Meet the Team: PERU
Now that squads have been announced, we can look more closely into the hotness of the individual teams. I mean, that’s what we’re here for, right? For each team, I’ll talk a bit about the squad, then highlight ten hotties (trying to be attentive to many types of hotness), doing my best to split them evenly amongst the field.
Today: PERU!
Tumblr media
Peru missed 2014, but they made it to the quarterfinals of the Copa America Centenario and now they’re BACK baby! Despite an opening loss to Denmark, they’re still very much in the game. Their star striker, Paolo Guerrero, is back in the team, and they have a lovely passing game when they get going. Plus, they have these lovely sashed kits.
Team Nickname: Los Incas Fan Chant: Perú! Perú! Perú! Perú!

Neymar bị ví như một gã hề
Tumblr media

#PasesyPesos #Rumores #ElCrack #MasSports https://www.instagram.com/p/B7diSErhq5q/?igshid=3jha25b12l5e

Captain Guerrero named in Peru squad after doping ban is lifted
Peru captain Paolo Guerrero has been named in the country’s 23-man World Cup squad after his doping ban was temporarily lifted.
A Swiss tribunal agreed on Thursday to lift a 14-month suspension,[1] imposed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas), while it considered the 34-year-old Flamengo striker’s appeal.
Midfielder Sergio Pena, 22, was the player cut to make way for Guerrero.
The Granada player said: “This is the most difficult moment of my career.”
Watford forward Andre Carrillo is the only Premier League player in the squad.

Peru face Denmark, France and Australia in their first World Cup since 1982.
The captains of their Group C rivals all wrote to world governing body Fifa asking them to lift Guerrero’s ban.
Guerrero tested positive for cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine in October.
The sample was taken after Peru’s World Cup qualifier against Argentina and Guerrero – who insisted the positive test was the result of drinking contaminated tea – was initially banned for 12 months by Fifa.
That suspension was then halved by Fifa’s appeal committee but the World Anti-Doping Agency appealed to Cas and, less than two weeks after his six-month ban ended in May, it was extended it to 14 months.
A Swiss tribunal has now ruled that the extension was “unjustified” and is “provisionally deprived of effect”, leaving Guerrero free to play in Russia.

Prediksi & Head to Head Argentina vs Peru, 6 Oktober 2017
Perkiraan Susunan Pemain Argentina (4-2-3-1): Romero; Casco, Otamendi, Mascherano, Mercado; Gago, Banega; Di Maria, Dybala, Messi; Icardi
Peru (4-2-3-1): Caceda; Trauco, Rodriguez, Santamaria, Corzo; Totura, Tapia; Flores, Cartagena, Polo; Guerrero
