss fall in hug…? Even in the anime we don’t get that nice canon ending. And don’t even get me started on just how much Haruhi ends up changing in the manga to make them more compatible as a couple.
What would have made you like it?
If the comparison between Tamaki and Ranka was never made. Granted we know that Haruhi can handle a personality like Tamak because of her father but I can also see how she would have to work through some childhood trauma to make it really work. Honestly it is just a huge case of Parentification. If you don’t know what that is...Google it.
If he honestly had some more chill. Really, just chill out. They have so few moments between them to really convince me that they were around each other enough to fall in love.
Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?
I enjoy how despite every wall that Tamaki throws up to keep others at a distance Haruhi still sees him for who he is. She sees his loneliness. She sees how deeply he cares for others. But she also sees how much he doesn’t do that for himself. I also enjoy some of the sweeter moments they have in the anime. The first being him helping her find her stuff in the fountain and the second being him paying respect to her mother’s shrine. Out of all the hosts I would have assumed that Takashi would have been the one (considering he runs a bit more on the traditional practices) to notice and do something. Tamaki has his moments, I just don’t think it is enough to justify them as endgame.
KyoKao Ship It
What made you ship it?
Ep 16 - Operation Haruhi and Hikaru’s First Date! I love their interaction at the end of the episode.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
I find it particularly interesting of their interactions at the end of the episode. Consider this, how many times do we see Kyoya hosting in the anime? Very little. Most of his interactions with hosts are along the premise of making more money for the host club. So when we see them interacting in this episode it really struck me. Most of the other characters in the anime have a very particular view of Kyoya. Not only is he known for being the ‘Low Blood Pressure Demon’ but he is also referred to as the ‘Shadow King’. He comes off cold and calculating. Most guests tend to steer clear of him, opting to interact with the other hosts. But in the end scene in particular there is a familiarity and openness between the two of them. It seems more personal.
Also if you have not already you should read “The Five Years Game” by SedentaryZebra
After reading this fic I was completely sold on the ship. The banter between them is fantastic and it really give you a good sense of their relationship dynamic. Not to mention it is one of the few well written long fics for such a rare pairing in the fandom.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I think this ship itself tends to be unpopular, though I am not really sure why. When you break down their interactions and their personalities I really think they could make it work. Koaru would liven up Kyoya’s life and Kyoya would keep Kaoru grounded. Kaoru is not as impulsive as Hikaru and because of his perceptiveness we know that they would get along.

The Case for Takashi x Haruhi P.1
As most of my followers may already know, my OTP for Ouran Host Club is Takashi Morinozuka with Haruhi Fujioka. When I read the manga for the first time I fell in love with the idea of them being a couple and the more I re-read the volumes the more I believe they should have been together.
I want to make a case for Takashi and Haruhi for a few reasons;
I believe they have silent chemistry throughout the manga.
They have similar interests and values, making them compatible.
They have a good understanding of each other that the manga doesn’t really delve into.
They interact a lot behind the scenes in the manga but we never see those moments, only hear about them afterwards. So they spend more time together than we are aware of.
I’ve noticed a lot of the appeal around this couple is based on pairing the tall host with the small host but their relationship goes much deeper than a fetish.
By creating this post I am by no means insulting other pairings or the people who ship other pairings. I am just a person who wants to spread more love for TakashixHaruhi into the world. Also, this is purely for fun and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. These are made-up characters, not real people, so to each their own!
Naturally, this series will have spoilers for manga.
Shall we begin? The post covers Volumes 1-2. Because I am using examples from the manga this case will be broken down into separate posts. Please stay tuned for the following posts!
I will only use examples from the manga for this case because the anime and live-action, though deriving from the manga, have been altered in a few ways and I want to stay true to the story line.
The Beginning
When Haruhi is first introduced to the Host Club the manga doesn’t give a set timeline of when each host discovered her true gender, only that the other hosts continue calling Haruhi a guy for Tamaki’s sake - because he doesn’t figure it out until the very end of Episode 1.
When Haruhi is trapped in a deadly Tamaki hug she calls out to Takashi for help. I’m sure she asked for his help only because he was nearest to her but his reaction is what’s interesting. The anime uses this moment to show when Takashi discovers Haruhi is a girl... but again... the manga doesn’t show a clear timeline when each host discovers her real gender.
I emphasize on the timeline because of this moment right here.
Tumblr media
Let’s say Takashi knew her real gender from the beginning. It would explain why he quickly comes to her rescue without hesitation - or even a glance at Mitsukuni. He wouldn’t allow a lady to suffer an uncomfortable situation.
I would also say his inappropriate hold on Haruhi could be explained by his lack of experience with handling women. I headcanon Takashi as a person who doesn’t act outside his interests - sort of like Kyoya - but his intentions are purer. Takashi will not lead on a woman if he doesn’t like her. He’s too much of a gentleman to lay his hands on a woman. I’m sure Takashi doesn’t have experience rescuing women from deadly hugs and so his haste actions led him to touch Haruhi’s chest.
Now, I do believe Takashi knew she was a woman before he rescued her from Tamaki’s hug.
I say that because of this...
Tumblr media
Mitsukuni says he knew Haruhi’s real gender the moment he met her. The manga doesn’t really reveal which moment that is; it’s between meeting her at the vase and handing her his bunny.
However, can we honestly believe that Mitsukuni did not tell his own cousin what he discovered? He wouldn’t have kept such a juicy secret to himself! He must have told Takashi while they were out of frame. Which leads me to believe Takashi also knew from the beginning... thus his rescue becomes more interesting.
But what about Haruhi? We know that Takashi and Mitsukuni at least find her interesting (it’s still the beginning so I’m sure they’re more curious than in love) but what does Haruhi think about them?
In Episode 1 and 2 she is introduced to the hosts and slowly learns more about them but she isn’t curious to know more about them. In fact, the two people she wants to know more about are...
Tumblr media
Takashi and Mitsukuni.
Takashi’s Distracted
In Episode 2 we see a brief exchange between Takashi and Haruhi that neither the anime or the live action includes. Takashi storms into the Host Club with his battered cousin because he accidentally stepped on him.
Takashi - the Kendo champion, the man bred to protect and serve the Haninozuka family, the loyal friend who never leaves Mitsukuni out of his sight - wasn’t paying attention long enough to step on Mitsukuni.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ll be the first to say this may be a long stretch but... what if Takashi was distracted because of a certain host maiden?
By Takashi’s drastic reaction - breaking the door of its hinge and hitting Kanako with said door without noticing - he felt terrible about hurting Mitsukuni. It’s out of character for him. So this begs the question, what has caught Takashi’s attention?
Haruhi helps bandage Mitsukuni’s wound while Takashi mends the door he broke. When Haruhi announces Mitsukuni will be ok Takashi offers her a smile as his thanks.
Tumblr media
And Haruhi blushes because he smiled.
Takashi Blushes Over Haruhi
We mostly see Tamaki, the twins, and occasionally Mitsukuni blushing over Haruhi and her natrual cuteness. But Takashi is also affected by her and he is often blushing alongside his friends.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Takashi is just as affected by Haruhi but since he’s the silent one who prefers to stand in the very back... he’s either easily overlooked or quickly forgotten.
Takashi Becomes Protective Over Her
Episode 3 in the manga is Episode 4 in the anime; when Renge is introduced. Remember the scene when Renge provokes two Class-D students to anger for her movie and Haruhi gets hurt because of it? The anime shows Tamaki as her sole savior but the manga adds another person to her rescue...
Tumblr media
What makes this scene very interesting to me is the fact that Mitsukuni isn’t shown. The twins are seen sarcastically calling for a teacher to chastise the troublemakers and Kyoya - who infamously breaks the camera - but no Mitsukuni. Either his shortness naturally kept him out of frame or Takashi moved without him.
If the latter is true... then that means Takashi left Mitsukuni to save Haruhi.
Here we see him acting protective over Haruhi way before the artificial beach scene - we’ll get to that part.
The Forgotten Trio
I would like to point out something that I’ve noticed in both manga and anime; Haruhi prefers to sit with Takashi and Mitsukuni if she chooses to join a table. She doesn’t join Tamaki or the twins and the only time she joins Kyoya is to speak to him.
Tumblr media
Why is this important? Because I surmise Haruhi is naturally drawn to the duo. They offer the most peace in the club. Since this isn’t the only time she sits with the cousins I would say she finds solace with them. Tamaki is an obnoxious flirt, the twins are mischievous devils, and Kyoya is a conniving shadow lord... it makes sense Haruhi would prefer the quiet servant and the bubbly martial artist.
Takashi Doesn’t Want Haruhi To Leave
We all remember the glorious moment when the Host Club was able to convince Haruhi into going along with their plans and remain their secret host maiden.
But have we forgotten that Takashi was the one to strike the deal?
Tumblr media
Takashi didn’t want Haruhi to leave the Host Club - and dare I say leave him - and remembered she still hadn’t tasted giant tuna (mind you, he remembered that from the Christmas party and it is now the spring physical exams).
And we know that he hit the nail on the head with this because it caught Haruhi’s attention. Our quiet boy pays very good attention to our host maiden, guys!
The Artificial Beach
Probably the most famous interaction between Takashi and Haruhi is when they traveled through Kyoya’s artificial beach together in search of Mitsukuni. Most people like this scene because Takashi calls her by name for the first time and he protects her from armed police. I like this scene for the same reasons but I want to add a few more points I think are interesting.
First off, we see that Takashi is becoming more comfortable around Haruhi. He approaches her when he wants to take a break from Mitsukuni and gratefully accepts her drink (which she already took a sip of, it’s not like she’s offering him a brand new bottle of water).
Tumblr media
When Mitsukuni is swept away by the tide and the group searches for him, Haruhi notices Takashi is acting weird without his cousin. While everyone is focused on finding Mitsukuni, Haruhi is focused on Takashi and how he’s coping.
Tumblr media
That says so much... right there. She notices he’s acting weird and instead of making fun of his clumsiness like the twins or turning a blind eye to his fall, she instead worries about him.
But she doesn’t silently worry about him. She tries to comfort him. This is the first time in the manga where we see Haruhi trying to comfort someone in pain! And it’s Takashi!
Tumblr media
The anime has him say “you’re right” but in the manga he doesn’t say anything. He just rumples her hair in response.
Also, the anime doesn’t show her reaction. Here we see how she reacts.
AND SHE BLUSHES WITH A SMILE! Takashi doesn’t say a word and yet she understands him. She understands all that he is saying in his smile and his small action. And not only does she understand it, she accepts it with a smile and a blush! (I am getting goosebumps just typing this). LOOK AT THEIR SMILES FOR EACH OTHER!
Tumblr media
When Takashi wants to wander off into the jungle Haruhi insists on joining him, even fighting the jungle along the way. Haruhi, the lethargic one who would rather stay out of people’s business and not get involved where she doesn’t need to, chases after Takashi into the jungle. She didn’t have to. She could have easily let him wander off and tell Kyoya that they lost Takashi too.
She was willing to get lost in the jungle with Takashi to make sure he was alright.
Tumblr media
We all remember Haruhi thinking it felt nice to hear Takashi say her name (which will never go unnoticed) but I want to ask... why did he choose that moment to say her name? He’s known her for a few months now and yet he chose that moment to say her name.
This proves Takashi is becoming very comfortable with Haruhi (also proven with how he picks her up without asking her permission - and she allows it) and his feelings are beginning to make themselves known.
He sees her trying to comfort him, to keep him company, and to watch him. He sees her doing his job. This probably moved him to act on his feelings rather than his manners.
When the Black Onion Squad catches up to them, I notice two things; Takashi’s serious face and how Haruhi holds onto him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The anime doesn’t show how protective Takashi becomes. The manga shows him becoming her human shield against the armed police. He literally hides her beneath him while he’s fending off the guns. And by his facial expression he will not give up Haruhi without a fight.
Also... I wonder about something. The Morinozukas and the Haninozukas are known to train bodyguards and personal armies. And with Takashi being Kyoya’s friend for a while now, wouldn’t he have recognized the Black Onion Squad as Kyoya’s men? Wouldn’t he have read a badge or recognize the uniforms? Because remember, the men apologized profusely for hunting down Mitsukuni and confessed to having trained in their dojos.
Takashi must have known that Haruhi wasn’t in any real danger since it was Kyoya’s personal army... and yet he still refused to give her up.
Alright, this concludes Part One! Please tell me your thoughts so far. Feel free to agree or disagree. I will admit that most of this evidence is probably stretching really far, but it’s all in the name of fun so I don’t mind. And thank you! MorixHaru shippers, RISE UP!
