Not that I don’t think some interbreeding happened, but there are shadowhunter families all over the world. The Verlacs hardly get mentioned outside of Sebastian. Or the Montclaires, Pangborn, Turan, etc. CC just chose to write mostly about these specific families.

It had been about four months now. Three months from her old life, three months of learned that most people’s fears are a reality. Vampires, ghosts, werewolves, demons; they’re all real. And she had been hunting them. There was so much to know about this new world and she would have never survived with Dean. He had taught her everything she needed to know about this world. Still, though, she knew very little about him. Sometimes she got bits and pieces, through his sarcastic comments or the many arguments they had gotten into. Embry would have hated him at first if she wouldn’t have needed him. He was cold and closed off to her, but slowly he had opened up. Now, at least she thought, he cared about her somewhat. He had saved her and she had saved him a few times. This dangerous of a job you need someone to watch your back and Embry had finally began to trust him. Spending hours on end in the Impala or sharing motel rooms had become a routine for Embry and she couldn’t imagine this life without it now. 

“How much longer?” Embry looks up from the book in her lap, her eyes adjusting from the text to the long road ahead of them. Looking over to the familiar sight of Dean driving, she became aware of the music playing through the radio.

It is a given that I would talk about cary. y’all should have seen this coming. Because Cary and I met when I was a wee small young blogger in high school and then we did some toddler sammy things and then we started talking OOC and things absolutely spiraled from there because now we talk like all the time and like?? she always makes me happy and knows what to say to make me feel better. I get kind of off kilter when i don’t get to talk to cary like every day of the universe. we have so many good verses going on right now and we like to absolutely slaughter each other with head canons and domestic daddy dean feels and fluffy christmas things and she is  a precious marshmallow butterfly manatee human and has been with me since a few months after i created sammy and look where we are now. My love. my cary. cary is bae. cary is life.

also a given. I’m so glad we started talking sometime last year because i’m absolutely in love and tbh still a little intimidated by this portrayal of Frigga because it’s amazing. Mun is so sweet and deserves all the love. I love our verse because it makes me emotional and i get to explore the darker corners of sammy and poke a little at things like his abandonment issues and his ptsd and how much he craves affection and see how the character of Frigga is fleshed out and made in depth and interactions with other characters from MCU and comic verses which i always crave seeing on my dash bc i love all the marvel blogs and how amazing you guys are but yes 13/10 would recommend this babe

Everyone knows how i feel about Clint barton I think. But yes he is absolutely bae and i’m upset that MCU hasn’t done him justice, but i hold out hope for civil war that they will give us more in depth Clint. But this right here is a fantastic Clint! I’m glad they indulge me for interactions from time to time when I have feels i need to torture someone with about how Sam fits into the whole team dynamic. The world was fuzzy for a second, and a low groan left Ginny’s lips as her head began to pound. The last thing she remembered seeing was a baseball bat flying towards her head. She could still hear the ring of the aluminum piercing through her ears. But she was alive. That was good enough for her. 

She and Dean were enjoying a night out at the bar, for once a hunt ended with enough time to celebrate and dip into their savings to do so a little more than usual. 

Ginny went to reach up to rub her forehead where the heat had collected in a nice bump. But she felt something hard and rough bite into her skin. She quickly opened her eyes and saw the ropes binding her to the chair she sat in. Great. Just great. And the panic started. “Dean..Dean” Her voice became a bit more like a bark in hopes to wake him up if he had been knocked out too, or if he was even there. She frantically looked around, fighting the dizziness from the quick flicks of her eyes. “Dean--” She called out again before noticing him in front of her, her eyes slowly focusing on him. “Hey. Wake up.”
