Carlden Head Canons !!!

A/N: I HAVENT WRITTEN IS SO LONG IM SORRY CHAT

Carl gives Kayden his hat when it’s raining

Carl can NOT be having his precious bride (read I Do) getting wet

Not that neither of them have anything against rain, he just loves running his hands through her hair, and can’t do that when it’s wet

Besides, he loves seeing her in his hat, it suits her

On certain people’s death anniversaries (no spoilers chat), Carlden makes flower crowns in memories

They use different flowers for different people, and they made up their own meanings for each flower

Ever since Delilah and Lily had taught them to make them, every place they go, they make sure there’s some kind of flowers nearby, just in case

Kayden makes them better and neater, but Carls are pretty too.

Glenn catches Carlden kissing, which leads to Delilah giving them ‘The Talk ™ ‘

Carl and Kayden kiss behind one of the chicken pens at the farm after their ‘wedding’

Its only small pecks from Carl on Kayden’s cheeks and arms (gentleman, born and raised)

But it raised Glenn’s ‘Big Brother Spidey Senses ™ ‘and a little siren goes off in his brain; “Oh no. These little, basically babies, are going to multiply.”

He jumps around the corner, jump scaring both of the newly weds

Glenn picks Carl up and carries him over his shoulder, running to the RV

“So, uh, Carl. When two people love each other very much…”

But Glenn can’t bring himself to explain sex to the preteen

“Carl, stay here!” Glenn yells, slightly panicked, tosses Carl a pack of condoms and runs out of the RV

Carl’s only thoughts are: “Why are these candies empty???”

Minutes later, Delilah enters with Kayden

“So, when you like a girl, you’re gonna wanna…do things…together…”

Two sets of eyes stare up at her with confusion.

After a few minutes of Delilah saying things like “You’ll razzle each other’s dazzle” and “she’ll want to peel your banana.”

Carl and Kayden bot say “Oh, I understand now.”

They don’t

When Kayden gets nervous, Carl lets her draw on his arm

Kayden had a sketchbook, but she filled it up quickly (with drawings of Carl)

She still had her pen, which she clicked to ease her nerves sometimes

Until she decides to draw a flower on Carl’s wrist

He basically said, “Give me a whole fucking sleeve of your drawings.”

He keeps Sharpie’s in his pockets because 1) lets be for real, pens on skin sucks ASS 2) he wants to keep them as long as possible

Carl tries to catch a butterfly or Kayden as a symbol of their love

It did NOT go well

He had spent the WHOLE afternoon chasing pretty little butterflies, and when he finally found one, he took it back to Kayden

Turns out, she’s a bit scared of bugs

She started to freak out slightly

Carl, being the amazing husband he is, throws it, but the wind snatches it up and it’s blown into Lily’s mouth as she was yapping to Delilah

Carl apologizes profusely to Kayden, with Lily in the background choking on a butterfly and Delilah basically slapping her back to try and get it out

Carl Grimes X Kayden Walsh (not my oc)

TW: ima fluff you to death

A/n: wrote this in like 4 minutes

“Do you, Carl Grimes, take Kayden Walsh to be your beautiful wife?” Sophia asks in a formal tone of voice.

“I do.” Carl replies, with a stupidly wide grin.

“And Kayden Walsh, do you take Carl Grimes as your slightly above average husband?”

“I do.” Kayden says quietly, blushing like a maniac.

“You may now kiss the bride.” Sophia says, stifling a giggle.

Carl leans forward and pecks Kayden on the cheek, and she might as well have melted on the spot. Everyone else claps and cheers. Kayden looks down at the cheese ring on her left hand and gets impossibly redder. Delilah walks up to Carl.

“You better look after my little sister. Or else.” She says with a straight face.

Carl looks absolutely mortified and nods.

“Just kidding, but seriously, treat her right, dude.” Delilah ruffles his hair before walking back over to Glenn who seems to be in shock that two 11-year-olds got married before him.

“Welcome to the family, Kayden Grimes!” A voice comes from behind her.

She sees its just Lily, Carl’s big sister, “You scared me.”

“We’re basically sisters now, it comes in the contract.”

“Contract?!”

“Should’ve read the fine print.” Lily shrugs as she walks away.

“Fine print?! The ‘contract’ said ‘Marry me? Yes/No’!” Kayden shrieks.
