All four of these pieces were made from an old computer desk. You know... the cheap MDF ones with black laminate.
'Blue Bill' ~ Reminded me of 'Mr Bill' from the old Saturday Night Live episodes. Carved and pigmented.
'Recircled' ~ I just used a carving but to cut through the black laminate and colored with pigments. A sort of double panel panel.
'Seg-man-ted' ~ Same desk... just cut out the shapes to crudely emulate a face. Held together with metal rods connecting each segment. Dyes and gold paint.
'Blast' ~ This panel was first shot several times with a 12 gauge shotgun. Then the blasted areas were carved around. I dropped some dye on each of the buckshot and textured the rest of the panel.

A PERFECT score in this game like the minimum you could possibly get though is 15 seconds so#16.9s is VERY close.. ! image 4: some of the eyes I've carved so far out of avocado pits! one of them I even embedded a gem into for#the pupil type part of the eye. I think this is my favorite thing to make so far in my experiments with avocado. I was thinking of making a#whole necklace of eyes or something.#image 5: NASTURTIUMS... MY children.. favorite flowere...#image 6&7 : some little flowers I found in someone's yard. I Just Think They're Neat#image 8: I don't even remember why I took a picture of this it's just at tiny turkey and cheese pinwheel type rolled sandwich thing#maybe because the plate is tiny?? not very notable but. #alhaitham#genshin impact#genshin#fanart#myart#doodle#backstory: alhaitham apparently collects strange wood carvings and i like to think it's bc he genuinely believes they're pretty#kvh knows this and wants to give him smth like that as a bday gift. so he tries to carve an aranara bc it resembles him (the sprout)#but it turns out rough around the edges (literally) bc he's not experienced with woodcarving as opposed to working w/ modeling materials#he is embarrassed about the form but at the very least he can make sure the paint job is nice#and he puts it on alhaitham's desk so he will see it when he wakes up on his birthday#didn't draw it but i imagine kvh had little scratches on his fingers as a result of the woodcarving#and alhaitham noticed in the week leading up to his birthday but kvh would make an excuse like being careless w/ his tools#alhaitham wouldn't realize until afterwards that his gift was the reason for the state of kvh's hands#and little does kvh know alhaitham appreciates the gift regardless of its supposed aesthetic quality bc he knows effort went into it#went from calling him a v.ocaloid to actually liking him to drawing him bday art#how the turns table
