Wow, just wow. @somerandomdudelmao, your series was incredible. I only found your comic in July and I didn’t become an active tumblr user/follower till September, but I’m so glad I got to watch this project come to a close. The ROTTMNT fandom wouldn’t be the same without you and your comic. You’ve inspired so many people, including me, and I just want to say thank you, Cass. Thank you for making my year a little bit brighter. Thank you for reigniting my love of art. Thank you for creating. Thank you for existing.

You’re no longer just some random dude lmao. You’re the creature who fixed the apocalypse, the creature who brought together thousands of people and built a family. A family of turtles and fans.

In honor of C.A.S I wanted to color and animate the final panel of the comic. Im still learning color theory and digital art but you’ve inspired me to improve, and what better way to start than with the end? It was a beautiful ending, so perfectly paced and full of a peaceful hope twinged with a bittersweet sadness. Your comic might be done, but this turtle family will live on forever.

Donnie doesn't sit quite where he is supposed to, because I flew too close to the sun and he paid the price for my hubris.

I was sad to glue Casey to the base, holding him brought me joy... But I think he turned out pretty good!

I need a better camera, there is weathering on Casey's arm and leg wraps that you can't see... I think he looks better in person, too... The nose shading between his eyes is my favorite part for some reason.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I am aware I put the top ninpo arm on backwards, looks super cool and menacing from certain angles lol

hello, people of tumblr!

i've been lurking on this accursed website for a while and in all that time i've never actually posted. but... i've become absolutely captivated by @somerandomdudelmao's genuinely excellent apocalypse au for rottmnt and these redraws were born. i absolutely adore her donnie and his many silly poses and facial expressions. plus that last episode was just so perfect. i just really wanted to share them since I'm really happy with how they turned out! and also... i'm really emotional about cass' silly little version of the turtles and their casey jr and this is my way of getting that emotion out before i explode hehe

thank you cass for this excellent series! your updates usually come while i'm at work and they give me something to be excited about while i get through my day! they melt my heart and make me smile every time :)
