As a child, Lacie did not know the difference between good and bad, right or wrong and what were proper and not proper things to say to other people. She disapproved of social cues and ignored most of social rules because it did not fit with her rebellious nature and others should not dare to think she’d attempt fitting it in her type of life style. It’s not about her changing her behavior, it’s how others have to learn to deal with it.

"DAD!"
Bruce sighed at the familiar call, instantly recognizing the voice. It was you, the child he never intended to have, thrust into his life by forces beyond his control. He still wasn't ready for this—wasn't ready to be a father.
In the early days, you’d tried calling him "father" or "dad," hoping for a connection. But he’d ignore you every time, barely acknowledging the title. Frustrated, you’d started calling him "Mr. Wayne" out of spite. And to your surprise, he responded. Since then, you'd settled into calling him as if he were just another public figure, like some distant acquaintance. You learned quickly that Bruce Wayne didn't want to be publicly labeled as your father, that he wasn’t comfortable with the label at all.
But now, hearing that word—"Dad"—from you in public, his irritation rose. He’d told you ages ago not to call him that outside the manor. Yet, there was also a sliver of satisfaction; he finally had a reason to confront you over it, something he’d oddly wanted since you’d moved in.
Turning around to find you, Bruce stopped short. There you were, arms around Harvey Dent, laughing in a way that sent a pang through him. It was the kind of bright, easy laughter he’d never heard from you in his presence. The warmth in your eyes, the carefree lightness in your smile—it all seemed reserved for Dent, a scene that felt oddly father-child-like.
His grip tightened unconsciously, fingers curling around the grass he’d been holding. Harvey looked back at you with an almost fatherly pride, and it stung in a way Bruce couldn’t have anticipated. In that moment, the crowd faded around him, and all he could focus on was the two of you, bonded in a way he hadn’t managed to be with you.
Your laughter rang in his ears like a melody he’d never noticed before, something beautiful and elusive. And for the first time, Bruce felt something new—a desire to be the one to make you laugh like that, a yearning to hear it directed at him. He wanted all of it for himself.
Bruce’s hands clenched involuntarily, his fingers digging into his palms. He told himself that he was better than Dent in every way that mattered—stronger, more capable, more disciplined. But in this, seeing how effortlessly Dent could make you feel safe and valued, he felt an unsettling flicker of doubt. Bruce could face any enemy, any challenge, but standing here, watching someone else make you feel what he couldn’t, he felt almost... inadequate.
The feeling was absurd. Jealousy wasn’t supposed to affect him; he’d trained himself to be above such things. But he couldn’t stop the bitterness gnawing at him as he watched Dent with you, a man whose easy warmth contrasted so painfully with Bruce’s own guarded nature. It stung to realize that, for all his power and reputation, he was losing you to his own friend. Dent looked at you with pride and affection, the kind that came naturally to him—and Bruce hated that Dent could offer you what he hadn’t even known you needed.
And then, through the murmur of the crowd, your voice rang out again—“Dad!”—directed at Dent, not him. Something twisted painfully in Bruce’s chest, his vision blurring as he watched you lean into Dent’s embrace, trusting and relaxed. The sight was a punch to his pride, yes, but more than that, it was a revelation of all he’d pushed away, all the moments he’d let slip by because he hadn’t wanted to be vulnerable.
For the first time, Bruce felt an unfamiliar desperation creep in, a fear he’d never faced even in the darkest moments of his life. Losing you to Dent seemed almost absurd, yet it was becoming a reality before his eyes. He was starting to see the damage his own indifference had caused, each unspoken word and dismissed gesture now cutting him deeper than he would ever admit aloud.
If only he’d turned around that first time you called him "Dada." If only he’d been there, shown you warmth instead of distance. Now someone else was in the place he’d abandoned, and he feared—truly feared—that you were already too far out of his reach to bring back.
(A/n: feel free to use this idea to make a story! Though you needa tag me too😼)

In a realm kissed by the dusky sunset, where the sands whispered secrets to the retreating waves, she walked - a silhouette of grace against the palette of the fading day. The ocean hummed its eternal ballad, a serenade to the twinkling stars soon to claim the sky, but it was her laughter, light and carefree, that danced upon the breeze.
She twirled, arms aloft, inviting the world to partake in her joy, to spin in the golden glow of the dwindling sun. Her eyes, alight with mischief, held stories untold; her smile, a curve wrought from the very essence of summer, seemed to pull at the corners of the universe itself. The wind, enamored, played gently with her hair, strings of ebony crafted into an artful dance above her head, adorned with a singular golden ornament - a memento of moments cherished, of whispers shared beneath a canopy of stars.
Her dress, a cascade of tropical blooms, clung to her form, a testament to the island's vibrant heart, its colors a mirror to the sunset's own splendor. With every step, the sands shifted, willing to bear the imprint of her presence, even if only for a fleeting breath of time.
She paused, a statuesque beacon against the canvas of nature's masterpiece, her gaze cast over a shoulder that bore the warmth of the sun's last ray. There was an invitation in her glance, an unspoken challenge to break free from the chains of the mundane, to dive into the depths of this ephemeral, glowing world. And for a moment, just a single, stretching heartbeat, those who beheld her felt the stirrings of adventure, the pull of the untamed, the desire to join her in embracing the wild call of the horizon.
As the sun dipped beneath the line that divided sea from sky, her form became part of the landscape, a memory etched in hues of amber and rose, a story waiting to be told.

clumsy!reader is still bad at yoga and yoga instructor!rafe wants to keep her all to himself...
18+ mdni!
c/w: rafe being touchy & blatantly flirting w her, him getting jealous, slightly suggestive, reader being oblivious
wc: 1.9k
idk if anyone missed him but he's back & better than ever !! (after a small vacation that ended up being almost 3 months :D)
some parts are more or less inspired by this, this, this & this ask
part 1
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Rafe is in the midst of helping someone fix their posture when he hears the gates of heaven opening in the form of a melodious giggle chiming from the back of the room. He lifts his head in order to detect the source of such a vibrant sound; noticing that his favorite client is currently directing her attention towards some guy next to her.
The joyful expression she’s sporting makes a scowl paint over his features. Why is this random man making her laugh like that?
“Yeah, you got it. Just keep workin’ on it though,” he quickly dismisses the person he was helping before stomping over to find her practically lying on the floor with the guy’s hands on her calf, along with his mat pulled far too close to hers for Rafe’s liking.
“I think you should bend it more here, right? I’m honestly not too sure,” the guy chuckles as he tries to figure out what she’s doing wrong.
“No cause I have no idea how everyone else makes it seem so easy. It’s so hard to get it right, I feel so stupid half the time,” she complains with a huff, not even noticing Rafe looming within earshot.
“Seriously, I thought this was a beginner’s class but it feels like some of these poses are meant for like literal pros,” he continues with a shake of his head.
“I know, right?” another peal of laughter bubbles from her throat as she shifts into a seated position, giving up altogether.
“Everything alright?” Rafe doesn’t mean for his tone to come out so clipped but there’s something in the way the guy’s touching her so freely that makes his hands curl into fists.
He keeps reminding himself over and over again that this is a client, which means that he can’t just smash his face in— no matter how severely his fingers are itching for it right about now.
“Oh, I was just trying to help her with this,” the guy explains in tandem with her head turning to look at Rafe. She seems startled.
“Well, why don’t you focus on your own form for a change? I mean, s’kinda my job to help her, yeah?” he scoffs, making the guy halt his movements in a state of surprise before he's lifting his hands up in apology.
“Damn, sorry dude,” he mutters out from under his breath while Rafe merely glares at him with the words stay professional bouncing around his skull.
A tense silence follows, making her grow quiet while she takes slow sips from her water bottle as a distraction; wondering why he seems so bothered to see her talking to someone else.
However, when he finally turns his attention towards her, she shrugs it off as him merely having a bad day because it seems like the only logical explanation to her. Because at the end of the day, him being jealous makes as much sense to her as her math homework in high school.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Rafe is convinced that the universe is purposefully trying to poke and prod at his limits, giving his carefully curated facade opportunities to crack— allowing for the borderline psychotic aspects of his personality to breathe through the crevices. Because only a week later, Rafe sees her entering the gym with another guy she seems to be awfully friendly with.
“That’s crazy, I don’t even wanna know what Kie said to that,” she rolls her eyes jokingly while he’s showing her something on his phone.
”Yeeeah, guess you could say she wasn’t the biggest fan,” he laughs in a carefree manner, raking a hand through his disheveled, sand-colored hair.
“For some reason I’m not surprised,” she mutters out before she notices Rafe standing in the hallway leading to the yoga class. “Oh, gotta go so I’m not late. See you after?”
“Yeah, I’ll be here. Think Pope said he’s gonna join me for leg day, so we’ll see if I’m still standing when you get back. But you have fun,” he offers her a wave before walking away towards the locker rooms.
And at last, her warm eyes meet Rafe’s. “Hi,” her voice is soft, nearly shy; a stark contrast to her demeanor only a few seconds ago.
“Hey,” he greets her in a casual manner, although his mind is somewhere else entirely. “So, that your boyfriend or?” he tries to approach the subject with nonchalance because it’s not necessarily any of his business.
He’s not even sure why he’s asking— keeps telling himself that he’s just curious and tries to appear friendly by making small talk. After all, some clients have given him feedback on his apparently intimidating aura, claiming they don’t always have the courage to ask for his help because they get anxious he’ll judge them. Therefore, it's something he’s been trying to work on.
“What? Oh, JJ? No, he’s just a friend. He goes to the gym here, so I usually just tag along with him. Free ride, right?” she answers with a lighthearted tone.
“Right. Yeah,” he scratches at the back of his neck, contemplating whether or not to ask the next question since he doesn’t want to overstep any boundaries. However, there’s something deep in his stomach that grumbles at the prospect of her being in a relationship, makes him feel nearly insane and ultimately, makes the decision for him.
“You, uh, you got one?”
“What?” she asks, features coated in confusion.
“A boyfriend, I mean,” his gaze is unwavering, eager.
“Oh, um— no, I don’t. Why?” her puzzled eyes flit over the lines of his countenance, seemingly trying to grasp onto his motives.
“Just, uh…wondering. I mean, he’d be kind of a dick if he’s not drivin’ you here himself,” he shrugs, a strange sort of relief making his shoulders feather-light when she lets out an airy giggle in response.
“Yeah, honestly sometimes wish I had one just so he could drive me around and stuff,” she jokes while they begin to pad over to the class.
“You don’t have your license yet?” he raises his brows in surprise.
“No, I do. I just don’t really like driving. I don’t know why but it’s so stressful to me. Usually try to avoid it as much as I can,” she elaborates while gathering her hair away from her face and securing the strands into a ponytail.
“Oh yeah? Well, if you ever need a ride home just let me know, alright?” he says, fighting the urge to tuck a loose tendril that has managed to escape the restraints of her hair tie back behind her ear.
“Really? That’s so sweet of you! But, um, wouldn’t wanna be a bother,” the hesitation is present in her voice.
“Nah, couldn’t bother me if you tried,” he promises, wishing they could talk for longer. However, the ocean of people flooding inside the room behind them cuts their conversation short.
“You’re just saying that,” she dismisses him with a playful scoff.
“M’being for real. You’re my favorite face around here. Plus, makes my job more fun when you’re always stumblin' on your feet,” he can’t help his mouth from twisting upwards at the way her eyes round out in response to his words.
“Shut up. I’m gonna go set down my mat now, before there’s only space right in front of you,” she offers him a giddy smile that makes him grin like an idiot. Then, she’s tiptoeing away from him in order to locate a vacant spot.
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
Rafe has become awfully familiar with these newfound feelings of fondness for the girl who’s by far the most helpless little bambi he’s ever encountered. He thinks she should honestly pick another hobby at this point, because maybe yoga just isn’t meant for her. However, he’d never say any of that out loud because even the thought of not seeing her getting all flustered while she loses her balance whenever he’s near makes him feel physically unwell.
He’s not entirely sure whether her apparently oblivious brain simply hasn’t caught onto the fact that he so clearly has a thing for her, or if she’s well aware and merely chooses to be a tease about it. Nonetheless, the moment she walked into the class today, he could feel his workout shorts tightening and all she’d offered him was a simple smile.
And now she’s right in front of him, all tangled limbs and pretty eyes blinking up at him— practically begging for his guidance and for him to put his hands all over her (something she doesn’t seem to mind all that much).
“You put this cute little set on just for me, huh?” he rasps out while his thumb smooths over the bubblegum pink fabric; feeling it out as he pinches the stretchy fabric between his fingertips, making her breath get caught in her throat in the process.
“Oh, um— just wanted to…try out some new stuff I ordered. You think it’s cute?” she stares at him with something bashful glimmering in her eyes.
“Mhm. Fits you nice,” he mumbles out as his gaze lingers on the way the tight material wraps around her figure, not leaving much to the (his) imagination. He bets it’d be so easy to just rip right through these cute yoga pants and pull her closer with a firm grip on her hips before burying his face between her plush thighs.
“Thanks,” she peeps out, flustered.
He tries to shake off the improper, filthy thoughts with a clear of his throat when he gets caught staring at her for a little too long.
“So, you actually wanna bend your leg on the other side of your body on the mat and support your foot with your left arm not the right one. Easy to get them confused,” he chuckles as she shifts her position according to his instructions as best as she can.
“Like this?” she seeks reassurance with a soft tone.
“Yeah, just like that, Bambi. Good job,” his mouth quirks up some while her mind begins to cloud over in response to his low cadence. She’s not entirely sure what exactly it is about him that makes her feel so fuzzy on the inside, but she thinks it’s nice, thinks she wants to always have him this close to her— wants him even closer.
She doesn’t remember the last time she’s had such an intense crush on someone— slowly turning into a crazy person by each second of not knowing whether he’s merely flirting with her for his own amusement or because he’s actually into her. However, she thinks she’s embarrassed herself in front of him far too many times for the latter to be true in any reality.
“Then need you to move your right hand here,” he adjusts her form with a grip on her wrist while he maneuvers her to his liking; tingles erupting all over the skin he skims over with his fingertips.
Her head is spinning.
“See? Knew you could do it. Feels nice, hm?” he rumbles out, letting his hands rest on her shoulders for support, despite the position not really requiring it.
She hums her response because she doesn’t trust for any coherent words to stumble out of her mouth at the moment, all the while Rafe is desperately trying to not pay attention to the nearly painful situation in his pants.

piggyback | k.mg
PAIRING: kim mingyu x gn!reader GENRE: fluff, established relationship SUMMARY: in which mingyu gives you a piggyback ride in the park WARNINGS: reader gets carried by mingyu, mention of body image concerns, mention of having kids, mild teasing, handholding, one kiss on the cheek, terms of endearment WORD COUNT: 956 NOTE: wow, my first fic !! lmk your thoughts everyone (^^)/
“What’re you thinking about?” Mingyu asked, momentarily pausing your stroll through the park to give your hand a gentle squeeze.
Broken out of your trance, you blink and glance up at him. Mingyu’s looking at you with a small smile, curious eyes, and raised eyebrows, waiting patiently for your answer.
“Huh?” You say, tilting your head slightly in confusion.
“I asked what you were thinking about. You looked deep in thought,” he replies, leaning in to softly poke you in the forehead.
“Oh!” Your mouth parts in realization. “I didn’t even notice I was zoning out.”
Instead of answering right away, you lean against his arm, your gaze drifting back to the playground that had caught your attention earlier. The park is alive with the golden glow of the afternoon sun, its rays filtering through the trees and casting shadows on the grass. Even from a distance, children's laughter rings out like an infectious joyful melody, blending with the soft rustle of leaves swaying in the gentle breeze.
Mingyu follows your gaze, tilting his head slightly as he tries to figure out what’s caught your attention. “Baby?” he calls softly, pulling you from your thoughts again.
You smile up at him, eyes warm and tender. “Sorry,” you chuckle. “I was watching the kids earlier and got lost in thought.”
“You were thinking about kids?” Mingyu huffs dramatically, playfully nudging your shoulder. “We’ve only been dating a couple of months, and you’re already imagining kids? Wow, how bold of you.”
“What? No!” you exclaim, your face growing warm as you pull back from his arm. “That’s not what I meant!” Covering your mouth with your hand, you let out a surprised laugh, embarrassed by his teasing.
Mingyu grins, clearly enjoying your flustered state. “Then what were you thinking about?” he presses, his voice still playful but now tinged with curiosity.
You glance back at the playground, the corners of your lips tugging into a wistful smile. “I was thinking about how happy and carefree they look. I guess it reminded me of when I was their age and life felt simple.”
You pause, hesitating, then add, “One of my favorite memories as a kid was getting piggyback rides. The wind rushing through my face made me feel like I was flying.”
Mingyu looks at you for a moment, then lets go of your hand. Without a word, he steps in front of you and turns around, bending his knees slightly. He pats the back of his thighs, glancing over his shoulder.
“What are you doing?” you ask, raising a brow.
“Hop on,” he says simply, his grin widening.
“Yeah, that’s not happening.” You cross your arms and shift your weight onto one foot.
Mingyu straightens up with a pout, crossing his arms to mirror you. “Why not? What, you don’t think I’m strong enough? These muscles aren’t just for show, you know.”
He flexes his bicep dramatically, and despite your resolve, your gaze flicks toward his arm for a moment too long. His smirk grows.
“Mingyu, be serious!” you protest, shaking your head
“I am! Tell me, why not?” He whines, dropping his arm.
“Because…” you start, then trail off, looking elsewhere.
“Because…?” he prompts, leaning closer.
You sigh, your voice dropping to a shy murmur. “What if I’m too heavy?”
Mingyu’s expression softens instantly. “Babe, that’s nonsense. If anything, it’s motivation for me to keep working out. And honestly, you’re perfect just as you are.”
His sincerity makes your chest tighten, and you’re not sure how to respond. Instead, you glance down, muttering, “What if people stare?”
He takes your hand, his thumb brushing over your knuckles. “There’s no one around on this side of the park. And even if there were, let them stare. It’s not every day people get to see someone as beautiful as you carried around by someone as handsome as me.”
You huff out a laugh, shaking your head at his shameless confidence. “You play a hard bargain, Mr. Kim. Fine, I’ll do it.”
Mingyu’s eyes light up with excitement. He turns around, crouching down again, his hands motioning for you to climb on. Taking a deep breath, you place your hands on his shoulders and jump gently onto his back. His hands immediately grip your thighs, steadying you as your arms loop around his neck.
“Ready?” he asks, barely containing his grin. “Here we go!”
Before you can respond, he takes off at a sprint, the wind whipping through your face as you shriek.
“Mingyu, slow down!” you cry out, though your laughter betrays your enjoyment.
“Faster? Got it!” he teases, his giggles mixing with yours as he dashes around the park.
After a few minutes of running, he slows to a leisurely pace, his chest rising and falling as he catches his breath.
“Honestly, I could walk us all the way home, and I wouldn’t even break a sweat.” he boasts, puffing out his chest playfully.
“All right, Superman, I get it,” you say, rolling your eyes and patting his chest lightly. “I’ll never doubt you or your ridiculous strength again.”
You rest your chin on his shoulder as he continues walking, the two of you wrapped in a comfortable silence.
“Thanks, Mingyu,” you whisper after a moment. “This… it means a lot to me.”
He turns his head slightly, his cheek brushing yours. “Yeah?” His voice is soft. “Well, you mean a lot to me, so this is the least I could do.”
Your heart swells, and you lean in to press a kiss to his cheek. His ears turn red, but he doesn’t say anything, just tightening his grip on your thighs slightly.
With Mingyu’s warmth and the serenity of the park surrounding you, everything feels right.

ILLICIT AFFAIRS (2/3) | CS55
summary : You tap on his profile again, almost like you’re double-checking to make sure this isn’t some kind of glitch. But no. Apparently, it’s real. You thought it was just a one-night stand. Maybe it still is. But who the hell follows their one-night stand’s Instagram?
or: Carlos proposes a deal to counter your argument that no he cannot catch a two-hour plane ride for a bootycall— phone sex.
wc : 7.5k
an : uh.. hi again 🫶 this was super fun to write!! :> im so glad ppl seemed to enjoy pt 1
He’s hyperaware of the heat radiating from your skin, the faint sheen of sweat glistening against the dim light, and the way your fingers lazily trace patterns across his chest.
When it’s over, Carlos feels the weight of you collapse onto his chest, your soft breaths mingling with his own as both of you struggle to steady yourselves.
He knows this should be the part where he gets up, grabs a drink, maybe offers you a towel.
Instead, his hands wander down your back, his fingertips finding those tiny dimples near the base of your spine. He traces slow, absentminded circles, grinning when you squirm against him with a halfhearted giggle that bubbles up like a melody he didn’t know he liked.
“Ticklish, huh?” he teases, his voice low and teasing, though it lacks the sharpness he usually reserves for these fleeting encounters.
“Maybe,” you mumble into his chest, your voice muffled and sleepy.
He chuckles, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
It’s the kind of thing he doesn’t normally do.
Too intimate, too dangerous. But with you, it feels natural, easy.
And therein lies the problem.
He pulls out, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead when you let out a quiet whine.
With a practiced motion, he removes the condom, ties it off, and tosses it into the bin before slipping back into bed beside you, not even a minute later.
The two of you lie there in the quiet, the air between you filled with the soft sound of your breathing.
Carlos stares at the ceiling, his mind racing even as his body feels like it’s sinking into the mattress.
This was supposed to be simple.
One night. No strings.
But you’re fun. Too fun, really.
It's not that he’s never met women who are funny, or ones who’ve turned an evening into something more than just a tangle of bodies.
It’s just that, for the most part, that’s all it is. An unspoken agreement that they'll share the night, and then part ways. A blank, if not lustful, exchange.
You, on the other hand, have spent the whole night surprising him, throwing him off-kilter in a way he didn’t think he’d enjoy.
The banter, the teasing, the way you’d wrinkle your nose at him when you didn’t believe his answers.
It all stuck with him in a way he knows it shouldn’t.
“You want tiramisu?” he asks suddenly, his voice cutting through the silence.
You lift your head, your sleepy eyes meeting his with a confused smile. “What?”
“Tiramisu,” he repeats, his lips twitching into a smirk. “Do you still want some?”
Your laugh is so unexpected and genuine that it catches him off guard. It’s light, carefree, and the way your nose scrunches in that way he's becoming to fond makes his chest tighten.
“I just… gave you the best sex of your life,” you say, propping yourself up on your elbow, your grin mischievous. “And you’re offering me dessert?”
Carlos raises an eyebrow, his smirk widening. “What can I say? I’m a man of priorities.”
“Priorities, huh?” You snort, shaking your head. “So what, tiramisu’s your way of saying ‘thanks for the good time’?”
“Something like that.” He shrugs, though the glint in his eyes betray his amusement.
You narrow your eyes at him, but there’s no real malice in your gaze. “You’re ridiculous.”
“Ridiculously charming,” he counters without missing a beat, his grin turning cocky.
You roll your eyes, but the way you settle back against his chest tells him you’re not as annoyed as you pretend to be.
And that’s when it hits him, the thought sinking like a stone in his gut.
He likes this. Likes you.
Maybe not romantically. Not yet at least. But definitely more than he should.
The realization is unwelcome, gnawing at the edges of his carefully constructed rules.
This is a one-night stand. That’s all it’s supposed to be.
But here you are, lying on his chest like you belong there, laughing at his dumb jokes and making his heart flip in a way that feels too good to ignore.
The thought itself makes him sick.
“Alright,” you say suddenly, breaking him out of his spiral. “Fine. Let’s get tiramisu.”
He blinks at you, startled by your casual agreement. “Yeah?”
“Yeah,” you nod, grinning. “But only if you admit I was better than you.”
Carlos groans, his head tipping back against the pillow. “I’m never admitting that.”
You laugh again, soft and sweet, and Carlos knows, despite himself, that he’s in trouble.
He places the order moments later.
You’re still sprawled on the bed, a lazy grin playing on your lips.
“Do you always use tiramisu as a post-sex strategy?” you ask, your voice light but curious.
He smirks, sitting on the edge of the bed and tossing his phone onto the nightstand. “Only for people who deserve it.”
You snort, rolling onto your stomach to prop your chin on your hands. “Lucky me.”
“Lucky me,” he counters, glancing over his shoulder at you. The way your hair falls across your face, messy and untamed, makes his chest tighten.
When the dessert arrives, Carlos grabs it from the door, careful not to let the guy bringing it up see the faint red marks on his neck.
He returns with the elaborate cloche, holding it up triumphantly. “Food is served.”
You both sit cross-legged on the bed, the plate between you.
Carlos hands you a fork, watching as you take your first bite. Your eyes widen in exaggerated delight.
“Wow. This might be better than sex,” you joke, though the mischievous glint in your eye says otherwise.
Carlos chuckles, shaking his head. “You wound me again.”
“Well, maybe if you’d ordered two...” you tease, but your tone softens as you gesture for him to take his own bite.
The tiramisu is good. Great, even. But Carlos barely notices.
He’s too focused on the way you laugh when you get a bit of cream on your nose, or how your lips curve as you savor each bite.
You’re funny, in a way that feels effortless. It’s not just the jokes or the teasing; it’s the way you bring a lightness to the room, the way you make him feel like this moment is the only thing that matters.
And there's that thought again.
He shouldn’t be feeling this way.
He barely even knows you.
Carlos watches you scrape the last bit of tiramisu from the plate, your eyes gleaming with triumph as you lick the fork clean.
He leans back against the headboard, arms crossed, a mock glare plastered across his face.
“Didn’t even save me the last bite,” he says, shaking his head. “Unreal.”
“You snooze, you lose,” you reply smugly, placing the empty plate on the nightstand with a flourish.
“I was letting you enjoy it,” Carlos argues, sitting up straighter. “It’s called being a gentleman. Look it up.”
You snort, rolling your eyes. “A gentleman wouldn’t sulk over dessert.”
“A gentleman wouldn’t have to sulk if someone had manners,” he shoots back, a playful grin tugging at his lips.
You throw your head back, laughing, and Carlos feels a strange pang in his chest.
He quickly smothers it, keeping his expression light, his tone teasing.
“Don’t worry,” you say between giggles. “I’ll order you a second one. You’ll survive.”
“Don’t bother,” he says, waving you off dramatically. “I’ll just starve. Waste away. Die in this very bed.”
“Oh, stop it,” you say, swatting his arm. “You’re so dramatic.”
“Dramatic? Me?” He feigns shock, pressing a hand to his chest like you’ve mortally wounded him. “I’m the picture of restraint.”
You narrow your eyes at him, a smirk playing on your lips. “Restraint? Coming from the guy who ate my pussy out earlier like a starved man?”
“That’s called quality service,” he says, completely deadpan. “You’re welcome, by the way.”
“Quality service,” you repeat, raising an eyebrow. “Is that what we’re calling it now?”
He smiles, nodding.
This is what you deserve.
Lighthearted fun, no heavy emotions weighing you down.
He’s an expert at keeping things that way, at making sure there’s nothing to hold onto when the moment ends.
It’s what he promised you. And it’s what he’s going to give you.
Because anything more would be unfair.
Carlos slides out of bed quietly, careful not to disturb you as you stretch languidly under the covers.
His shirt, now crumpled, is pulled over his head in one swift motion, followed by his jeans.
He pauses for a moment, running a hand through his hair, the weight of the night settling on him like a second skin.
You watch him with a raised brow, propped up on your elbow. “I thought I was supposed to be the one getting kicked out?”
The corner of his mouth twitches as he glances at you, shaking his head. “It’s a hotel, not my permanent residence,” he retorts, his voice tinged with amusement. “I’ll go.”
The playfulness in your tone doesn’t escape him, and he can’t help but snort softly. “Besides, you look too comfortable to be evicted.”
You laugh, tucking the sheets around you. “Chivalry isn’t dead, huh?”
“Not tonight,” he quips, grabbing his wallet and keys from the nightstand.
For a moment, neither of you speaks.
The weight of reality hangs in the air, but you don’t acknowledge it. Instead, you watch as he slips on his shoes, movements practiced and deliberate.
“You don’t have to, you know,” you say finally, your voice softer now. “Leave, I mean.”
He pauses at the door, his hand resting on the handle. “I do,” he replies, looking back at you with a small, almost sad smile. “But thanks for making tonight worth it.”
You roll your eyes, but there’s a warmth to your expression. “You’re a sap, you know that?”
“Guilty,” he says, offering you a mock tip-of-the-hat, before stepping out.
As the door clicks shut behind him, Carlos exhales, the cool night air hitting him as he makes his way down the hall.
His chest feels tight, but he pushes the feeling aside, forcing himself to focus on the sound of his footsteps echoing against the hotel’s tiled floor.
It’s better this way, he tells himself. Simple. Clean. No messy feelings to untangle in the morning.
—-
The next morning, Carlos slowly stirs awake, groaning as the sunlight filters through the blinds, casting a soft glow across the room.
His muscles feel heavy, his head a little foggy.
Last night is a blur, but the warmth of it lingers. The weight of your presence, the quiet moments between laughs, the way your eyes shone...
He stretches, cracking his back, but then, like a sudden punch to the gut, it hits him.
The NDA.
“Shit,” he mutters, sitting up so fast it makes his head spin.
He runs a hand over his face, the realization sinking in.
How could he forget that?
He’s been drilled on it, the legal side of things, the contracts, all of it.
He tries to calm himself, taking a deep breath.
You wouldn’t talk. You wouldn’t risk your own career for some tabloid fodder. You’re famous too, after all. Not in the same way, but enough that the press would chew you up if you decided to spill anything.
But still. His PR team would rip him apart.
His manager? Worse. And the worst part? He’d promised—promised—to behave for at least a month. A month.
And if Carlos is anything, he’s a man of his word.
“Dios mío,” he groans, grabbing his phone from the bedside table.
He scrolls through his messages, finding your number quickly. The last text exchange, brief and teasing, makes him pause.
He hesitates for a moment, wondering if texting you about this will only make things worse. Then again, what could be worse than his manager screaming in his ear while tabloids run wild?
His thumbs hover over the keyboard before he types out:
Carlos Hey. So... I realized I forgot to make you sign an NDA last night. My bad.
He deletes it immediately. Too casual.
Carlos Morning. Hope you slept well. Quick thing, meant to get an NDA signed last night. Oops.
Carlos Don’t think you’d spill, but PR would freak. Let me know if you’re alright with me sending one over?
Carlos hesitates for a moment before adding:
Carlos Also, thanks again for last night. You’re fun to be around, even if you’re a little too good at teasing me.
He hits send before he can second-guess himself, tossing his phone onto the bed with a resigned sigh.
Now all he could do was wait and hope that:
1. You wouldn’t be offended.
2. His manager wouldn’t find out about this oversight.
—-
You blink into the morning light, squinting at the phone buzzing on the nightstand like it’s trying to crawl off the table.
You groggily grab it, seeing Carlos' name pop up with a new message.
You stretch, still half asleep, and glance over the message.
The first thing that hits you is the casual tone of it, which instantly makes you raise an eyebrow. NDA?
You don’t exactly need one, at least, you didn’t think you did. But then again, it makes sense. It’s a weird industry, and it’s not like you haven’t signed your fair share of these ridiculous things before.
You laugh a little at the thought, recalling the night before. The way everything felt so effortless, so easy, and now, here he is, texting you about NDAs like it’s the most normal thing in the world.
You picture him sitting in a hotel room, pacing, maybe even nervously fidgeting with his phone like some kind of over-caffeinated, nervous wreck.
You click on his message again, rereading it.
It’s... kind of adorable, the way he’s trying to play it cool about the whole thing. You grin.
And then you spot the part where he thanks you for last night. You’re fun to be around, even if you’re a little too good at teasing me.
That makes you smile, your cheeks warming a little.
You know what he's trying to do, being all casual and kind of sweet. But you can’t help it; it’s working.
You were just teasing him for fun, but hearing him say that? Well, it kind of feels nice.
But you don’t let it linger for long.
You know the drill. You’ve signed NDAs more times than you care to count, and it’s not like you’d ever be stupid enough to leak anything. That’s not even on the table.
Sure, there are some ridiculous tabloid stories out there, but you’re not about to give them the satisfaction.
Your career and reputation are worth more than any cheap headline.
You’re not the kind of person who’d throw away your dignity for a bit of gossip, not to mention that Carlos probably wouldn’t either.
He may be a little reckless, but you get it. Both of you have something to protect, and you respect that.
You stare at your phone, a little smile tugging at your lips. You decide to just keep it simple. He’s worrying, but you’re not about to make things more complicated.
You type out your reply:
you Don't worry about it. They're not getting anything out of me.
you I’ve signed worse things than an NDA, and I’m not about to be the person to ruin your career. If it can even be ruined at this point
you Go ahead and send it over. I’ve got you
By the time afternoon rolls around, you've handled the whole NDA situation with surprising ease.
The paperwork is signed, sealed, and done in record time.
You would have expected more back-and-forth, but Carlos kept it simple. Sent the document, answered your questions, and now it’s behind you.
No drama, no complications.
You step out of the hotel with a relieved breath, feeling like the morning's oddities are finally behind you.
But then there's that nagging little detail: Charles.
Charles, who always has a million questions when you don’t stick to your usual routine.
You grab a coffee on your way back to your room, the scent a comforting excuse for your absence.
It's just something simple. Something that won’t trigger his radar.
You know Charles too well.
A well-timed story about running out for caffeine sounds harmless enough.
And if not, well..
You’ll make it work.
—-
The next week, you’re nursing a mild headache, the kind that makes the sound of your alarm feel like a personal betrayal.
As you peel your face off the pillow, the regret for every sip of alcohol you’d had the night before hits you with the force of a freight train.
You really should stop letting Daniel and Landon drag you to every club under the sun.
Your hair’s a mess, your pajamas are a little too wrinkled for comfort, and you move with the grace of a sleep-deprived zombie who’s been deprived of both sleep and caffeine.
First stop? Coffee. Always coffee.
You shuffle into the kitchen, eyes half-lidded, and reach for your favorite mug, the one that’s seen better days. The faded design, "World's Okayest Sister," is probably more fitting this morning than ever before.
You measure the coffee grounds with mechanical precision, almost like your body’s running on autopilot.
The machine hums to life, and you watch it, waiting impatiently as the rich aroma of coffee fills the kitchen.
If you stare hard enough, maybe it'll brew faster.
Once the mug is filled, you lift it to your lips and take a long, heavenly sip.
The warmth radiates through you like a tiny, much-needed hug. It's not perfect, but it’s coffee, and that’s all that matters right now.
With the cup cradled in your hands, you shuffle back to your phone, which is still sitting on the counter from last night.
Scrolling through the notifications, you pause, your thumb hovering over the screen.
And then you see it.
carlossainz55 followed you.
Your coffee mug pauses midair, precariously balanced as you blink once, twice, trying to process what you’re seeing.
No, surely you’re still asleep.
That has to be it.
You’re dreaming. It’s the only logical explanation.
But no, the notification doesn’t disappear when you squint at it. It stays there, glaring at you, daring you to react.
Carlos’ profile pops up on your screen.
His name. His profile picture, all charm and confidence. His grid, filled with race shots, candid moments, sponsoring deals and that annoyingly perfect smile.
And there it is, glaringly obvious: “Follows you.”
You tap on his profile again, almost like you’re double-checking to make sure this isn’t some kind of glitch.
But no.
Apparently, it’s real.
You thought it was just a one-night stand. Maybe it still is.
But who the hell follows their one-night stand’s Instagram?
You stare back at the notification, still processing it, still waiting for something to make sense of this.
The world feels like it's moving at half speed as you squint at the screen.
Maybe it’s a mistake, you think. Some part of you wants to just close the app and forget it.
But the notification doesn’t disappear.
It lingers. Mocking you.
It’s not like you hadn’t thought about him.
Hell, how could you not? The night had been... well, amazing. The chemistry, the way everything just clicked, the way he made you laugh, how easy it all felt, like you’d known each other far longer than you really had.
The sex? Stellar. Absolutely 10/10. Probably something you'd brag about to your friends in a very classy, not-at-all-suggestive way if you hadn’t signed that NDA.
But now... this.
Him following you on Instagram?
It's like getting slapped in the face with a wet fish that had somehow been lit on fire.
What does this even mean? Are you supposed to act like it’s totally normal? Like you didn’t just have a mind-blowing night that now, suddenly, has an Instagram follow attached to it like a weird souvenir?
Is this how Carlos tells people he’s into them? Like, “Hey, I’ll follow you on Instagram, but let’s keep it low-key, like how I casually post sponsored content about luxury watches that cost more than your rent.”
Maybe he follows everyone he hooks up with?
But no, he’s Carlos Sainz Jr.
This is a guy who gets paid in gold bars, signs contracts that come with their own zip code, and has a fanbase that could start a small country. He's the type who has a personal assistant for his personal assistant.
The fact that he’s following you feels like finding out that Beyoncé follows you. It’s just.. weird.
You inhale sharply, suddenly remembering how to breathe, and glance at the clock.
It’s way too early for this kind of chaos.
You take another sip of coffee, as though caffeine might somehow help you process what’s unfolding.
Your thumb hovers over the follow-back button. Do you? Should you?
Of course, you do.
You tap the button before you can overthink it, and the little blue “Follow” turns into a subdued grey “Following.”
You sit there for a moment, staring at your phone, waiting for… something.
A notification.
A message.
Maybe a rogue pigeon delivering a note written in Carlos’ annoyingly neat handwriting. But nothing happens.
Nada.
“Cool,” you mutter to yourself, setting the phone down as if you’re trying to pretend nothing happened.
You take a deep breath, forcing your mind to focus on literally anything else. Like taxes. Or organizing your sock drawer. Anything but the lingering feeling of weirdness in your gut.
For the rest of the day, you pretend to be busy.
You check your notifications like a paranoid criminal every hour, convinced that your phone is holding some secret conversation you’ve missed.
But no. Nothing. Just the usual nonsense. Some ads, a message from your mom about dinner, a reminder to wash your laundry.
One day turns into two. Then three. The silence becomes more deafening, and you start to wonder if you imagined the whole thing.
Did Carlos actually follow you? Did you dream the entire sequence?
By the end of the week, your life is back to normal. The frantic phone-checking ceases. It's forgotten, a memory that’s faded to black like an expired coupon.
Then, seven days later, your phone lights up, the notification banner buzzing with the energy of a surprise party that you didn’t ask for.
carlossainz55 So, do you always follow people and then pretend they don’t exist?
You blink.
Twice.
Maybe you missed something?
You almost drop your phone because you’re so unprepared for whatever this is.
It feels like being tackled by a puppy while holding a glass of wine. You were doing fine, and then suddenly, everything’s upside down.
yourhandle Excuse me? You followed me first
carlossainz55 Details. The silence was deafening
yourhandle I figured you were busy being, you know, a world-famous rally driver. No time for little people like me
carlossainz55 I make time for the important things
You snort into your coffee, half-amused, half-annoyed. The casual way he says it makes you want to roll your eyes, but you're also weirdly charmed.
yourhandle So, what prompted this sudden message? Lose a bet?
carlossainz55 I was cleaning out my DMs and remembered there was one person I forgot to annoy
yourhandle Wow. I’m honored
carlossainz55 You should be
carlossainz55 By the way, how’s your brother? Still glaring at pictures of me?
yourhandle Probably. I think he keeps a dartboard somewhere with your face on it
carlossainz55 Tell him he needs better aim. I’m still standing
yourhandle He's practicing
carlossainz55 If he needs lessons, tell him I’m available
yourhandle Yeah, I’ll let him know. I’m sure he’d love some quality bonding time with you
The conversation flows easily, light and teasing, like you’re two middle schoolers passing notes in class.
Except the notes are digital, and the subject isn’t Mrs. Henderson’s questionable choice in socks but rather the unspoken elephant in the room.
You both dance around it like you’re in twelve-year-olds, neither of you brave, or stupid, enough to confront it head-on.
At least not until Carlos, true to form, decides that subtlety is for mortals.
carlossainz55 So… about that night…
You freeze, suddenly less comforted and more “oh no, where is this going?”
yourhandle What about it?
carlossainz55 I was just thinking...
yourhandle Dangerous start
carlossainz55 ...we should do it again.
Your jaw drops. This man. This actual man.
Subtle as a brick to the face.
Your brain short-circuits for a moment, staring at your phone like it just insulted your family.
yourhandle Excuse me?
carlossainz55 You heard me. Round two. Let’s make it happen
yourhandle Carlos, you don’t just text someone a week later and propose a sequel. That’s not how this works
carlossainz55 Why not? It’s efficient. I’m a very busy man
yourhandle Busy doing what? Posing with expensive cars and pretending to care about energy drinks?
carlossainz55 Exactly. It’s a tough life
You snort, shaking your head.
He’s absolutely ridiculous, and yet you can’t stop yourself from responding.
yourhandle And what makes you think I’d even say yes?
carlossainz55 Because the first round was great. Admit it.
You hesitate, not wanting to give him the satisfaction.
But he’s not wrong.
yourhandle Okay, fine. It was great. But that doesn’t mean I’m jumping at the chance for a repeat performance.
carlossainz55 Come on, live a little. I’ll even let you pick the time and place
yourhandle Oh, how generous of you
carlossainz55 I try my best
You roll your eyes so hard they practically fall out of your head.
But deep down, you’re kind of enjoying this absurd back-and-forth.
He’s bold, sure, but there’s something oddly charming about his audacity.
yourhandle I’ll think about it
carlossainz55 That’s a yes. I’ll pencil you in
yourhandle Don’t get ahead of yourself, Sainz
carlossainz55 Too late
The next day, your phone pings with a message. It’s too early for coherent thoughts, but you know it’s him.
You squint at the screen, and sure enough:
carlossainz55 So… have you decided? Sex?
You blink. Twice. Is he serious? Of course, he is. It’s Carlos.
yourhandle Wow. No preamble? No “How are you?” Just straight to it?
carlossainz55 I’m efficient
yourhandle I think the word you're looking for is shameless
carlossainz55 That too. So? Are you free?
yourhandle Oh, totally free. Let me just clear my very busy schedule of pretending to have my life together. Where are you, anyway?
carlossainz55 Mallorca. Family stuff. You?
yourhandle Monaco. Basically living in Charles’ yacht at this point. You know, as one does. Mostly trying to avoid being swallowed by the summer rumor mill
There’s a long pause. You can practically hear him doing the mental math.
carlossainz55 Okay, so… two-hour flight? That’s nothing. I can be there by dinner
yourhandle Carlos, are you seriously suggesting flying across countries for a booty call?
carlossainz55 I’ve done more for less
yourhandle This is why the planet’s dying
carlossainz55 Okay, okay. Saving the dolphins. What’s the eco-friendly option here?
You roll your eyes, fully expecting the next message to be ridiculous.
And, of course, it doesn’t disappoint.
carlossainz55 Phone sex
yourhandle I’m sorry, what?
carlossainz55 Efficient. Sustainable. Zero emissions. It’s the responsible choice
yourhandle Carlos, do you even know how phone sex works?
carlossainz55 No, but I’m adaptable. Like learning a new track. Same principles
yourhandle You did NOT just compare dirty talk to racing strategies
carlossainz55 Why not? Both require focus, timing, and precision. And confidence, of course
You groan, half in disbelief, half because you’re genuinely entertained.
yourhandle Carlos, this is absurd. You’re absurd
carlossainz55 Absurdly charming
yourhandle Absurdly something, that’s for sure
carlossainz55 So? Are we doing this? Or are you too chicken?
You laugh, shaking your head, still not sure how you ended up here— bantering with a world-famous driver about... phone sex.
You’re almost impressed by how persistent he is.
yourhandle Carlos, I swear, you’re something else.
carlossainz55 I know. It’s a gift
---
Carlos is nervous.
He shouldn’t be.
He’s Carlos Sainz Jr—cool under pressure, smooth behind the wheel, and cocky enough to make people swoon without lifting a finger.
Yet here he is, pacing his room like a lovesick teenager, nerves coiling tighter with each passing second.
Why is he nervous?
He already knows the answer— Because it’s you.
Because for the past week, you’ve been haunting his every waking thought.
Every stolen moment has been spent thinking about the way your lips had parted for him, the way your eyes had rolled back when he sank deep inside you, the way your voice, breathless and wrecked, had gasped his name like it was your favorite prayer.
He’s pathetic, really.
Fisting his cock every night like some horny rookie, chasing memories of you that refuse to fade.
He remembers every little detail too vividly.
Your soft whimpers, the flush of your cheeks, the dazed way you’d looked up at him with a mixture of awe and need.
It’s seven minutes until your scheduled call.
Scheduled.
Like this is some professional meeting and not an invitation to lose his mind over you through a goddamn phone.
He swears under his breath, rubbing a hand over his face as he feels the familiar heat pooling low in his belly.
“Joder,” he mutters, already hard just thinking about you.
He sits back against the headboard, sliding his boxers down his thighs.
His cock springs free, aching and flushed, already leaking like he’s some desperate virgin. He swears again, low and guttural, wrapping his hand around the base as if it’ll calm him down.
It doesn’t.
Carlos spits into his palm, slicking himself up with a firm grip.
His hips twitch at the first stroke, and he hisses through his teeth, already so sensitive he’s on the edge of losing it.
He shuts his eyes, letting his mind drift to you. Fuck. Your pretty little cunt, so tight and wet around him, gripping him like you never wanted to let go.
He can still hear the way you’d moaned his name, sweet and broken, like you couldn’t get enough of him.
He strokes himself harder, his fist moving in slick, desperate pumps.
His breathing grows heavier, each exhale mingled with a groan as his hips lift to meet his hand.
“Good girl,” he mutters, his voice low and rough, the words slipping out without thought.
His mind is full of you.
How perfect you’d looked when he’d buried his face between your thighs, your legs trembling as he devoured you.
He remembers the way you’d begged for him, the way your fingers had tugged at his hair as he licked and sucked until you fell apart.
“Fuck,” he groans, his pace quickening. His free hand grips the sheets, knuckles white as he imagines your face again.
Your lips parted, your expression blissful and wrecked as he pushed you over the edge.
He’s close, teetering on the edge of release, his cock throbbing in his fist.
“Such a good girl,” he slurs, his hips bucking uncontrollably. “Taking me so well—mierda—just like that...”
The thought of your cunt fluttering around him, your breathy cries echoing in his ears, pushes him over.
With a guttural groan, he spills over his hand, thick ropes of cum painting his stomach as he rides out his high.
His chest heaves as he comes down, the pleasure fading and leaving behind a warm haze and just a little shame.
He stares at the mess he’s made, breathing heavily as he mutters a soft curse.
And then the phone buzzes. Your name lights up the screen.
Carlos firmly believes that every man has a refractory period, it's simple biology.
But as his cock twitches at the sight of your name lighting up his phone screen, he starts to question everything he’s ever known.
It’s almost embarrassing how quickly he hardens again, his body responding to you like you’ve got some magical hold over him.
He huffs out a breath, staring down at the mess he’s made on his stomach, the sticky evidence of how utterly gone he is for you.
With a shaky hand, he answers the call.
His voice comes out softer, more composed than he feels. “Hey.”
Your reply is immediate, and the sound of your voice sends another jolt straight to his cock. “Hey.”
Carlos clenches his jaw, fighting the urge to whine. His body’s so sensitive it aches.
“You nervous?” he asks, his tone laced with a teasing edge to hide how wrecked he feels.
“A little,” you admit, your voice breathy.
He exhales through his nose, his lips quirking up into a smirk. “Then let’s fix that, shall we?”
—
There’s a pause, and then he murmurs, “Do you mind if I take the lead, sweetheart?”
You bite your lip, heat pooling low in your belly at the pet name. “No, Carlos.”
“Good girl.” The words roll off his tongue, slow and deliberate, and you feel the throb of need between your legs intensify.
“Are you in your underwear right now?” he asks, his voice dropping to a low rumble.
You glance down at yourself, cheeks flushing. “Mhm...”
“Tell me what they look like.”
“They’re red,” you whisper, your voice shy.
Carlos grins, his tone playful. “My favorite color. Take them off for me, baby.”
Your breath hitches, and you slip them off, letting them fall to the floor.
“Are you wet for me?” he asks, his voice husky.
“Very,” you admit, your cheeks burning.
“Let me hear.”
You hesitate, unsure how to respond. “How do I-?”
Carlos chuckles, the sound deep and rich. “Slip a finger in, baby. Let me hear how soaked you are for me.”
You inhale shakily, doing as he says.
The moment your finger slides in, you let out a soft whimper.
It’s not enough.
It’s nowhere near enough.
“Fuck,” Carlos groans, the sound making your pussy clench. “You are wet. God, baby, I’d kill to be there right now. All those pretty juices going to waste... I’d lick you clean.”
You whine at his words, your hips shifting against your hand as you try to chase the feeling.
“I know, I know,” he soothes, though his voice is strained, like he’s holding himself back. “Start moving that finger, sweet girl.”
You obey, your breath hitching as you pump your finger slowly. It’s good, but it’s not enough. Not compared to Carlos.
“Carlos,” you whimper, your voice breaking. “Please...”
His laugh is soft, teasing. “Need more?”
“Yes,” you gasp, your hips bucking into your hand. “Yes, please-”
“Okay, baby. Add another finger for me.”
You do, slipping in another finger with a hiss. The stretch feels better, but it still pales in comparison to what you really want.
“Thank you,” you mewl, your head tipping back against the pillow as you fuck yourself slowly.
Carlos groans, his hand wrapping around his cock again, unable to stop himself. “That’s it, baby. Fuck yourself for me. Let me hear those pretty little sounds.”
Your thighs tremble as you press your palm harder against your aching clit, your hips rolling instinctively.
The heat pooling low in your belly is unbearable, and every tiny movement sends sparks racing across your skin.
On the other end of the phone, Carlos has been quiet, but you can hear it, his uneven breathing, the faint hitch in his breath that tells you he’s not unaffected.
You let out a soft, broken moan, unable to keep quiet, and his breath catches audibly.
“Are you…” Your voice is trembling, slurred with need as you choke out the words, “…are you touching yourself?”
“Of course I am,” he groans, his voice wrecked. “How could I not? Fuck, you’ve got me so hard I can’t think straight.”
The image of him stroking himself, his cock slick and swollen, his jaw clenched as his chest heaves, sends a rush of heat to your core.
You grind your hips against your palm, pressing harder against your clit as your thighs tremble.
“I wish you were here,” you whimper, your voice breathless. “Wish I could feel you. I’d be so full, Carlos. I’d clench around you so tight, just like this-”
The sound of your stuttered moan nearly sends him over the edge right there.
Each gasp, each whimper, each broken sob of his name over the line is another jolt to his already oversensitive cock.
He’s gripping himself tightly, too tightly, the pain blending with pleasure until he can’t tell where one starts and the other ends.
His grip falters for a moment before he picks up the pace, stroking himself mercilessly despite the ache in his stomach and the burn of overstimulation.
“You sound so fucking good,” he rasps, his voice cracking slightly as he fights to keep it together. “God, I wish I could see you right now- wish I could spread those legs and watch you touch yourself for me.”
Your shaky whimpers only spur him on. “Carlos… I-I’m so close.”
“Yeah?” His tone dips, almost desperate. “You gonna cum for me, sweet girl? Gonna make those pretty little noises when you fall apart?”
You grind your clit against your palm, your back arching as you nod, even though he can’t see you. “Yes- yes, Carlos-”
He groans, his hand faltering slightly as his cock twitches in his grip.
He’s so fucking close, but it’s almost unbearable now, every stroke of his hand sending shocks through his overstimulated body.
“Fuck, I can hear how wet you are,” he grits out, his teeth sinking into his bottom lip to stop the whines threatening to spill out.
“Wish I could taste you. God, I’d bury my face in that pussy and never come up for air.”
You gasp, the sound high-pitched and desperate, and he knows you’re right on the edge.
You can hear the faint, wet sound of his hand moving faster, matching your pace.
“Think about me, baby,” he murmurs, his voice rough and commanding. “Think about how good I’d feel inside you, stretching you, filling you. You’d take me so well, wouldn’t you? So tight, so wet for me.”
The filthy words rip a broken moan from your throat, your hips bucking wildly as you grind against your palm.
“Carlos,” you gasp again, your voice high-pitched and desperate.
“Come for me,” he whispers, his voice wrecked and raw. “Be a good girl and let me hear you fall apart. Let me hear how much you fucking need me.”
The moment your cries reach their peak, his hips buck involuntarily, his cock pulsing painfully in his hand.
“Carlos!” you scream, your voice cracking as you tumble over the edge.
Hearing his name on your lips like that almost breaks him. His body is trembling, his stomach tight, and the overstimulation is nearly unbearable.
He grits his teeth, his hand still moving as he chases his own release. “Fuck- fuck, baby, you sound so good- so perfect-”
Carlos can barely breathe now. His hand is slick with his own cum from earlier, and every stroke feels like fire, but he can’t stop. He won’t stop.
“God, you’re gonna kill me,” he groans, his voice shaking. “I’m so fucking close- fuck, I can’t-”
His words cut off as his orgasm crashes over him, his vision going white as his cock pulses in his hand.
It’s too much, way too much, but he strokes himself through it anyway, biting back the sobs of pleasure-pain threatening to escape.
When he finally collapses back against the pillows, utterly wrecked, he hears your soft, breathy laughter on the other end of the line. "Are you okay?"
Carlos exhales shakily, his chest still heaving as the aftershocks ripple through him. He wipes a hand over his face, his body buzzing and completely wrecked, but he manages to keep his voice even as he speaks.
"Yeah," he lies, his tone almost too casual. "Just… pent up, I guess."
The truth, though, is that he’s fried. His hand aches, his cock is oversensitive, and his nerves feel like they’ve been set on fire.
But he’d go through it all again, every unbearable second, just to hear the way you came undone for him.
“So,” he asks after a beat, breaking the heavy silence. “How’d I do? Be honest. I can take it.”
There’s a pause on your end, followed by a soft laugh that makes his chest tighten. “Was that really your first time?”
He snorts, running a hand through his sweat-dampened hair. “I mean, yeah. First time on the phone, anyway. Not my first time… y’know.”
“Uh-huh,” you tease, and he can hear the smirk in your voice. “Because you sounded like a pro. Like, suspiciously good.”
“Suspiciously good?” he echoes, feigning offense. “I’m just naturally talented, thank you very much.”
“You’re definitely talented,” you admit, your voice soft and warm. “Very good.”
He grins, letting the compliment settle into his chest like a warm weight. “Thank you,” he says, a little smug.
Then, without missing a beat, he adds, “Now, clean yourself up and drink some water.”
“Bossy,” you shoot back, laughing.
“Always,” he quips, his grin widening. “And I’ll keep saying it because I care. Hydrate, or I’ll call you again just to nag.”
“Fine, fine,” you relent, your tone playful. “I’ll get some water, but only because you’re so convincing.”
He chuckles, wishing he could actually take care of you.
He imagines bringing you a glass of water, wiping you down gently, maybe even cooking you something if you were hungry.
But he can’t. Not tonight, anyway.
“So,” he says, shifting the conversation, “how’s everything else? What’s new with you?”
You hum, and he listens as you shuffle around, likely cleaning yourself up as instructed. “Not much. Work’s been… chaotic. But in a good way, I guess? Keeps me busy.”
"I know that feeling," he says, grabbing a handful of tissues and grimacing as he cleans up the ridiculous mess pooling on his stomach. He swipes at it with quick, efficient movements, though the sheer volume makes him pause for a second.
"Dios mío," he mutters under his breath, shaking his head.
“The season’s kicking back up soon, and summer training’s been brutal,” he continues, his voice a little strained as he carefully wipes himself clean.
When he reaches lower, the sensitivity makes him wince, a sharp hiss escaping through clenched teeth.
His body’s wrecked, his nerves shot, and he’s not sure if it’s pleasure or pain anymore.
You are definitely not good for his health.
“Brutal, huh?” you tease. “Poor baby. All that fame and fortune must make it so hard to be you.”
“Hey, don’t knock it,” he retorts, laughing. “I’ve got to stay in top shape so I can keep looking good for you.”
“Oh, that’s why?” you shoot back, giggling. “Not, like, for the whole racing thing?”
“That’s just a side gig,” he jokes. “The real goal is impressing you. Obviously.”
You both laugh, the conversation easing into a comfortable rhythm.
He listens to you talk about your day, chiming in with little quips and teasing remarks that make you laugh.
It’s easy, natural, and he almost forgets that you’re miles apart.
Eventually, you yawn softly, and he can hear the tiredness in your voice. “I should let you go,” you say reluctantly.
“Yeah,” he agrees, though the thought of ending the call makes him a little regretful. “Get some rest.”
“You too,” you reply softly. “And Carlos?”
“Yeah?”
“Thank you. For… tonight. For everything.”
His voice softens. “Anytime, baby.”
When the call ends, he stares at the ceiling for a long moment, the silence of his room pressing in around him.
He sighs, running a hand over his face, and mutters to himself, “You’re so fucked, Sainz.”

SINK INTO THE MEMORY | HAN TAESAN X READER
PAIRING: sunshine protector! han taesan x sunshine! fem! reader
SUMMARY: Taesan feels the need to protect his ball of sunshine, Y/n.
GENRE: sunshine and sunshine protector, imagine, fluff
WORDCOUNT: 3.9k
A/N: A Taesan fluff imagine because I keep giving him angst imagines . . . LOL! Inspired by another BOYNEXTDOOR Taesan self composed song -- SINK INTO THE MEMORY ,, man he's so talented it makes me cry
୭🧷✧˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀
The sun hung low in the afternoon sky, casting golden light over the playground. The sound of children's laughter filled the air, but on the far side of the park, Y/n sat alone on the swing, kicking her legs to gain height, her tiny hands gripping the chains. At just six years old, she was already a little ball of energy, always smiling, always friendly. She hummed to herself as she swung higher, her eyes bright with the joy of a carefree afternoon.
Suddenly, a group of kids, a mix of her age and older, approached her with narrowed eyes. One of the older boys stepped forward and shoved her hard, knocking her off the swing. She landed with a soft thud in the sand, her hands stinging from the fall.
"Hey!" she exclaimed, her face scrunching up in confusion. "You didn’t have to push me! I was almost done, you could’ve waited your turn!"
The group of kids ignored her words, laughing as they claimed the swing for themselves. One of the older girls sneered at her. "Who cares? It’s ours now."
Y/n stood up, brushing the sand off her knees, and stomped her foot. "That’s not fair!"
The group started to move toward her, their tone shifting from playful to aggressive, and for the first time, she looked nervous.
That’s when he appeared.
Han Taesan, also six years old, had been watching from a distance. Though he was known as a "troublemaker" by his parents and the other adults around, he wasn’t bad—he just didn’t follow the rules like everyone wanted him to. Seeing the group ganging up on her, something stirred inside him. He walked up to them without hesitation, his little fists balled at his sides.
"Leave her alone," he said firmly, his voice steady despite his small size.
One of the boys from the group turned to him, sizing him up. "What are you gonna do about it?"
Taesan didn’t flinch. He pushed the boy hard enough to make him stumble back. "I said, leave her alone."
The group exchanged uncertain glances. They had heard about him—how he wasn’t afraid of getting into trouble. It was enough to make them think twice.
"Whatever," one of the kids muttered, turning away. "We were done here anyway."
As the group scattered, Y/n stood there, watching the whole thing in awe. She wiped at her cheeks, where a few frustrated tears had started to form. Instead of crying, though, she smiled brightly at her protector, her eyes sparkling with gratitude.
"Thank you!" she beamed, bouncing on her toes. "That was really brave of you."
He shrugged, kicking at the sand as if it wasn’t a big deal. "It’s nothing. They were being mean."
Y/n, still glowing with her usual sunshine-like energy, dug into her small backpack and pulled out a crinkly bag of snacks. "Want some?" she offered, holding the bag out to him.
Surprised, he blinked at her before slowly taking a piece. "Thanks," he mumbled.
And just like that, they sat down in the sandbox together, munching on snacks as if they had been friends forever. Y/n chatted away, her voice bubbling with excitement, while Taesan listened quietly, a small but genuine smile creeping onto his face. He hadn’t planned on making a friend that day, but now, with her by his side, it didn’t seem so bad.
୭🧷✧˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀
The late afternoon sunlight filtered through the classroom windows, casting a warm glow over the desks. Taesan, now 17, sat at his desk, his headphones snug over his ears as music pulsed through them. He absentmindedly tapped his fingers on the table to the beat, his gaze wandering toward the door, half-lost in the melody.
That’s when he spotted her.
Y/n was passing by his classroom, a tall stack of books in her arms. She was struggling to balance them, her steps wobbly, barely able to see over the top of the pile. Her brow furrowed in concentration as she shuffled down the hallway, clearly in over her head.
With a small sigh, he pulled off his headphones and placed them on his desk. Without a second thought, he stood up, leaving his classroom and slipping out into the hallway. He didn’t need to think twice—he couldn’t just sit there and watch her struggle like that.
Catching up to her with quick strides, he reached out and grabbed the stack of books from her arms. The sudden movement made her jump in surprise, her bright eyes widening as she turned to face him.
"Oh!" she gasped, her voice soft. "You scared me!"
Taesan gave her a small smirk, adjusting the books in his arms with ease. "Why are you carrying all of this by yourself?" he asked, his tone low but laced with concern. "Isn’t the vice class representative supposed to help with stuff like this?"
Y/n blinked at him, her face flushing slightly. She offered him one of her signature bright smiles, the kind that always made it hard for anyone to be mad at her.
"I volunteered to do it," she said softly, her voice sweet but firm. "I didn’t want to bother anyone else. Junho was busy."
He glanced at her, eyebrow raised. He knew her better than that—she had a habit of not asking for help, always shouldering the burden on her own. He didn’t buy her explanation, not one bit. But instead of pressing her on it, he simply sighed and shifted the weight of the books in his arms.
Y/n noticed the look on his face, the way his brows knitted together in quiet disbelief. Letting out a small giggle, she nudged him gently with her elbow.
"It’s fine now," she said, her smile widening. "You’re here to help me, aren’t you?"
He stared at her for a moment, then let out a soft huff of amusement. "Yeah, yeah, I guess so."
Without another word, the two of them continued walking down the hallway together, her steps now light and carefree without the heavy stack of books. Taesan walked beside her, still holding the books, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye. She was always like this—too kind, too independent. But he didn’t mind helping. Not when it came to her.
As they walked, the quiet warmth between them settled in, the kind of comfort that came from years of knowing each other, from the unspoken understanding they always seemed to share. Even without saying much, they were always in sync.
And despite the heavy books in his arms, Taesan couldn’t help but feel a little lighter as they made their way down the hallway together.
୭🧷✧˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀
The late afternoon sun cast a soft glow over the college campus, the sound of chatter and footsteps filling the air. Taesan walked on the side with his four friends, his headphones snug over his ears as they laughed and talked around him. Though their conversations flowed easily, he was in his own world, the beat of the music steady in his ears.
That’s when he saw her.
Y/n was across the quad, her expression tired and frantic, her fingers flying over her phone’s screen as if typing a million thoughts at once. Even from a distance, he could see the tension in her posture, the way her shoulders hunched forward as she moved quickly, almost nervously.
With a small frown, Taesan pulled off his headphones, letting them rest around his neck. He paused mid-step, eyes fixed on her, then glanced at his friends. "You guys go ahead," he said, his voice calm but distracted.
His friends exchanged glances, then shrugged and waved him off as they continued on their way. He didn’t waste another moment, cutting across the campus to catch up with her.
"Y/n!" he called out, raising his voice just enough to get her attention.
Y/n’s head jerked up at the sound of her name, her eyes wide and slightly panicked. As soon as she saw him, she quickly turned away, looking down and wiping at her face. But it was too late—he had already seen the glimmer of tears in her eyes.
His heart clenched.
"What’s wrong?" he asked softly, stepping closer to her.
"It’s nothing," she mumbled, her voice shaky, refusing to meet his gaze.
He let out a quiet sigh, knowing her well enough to understand when she wasn’t telling the full truth. Without a word, he gently took her hand, ignoring her weak protest as he led her toward a quiet bench tucked away from the busy part of campus. The area was mostly empty, the hum of campus life just a distant noise now.
They sat down, Y/n still clutching her phone tightly, her eyes darting around as if she didn’t want to face him. He watched her for a moment, her normally bright expression clouded with stress and sadness.
"So," he said softly, turning toward her, "are you going to tell me what’s really going on?"
She bit her lip, her fingers tightening around her phone, her brows furrowed as if trying to keep everything inside. For a moment, she didn’t say anything, her throat working as she held back the tears.
"Is it the group project?" he pressed gently, his voice quiet and careful.
Her silence was all the confirmation he needed. After a beat, she gave a small nod, not looking at him, her lips trembling. His eyes softened, and he felt a pang of sympathy. He knew she had been struggling with this project for a while, dealing with uncooperative group members and mounting stress.
"I’ll talk to them," he said, his tone firm. "They can’t just leave all the work to you."
"No!" she blurted out, her voice cracking. She shook her head quickly, finally meeting his gaze with watery eyes. "Don’t do that. It’s fine. I—I’m just a little stressed. I don’t want to bother anyone about it."
His jaw tightened. "It’s a group project. You shouldn’t be doing all the work by yourself."
Her frown deepened as she stared at him, her eyes pleading. "Please," she whispered, her voice trembling with exhaustion. "Let me handle it. I can do it, really."
He looked at her, the determination mixed with vulnerability in her gaze, and felt his resolve weakening. He hated seeing her like this, but he knew better than to push her when she was already so overwhelmed. With a long, resigned sigh, he rubbed the back of his neck, feeling the tension in his shoulders ease just a little.
"Fine," he said quietly, his voice softer now. "But promise me you’ll ask for help if it gets too much. You can’t do everything by yourself."
She gave him a big, grateful smile, the weight of her exhaustion still heavy in her eyes, but at least the panic had ebbed away a little. "I will," she whispered, though they both knew she was too stubborn to ask.
He didn’t press further, instead reaching out to give her hand a comforting squeeze. As they sat there in silence, the weight of the world seemed to lift just a little from her shoulders, knowing that—at the very least—she wasn’t completely alone.
୭🧷✧˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀
The library was quiet, the soft hum of overhead lights barely noticeable against the silence. Taesan pushed open the door, scanning the tables until his eyes landed on a familiar figure—Y/n. She was sitting alone, her head resting on the table, arms tucked under her cheek as if she'd collapsed into sleep.
He hesitated for a moment, taking in the sight of her, clearly exhausted. Walking over, he set his bag down quietly and slid into the chair next to her. Her laptop was still open, the screen displaying a half-finished document.
Taesan glanced at her, making sure she was still asleep. He could see the strain she’d been under from the deep circles under her eyes. Without a second thought, he reached for the laptop. Scrolling through the document, he realized she had been struggling with her group project—yet again. He sighed quietly and began typing, finishing the section she had started.
Minutes passed as he worked, his fingers moving swiftly over the keyboard. When he finally finished, he saved the document, closed her laptop gently, and pushed it aside.
Turning his attention back to Y/n, he rested his head on his arm, facing her. He couldn’t help but stare at her sleeping face, the way her features softened in sleep. There was something calming about just watching her, knowing she was finally getting some rest after everything she’d been dealing with.
A few minutes later, Y/n stirred, her eyes fluttering open. Taesan quickly sat up, pretending to look busy as she groggily lifted her head.
She blinked a few times, surprised to see him there. “Oh, hey,” she mumbled, her voice still thick with sleep. “When did you get here?”
He smiled softly. “A few minutes ago,” he lied, avoiding her eyes.
She stretched and rubbed her eyes, yawning. “That’s weird. I must’ve knocked out.” She sat up straighter, looking a bit more awake now. “You won’t believe it though—my group members finally started helping me out. It’s like a miracle or something.”
There was a hint of suspicion in her voice as she turned to him, narrowing her eyes playfully. “You wouldn’t happen to know anything about that, would you?”
Taesan shifted in his seat, shrugging nonchalantly. “No idea what you’re talking about,” he said, avoiding her gaze as a faint smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.
She stared at him for a moment, as if trying to read his face, but then shrugged and leaned back in her seat, letting it go. “Well, whoever it was, I owe them. Seriously. I was ready to lose it.”
He didn’t say anything, just smiled to himself, secretly pleased that his interference had helped her in some way. He glanced at her again, and for a moment, everything felt right—like this quiet connection between them was enough.
The sound of a distant clock ticking was the only reminder that time was still passing, but for now, Taesan was content to sit here, next to her, in the quietness of the library.
୭🧷✧˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀
FLASHBACK
Taesan didn’t listen. Y/n had been stressing over her group project for days, but when she’d mentioned her group members still weren’t pulling their weight, he couldn't just sit back and do nothing. Even though she told him not to interfere, he decided to handle it his way.
Spotting one of her group members near the student lounge, he walked straight up to him without hesitation.
“Hey, you’re in Y/n’s group for the project, right?” Taesan asked, his tone firm.
The guy—Sunho—looked up from his phone, sizing him up. “Yeah, why?”
“Well, you should really start helping her out,” Taesan said bluntly, crossing his arms. “She’s doing all the work, and it’s not fair. She shouldn’t have to carry the whole project on her own.”
Sunho scoffed, putting his phone away. “And what if I don’t? What are you gonna do about it?”
Taesan’s expression hardened, taking a step closer. “I know you’ve already got a warning for not pulling your weight on other group projects. I’m sure the professor would love to hear how you’re treating this one.”
The guy’s smirk faltered, his eyes narrowing. He muttered something under his breath before grumbling, “Fine, whatever. I’ll help out.”
Satisfied, Taesan nodded and walked away, already looking for the next person in Y/n’s group.
It didn’t take long to spot Jihye chatting with her friends near the campus cafe. She was laughing, clearly not thinking about the project at all. Taesan hesitated for a second, but then pushed forward, determined.
“Hey, Jihye,” he called out, walking up to the group.
She turned around, surprised to see him. “Oh, hey. What’s up?”
“You’re in Y/n’s group for the project, right?”
“Uh, yeah,” she replied, her smile faltering as her friends looked at her curiously.
“You should stop being lazy and start actually helping her out instead of letting her do everything,” Taesan said flatly, ignoring the shocked looks from the others. “It’s a group project, not a solo one.”
The girl’s face flushed red with embarrassment as her friends stared at her. “I—I’ve been helping,” she stammered defensively, glancing at her friends for backup. “We’re just… working on it separately.”
“Doesn’t seem like it,” Taesan shot back. “I’ve seen how stressed she is, and it’s not because you’ve been helping.”
The tension hung in the air, and her friends shifted uncomfortably. Jihye clenched her jaw, clearly embarrassed to be called out like this in front of her friends.
“Fine,” she muttered, crossing her arms. “I’ll talk to her and help out more.”
“Good,” Taesan said, his tone still sharp. He gave her one last look before turning on his heel and walking away, satisfied that he had done what needed to be done.
୭🧷✧˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀
The sun was shining brightly on campus as Y/n walked alongside her two friends, their laughter ringing through the air. They were heading to their favorite café when she spotted Taesan across the quad, walking with his friends. Her heart did a little flip.
“Han Dongmin!” she called out, her voice bright and cheerful. The moment he turned to look at her, his face broke into a small, genuine smile, and he waved back, his friends chatting animatedly beside him.
Her friends exchanged knowing glances, smirking at each other. “Aww, look at you! You’re practically glowing!” Wonyoung teased, elbowing her playfully.
“Right? You’re like a total lovesick puppy,” Yoon chimed in, waggling her eyebrows. “So, do you guys have something going on?”
“Shut up!” Y/n blushed, shaking her head vigorously. “We’re just best friends! That’s all!”
They laughed, clearly enjoying her flustered reaction. “Best friends who smile at each other like that? Come on! There’s got to be more to it!”
She felt a mix of embarrassment and frustration as they continued to poke fun at her. “Seriously, it’s nothing! We’ve always been this way!” She insisted, trying to keep her voice steady.
The teasing continued for a few more moments before her friends finally let the topic go, shifting to a discussion about upcoming events on campus. But even as they talked, Y/n felt a weight in her chest.
She let out a sigh of relief, grateful they had moved on, but the idea of having feelings for her best friend lingered in her mind like an unwelcome guest. Memories flashed through her head: times when he had stepped in to protect her, standing up to bullies or helping her with her books when she was overwhelmed. The way he always seemed to sense when she was having a tough day, how he’d show up just when she needed him most, his presence a comforting shield.
“Are you even listening?” Yoon asked, pulling her back to the present.
“Uh, yeah! Totally!” Y/n replied, forcing a smile, but her mind kept wandering back to Taesan. What if there was something more? What if they could be more than just friends?
She shook her head slightly, trying to dispel the thoughts. “I mean, it’s just... he’s really important to me, that’s all,” She said quietly, more to herself than anyone else.
“Whatever you say, Sunshine!” Wonyoung teased, giving her a playful nudge.
As they continued their walk, Y/n couldn’t help but glance back at Taesan, who was now laughing with his friends, the sunlight catching in his hair. Her heart fluttered again, but this time, it felt different—more complicated.
Could she really navigate the transition from best friends to something deeper? The thought danced tantalizingly at the edge of her mind, leaving her both excited and anxious.
୭🧷✧˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀
The library buzzed softly with the murmurs of students studying and typing away on their keyboards. At a table strewn with open textbooks and loose papers, Y/n sat, her gaze distant as she stared blankly at her laptop screen. The rhythmic clatter of keys and occasional shuffling of pages filled the background, but she barely noticed.
Taesan approached with a light-hearted stride, his usual grin replaced by a more contemplative expression. He slid into the seat next to her, his eyes scanning the scattered books and her vacant stare. Curiosity piqued, he leaned in close and waved his hand in front of her face, his fingers brushing lightly against her cheek.
“Hey, Earth to Y/n,” He teased, his voice gentle but laced with concern.
Startled, Y/n jolted upright, her cheeks flushing as she found herself inches from him. She quickly backed away, her heart racing as she tried to regain her composure.
“Oh, um, hi,” She stammered, avoiding his gaze. “I was just… thinking about stuff.”
“Stuff, huh?” He said, leaning back but keeping his gaze steady on her. “What’s on your mind?”
“It’s nothing,” She insisted, her blush deepening. She fidgeted with her pencil, trying to focus on anything but his intense eyes.
Taesan didn’t press further, respecting her reluctance to share. They sat in a companionable silence for a few moments, the tension between them building like static electricity in the air.
Finally, Y/n took a deep breath and turned to him, her eyes full of hesitance. “Can I ask you something?”
“Sure,” He replied, his interest clearly piqued.
“How do you know if you… like someone?” She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Taesan looked at her thoughtfully, his own cheeks faintly pink. “Well,” He began slowly, “I guess it’s when you want to be around them all the time, you care about their happiness more than your own, and you just feel this urge to protect them. Like, you always want to see them smile.”
A long pause followed his words, Y/n absorbing the meaning behind his confession. His heart pounded in his chest as he met her gaze.
“I guess,” He continued, taking a deep breath, “that’s how I know I like you. I want to protect you and make you happy. I like you a lot, Y/n.”
Y/n’s eyes widened in shock, her entire face turning beet red. For a moment, she seemed to malfunction, her mouth opening and closing as if searching for the right words.
Seeing her reaction, Taesan couldn’t help but chuckle softly. He reached over, gently taking her hand in his. “You don’t have to answer now. I just wanted you to know how I feel so you don’t misunderstand. No pressure.”
Instead of letting go, Y/n grasped his hand tightly, her fingers trembling slightly. Her gaze dropped to the table, her thoughts racing.
“You know,” She began, her voice wavering but sincere, “earlier today, Yoon and Wonyoung were teasing me about us. It got me thinking. I don’t know what I feel yet, but I do know that I don’t want anyone else to protect me but you.”
Taesan’s heart soared at her words. A soft smile spread across his face as he squeezed her hand gently.
“Then, let’s figure it out together,” He said softly, his eyes shining with affection.
Y/n nodded, a shy smile appearing on her lips. They sat together, hands intertwined, the weight of unspoken feelings finally shared between them.

enhypen - moonstruck
THE NIGHT AIR WAS WARM, infused with the salty tang of the sea and the soothing rhythm of waves crashing against the shore. The gentle breeze rustled the palm fronds, creating a soft, whispering melody that wrapped around you like a comforting blanket. This tranquil evening was the only redeeming quality of your job at the cluttered antique store. After two long years, you still wondered how your boss managed to keep the place afloat, especially when half the customers left without buying anything. Those who did purchase something often bombarded you with endless questions that drained your patience, just like today.
Exhaustion weighed heavily on your shoulders as your shift finally came to an end. All you wanted was to retreat to the solace of your home and hide beneath a warm blanket. It had been one of those days—when customers were rude, the air conditioning was a distant memory, your legs ached from standing, and you smelled like a dust-covered relic.
After struggling to lock the front door—an ancient key refusing to cooperate, as if it had been stuck since the Great Depression—you slung your bag over your shoulder and stepped out into the quiet streets of the Cut. The fresh sea air caressed your skin, invigorating your senses. You knew this town like the back of your hand, every crack in the pavement a familiar companion. The streetlights flickered overhead, bulbs long overdue for replacement, casting a dim glow that made the shadows dance around you. Though it wasn’t the safest place, it was home—a place where trouble always seemed to find you.
And one of them even had a name: JJ Maybank.
Like everyone in the Cut, you had heard countless stories about him and his adventures with the crew who proudly called themselves the Pogues. From the time you were kids, his reputation as a wild spirit with a devil-may-care attitude had preceded him. You remembered the laughter that echoed through the neighborhood as he and his friends roamed the sandy streets, always planning their next adventure—sneaking onto rooftops, racing bikes down the winding roads, and daring each other to dive into the ocean at dawn. JJ was the embodiment of carefree youth, with a reckless smile that could charm anyone and a spark in his eyes that promised trouble.
Despite sharing the same neighborhood, your worlds felt galaxies apart. While he thrived in the thrill of spontaneous adventures, you found comfort in the quiet corners of your life. You spent lazy afternoons lost in books, dreaming of places far beyond the horizon. As children, you’d played side by side in the warm sand, yet your paths seemed to diverge with the years. JJ was the star of wild tales and whispered legends, while you remained a quiet observer, forever intrigued yet hesitant to step into his whirlwind of chaos.
You never expected that your paths would cross, at least not like this — bound together by a single, reckless moment that would change everything.
As you stood there, savoring the rhythmic crash of waves against the sandy shore, the tranquil scene was suddenly pierced by the sound of heavy footsteps behind you — fast and uneven, as if someone were running. The street was mostly quiet, just a few couples strolling hand in hand, lost in the warmth of a summer evening. The sudden urgency in the air pulled your attention, stirring a sense of curiosity.
Before you could turn to see who it was, a hand grasped your wrist, spinning you around with a swift motion. Your heart leaped into your throat, eyes widening in shock. You instinctively clutched the worn fabric of a white T-shirt, struggling to steady yourself. Frowning in confusion, you looked up and met the cheeky blue eyes of the last person you expected to see.
It was him — JJ Maybank himself, breathless and frantic, the unmistakable spark of mischief dancing in his gaze. Even amid his panic, his blue eyes glinted with a familiar wildness, hinting at the reckless adventure he always seemed to be chasing. In that moment, the world around you faded, leaving only the two of you standing on the edge of the beach, the waves whispering secrets to the shore.
“Hey there, my pretty little neighbor! It’s a perfect evening for a walk, don’t you think?” JJ chatted, his smile strained as he kept glancing back over his shoulder.
“JJ? What are you doing—?” You barely had time to finish your question before he cut you off. His playful demeanor vanished, replaced by an uncharacteristic seriousness that sent a chill down your spine. His blue eyes scanned your face, searching for something.
“I need your help,” he said quickly, lowering his voice as the distant wail of sirens began to fill the air.
Your thoughts raced, but they tangled together in confusion. “What?” you whispered, still too stunned to process what was happening.
“The cops are coming,” he said urgently, glancing around as if the shadows themselves might betray him. “I just… I need you to help me not get caught. Please.”
You blinked, trying to wrap your head around the situation. The sirens grew louder, and flashing lights danced around the corner, cutting through the evening calm. Panic swelled in your chest. What could you possibly do? You were not the type to get involved in this kind of chaos, especially not with someone like JJ, who always seemed to flirt with trouble.
You bit your lip, staring at him, your mind racing. You had no clue what JJ had done this time, but with all the rumors swirling about him, it could be serious. If the cops saw you with him, they might think you were involved, and the last thing you wanted was to be dragged into a police station to answer questions. All you wanted was to go home, wrap yourself in a cozy blanket, binge-watch your favorite show, and sip hot tea until sleep finally took you.
But time was running out. You needed a plan — and fast.
Then, a ridiculous idea flashed through your mind, inspired by that Marvel movie you had watched a few weeks ago. People tended to look away when they saw couples getting too… intimate. It was as if tenderness made them uncomfortable, a reminder of something personal they weren’t meant to witness. Kisses, soft touches, the kind of closeness that drew attention away from everything else.
Oh, no. You swallowed hard, heart pounding. It was a risky move, but you didn’t have the luxury of time to second-guess yourself.
Before you could stop yourself, you grabbed JJ by the collar and pulled him closer, pressing your lips to his.
It wasn’t just any kiss; it was your first kiss, and you had no clue what you were doing. The warmth of his lips against yours sent a jolt through you, a thrilling rush that left you dizzy. His breath mingled with yours, soft and sweet, and for a heartbeat, everything else faded away. You thought about pulling back, a wave of embarrassment washing over you, but then you felt his hand cradling the back of your head, steadying you, keeping you from breaking the moment.
“Whoa,” you whispered, your heart racing. But before you could say anything else, JJ deepened the kiss, his tongue brushing against yours with a playful insistence. You gasped, a surprised sound escaping your lips as your mind spun with confusion and exhilaration. You were lost in a whirlwind of sensations — your heart pounded wildly, and your hands found their way into his hair, fingers tugging gently at the tips.
Suddenly, your back hit something cold and hard. JJ pulled back slightly, both of you panting, gulping for air. His gaze swept over your face, a mixture of surprise and something unnameable flickering in his eyes. You opened your mouth, desperate to say something — anything — to justify your impulsive action, to apologize for crossing a line. The silence felt thick and awkward, stretching out between you like a taut string.
“Uh, I didn’t—” you began, but before you could finish, JJ’s hand cupped your cheek, his touch warm and grounding. He pulled you in again, kissing you once more, more fiercely this time.
Your cheeks burned, but it felt like your entire body was ablaze. Thoughts of right and wrong melted away, leaving only the intoxicating pleasure of his lips against yours. You couldn’t help but think that everyone who claimed JJ Maybank’s kisses were magical had it all wrong. They weren’t magical; they were raw and real, yet they lifted you high above the chaos of the world. Each kiss felt like a leap into the unknown, an escape where your soul soared and your heart raced.
Just as you lost yourself in the heat of it all, the wail of sirens pierced the air, cutting through the intimacy of the moment. Police cars rushed past, barely glancing in your direction, but the sudden noise jolted your heart back to reality.
The kiss lingered for a heartbeat longer before you pulled away, breathless and wide-eyed, struggling to process what had just happened. JJ blinked, his lips slightly parted, as if he wanted to say something, but the words failed to materialize, hanging in the air between you like unspoken secrets.
As reality settled back in, you dropped your hands, suddenly aware of just how close you had been. The warmth of the moment began to fade, replaced by a rush of embarrassment that flooded your cheeks. You cleared your throat, adjusting the bag that had slipped off your shoulder, the awkwardness of the situation weighing heavily on you.
“I... uh, saw it in the movies,” you mumbled, your voice barely above a whisper. The words tumbled out in a rush. “People don’t like public affection, so…”
JJ stared at you, a mixture of surprise and amusement flickering in his blue eyes. Then, to your shock, a slow grin spread across his face, playful and teasing. “Damn it,” he said, still trying to catch his breath, his voice light with laughter. “Remind me to ask you to save my ass more often, Bambi.”
You felt your cheeks ignite like they were on fire, and instinctively, you took a step back, craving a little more space. What had you just gotten yourself into? Your mind raced, blinking like a deer caught in headlights, unsure whether to crack a joke, tease him back, or just stand there in stunned silence.
JJ chuckled hoarsely, shaking his head as if he couldn’t quite believe the turn of events. “You’re something else, you know that?”
A nervous laugh escaped your lips, the tension hanging between you slowly beginning to ease, but the flutter in your stomach remained, leaving you wondering what this moment meant for both of you.
“Don’t look at me like that with those beautiful big eyes of yours, or I might just fall for you right here and now,” he teased, flashing a wink that sent a rush of warmth to your cheeks.
You couldn’t help but roll your eyes, though a shy smile crept onto your lips. “Seriously, JJ? Is this your idea of flirting? Because it’s kind of cheesy.”
“I know, right?” he laughed, the sound light and carefree. “But it works, doesn’t it? I mean, look at you! I’d be an idiot not to try.”
His voice dropped, a playful seriousness creeping in as he leaned closer. “I think I owe you now,” he whispered, almost conspiratorially, his breath tickling your ear. His hand slid gently over your shoulder, and before you could react, he casually lifted your bag, throwing it over his shoulder like it weighed nothing.
“Hey! That’s my bag!” you protested, half-heartedly, your heart fluttering at his boldness.
“I know, but I don’t like being beholden to beautiful girls like you,” he said, grinning like he’d just won a prize. “So, as a thank you, I’m walking you home. Wouldn’t want anyone to steal you away.”
He winked again, laughter dancing in his blue eyes as he started to walk ahead, your bag bouncing lightly against his back. You stood frozen for a moment, still processing what just happened. His hair was tousled, the way it always was, and you wondered if your heart had raced like this before. Did you really make him flustered? Oh my God, was this really happening?
“Are you coming?” he called over his shoulder, pausing to give you that cheeky grin that made your stomach flip.
“Uh, yeah, I’m coming!” you managed to say, shaking yourself out of your daze. You hurried to catch up with him, your heart beating wildly, a mix of exhilaration and disbelief bubbling inside you. As you walked side by side, the sound of the waves crashing behind you and the warm breeze wrapping around you felt like a secret the universe was sharing.
The night air was alive with laughter and playful banter, the gentle rhythm of the waves providing a perfect soundtrack to your conversation. JJ animatedly recounted his latest adventures with the Pogues — like the time they snuck into the lighthouse for a midnight swim and ended up launching a misguided rescue mission for a beach ball. You hung on every word, entranced by his charisma, the warmth of his presence beside you igniting something within you.
“Seriously, though,” he said, glancing sideways, a cheeky grin spreading across his face, “thanks for helping me back there. Who knew a cute girl could be such a hero?”
You laughed, the sound bright in the night air. “I didn’t have much of a choice. You practically swept me off my feet with that spin…”
He chuckled, that familiar mischief dancing in his gaze. “What can I say? I’ve always been drawn to trouble. And now, I guess I’m just moonstruck by you.”
With each step, the distance between you shrank, a connection sparking amid the chaos of the night. When you finally reached your porch, he paused, turning to face you, the glow of the moon illuminating his features in a way that made your heart race.
“I had an awesome time tonight,” he said, a hint of sincerity in his tone. “Maybe we should hang out again. You know, when I’m not dodging cops or getting into trouble. How about a pizza or something?”
You chuckled, the sound light and bright. “Didn’t know you treated all your life saviors to dinner. What’s next, a moonlit pizza date?”
JJ smirked, leaning in slightly, a playful glint in his eyes. “Only the cute ones. Just imagine it—a night under the stars, with me serenading you about my crazy adventures. Sounds perfect, right?”
You couldn’t help but smile, feeling your heart race at the thought. “Yeah, maybe. But I’m not sure if I’m ready for your karaoke skills yet.”
He threw his head back and laughed, a sound that made your heart flutter. “Oh, I’ll win you over. You’ll be begging for an encore.”
With a final grin, he stepped back, his eyes lingering on yours for a moment that felt electric. “Cool. I’ll see you around then.”
As you watched him walk away, the night felt charged with promise, the moonlight casting a silvery glow that made everything seem magical. You stood on your porch, a soft whisper of excitement filling your heart, knowing that this was just the beginning of something wonderfully beautiful—something that had you feeling both moonstruck and hopeful for what lay ahead.

break free | lando norris
pairing: lando norris x reader summary: a no-strings relationship filled with broken promises and painful habits begins to crumble when she decides it’s time to break the cycle
Lando had never believed in labels or long-term promises. For him, relationships were like races: intense, thrilling, and with an inevitable finish line. And for some reason, she had agreed to those terms from the start.
They’d met at a party in Silverstone, one of those chaotic weekends where adrenaline blurred into revelry. She wasn’t like the other girls who usually surrounded him; she didn’t care about cars, cameras, or impressing him. What caught his attention was her indifference.
At first, it was all so simple. Laughter, nights of passion, and a mutual, unspoken understanding that this wasn’t serious. But over time, things got complicated. She started staying after parties, listening to his frustrations after bad days on the track, and reading between the lines when he claimed he was fine, though his eyes said otherwise. Sometimes, Lando wondered why she stuck around, knowing full well he could never give her what she deserved.
And her? Well, she seemed to accept it—or at least that’s what she let him believe. She didn’t cry when he vanished after an argument, didn’t ask about the girls in the photos with him, and never demanded more than he was willing to offer. Initially, that apparent nonchalance reassured him. Over time, though, it began to confuse him.
Perhaps that’s why, when he saw her surrounded by others, laughing with friends who were far too attractive or far too attentive, he felt that annoying pang of jealousy. He’d never admit it out loud, but there was something about the way Charles looked at her that irritated him to no end.
“It’s ridiculous,” he told himself. “She always comes back to me.”
It was a cycle that repeated itself over and over again: he’d go out, she’d see him with others, say nothing, and by the end of the night, they’d always be together. Sometimes he wondered how long this dynamic could last before one of them finally broke.
The music pulsed through the exclusive Monte Carlo club, the lights flickering like stars over a packed dance floor. Lando leaned against the bar, his signature carefree demeanour intact, a whisky glass in hand. He was surrounded by a group of girls, their attention as fleeting as his own emotions. While he laughed at something one of them said, his gaze shifted towards the club’s entrance.
She was there, with that calm gaze and an attitude that seemed to tell the world nothing could touch her. She’d learned not to expect anything from him. She didn’t complain when she saw him with others, didn’t cry when he disappeared for days. She was just... there, her presence as inevitable as sunrise.
When she walked in, Lando wasn’t surprised. He noticed her instantly, though she made no effort to capture his attention. She sat at a table with friends, including Charles and Pierre . Her laughter carried through the air like a melody he couldn’t ignore, and for a moment, a pang of something like jealousy stabbed at his chest.
There she was. In a fitted black dress that accentuated every curve and a confidence that always disarmed him. She looked stunning. She always did.
“What’re you staring at?” Daniel asked, noticing his friend’s fixed gaze.
“Nothing. Just someone I wasn’t expecting to see here.”
Daniel followed his line of sight and let out a low chuckle. “Ah, her. How much longer d’you reckon she’ll put up with your nonsense, Lando?”
“She knows how this works,” Lando replied, though the uncertainty in his voice betrayed him.
“You going to stand here staring all night or actually talk to her?” Daniel asked, giving him a nudge on the shoulder.
Lando clicked his tongue and downed his whisky in one go. “She knows I always end up with her. No rush.”
Hours later, the party was still in full swing, but Lando’s patience had worn thin. He’d watched her dance with Charles, laugh with Pierre, and barely glance his way. The club’s noise couldn’t drown out the sound of her laughter, and for some reason, it grated on him more than he cared to admit.
Finally, he approached her.
“You seem to be enjoying yourself with Charles.”
She rolled her eyes. “Seriously, Lando? That’s what you’re going to say to me? After everything you do, you expect me to just smile?”
“I’m not saying that…”
“Then what are you saying? Because honestly, I’ve no idea what you want from me. Or actually, I do know, but I’m getting tired of playing your game.”
He stayed silent, and she seized the moment to continue.
“It’s always the same with you. You come to me when it suits you, disappear when you’re bored, and expect me to just be here like nothing’s happened.”
“You knew what this was from the start,” Lando finally said defensively.
“Yes, I did. But knowing and living it are two very different things. And I’m starting to realise I’m not the person I thought I was. This... whatever this is... isn’t what I want for myself.”
“You always say that, but you always come back.”
She stared at him, her expression a mixture of sadness and determination. “Maybe this time’s different.”
Charles, who’d been watching the exchange from across the table, stepped in with a nervous chuckle. “Everything all right here?”
“Perfectly,” she replied, standing and grabbing her bag. “I’m heading to the balcony. Enjoy yourselves.”
The cool air on the terrace was a relief after the heat and noise of the club. She lit a cigarette and let the silence envelop her, if only for a moment.
“Why do you always do this?”
She turned her head to see him approaching, hands in his pockets and a serious expression on his face.
“Do what, Lando?”
“Act like you don’t care about anything I do.”
She let out a bitter laugh. “Because I shouldn’t care, should I? That was always the deal.”
“Don’t say that.”
“Why not? It’s what you wanted. No commitments, no questions, no expectations. Just empty nights and waiting days.”
“I never asked you to wait,” he said, knowing how cruel the words sounded.
She nodded slowly, as if his words confirmed what she already knew. “You’re right. You didn’t. But you didn’t do anything to stop me either.”
The days that followed were strange for Lando. She didn’t reply to his texts or return his calls. At first, he thought she’d get over it. She always did. But this time, something felt different.
Eventually, he went to her flat, the one they’d often shared during quieter moments. She was gone. All that remained was an emptiness that made him feel small and insignificant.
The reunion was inevitable, though not how he’d expected. At a party at Max’s, she showed up with Charles, laughing like nothing had happened. Lando felt the lump in his throat but stayed away.
Later, when the night wound down, he found her on the balcony, just like that time before.
“Why?” he asked, his voice thick with desperation.
“Because I deserve more,” she replied without looking at him.
“I can change,” he said, and this time, he meant it.
She smiled sadly. “It’s not about you changing for me. It’s about me no longer waiting for you to.”

TOO SWEET ⊹₊⟡⋆ 18+
CONTAINS : grumpy x sunshine, fluff, fem!reader, innocent!reader, smut, f!ngering, soft!dom, mentions of drugs
SAM MONROE loathed the way you danced through life in your frilly pink skirts and bows, each twirl sending a ripple of annoyance through him. Your soft voice and insatiably sweet demeanor had become almost nauseating, leaving a bitter aftertaste in his thoughts. Sure, you had been neighbors for as long as he could remember, sharing laughter and mischief in the carefree days of childhood.
Yet, even then, your unwavering kindness struck him as disconcerting, a puzzle he couldn’t quite solve. And now, as you stood on his front porch with a closed basket in hand, the warm aroma of freshly baked banana muffins swirling around you, he felt a strange mix of irritation and curiosity. Your big, doe-like eyes sparkled with innocence, and your gentle smile cut through his defenses like sunlight piercing a thick fog.
“Hi, Sam,” you said softly, your voice a gentle melody, “Is your mother home? I made some muffins!” Your long curls danced around you as you spoke, adding a lighthearted charm to the moment. Sam’s hand gripped the door handle tightly as he looked down at you, his expression unreadable. “I—Uh, no, she’s not home,” he replied, his tone gruff.
You reached up on your tiptoes, peering over his shoulder into the dimly lit house. “Is your dad ho—” you began, but suddenly stumbled forward, nearly losing your balance. Sam instinctively shot his arms out to steady you, a flash of irritation crossing his face. “Hey! Easy!” he exclaimed, clearly annoyed yet unable to hide the flicker of concern in his eyes.
Your cheeks flushed ever so slightly, a soft pink blooming across your face. “No, he’s not home,” Sam repeated with a sigh, his patience waning. “I can take the muffins,” he added hastily, eager to escape the conversation.
A small smile graced your lips as you handed him the basket. Your hands grazed gently, and for a brief moment, a spark lingered in the air. “I hope you guys like them!” you beamed, infusing the moment with your infectious enthusiasm before turning and skipping off the porch.
Sam stood there, momentarily dumbfounded, watching you retreat. He shook his head as he finally closed the door, a mix of disbelief and confusion swirling within him. He walked into the kitchen, setting the basket down on the counter before opening the fridge and grabbing a soda. Leaning against the counter, he took a sip, the cool liquid contrasting with the warmth of the cozy kitchen.
His gaze drifted to the basket, the scent of fresh muffins calling to him. With a resigned sigh, he opened the basket and plucked out one of the treats. Taking a bite, he grimaced slightly; it was undeniably delicious, but too sweet for his taste—just like you.
Later that night, Sam sat in his room, aimlessly scrolling through his phone, the glow of the screen casting shadows on his uninterested face. The tranquility was abruptly shattered when his dad burst in, anger etched across his features. He held up a pack of Marlboro Reds, his voice rising in disbelief. “What the hell, Sam? Really?” Sam glanced up, his expression a mix of indifference and defiance. “What?” he retorted, a hint of exasperation in his tone.
His father took a deep breath, attempting to rein in his frustration. “You are not to be smoking under my roof!” he exclaimed, the weight of his authority filling the room. “I’m not! …in the house!” Sam shot back, his voice rising to meet his father's anger. With a heavy sigh, his father hurled the pack of cigarettes at him before storming out, muttering under his breath.
As the door slammed shut, Sam scoffed and picked up the discarded pack, an unexpected heaviness settling in the air around him. The silence that followed felt stifling, pressing in on him from all sides. He quickly put on his shoes and grabbed his keys, a decision forming in his mind. A night drive seemed like just the escape he needed to calm the chaos swirling inside his head.
Sam trudged out the door, not bothering to say anything to his family as he made his way outside. Just as he was about to open the car door, an all-too-familiar voice chimed from behind him, “Sammy?” You called out, your tone laced with curiosity. He paused, internally groaning, before turning around. There you stood, your short frame looking up at him, adorned in a pink skirt that danced with the breeze.
“Yeah?” he replied, forcing indifference into his voice.“Where are you going?” you asked, tilting your head, your curls cascading over your shoulder like a flowing river.
He snorted, the coldness of his tone betraying his irritation. “Why do you care?” A flicker of hurt crossed your face, your eyes flashing with disappointment. “I... I was reading on my porch,” you said, holding up the book tucked under your arm, “and I saw you about to leave. So, where are you going?” you pressed again, a soft smile creeping onto your lips.
Sam studied you for a moment, the warmth of your smile tugging at something inside him. “I’m going on a drive,” he replied, trying to sound disinterested. You gasped, your eyes lighting up. “Can I come?” you asked, your voice laced with genuine excitement. You gently grabbed his arm, leaning in with those big, pleading eyes. “Pleaseeeee,” you begged, and Sam couldn’t help but feel a pull towards your enthusiasm.
He ran a hand through his hair, wrestling with his thoughts. This was the last thing he needed right now, yet the sight of your hopeful smile made him kick himself internally. “I…” he started, exhaling a resigned sigh. “I guess so,” he finally relented.
Your face broke into a radiant grin as you jumped up and down. “Yay!” you cheered before climbing into the passenger seat. Sam slid into the driver’s seat and started the car. However, he barely had time to adjust before you wrinkled your nose.
“Your car smells like wee—”
“Do you want to come or not?” he snapped, frustration creeping into his voice.
You nodded and fell into a contemplative silence. He began to back out of the driveway when you piped up again, “Ohhh, Sam! Can we get slushies?” A wide grin spread across your face. Sam scoffed, a reluctant smile tugging at his lips. This girl was going to be the death of him.
An hour later, you settled into the cozy embrace of your seat, a red slushee cradled in your lap—thanks to Sam’s generous treat. You happily hummed along to the catchy melodies drifting through the air, lost in your own world. Sam, glancing over at you, felt a flicker of uncertainty creeping into his thoughts. He wrestled internally, guilt trickling in at the realization that he had been cold with you, Besides, your company didn’t end up being that unenjoyable, he thought.
“Where are we heading next?” you chirped, your voice cutting through his musings. A flicker of surprise flashed across Sam's face; he hadn’t expected you to be so eager. “Oh, I assumed we were just going home,” he admitted, and your smile faltered ever so slightly.
But then, after a moment’s hesitation, he added, “I know a spot where the stars look incredible. If that sounds interesting,” he added nonchalantly, though his heart raced a bit. “It’s late, and there’s not much else to do.”
Your expression brightened like a firework lighting up the night sky. “That sounds amazing!” you exclaimed, your excitement infectious. A subtle smile broke through Sam's apprehension, and he found himself slowly nodding in agreement.
Sam steered the car down a winding, forgotten road that led to a secluded dead end, parking deftly between towering trees. As the engine quieted, your breath caught in your throat, for you had just stumbled upon a breathtaking sight: a steep cliff that offered a panoramic view of the sleeping city below. The warm glow of countless lights twinkled like stars fallen to Earth, casting a magical spell over the night. You stared, entranced, your eyes reflecting the shimmering landscape. "How did you know about this place?" you asked, a hint of wonder in your voice.
“I come here to smoke sometimes,” he replied nonchalantly, as if that small confession held little weight against the majesty of the scene before you. Silence enveloped the moment, filled only by the distant hum of the city and the flutter of your own heart. After gathering your thoughts, you turned to him, your voice barely a whisper, “Sam?”
“Yeah?” he replied, glancing your way.
You hesitated, your heart racing as you took a deep breath. “Why are you so mean to me—or rude? I know that’s not who you are all the time, but… I can’t help but think you don’t... like me.”
His surprise was palpable as your words hit him like a jolt, guilt washing over him like a wave. “I… I don’t mean to be,” he stammered, raking a hand through his hair, the weight of your admission settling heavily on his chest. “I just don’t always have the best attitude,” he said, the admission wrapped in vulnerability.
A thick silence fell between you, and you turned to him, your eyes shimmering with unshed tears. “Did I do something wrong?” you asked, the innocence in your tone cutting deep. Guilt prodded at Sam's heart, and he mentally berated himself for making you feel this way. “I… I just wanted you to like me,” you confessed, the hurt in your voice striking a chord within him.
In the quiet that followed, memories flashed through his mind: your sweet gestures, like bringing him cold lemonade on sweltering days while he tinkered with his car, the way you brought him a packed lunch everyday you knew he worked , and the warmth you brought whenever you visited his home—his mother’s fondness for you was no secret. “I… I’m sorry,” he murmured, regret laced in every word.
You turned your gaze to the window, a soft sniff escaping your lips as the weight of the moment lingered. Then, out of nowhere, you felt yourself pulled from your seat, unexpectedly landing in his lap. “Sam?” you exclaimed, surprise coloring your voice.
With a gentle, protective arm wrapped around your waist, he drew you closer, resting your head against his chest. “I’m so sorry, princess,” he murmured, fingers tenderly stroking your hair. The unexpected intimacy sent warmth flooding to your cheeks.
You met his gaze, and time seemed to freeze as you looked into his eyes. He took in the sight of you, the way you felt like fire against him, the delicate scent of vanilla that intertwined with the cool night air. Tentatively, he lifted his hand to caress your cheek, leaning closer, his breath mingling with the electric tension that surged between you.
And then, with all the unspoken emotions swirling around, he pressed his lips to yours in a soft, tentative kiss.
As your lips met, a wave of warmth rushed through you both, igniting a spark that sent shivers down your spine. The kiss deepened as Sam’s hands found their way to your waist, pulling you closer against him. You could feel the steady beat of his heart against your chest, matching the rapid rhythm of your own. The world around you faded into oblivion, leaving just the two of you suspended in this moment of intimacy.
His lips moved against yours with a hungry urgency, exploring the softness of your mouth, tasting the sweetness that lingered there. You responded instinctively, your fingers tangling in his hair, drawing him even closer as the kiss grew more fervent. The tension that had hung between you began to dissolve under the heat of your connection, replaced by an undeniable longing that surged through both of you.
Sam’s hands roamed your back, tracing the curves of your body, igniting trails of warmth wherever he touched. You could feel the heat radiating from him, an intoxicating blend of desire and urgency that sent your senses spinning. As he pulled back for a breath, his eyes flickered with an intensity that made your breath hitch—a mix of vulnerability and raw desire that left you trembling.
“Are you sure about this?” he murmured, his voice a low rumble that sent butterflies fluttering in your stomach.
“Yes,” you breathed, your heart racing as you met his gaze, determination shining within your eyes.
With a soft growl, he took your face in his hands, crashing his lips against yours again, but this time with an assertiveness that stole the air from your lungs. His hands began to explore more boldly, grazing your sides before daring to venture lower, igniting sparks of pleasure that danced along your skin. Each touch made your skin tingle with anticipation, and you could feel the electricity building between you.
You pressed your body against him, feeling the undeniable evidence of his desire against you. With a newfound boldness, you tilted your head, deepening the kiss, as if trying to merge your very souls in this moment. Sam groaned softly, the sound vibrating through his chest, making you crave him even more.
As the intensity of the kiss reached a fever pitch, Sam's hands gently coaxed you from his lap to the backseat, the confined space igniting a new wave of anticipation. With a soft urgency, he settled you down, his body pressing against yours as he hovered over you. “I’m so sorry princess” His fingers traced a delicate path along your thigh, igniting a fire beneath your skin, and you felt your breath hitch in excitement.
“I’ve waited too long to have you like this,” he confessed between kisses, his voice rough yet tender, each word igniting a new spark of longing. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer, as if fearing he would slip away into the shadows of doubt that had haunted your recent past.
"You don’t have to apologize anymore," you murmured when you finally broke apart, breathless and wide-eyed. "Just show me how you feel." The challenge hung in the air, and you watched as a wicked grin spread across his face, a mixture of mischief and determination that sent shivers down your spine.
“Consider it done,” he murmured darkly, his fingers now dancing along the outline of your waist.
His fingers danced teasingly along the hem of your pink skirt, a playful tug pulling your attention. "I really like this," he confessed, warmth sparking between you. You let out a soft giggle, the thrill of the moment electrifying the air as his hand found its way to where desire lingered. You could feel the heat of your slick core radiating against his touch, every brush sending shivers down your spine. Your breath caught in your throat, a whisper of his name escaping your lips: "Sam…" He silenced you with a gentle hush, his voice low and sultry. "Just relax, princess. I’m going to make you feel good," he promised, pulling your panties aside with deliberate slowness. A single finger slid through your slick folds, eliciting a soft moan from your lips that drew a deep, satisfying chuckle from him.
He pushed two fingers in and out, swirling in a rhythm that made your head swim, you could feel the heat pooling low in your belly, a tantalizing pressure that begged for release. “That’s it, just let go,” he murmured, his breath warm against your ear, sending shivers down your spine. The world around you faded, leaving just the two of you entwined in this intimate moment, as his finger curled expertly, finding exactly the right spot to drive you wild.
Every flick and thrust sent electric sparks coursing through your body. “You like that, don’t you?” Sam teased, his voice rich and low. You nodded breathlessly, struggling to articulate how good it felt, how much you craved more. As if reading your mind, his movements intensified, each stroke a magnet pulling you closer to bliss. The heat built within you, an insistent throb that demanded attention, pushing you to the edge.
“Let’s see how far we can take this,” he whispered, his smile both wicked and playful, as he added another finger, stretching you just right. You bit your lip, trying to contain the sounds bubbling up inside you. But Sam was relentless, coaxing you out of your restraint, encouraging every moan and sigh to escape your lips as he worked his magic.
“Sam, I…” you gasped, but the words slipped away as sensations overwhelmed you. He paused for a heartbeat, teasing you, his gaze locked on yours, igniting a fire that burned hotter than anything you’d ever known. “What is it, princess? Tell me what you need,” he urged, his tone firm yet inviting, making the promise of pleasure hang tantalizingly in the air between you.
As his finger glided through your slick folds, you arched your back instinctively, the sensation igniting a fire deep inside you. He watched your reactions intently, a predatory glint in his eye, ensuring that every flick and stroke lingered just long enough to drive you to the edge. Sam's breath mingled with yours, taut with desire, as he pressed deeper, his touch exploring every sensitive curve and contour.
“Does that feel good?” he whispered, his voice thick with need. You could only nod, lost in the swell of pleasure that built with each movement. With a mischievous smile, he added another finger, gently stretching you as he curled them in just the right way. It felt intoxicating as every nerve in your body came alive—he knew exactly how to drive you wild.
“Sam… please…” you gasped, words tumbling over themselves in your urgency. The longing in your voice fueled him, transforming his gentleness into a fervent need. He leaned closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he murmured, “Just a little more, princess,” sending shivers cascading down your spine.
His thumb began to tease your sensitive bud, swirling in rhythm with the thrust of his fingers. You could feel tension coiling within you, building to a peak that felt almost unbearable. Your breath quickened, and he seemed to relish every moment—the way your body responded to him, how you clung to the fabric of your skirt as if it were the only thing grounding you.
He captured your lips with his, a kiss that ignited a spark as he claimed you fully. It was passionate and desperate, a sweet mingling of breaths and taste. All the while, his fingers continued their relentless exploration, pushing you further into a whirlwind of ecstasy. You melted against him, surrendering completely to the intoxicating whirlwind he was weaving.
“Let go, baby,” he urged softly against your lips, his own voice thick with lust. With one last stroke, that coil inside you snapped, and you unraveled into pure bliss, your moans muffled against his mouth as waves of pleasure consumed you.

As he drove you home, the world outside faded into a dreamlike haze, every streetlight and sign blurring into insignificance.
