Hi friend hope the hanzo mk 11 with Baby Bi-Han Mk 1 isn't too much hassle as a fic I know it can be hard sometimes even with the requests just letting you know I don't mind how long it takes just hope you're doing well and it isn't causing you any unnecessary stress or worry 😊

CG Hanzo MK11 w/ Regressor Bi-Han MK1 (Fic)

"If you keep glaring at it, it might eventually freeze over," Hanzo said as he added some honey into a bottle of milk.

Bi-Han huffed, moving his glare from the bottle, to Hanzo, then back to the bottle.

He didn't need Hanzo's silly commentary. Just like how he didn't need some silly baby bottle!!

"Hate it!" Bi-Han spat. "We get rid of it!"

"Have you ever dranked from a bottle before, Bi?" Hanzo asked, receiving another huff. "If you truly hate it, we have a sippy cup instead."

Bi-Han didn't like that choice either.

He found . . . friendship with Hanzo and Kuai Liang, as did his brothers. It was an . . . interesting friendship, at first.

Timeline merging was something Hanzo had gotten used to, especially with the events that happened here. Although Liu Kang- Uh, "Lord" Liu Kang's new universe was . . . interesting.

Not bad just . . . a different take on their lives.

Although Hanzo, surprisingly to some, enjoyed this universes Bi-Han.

He was still Kuai Liang's brother, but in another universe, one where he wasn't fully corrupted by Quan Chi. 

One where he could be saved.

Even Kuai Liang enjoyed his company. And it was almost awkward that he wasn't with them. But he was hanging out with the Scorpion Kuai Liang and short haired Tomas.

Hanzo and kuai Liang enjoyed watching regressors, and after finding Bi-Han regressing, and the entire incident (meltdown) that followed, they had started taking a small CG role for him. Even encouraging little playdates when one of them were small.

Bi-Han wasn't too keen at the friendship at first . . . But he wouldn't deny that they provided somewhat of a safe haven for being tiny.

"Don't need that either," Bi-Han frowned. "Cup."

Hanzo shook his head, "Your too little for big kid cups-"

"No!" Bi-Han stomped his foot. hanzo put a hand in the air, indicating Bi-Han to take a deep breath, which he did. ". . . Not a baby, Papa."

Ah, that's what it was.

Even if Bi-Han did regress smaller than others, he had a habit of indicating that he wasn't 'some baby'. Always trying to do big kid things.

But even with straws, Bi-Han had a habit of knocking over his cups. Or dropping them by accident. It wouldn't matter if it was just water. But the angry shouting and throwing Bi-Han had after was something Hanzo didn't want to encourage.

Bi-Han hated regression items.

Or, he feared them, to an extent.

Most of his items were kept here, in another universe, where his LIn Kuei couldn't find.

What would they say if they found their Grandmaster's paci? Or a teddy bear on his bed? He'd be reducuiled, he know he would.

Still, Hanzo and Kuai Liang decided that a baby bottle and a sippy cup wouldn't hurt him. And they would just store it at the Shirai Ryu temple, there was no reason to be all fussy about it.

"Of course you aren't. you just need a cup with safer cup, one that won't spill as easily."

Bi-Han wanted to call bogus. There were so many big kid cups like that!! He didn't need some baby bottle or sippy cup- He just needed a big kid cup! Why couldn't Hanzo see that?! 

He was be silly, and not in the good way.

Hanzo noticed Bi-Han's grumpy scowl, ruffling his hair, "You'll be okay. Just try it out and if you'd like, I can change it."

Bi-Han wanted to press more, but knew it really wouldn't get anywhere.

Well, it could if he reeeeally wanted it . . . But he also couldn't completely deny that he did want to use one. It was just embarrassing, using some bottle.

"Fine," Bi-Han grumbled.

"There's blocks in the living room corner if you'd like to bring them out," Hanzo suggested, screwing the bottle cap on.

This sparked Bi-Han's interest. Blocks? he liked blocks! He didn't have them back at his place, but hanzo was more than willing to share his toys.

Bi-Han practically rushed out of the room, causing Hanzo to hold back a chuckle. Any sort of laughing would cause a tempter tantrum.

Hanzo shook the bottle before walking back into the living room, setting it on the low table. Bi-Han, who was in the middle of building his castle, paused his actions, glaring at the cup as if it were to attack him.

"The more it sits, the more it'll spoil," Hanzo warned him, sitting on the couch.

"Nap?" Bi-Han glared at Hanzo. 

Warm honey milk always made Bi-Han sleepy. Was Hanzo trying to make him take a nap? He wasn't some baby, only babies took naps!

"No, you asked for it?" Hanzo raised an eyebrow, receiving a huff.

Okay, maybe he had, but he wasn't going to admit it.

Bi-Han seemed hesiant. He tried to drink some, but quickly set the bottle down. It was too - Too embarrassing!! He couldn't drink out of it! Especially while Hanzo was right there, just watching!

Hanzo tried not to watch, amused by Bi-Han's actions. But he didn't want the milk to go bad. And Bi-Han was clearly thirsty, he couldn't have the little one go thirsty.

". . . Come here," Hanzo patted his lap. Bi-Han looked confused. "Lay your head on my lap."

Bi-Han hesitated, looking between his blocks and Hanzo. Eventually, he slowly got up, waddling with his bottle in hand.

He sat beside Hanzo, laying his head on his lap. Hanzo gently stroked Bi-Han's hair, holding the bottle to his mouth, which Bi-Han hesitantly accepted.

Bi-Han felt himself grow tired, sluggish. Warm honey milk always made him sleepy. But laying down, having his hair tussled defienty made him sleepy. He was only halfway through before Hanzo took it away, making Bi-Han whine.

"I think it's time for a nap," Hanzo said, putting the bottle on the table. Bi-Han tried to protest, but he just got shushed instead. "Shh, there's no need to fuss, I can see your eyes dropping."

"Ba!" Bi-Han angrily mumbled, making grabby hands for the bottle. "Papa, ba!"

Hanzo shifted Bi-Han to his hip as he stood. He grabbed the bottle, which Bi-Han quickly snatched and tightly held as Hanzo carried him to Hanzo's room.

He tried, tried, to lay Bi-Han down. But instead Bi-Han fussed and whined, clinging onto Hanzo.

"Nooo!" Bi-Han whined, pointing to the bottle that Hanzo set on the nightstand. "That!"

"Here you go," Hanzo tried to hand it to him, but received a headshake. "What do you want then?"

Bi-Han glared at Hanzo, as if he expected Hanzo to know what he wanted.

"Can we use our big boy words?" Hanzo asked.

Bi-Han pointed to the bottle again, "More Papa. . ."

"You want to lay on my lap again?"

Bi-Han thought about it, before nodding.

But when hanzo sat down, Bi-Han didn't lay his head on his lap. Insead, he sat on it. He clung to Hanzo's chest, trying to make sure that Hanzo wouldn't kick him off. Which Hanzo made no more to do.

Ah, he wanted to be cradled.

Bi-Han looked proud, happy in the fact that he had 'tricked' Hanzo to get what he wanted.

"You want me to bottle feed you?" Hanzo double check, earning a grumble. "I need words, Snowflake."

Bi-Han grumbled at the nickname, mumbling out a small, "Yes."

"Thank you," Hanzo smiled, grabbing the bottle.

It wasn't long before Bi-Han passed out. He felt . . . safe in Hanzo's arms. And with the bottle making his tummy feel all warm and happy, he felt all sluggish and tired again. 

Hanzo gently tucked him in, kissing Bi-Han's forehead. He heard the door click behind him, Kuai Liang walking into the room.

"Hanzo-"

"Shhh, he fell asleep," Hanzo shushed him. Kuai Liang nodded, walking over. Bi-Han's eyebrows furrow, curling more into himself. "Get out of here, you'll wake him."

"As if he can stand your heat," Kuai Liang rolled his eyes before noticing the bottle. "Did he take kindly to it?"

". . . Only a bit of screaming," Hanzo admitted. "But he seemed content after being fed."

Kuai Liang nodded, noticing hanzo's phrasing but not pressing further. Perhaps he would bug him about it when he wasn't in the room with the sleeping baby.

He just hoped Bi-Han wouldn't get upset for 'letting him do silly things' while regressed, again.

Or straight up ignore them . . . again.

Hope I wrote Bi-Han right. I like his character, but he's hard to get accurate sometimes. 😭

Mercy as a Caregiver

*Mercy has the biggest soft spot for littles

*I can see her doing well with all regressors but her favorite is baby regressors

*Has a crib for you in her office so she can keep an eye on you while she's working.

*Its a rule that you always hold her hand so you don't get lost in the overwatch compound

*Last time you let go of her hand you got lost and started screaming "Mama" while balling loudly. Genji was quick to help and informed Mercy you got lost

*Very quick to find out what's bothering you.

*Gets you your own little staff. Nothing to powerful just enough to heal things like scratches.

*Hanzo got cuts while sparring whith Genji and here comes you toddling in the training roll in your footie pajamas healing the small cuts with your staff. Genji chuckled and gestured to Hanzo. "Thank you child.."

*Loves to play doctor with you and be your patient

*Even the other members join in. Tracer is the best actress out of all of them tho.

*Genji is your number 1 baby-sitter

*Sometimes Mercy has to go on missions or tend to patients and can't look after you so Genji has to step in.

*If you're a very clingy baby then there's a good chance their will be some tantrums that Genji has to deal with. He doesn't get mad though. He understands you just want Mercy.

*Waits for you to cry it out and then shushes you gently and puts on a cartoon for you two to watch.

*Expert at diaper changes. She comforts you the whole time and is very fast with getting you clean

*Loves bottle feeding you. The way you look into her eyes with so much love always makes her melt.

*You go around putting bandaid on people after missions if they have a scratch.

*(Hanzo wants to take them off but doesn't becasue he sees how happy it makes you)

*Has a behavior chart for you. You rarely ever get in trouble though becasue you're just a baby. You're hardly ever bad intentionally

*Loves holding you but can't do it on her own so Winton creates a device that makes people/things lighter.

*Now she always wants to hold you and that's perfectly fine because you wanna be held too

*You love how she always smells like vanilla and her skin is so soft.

*Is very picky about who changes and babysits you.

*Genji, Sojourn, and Mei are allowed to babysit and change you.

*Kiriko, Tracer, and Pharah are allowed to babysit.

*Trys everything in her power to keep you hidden from Talon but you know there's a certain hacker that knows just about everything.

*For that reason you're never allowed outside on your own without at least 2 people by your side.

*Definitely a protective mama

*Hums lullabys to help you sleep. Her voice is so angelic

Cg kuai and Regressor Hanzo 🧸❄️

• Kuai Liang is a bit more "strict" in a sense

• ^ Definitely melts at puppy eyes though 🤭

• Hanzo regresses more around toddler age so about 3-5

• Hanzo is into more calmer activities, not much of a talker either

• Kuai will usually play with Hanzo's hair while he's colouring or something (more for himself but Hanzo doesn't seem to mind :])

• Hanzo is a biter!! He doesn't mean to he just has a lot of feelings :[

• Kuai understands but biting is a no no

• Hanzo is not a big fan of cartoons or really TV in general especially not when regressed

• Hanzo is also a reaaaaally picky eater when regressed

• Kuai tries to adjust to Hanzo's pickiness but still tries to get him to eat other stuff

• Kuai bought Hanzo some of those fruit smelling markers

• ^Hanzo is absolutely in love with them, keeps him entertained for hours

• Kuai doesn't have much of a routine when it comes to Hanzo kinda just takes things as they come

• Hanzo's not really a rule breaker- if he's especially small more often than not it's an accident

• Hanzo gets moody over just about anything- Doesn't like how his picture turns out? He'll throw a fit. Doesn't want to go to bed yet? He'll throw a fit.

• ^They aren't bad, a lot of stomping and pointing though

• Kuai will sing to Hanzo when he starts to get upset and usually he'll giggle and calm down but it doesn't always work

I'm so sorry I didn't post this as quickly as possible i currently have a bunch of finals lol ٩(๑꒦ິȏ꒦ິ๑)۶

FIRST UP HANZOOOO!!!1!

You do have to explain to him how your coping mechanisms work, he asks a few questions then and there, and listening very well, even if he stays quiet for a bit.

After a few questions he seems to understand really well, like once you explain it to him once he's already got it!

As someone with a lot a trauma he understands your struggle (╥﹏╥)

He really wants to help you, like he doesnt want your mental health no where near his, so when he found out you don't really have a caregiver he practically just assigned himself to the job lol

What I mean by this is that he happened to be around when you were age regressing, and literally just went with it as a caregiver.

As time went on you both accepted you roles, with the occasional question just to make sure no ones uncomfortable :3

First time he wasn't perfect, obvi!

He just made sure he was in the room with you, making sure you were happy while in little space.

You definitely tried to interact with him a few times, but since he didn't really know what to do he would give you quick responses and a pat on the head, while he read himself a book, he was scared of doing something wrong, but he simply made sure he was near you <3

After a while he gets a lot more comfortable with being your caregiver, so don't worry!

Definitely gives you two blue dragon plushies?!?! You take them everywhere in case you need comfort and it just melts his heart like???

He loves babying you so much.

In a way, this has also become a coping mechanism for him, caring for someone when before he did the opposite </3

Both of you need each other at the end of the day, romantic, platonically, or whatever! You both heal a little by each day. ♡

I decided to cut this in two parts, since Ram has a lot of past trauma with humans, so one part is specifically for an omnic reader. (But some human reader headcanons do apply to the omnic ones!)

Omnic specific

You two have known each other since the omnic crisis, but you two were never that close.

The whole crisis did bring everyone together though, there were times where groups of Omnics would simply relax, cuddle (at least imitating the act if cuddling) and repair each other, it became a way of bonding, in a way.

After the omnic crisis however, you, Ramattra, Zenyatta, and a few other omnics became a lot more closer.

After one day of just hanging out with Zenyatta and Ramattra, you confess about your coping mechanism.

Zenyatta feels so enlightened now that you found a way to cope and to heal from your suffering.

Ramattra however, feels a little sad, he is happy to see you healing, but he can't help but feel you wouldn't have to heal if you weren't broken up into pieces during the omnic crisis o(ㄒoㄒ)

You were never really a child, but age regressing helps you feel safer, took you to an Imaginary place and time with no omnic crisis, no trauma, no baggage..

Ramattra didn't know you currently didn't have a caretaker, but didn't investigate on that part.

(Kinda like hanzo) he legit just started to take care of you during little space!

He's a lot more physically affectionate, hugging you and cradling you around.

Human version!

(Again some of these can apply to omnic readers, that's why I just wrote more of a backstory back there!)

You and Ram both met by Zenyatta, you were one of his students.

Ramattra obviously didn't like you at first, just like Genji he very much did not trust you at all!

He learned about your age regressing through Zenyatta (with permission ofc!)

He's still skeptical around you, but no longer sees you as a physical threat (never really saw you as one anyways) but he's a lot less rude and suspicious around you.

The more Ram learned about you the more pity he felt for your experiences.

He accidentally walked in on you in your little space (whether it was uncontrollably age regressing or planned) he was a little taken aback, because he didn't exactly plan on what he'd do if he was with you during your little space.

You were like a nervous child, hiding and peeking out of your hiding place when you saw him, you knew your relationship wasn't the best exactly. :;(∩´﹏`∩);:

He saw this as you being vulnerable, which you were to him; he didn't want to do anything that would change your perspective of him negatively or change your relationship negatively, he was just starting to like you too! Ó╭╮Ò

After a but of silence, you thought he was just gonna walk away. But he just sat down, cross legged.

Once he sat down you crawled out of your hiding space, still a little nervous.

Surprisingly he started the conversation, asking why you are alone, especially in little space, you sat cross legged too in front of him, and quietly explained you don't have anyone to really take care of you, but you still manage.

After a few seconds of processing, he finally speaks up, "Then...I shall..supervise you until then." He said, a little hesitation in his voice, he didn't want to sign up to something he wasn't experienced in, but he also didnt want you alone vulnerable, his mind would spiral into all the different (and some not-so-logical) ways you could get hurt during little space, if it weren't for you lighting up hearing his proposal. He found that kinda wholesome and cute in a way, not that he would voice it out loud though.

Even though he didn't exactly say he was your caretaker, in a way it was since you never really got a replacement for him, not that you needed to though <3

He's a bit more on the quiet side on the few first days, when ever you would accidentally touch him he couldn't help but flinch, he'd apologize under his own imitation of a breath, but he definitely wasn't at fault, he's a very traumatized omnic ಥ_ಥ

Slowly but surely he does get comfortable with you, he won't flinch with you touch him and he's more talkative towards to in a more natural way.

He'll never tell you this but he finds taking care of a someone smaller and vulnerable makes him feel at peace somehow, like it makes him feel better for all those omnics he couldnt help..

You'd have to ask him to carry you and cuddle first, otherwise he won't initiate anything, at this point he's no longer scared or suspicious of you, he's just scared to accidentally hurt you in a way where he won't be allowed to take care of you anymore :(

He's a little stiff and awkward when cuddling or cradling you, you would have to reassure him a few times you'd be okay!

He needs LOTS of communication or body language to understand what makes you most comfortable and safe.

On his free time he'd definitely carve and paint some wooden toys for you, but if someone walks in on him he'd simply say it's a carving of something else, if it's you however he won't bother hiding it (unless it's a surprise, but poor guy he's so obvious when hiding something you already know when he's doing it)

He loves to examine your face, either just cupping it and staring at you, or gently pinching your cheeks, tracing your eyebrows and booping your nose!

He's very attentive, if something is slightly off with your body language or your tone, he will definitely ask if there's something wrong or worse, if there's a human making you feel negatively.

Don't get me wrong he really likes you at this point, but that doesn't mean he likes other humans! (•ˋ _ ˊ•)

Not used to name calling, maybe just call him Ram, Rammy or any other nickname instead of parental nicknames :3

In a way, healing yourself also heals Ramattra in a way, so it's a win-win situation.

He is still very much traumatized, and he definitely feels uncomfortable when he's in a vulnerable situation with you, it's nothing against you, things like that just take a lottttt of time (〃∀〃)ゞ

Also lots of star gazing or meditating in the woods (he'd be meditating and you'd probably be in his lap playing with your wooden toys)

Sometimes small animals come to examine what you two are doing, they either get scared by your sudden movement or get scared, Ramattra doesn't mind either way, as long as you aren't getting into any trouble like getting into poison ivy lol. ˙˚ʚ(´◡`)ɞ˚˙

In the end of the day, you two are good friends, after a bit of time you will most likely get closer, into what you two become is up to you :3

Something quick and short.

Sick Day

Kuai Liang was staring.

Staring, with a hard steely gaze that Hanzo could only confess to himself that he had missed. And that gaze… those eyes… they were all on him.

His eyes were a rare, solid brown, clear in their inspection but clouded in their intention. Their bond was too new and his scent gland too damaged for Kuai Liang to explore his new home alone. He was at Hanzo’s side, on Hanzo’s schedule, under Hanzo’s direction. He didn’t know how to not be alone and was clearly uncomfortable, though he hid it as well as he could.

This, this staring, he did not even attempt to hide. He was always trying to test the boundaries of how far he could stray from Hanzo’s side before his body punished him but recently, he acted as a barrier, using the intensity of his stabilizing pheromones to keep others at a distance from them.

Jealousy? Kuai Liang wasn’t the jealous type. Hanzo understood his need for space, just as he understood his occasional need for comfort and validation. He was sensitive to the pheromones of others and was able to decipher their intentions before Hanzo.

He was a strange man, but he was the person that Hanzo loved. Learning to live with his idiosyncrasies was a challenge worth taking.

He awoke one morning, exhausted, but bound by his duty to his clan, he attempted to rise.

An arm shot out and pulled him back down, sliding a palm over his warm stomach.

“No,” came the deep rumble.

From this hold, it was impossible to turn around to see Kuai Liang’s face. Was he feeling cold?

“My treasure…” The pain in his own throat surprised Hanzo, as did the rasp of his voice. Still, he continued, “My treasure, we must be up.”

In less than a second, a hand was closing over his throat. The refreshing cool that soothed his skin was difficult to discourage.

“You will rest today, before you become any more ill.”

“I am not ill,” Hanzo argued. It amused him that Kuai Liang, of all people, was the first to notice. Amusing, but not surprising. Omegas were caregivers and it was only natural that his Omega would recognize that his Alpha was tired.

It had been so long, too long, since he felt the concern of a partner.

He hadn’t even realized that at some point in the night, Kuai Liang rolled them over and spooned him.

“If you can escape my grasp, I will allow you to leave,” Kuai Liang promised.

Hanzo could. With ease. The period after a long slumber was when Kuai Liang was most careless. But his cool hands felt good. And the weight of his body on Hanzo’s back was soothing.

Kuai Liang was not Harumi. He didn’t smile as easily as she did. The walls he had built around himself were thicker, stronger, but far more damaged.

Hanzo closed his eyes and gave into exhaustion. The past, he would hold onto forever. His present, his future… there was life again.

Johnny Cage

Johnny wants to make your life easy, but he’s also adorably nervous about coming in strong or accidentally being patronizing, so when it comes to the things he can do to help (like cleaning up his space of junk) he always ends the suggestion with “if you want.” If you tell him what you need from him Mr. Cage is fantastic at providing it, and is actually relieved when he can be helpful to you. He never views himself as your caregiver though, he’s your man and being supportive of your needs is what he feels like that means.

Kenshi

You fit right into Kenshi’s world. His home is designed to be easy to navigate and he’s made his world full of things inviting to be touched or heard. For the sighted it might be hard to appreciate this unique brand of decor, but it will absolutely make perfect sense to you. He gets what you deal with because he’s on the same page and the connection you two have can be especially deep.

Hanzo

Quickly finds the balance between being helpful and supporting your independence, with him you’re never dealing with anything alone but he’ll always trust what you say you can handle. Even when he knows your struggling, he won’t cross a boundary you’ve set in place. Communication is key with Hanzo, and it’s the one thing he’ll push you on if you struggle to explain what you do and do not need from him. He’s a stern man, so it can be a little intimidating to admit to things that make you insecure, but he always responds to those things in a loving way.

Cassie Cage

Cassie takes it as a challenge, but not in that it’s a challenge to deal with you. In that it’s a challenge to find the best date ideas for someone that experiences the world differently than her, and man can she be creative. She’ll find every unique thing there is to make sure you can enjoy the activities as much as you enjoy her company. Cassie is a fun person, and you never have to worry about your needs slowing her down, she’s always ready to adapt and find a new, better path forward.

Kabal

Kabal might be a struggle for you at first, he’s not much of a housekeeper and his world is a chaotic mess. So feeling comfortable navigating even his home might not be possible at first. You just might be the one thing that teaches him to be better about it though, as he doesn’t want you to feel like you can’t just exist in his space without being comfortable. He at least learns to keep his mess to piles in the same space so you can avoid them. When it comes to your time out, he’ll have to also learn not to slow down for you because his natural inclination is to be a caregiver. If you don’t want that, you’ll need to be firm and set up a boundary about it, he’ll respect it but it’s a struggle not to pamper and spoil you. It’s not because he thinks your less or that you need him, it’s something he does for fully abled partners as well.

🦂 Hanzo was cacious, especially at first, but he actually does enjoy the friendship he's made with them

⛄️ Frost very much loves her baby, but puts up a good fight for Hanzo some times (she's a big girl!! She doesn't need a babysitter, and neither does Kuai!)

🦂 Bi-Han likes cuddling with Kuai, but Is also a bit too aggressive in play wrestling (one of the brothers favorite activities together)

⛄️ Kuai Liang is Hanzo's main priority when he's small (he's his main priority In general, but knows he needs him now when he's tiny)

- He was happily delighted when they started becoming comfortable with him and he got to see their bubbly personality

- Lao makes sure they’re comfortable in public settings and checking in with them

- When they saved his life, he was eternally grateful and is constantly thanking them for everything they’ve done and do as they care for him

Sub-Zero:

- What first attracted him to them was seeing them training to maintain their skill, then it was their shyness that hit him in the heart

- As they warm up to him, Kuai Liang is delighted to see more and more of their personality and savoring each moment of laughter they share

- He is relieved they’re okay, he’d feel guilty if they got hurt saving him and is fussy as they take care of him, he’s not use to not doing much, let alone being cared for

- He’s got a weak spot in him for shy partners, the way they hold his arm in public and stay close to him, it just makes him want to protect them

- Like most shy people, he expected a different personality in private, and is delighted he gets to know both personalities

- Is a little flustered he needed saving and grumpy for a bit, but eventually thanks them and apologizes for his moodiness as they change his bandages

Erron Black:

- There’s just something about a shy cutie that gets good ol’ Erron Black interested in them, and once he’s got them he wants to protect his partner

- Erron loves their bubbly personality, he could sit for hours marveling at how shy they are in a public setting, but alone with him he gets to see their goofiness

- At first he’s a bit sour about them risking their neck to save him, but then he’s nonstop flirting because they feeding him, changing his bandages, keeping him warm, and being altogether good caregiver

Kabal:

- Seeing them across the room hiding in a corner not talking to anyone looking all cute, flips a switch in Kabal’s head that says “must pursue” (even more so after he’s burned, his logic is they’re less likely to drag him out and embarrass him in public)

- Loves learning more about them and makes mental notes every time he gets new information, and being alone with them is fun, he’d much rather it just be the two of them anyways

- Is so proud of them for holding their own and saving him from deadly circumstances, and promises to repay them for all the love and care they’re giving him as he recovers

Hanzo picks up cooking because of Harumi; she was a good cook and Hanzo always found watching her cook therapeutic after a hard long day of work. Now that he doesn’t get to experience that in the evening, cooking in itself becomes his own meditational act; Hanzo is impatient, certainly more so than Kuai Liang, who always opts in favor of meditation. Hanzo also likes being able to provide for others and so his therapeutic act becomes the act of benevolence and caregiving. He would work tirelessly and to the bone to make those he loves happy and safe, to shape the Shirai Ryu as he’d imagined it years ago. Even as a General, he gave his all, not only providing the villagers’ protection, but becoming such magnanimous paternal figure to all the young ones, and befriending them in his imposing, yet quiet and approachable presence. 

Hanzo provides and offers joy in any way he can, despite still struggling with his PTSD and depression. He acknowledges and respects anyone who has earned his devotion, love and trust and he has always been generous, without wish for repayment, but only the privilege of loving him in return with absolute love and trust.

Genji neither trusted or liked both Angela and Moira though it wasn’t so much a personal issue towards them. With his body being rebuilt out of metal and synthetic mesh, it was the resentment of what happened and needed to be done that made him weary of medical personnel in general. He would rather care for himself but, at the time, could not. 

As I mentioned in the general hc about his Blackwatch days, he regularly fled from the medical wing and would avoid his appointments. The more of his flesh was replaced, the less Human he felt no matter how hard his caregivers tried to convince him otherwise. Although they were saving his life and giving him a second chance, he couldn’t help but feel as though he was being transformed into a monster.

Eventually he did come to at least tolerate both Angela and Moira and somewhat trust them, but the displeasure was still there. Post-crisis he would continue to be avoidant of medical care by others unless it was absolutely necessary. If ordered to attend an appointment or accept the help being offered to him, he would do so only if the commands were given by someone he trusts with his life.

An example is Commander Reyes, Jesse McCree, and Zenyatta. (Perhaps even Hanzo someday.)
