In the WarioWare: Move It microgame "The Big Moment", the aim is to propose to a woman with a ring, which is put into one of three ring boxes and needs to be opened with the correct timing.

Interestingly, the woman does not merely have "success" and "failure" expressions, but also unique humorous expressions for different types of failures, which are seen extracted from the files here.

Top row (regular expressions): waiting to be proposed; being proposed with a ring; being proposed with an empty box.

Bottom row (bonus expressions): being proposed with a jack-in-the-box; being proposed with a donut; being proposed with a bell pepper.

There is also a discord, a number of facebook groups, a selection (or starterpack?) on bsky and people like @filkyeahfilk here on tumblr and lots and lots of youtube, bandcamp, and spotify to find for anyone interested! And free online concerts with some regularity if you know where to look!

(Also, as a charity unfortunately currently only available in the USA and Canada, InterFilk is doing mini-grants to help bring more people to filk conventions which are halfway between music festivals and conventions. The minigrants are aimed at people 18-35 but i am fairly reliably informed that if not enough people sign up in that range someone older could also get some money to attend a con)

lowkey driving myself insane thinking too much about the lack of hemispheres in the original show and how the entire world is on the northern hemisphere season cycle except sometimes characters refer to the correct season of the southern hemisphere but then its not visually I just need to stop caring and CHANGE THE SEASON IN KYOSHI WARRIOR EPISODE

Another question about elliptical orbits: would either pole get the months long or at least exaggerated day/night of the poles we have from the cycle, bc i think i remember Sokka talking about midnight sun madness.

If it doesn’t, how tilted could the axis of the world get to cause the extended day/night without interfering with a) the solstices, or b) the seasons.

… related to the above, were equinoxes mentioned anywhere in atla canon? Shows, comics, or novels?

The Bigfish and Begonia is one of my favorite animated movies. The design and pictures of many scenes in this animation are very attractive and exciting to me. The cover designer of this film is a Chinese designer whom I like and respect very much. His name is Huang Hai. His works are always very delicate, each picture can let me see a vivid story. In this picture, I can feel the girl who loves Bigfish is dancing and swimming from her heart through his design. I hope you enjoy it too.
