I was playing Toontown yesterday and someone in the Cartoonival grounds was constantly saying insults at this one dog (we reported him and I contacted a mod via Discord about a swear workaround he was using so that could be blocked)

This was one of the things he said and it should NOT be as funny to me as it is

is it bad that I find this funny.

Storm Clan will be hosting a beanfest on Sunday, 9/25

Hello everyone! We at Storm Clan wanted to announce that we will be hosting a beanfest event on Toontown Rewritten!

Storm Clan will be meeting up on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 9:00 PM EDT/6 PM PDT(Toontown Time) at Zapwood, Cartoonival Grounds to throw tons of jellybean unites until there are no more left to be thrown! We encourage you to bring your Storm Clan Toons (if you have one) as well as your main Toons or any others that you want to get in on the fest! If you want to participate and throw some unites as well, you're always welcome too! Everyone is welcome at this event, even non-members!

After the unites have all been used, Clan members will be hanging out at the Cartoonival Grounds to get in on the festivities and gain a bunch of tokens for however long members would like to stay.

small but funny things that happened to me within an hour of being on ttr today:

- while fishing i got 2 old boots in a row, and right after the 2nd one i caught 150 jellybeans, as if the game was taunting me

- while trying to get a token bag on the rock in the cartoonival pond i jumped over a hole in the ground immediately as a dummy cog popped out of it, startling me

Scrapped assets for the 'Quiz Stage', an event intended for Toonfest (now known as Cartoonival) that were included in the phase files in 2016.

Scrapped assets for the 'Cog Crusher Course', an event intended for Toonfest (now known as Cartoonival) that were included in the phase files in 2015.

The project was ultimately scrapped in favour of Field Offices and all references to it were removed from the phase files in 2016.

A number of additional untextured rooms have been included below the cut.

Howdy! I thought I’d make this so I can dump things that don’t fit in the description. I’m really just writing things down that have been floating in my head, so I’ll definitely be making small changes to this over time.

What is this?

Concept Rewritten is a blog for showcasing and archiving Toontown Rewritten development content, or other similar tidbits. You can expect to see early models, art, or textual information. Posts are scheduled to release every second day, for now, in order to not burn through everything too fast! However, if you’re a developer, or you just have some interesting pre-release/unused content, you can make a submission!

When submitting, please keep in mind that, if your post contains content that has not been publicly shared in good faith by any member of the Toontown Rewritten team, you must have permission to submit it. We’re not a leak blog!

If you’re the owner of any of the content here, and would like to have it taken down, edited, or even just expanded upon, you can contact me here! If you offer proof of owning the content or having authority on it, and want it deleted, it’ll be done, no questions asked.

Tags

Tags for individual characters/events/areas will be tagged appropriately - e.g. #Cartoonival Grounds, #Cartoonival, #Riggy Marole.

As well as this, there are specific tags for categories and whatnot:

#sketches - Sketches from finished (or unfinished!) content.

#concept art - Early art used to convey the idea of the finalized version.

Submission Guidelines

Source your submission!

Unreleased content must be publicly released by the Toontown Rewritten team and/or confirmed to be scrapped.

Submissions that do not have a publicly-available source must have adequate permission to be posted.

F.A.Q.

Can you do [private server]?

Unfortunately, there are no plans to include other servers, as I’m currently not involved enough in the communities of any other servers to do them justice. However, if you think you can do it, you have my blessing to run it yourself! It would be great to see the creative process of more people in the community.
