Gender roles have to go! I just seen this heart breaking Tik-Tok of a baby girl getting her ears pierced. She crying and in pain for what!?! There no fucking reason this little baby needs her ears pierced! They sure as hell didn't do to her brothers running around in video. She didn't need to be subjected to this expect for the fact she's a girl and gender roles some fucking where said female ears should be pierced. I had it happened to be when I was 5 y.o at the county fair no one asked me if I wanted my ears pierced. A few days later I got a nasty infection because of it causing me even more pain. All in what the so called name of feminine! Because I'm female I need my ear pierced to look like a girl wtf. I never like having my ears pierced neither, as soon as I was old enough to make the decision I never wore earrings again. I'm not against ear piercing but it shouldn't be done when especially girls are too young to have a say in it. It shouldn't be done for gender role reasons.

Good example my niece when her youngest daughter was I believe 12 y.o wanted her ears pierced for her birthday. My great-niece asked to have her ears pierced, was old enough to understand what she was asking for and had the want for the piercing. It wasn't forced upon her. And if she had never wanted her ears pierced they wouldn't of been.

To me gender roles are some of the most damaging things so deeply woven into our society, they need to be dismantled.

This father isn't being caring! If he was he wouldn't of allowed this to of happen in the first place!
